I absolutely adore victorian style decorative architecture and every day I think about how that beauty has faded. Modernism and design only for usability is slowly killing beauty and I find that absolutely heartbreaking. I want to walk through beautiful and unique cities, but through the modernisation of the world, it becomes more uniform, uninteresting and grey.
