The day of Suzume's first blind date had finally arrived and the person she met was Naoki Ito! During their walk to the restaurant, Suzume tried to engage in his conversations and asked questions about him. Naoki was happy to be given this much attention and felt attached to Suzume already. "He's a bit clingy..." Suzume said in her head then she heard a girl giggle behind them "Otosan?" His kids were there.

She had no idea what was happening to Naoki's marriage, but his kids seemed cheerful about both their parents and she got the impression he was happily married. In the nicest way possible she said it was best to end the date and stay friends (really she wanted to get out of there). And that was how the blind date was over before it even started 🫣

Heyo, I made some Spooky Family doodles for Twitter since I was participating in a Spooky Month Inktober! I didn’t manage to finish it (I never have before-) but I did get some good sketches in. So here they are, and the themes they’re based on! (Some even include l o r e)

“Cult”

So the cultists are actually actively trying to get to Skid and Pump. However, it never works out for them since the spookeez have a ton of monster friends. A cultist with bad intentions getting a bit too close to the boys may result in them being eaten.

Some mysterious dads, what could be spookier? The figure on the right is Pump’s father, not his actual appearance of course, but the design that I’ve chosen to represent him with. I don’t think I want to design what he really looks like, I prefer when he stays mysterious, like Skid’s dad. Plus, I don’t think he deserves a face either.

Well, who other to draw then the two spookiest boys having a spooky time?

akanyatsura (akyr for short if this gets lengthy haha) are a found family who highly values the notion that family's can also be chosen. They work together as a unit to aim to win paradox live. akyr is also a more realistic family dynamic, it shows siblings who bicker but despite everything love eachother, it has more parent figures who would do anything to help their precious family. iori and zen go so far as to hide what could be argued as important informationt to keep the children of the group (hokusai, satsuki and reo) safe. when this truth comes to light, the children are UNDERSTANDING of it and acknowledge that it was done with the interests of protecting them. i could go on for longer but all in all akyr is a found family group who trusts and loves each other despite all that they've been through.

These are the background stories of Giga, Jack, Kiyoshi and Jeb. If you haven’t: Start with -> Jeb’s Story (link leads to chrono)

Still two years ago - Ito Residence The same night Jeb and his friends failed with their rescue and Giga and Jack heard the sirens, Mr Ito got note from the Prescott Lab in Strangerville. Mr Ito is the head of the laboratory and fired the Lab Staff in charge, who left his workplace, immediately. (lol if it wasn’t for him, Jeb and his friends could have successfully rescued Giga and Jack and he got fired for leaving his place...)

His son is 17 now and old enough to fulfill his duty. Since many generations the Ito family proceeds with fervor against supernaturals. Mr Ito even invented the anti magic device!

Mr Ito: “I want you to work at the laboratory together with the new lab staff. Have an eye on her and report anything suspicious to me.” (Mrs Ito is not happy about this, but she would never speak up.)

Kiyoshi: “You will be proud of me, father.”

Ms Ngyen: “You can count on me Mr Ito. We will weed out those creatures from this world.” Mr Ito: “Very well then.”
