Love that Ann and Ryuji both love food and bond w Akira over food…something about it is so sweet to me. The ramen shop, the crepes, the hotel buffet, the afternoon diner hangouts, the attic hotpot…Ann making the hotpot suggestion; Ryuji showing u his favorite hole in the wall restaurant…all the thieves enjoying the local restaurants and food in strikers; Akira making the leblanc curry and coffee for teammates, and Akira getting volunteer help to cook restorative food for the team….i just love it alot. Okay, so @somer-writes and I have determined that the argument boils down to whether or not you want the liquid part of your sandwich to be flavored, and whether or not you've grown up used to your sandwich being flavored. There's a whole map that exists on different states' reported preference, and I don't know how true it is, but it matches with my state's preference so I'm sticking with it. (credit to @wanderlustmagician for re-finding this image for me)

I think that miracle whip is superior. I think that your sandwich should always have a little bit of sweetness to it, a little bit of love. Mayonnaise is tasteless sandwich grease that doesn't actually add to the enjoyment of the sandwich. Somer and I will fight about this until the heat death of the universe.

I do not like relish, but I also do not think that it is a food crime like mayonnaise is. Because do not get me wrong, mayonnaise is a crime. This is a hill upon which I will fight until my last breath.

Hey I knew exactly what was gonna happen in episode 8 of TLOU and somehow was not prepared?? Like how did they make David more terrifying?

First of all: he was a teacher before this? Barf. “I’ve always had a violent heart” or whatever? Double barf. This man has done this countless times.

When he hit that girl and sat and ate right in front of them I knew in my gut he was going to be worse than in the game. Obviously the show doesn’t have to move on so you can play. The whole thing is meant to be observed. So they can flesh stuff out. But oh my god

And then AND THEN DURING THE FIGHT?!??? BEFORE ELLIE KILLED HIM?!??!?!??? The screams were so realistic I started sobbing and dry heaving. I don’t care that I knew she’d be fine in the end. It scared me and reduced me back to my experiences and how horrible they were. And there was nothing I could do. I couldn’t press a button. I just had to watch. And when he said something about “the fight makes it better” or whatever? Extra barf I cannot

And the disassociation afterwards?!?!??? Like?!???!??? Correct. You don’t know what’s going on or if you’re safe and she’s still in shock and she did get to get her aggression out on him (since Joel didn’t come in like in the game) but oh my god the immediate defense mechanism?!???

Give Bella Ramsey all of the awards because they deserve it and also give me a Xanax because I had a panic attack and sat rocking back and forth sobbing on my couch for like 30-40 minutes

A lot of stuff was similar to the game too. “Tell them Ellie is the little girl who broke your fucking finger!” Always a classic. But this was definitely MORE than the game. Just as a warning

okay now that i'm no longer trying to keep a project secret from certain people i can complain publicly about a thing i've been losing my mind about:

why the fuck is the evo wiki like that.

listen. i know. i know fandom wikis being decent entirely relies on whether there are people who both want to obsessively categorize things enough to fill out the wiki, with the free time to do that kind of obsessive categorization, and the desire to manage it all as a wiki. believe me, i know. but please i'm just trying to do research please, please at least bigb's page was just Entirely Empty so i knew i had useless information and just left. why the fuck did the mafia's page, by contrast, have this:

a sentence that is actively LESS USEFUL THAN IF IT WERE NOT THERE.

and then grian's page - GRIAN'S. GRIAN'S. THE ONE PAGE I THOUGHT MIGHT HAVE A SHOT OF BEING FILLED OUT. JOKE'S ON ME I GUESS.
