THANK YOU: I want to thank MartinjoSs, Aleksey Osipenkov & Strangepeo for collaborating with me to help put this space together. I also want to thank dpupperr & the Protoworld team for their endless enthusiasm and support.
Thank you to the artists and the Tezos community. I truly love this blockchain!💖 I appreciate how collaborative and fun and uplifting so many of you can be!✨
The BZYRQ-X METAVERSE was inspired by, and built as a tribute and home to MartinjoSs along with other artwork I have collected. Its purpose is to showcase underrepresented artists and onboard new people to web 3. It's also a place to hang out and enjoy the art.
The metaverse is a group effort.
I would like to encourage you to share this space, explore, take some selfies, visit the artwork profiles and support these artists. I hope you will enjoy the digital art I have collected as much as I do.😊
FOR BEST EXPERIENCE:
Desktop ONLY. Wait for the zone to fully load before exploring. Chrome browser & fast internet suggested. Dedicated graphics card ideal. The cell system loads incrementally- your experience may slow or speed up as you travel. This space uses a lot of memory, which builds up- refresh your browser or restart your computer as needed.

The Immersive World of Open World Exploration in Video Games
Tumblr media
In the world of video games, open world exploration has emerged as a captivating and enduring trope, offering players a chance to escape into expansive, immersive, and sometimes awe-inspiring virtual realms. This narrative device has significantly enriched the gaming experience by providing a sense of freedom, discovery, and engagement that extends far beyond traditional linear storytelling.
Open world exploration games are characterized by their vast and interconnected environments, often featuring lush landscapes, bustling cities, and uncharted territories. The appeal of these games lies in their ability to grant players the freedom to venture off the beaten path, chart their own course, and craft their unique narratives within the game's framework.
One of the fundamental benefits of open world exploration is the opportunity for players to experience a heightened sense of agency. Unlike linear games that funnel players down predetermined storylines, open world titles empower gamers to make choices, take risks, and influence the game world. This sense of agency can manifest in various ways, from deciding which quests to pursue to shaping the development of in-game characters.
Moreover, open world exploration encourages curiosity and a desire for discovery. Players are incentivized to explore every nook and cranny of the virtual world, uncovering hidden treasures, uncovering lore-rich backstories, and encountering dynamic events that can shape the course of their adventures. This aspect of the trope taps into the very essence of human curiosity and our innate desire to explore the unknown.
The storytelling potential of open world exploration is also a defining feature. These games often employ environmental storytelling, where the game world itself becomes a narrative device. A dilapidated building can tell a story of a forgotten era, while ancient ruins might hint at a long-lost civilization. Players become detectives, piecing together the overarching narrative through the clues scattered across the landscape.
In recent years, open world exploration has thrived thanks to technological advancements that have made these expansive virtual realms even more immersive. Improved graphics, realistic physics, and dynamic weather systems create living, breathing worlds that draw players deeper into the experience. Furthermore, innovations in artificial intelligence have led to more realistic and responsive non-player characters (NPCs) and wildlife, enhancing the overall sense of immersion.
Notable examples of open world exploration games, such as "The Elder Scrolls" series, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," and "Red Dead Redemption 2," have demonstrated the genre's ability to captivate players and provide hundreds of hours of engaging gameplay. These games showcase the diverse ways in which open world exploration can be implemented, from epic fantasy adventures to Wild West escapades.
However, the success of open world exploration also poses challenges for game developers. Crafting vast, detailed worlds requires significant resources and meticulous design. Balancing player freedom with compelling storytelling can be a delicate task, and the risk of overwhelming players with too much choice is ever-present.
In conclusion, open world exploration has become a staple of modern gaming, offering players the chance to immerse themselves in vast, dynamic, and interactive virtual realms. Its ability to provide agency, foster curiosity, and deliver compelling narratives sets it apart as a trope that has reshaped the gaming landscape. As technology continues to evolve, it is likely that open world exploration will remain a beloved and enduring element of video game design, continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible in virtual storytelling.

Five Features Fediverse Creators Should Copy From Counter Social
With Threads, Tumblr & Post on the verge of joining the Fediverse in the latter half of 2023, the number of Fediverse users could reach 250 million before children worldwide open their presents on Christmas Day. The entrance of formally centralized players embracing ActivityPub to stay relevant (after all, they are not embracing federation for the “feels”) may result in some classic Fediverse…

So it’s safe (for now) to say that Margo’s dimension style is kinda a mystery to us viewers movie wise. Because of that, I thought I’d rewatch Ready Player One and take some things from her comics to see if I could make a base for the virtual realm
Tumblr media
•For starters, you can do anything (Go karts, slaying a dragon, dance worlds that are 25/8, Margo’s done it all)
•It’s a world that’s home to countless worlds (Margo keeps neat souvenirs in her inventory for fighting villains in random lands)
•Semi HC within a HC: Margo has her own private map that houses her cozy virtual getaway that also doubles as her workshop. There she creates custom content for suit/helmet ideas, hairstyles, alter aliases for any occasion.
•Based off both RPO and ATSV: Margo’s VR can give her a slight sensor (it’s levels can vary depending on what happens) that lets her know when she comes in physical contact with someone else.

Niflheim
A realm of mist and potential. The habitable region where Niflheim and Muspelheim meet is called the Ginnungagap.
Muspelheim
Musphelheim is a realm of flames. The ruler of this realm is named Surtr, and he is the one destined to kill Freyr at Ragnarok.
Asgard
The home of the Aesir (including: Odin, Thor, and eventually many members of the Vanir). Asgard is protected by a mighty wall, and the creation of that wall has a fairly interesting myth associated with it.
Midgard
Where humans live; Earth (sometimes called Middle-Earth). The gods have been known to visit Earth and occasionally intervene with human affairs both on large and small scales.
Jotunheim
A realm of nature and home to powerful beings of ice and earth, the Jotuns. Some Aesir occasionally visit Jotunheim for adventures and mischief (commonly Thor and Loki).
Vanaheim
Original home to the Vanir (including Njord, Freyr, and Freyja). Vanaheim and Asgard initially began as enemies, but through a messy series of hostage trades and murders, a truce was eventually reached. The Vanir and Aesir successfully cohabitate and have intermarried on a few occasions.
Alfheim
Little is known about Alfheim, other than that it is home to the "light-elves" (or "fairies"). It is commonly thought to be a beautiful, ethereal realm which holds the Vanir god Freyr as its Lord.
Svartalfheim
Home to the "dark-elves" (or "dwarves"). Loki and Freyja are known to have visited this realm seeking the famous craftsmanship of the dwarves. Freyja sought a gorgeous necklace and Loki sought to offer gifts to the other gods (through this process, Thor's hammer Mjolnir was made).
Helheim
The realm that is home to those who pass away in ways other than battle (many people view dying of certain illnesses constitutes as a metaphorical battle, and would thus grant the individual entry to the other afterlife option: residence in Odin's hall Valhalla. This view is valid to me, with the caveat that I don't view Helheim as a lesser realm, or a realm where exclusively "dishonorable" folks reside). Loki and Angrboda's daughter Hel rules over this realm.

Writing Prompt - The Backrooms AU
What if The Backrooms are just another part of The Infinite Realms. It is mostly just the underformed areas of lairs from people that have had near death experiences and were about to become ghosts. In those moments between life and ghost life they start to imprint their lair onto the zone. Only because they never die and become a ghost the process is stopped and you get a weird almost place. Normally just an odd fragment of a room or an object. Most of the time these almost lairs fragment and fade away quickly into the regular floating chunks of terrain and items of the general realms. Rarely they hold on longer and become neutral territory that another ghost can claim and use to expand their lair. In the rarest instances it crashed into another chunk of almost lair and merges forming into the mass known as The Backrooms. Sort of like the ghost equivalent of the Pacific Garbage Patch only made of chunks of rooms and odd objects.
It is of course the best place that Danny knows to hold ultimate paintball. Just slap a Fenton Tracker™ on everyone so that no one gets too lost.
