Genderswapped Stories Hoods

Hello everyone

I am pretty sure some of you like the idea of genderswapped game hoods because I for sure do. It's somewhat the same experience but also quite different and some ideas may change. Sadly when googling for these I couldn't find many. Either only pleasantview or a whole uberhood.

Some time ago I decided to download said uberhood but I wanted to make it even more complete. You can probably already tell where I'm going with it (probably because of the post title tho). I decided to make genderswapped versions of stories hoods. All except the islands tho because they're built different. I for some reason didn't share them publicly til today so here they are.

I won't post Bitville or Arbor Falls pics because they're unchanged but they're there and also swapped.

At first I made them as subhoods only but later I converted them to main hoods for easier use. I used MTS recreations by Hood Building Group as bases. I edited them a little to be more accurate with the stories games (I play them a lot so I just had to xd).

Biggest change is the fact that some bin families are back in bin and some additional sims are deceased. Four corners is somewhat combination of actual Four Corners and of Freeplay version, because it had Stardusts and Margisons moved in so I used that fact to match their houses.

There are some more minor changes but they're not really important. Most important one is that all of these hoods are genderswapped, have full neighborhood story, all descriptions and stuff. I also added polish translation cuz why not (except neighborhood story cuz I'm unsure how to change the text in there just for one language).

This was made with UC, so it's probably required.

Retro Bodacious Loveseat / "Floral Fantasy" by Plastiqkue From The Sims 2, The Sims 2 Console and The Sims 2: Pets Console for The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4

Just a small conversion to check off the list! The Retro Bodacious Loveseat is from The Sims 2: University. In The Sims 2 console and The Sims 2: Pets console, it was renamed "Floral Fantasty" by Plastiqkue and given an exclusive blue swatch. I figured it was best to combine this conversion and use the PC version. This download includes a recolor for The Sims 2 and a full conversion of the model and Sims 2 PC swatches for The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. It is $450 in the console game, but I went with the PC price.

I positively had to resurrect AU Giorgio to wish my simblr twin and generally amazing person @antiquatedplumbobs a very happy birthday. Of course that means gifting her with her very own Winter Wonderland, complete with her favorite sad boy amidst the snowy seaside ☃️💙🧣

(JACQUI): I know it’s shit but I need to give you some advice: Be fucking careful, you know better than to do shit like this on your own. People are starting to talk.

(LENA): What people?

(LENA): …I’ve gotta find him Jacqui. Mum’s not gonna give up until he’s back, it’s killing her.

(JACQUI): Give Kat your address and she’ll take you home, you’re in no state to drive. I’ll have your car brought back later this morning.

fr how are there NO vampire rpgs that are actually good with cc and a fun story and that don't blow up my computer im losing my mind

@lucidicer's Jo wasn't going to let her shameful exit from the Summers Bachelorette Challenge discourage her from finding love, so we're here to follow her adventures as she tries to find the one You can find the previous bachelorette tag here and Jo's tag here

So this is a makeshift speed dating spin off with Jo I finished in two days, so it's quick and messy, just the way she's want it <3

To start I spawned 10 random female sims and have Jo scope the area to see who she's attracted to. Then I'd make those sims scope the area to see if they're attracted to her and make everyone else leave. I included both queer and straight sims as well as single/taken/married ones for fun.

After she started flirting with a sim I'd keep inviting them to her house for a while and let their relationship naturally progress. When she broke up with someone I repeated the process with new sims.

This will be a lot quicker than my usually gameplay, so no wasting time and taking in the scenery, she's in a hurry! I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you have as much fun reading it <3

Why doesn't the Mushroom Kingdom ever up its security so that Bowser stops making off with Princess Peach? it's like they want Peach to be perpetually kidnapped by Bowser

Probably cuz they’re actually cool with each other, I mean they invite Bowser to Mario Kart and Tennis. Plus Mario Bros 3 was already a stage play, so who’s to say most of the rest aren’t!

Or we go the alternative route, it might be because Mario already is their max security. The mushroom kingdom’s a place full of, well, Toads. Aside from the Bros being op compared to all them, the kingdoms trade mainly lies in construction with focus on pipe-based transportation systems, healthcare services, and by the prevalence of power stars within the kingdom, most likely also energy exports.

However, their military advancements are severely lacking, with the regular Toad guard only being armed with spears, and seemingly only a fraction of Toads capable of using the plentifully growing power items like the fire flower. (My hc is that it takes some skill and strength to properly channel enough fire without burning yourself). Because of that, if they were to upgrade their military, they’d have to do so via alliances and importing.

Only the biggest contributor in developing and producing both military units and technology is none other than the Koopa Kingdom, whose king probably wouldn’t want to give his advanced tools to the princess he’s actively trying to kidnap for good.

Of course, the Mushroom Kingdom can (and does) have alliances with other kingdoms - most noticeably for their military, the Pink Delegation of Bob Ombs - but not only won’t it be enough to fight properly- on top of offensive machinery, the Koopa kingdom‘s the one for powerful sorcery, a lot more versatile and offensive kind of magic than the consumable-based and otherwise mostly making-life-easier mushroom kingdom magic. And to top that off, that Koopa sorcery includes necromancy. Basically, if the Koopa Kingdom decides to invade you, you’re screwed.

But Bowser also got a nice side, doesn’t really care about other kingdoms unless they have something he wants (usually non-heat based energy sources) and mostly only does what he does because he’s got a major crush on Peach. Everyone knows that for all he will inflict on anyone standing in his way, Bowser will never actually bend a single hair on the princess herself.

So the Mushroom Kingdom has two options. They either try to stop Bowser when the Koopa Kingdom invades and inevitably risk every single citizen getting turned into blocks again in the best case…or they just let him do his thing.

Minimum civilian harm, collateral damage usually limited to castle grounds, and most importantly, a big window of time when Bowser will focus his entire army on the stopping of two very overpowered plumbers, therefore leaving the entire rest of the kingdom alone to rebuild the damage and stay undisturbed for the entire duration until his defeat, recovery, and re-stocking of the army.

The Mushroom kingdom is essentially artificially recreating the thing that Hyrule has going on naturally with its reincarnation curse- single guy keeps saving the world from recurring evil with the princess at the center of the conflict in return for guaranteed peace of the kingdom during in-between times.

Or maybe all of them are just really, really, bored and it’s good training for the newby Toad guards who don’t know it’s all in good sport yet.

Thinking about my communal parent au, I’m now imagining an au where Jon is an avatar of the ‘before’ fears, like how there was one entity long ago, and as humans developed new fears appeared or split off.

I know it’s implied that the first fear was the hunt, but imagine a fear that encompasses all the other entities, and Jon as an avatar of that. Since it’s difficult to be an avatar of all encompassing fear, they sort of change over time, going between avatars of different entities but keeping connections with all of them.

Bonus points if they physically change when channelling different entities- webs appearing between his fingers, fog rolling in, butterflies in their ribcage, scorch marks along his arms, curls in his hair. It’s an easy way to see what entity they are today, but Jon is so earnestly interested in the different fears and how they’ve changed and evolved over time and how they and humans interact, the avatars can’t really do anything but help them along, and the humans he interacts with have a certain amount of ‘scary dog privilege’ with their friend having a very nebulous standing in the hierarchy.

Shaking and crying. I just finished Supernatural for the first time. I've watched it to s9 at least twice before but a few weeks ago I decided to start over from the beginning. I'd watch like 3 episodes a night, sometimes 5 throughout the entire day, there's 327! I finally finished it tonight and my eyes are just burning from crying so much. From stuff that happened and just from it being over. I watched Gilmore Girls ywars ago so I've basically watched Jared Padalecki grow up. My depression always spikes a bit when I finish a show, I guess it's the emptiness it leaves behind? I'll maybe finally watching The last of us. I'll miss those boys and so many of the characters I grew to love. Sorry for non sims I'm just in my feels.
