I used to despise Eridan and think he was the absolute worst character (barring Cronus ig) but you have shown me the light and completely turned my opinion around and now I think he is such an endearing little freak <3 I read your whole blog already but if you've got any more thoughts on eri or anyone else then I hope you post them bc I'd love to hear more abt it!

i have sooo many controversial opinions about the dancestors you have noooooo idea

#always glad to have another person go 'oh eridan's not that bad huh'#like he IS a freak and there is SO MUCH thats wrong with him #but he's supposed to be an antagonist AND sympathetic AND funny AND pathetic AND tragic #like all these things can be true hes just a complex character #same w a lot of them #vriska equius and gamzee all kind of fall into this boat #yes there is a lot thats wrong with them but they are also 13 #let he who was not a shithead at 13 cast the first stone #anyway ive been hesitant about talking about the dancestors because if my eridan opinions are controversial...#but the tl;dr is that almost all of them suck horribly #like collectively they are the worst characters in homestuck and thats on purpose #bc their role in the story is villainous like theyre the reason lord english even exists #if the alternian trolls as a rule are meant to be sympathetic even if they have a lot of problems #then the beforus trolls are like a worst case scenario of 'what if they never address their problems and grow up that way'#theyre the counterpoint to the comics themes of being a kid and growing up #learning to care about each other and become responsible #the beforus trolls are children who never grew up #going through the exact same problems and drama as when they were children #because they never took responsibility for their own actions or their treatment of each other #And That's Terrible

Has a younger brother and younger sister who live at home with his mom

Doesn't have a lot of friends, he hangs out with his ex's (so almost every time he hangs out with someone there's drama)

His nickname for Cory is Macbeth because he knows it freaks Cory out

Don't know if I said this already.

I love how Trolls 3 wasn't afraid of blatantly queer coding their film. It's not every day you see that in a kids' film at theaters. But what I really want to point out is how balanced it was between heroes and villains. Don't lie, Velvet and Veneer are gayer than the pride flag itself. But I never liked it how films would queer code ONLY villains. Many Disney films in the past. But here, Floyd is queer coded as well, and some say Barb is too from the 2nd film. And the 1st film, flipping Mr Dinkles, is gay by canon. 🤣 The yellow worm that's suppose to be a pet but has a career as a therapist. Or G.D being aroace coded, no partner, just baby.

And I love it when films and shows do this. A good example is Nimona, where the heroes are gay/trans/ etc. Would've loved a queer coded villain, though. The Owl House as well. Had a balance of queers on both heroes and villains. Even using the queer coding villain stereotype to its advantage by fooling us that Darius is that stereotypical queer coded villain. Only to be a hero. She-Ra as well.

Can't think of many examples that balance the queer in both ends. Just wanted to say, I ADORE IT when media can do that.

I don't know why but I adore Pomme's determination to save/protect Skeppy, she's such a little warrior and defender of anyone and everyone, Etoiles taught her well~

Meanwhile Dapper is trying to show his other dad his new wasps but protecting Bad will always be top priority, even from Skeppy; it's such a funny contrast between him and Pomme and so fitting 😆

This is my brand new room that I started living in since I moved on January. It has so much privacy that allowed me to work in peace, and had plenty of space to store all of my stuff! 😄

What do you think of my new living space? In my opinion, this feels a lot better than the smaller apartment I used to live back on October 2021. At least I’m enjoying this more than ever! This new home was definitely a fresh new start for my little Trolls to get settled in here, and I think they like it too! 😁💖💙
