Hi everyone! A very cool person put this in my inbox and thought it would be a fun idea to have an online meetup this Sunday before the Orange Carpet Pre-Show begins!

It will be at 1PM CST, 11AM PST, 2PM EST, 7PM UK TIME, 8AM NZDT, and 6AM AEDT (sorry Aussie phannies). This is thirty minutes before the Orange Carpet Pre-Show with Phil begins and an hour before the actual livestream of WAD begins!

i don’t own any orange (apparently) so here is some peachy eyeshadow with my favorite dan merch.

i’m so excited to watch the show for the first time. i never bought tickets when he came to my hometown (go bostonians woop woop) because i was so scared to go alone. part of me still wishes that i had went but for the most part i’m just so hyped to be able to watch it with all of you here!

i’m so proud of dan and everything he has done. literally grew up watching him and it is so wild to look back and see everything he has been able to accomplish.

Dan means the world to me and his experiences with coming out have forever impacted me. He is someone I’ve looked up to for ages and I’m so thankful someone like him exists. I’m so proud of him and can’t wait to see the show one last time because it’s truly some of his best work and he is so immensely talented.

Hello fellow, WAD attendees! The first video I ever saw by Daniel Howell was Basically, I’m Gay. Truly an iconic video for my first ever time watching him and one that makes me oddity in Phannie circles. It truly changed my life. It didn’t make me realize that I’m gay - I had been out as a lesbian for roughly three years by this point - but it filled me with a sense of pride I’d never truly felt before. I saw my experience as a mentally ill, closeted (even to myself) teenager who dealt with bullies reflected in this man I’d heard of so often but had never watched. Soon I was watching all of his, and Phil’s, content - swept up by how funny he is, yes, but also kind, creative, and compassionate. I can’t wait to watch We’re All Doomed and everything he does in the future. 🖤

I don't own anything orange but I think Dan would approve of the all-black fit.

hiiiiiiiii phannies 🧡🧡 im at work today so i can’t be too cunty for this most holy day but i found one of very few orange items i own + my most dancore sweater hehe. shoutout to these mirrors at my work truly doing the most.

i’ve been in the phandom for going on 10 years to some extent (oh my god we really are all dying) and i love this community and those gay people on youtube so so much. besides bringing joy into my life that dani snot on fire guy has also irrevocably altered my pronunciations of certain words (literally) and my use of extremely niche phrases in every day life. i realised last night that completely unrelatedly i also first “officially” came out in the summer of 2019 and especially the last few years i have been so so proud to see dan find pride in being out and proud.
