One, When I Look In Your Eyes and Can See All the Sky, It's Constellations in View- that shit is telling but not the biggest red flag.

Two, she really said 70's but gayer.

And three, my dear anon, I don't know if we heard the same album but there's absolutely a song that screams Katya to the heavens and beyond. Didn't notice?? Let me tell you.

My opinions aren’t a blessing — they’re simply my thoughts, that’s all

From my interpretation of the songs the ones that stand out to me as Trixya related are:

White Rabbit | Wake Up | Boyfriend

and somewhat related — Who Loves You Baby | Girl Of Your Dreams

White Rabbit

This song got me gal. Before I even picked up the T & K of it all it had me in tears. It’s one of those songs that Trixie put so much emotion into & you can feel it

well promises are promises, but they’ve been getting farther between

I knew when you walked in you’d leave it where we started

the whole where you going // come around part

you keep on teasing that you’re breathing just to please everyone

one will make you taller but the other makes you shrink down to size

the faster you see the truth can make you take your time

There’s an obvious connection between the Alice in Wonderland references & the White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane reference that pins down the influence of a certain time period for a lot of the lyrics

Overall, this comes across to me as not only reflecting on that time, but a way of processing through some of it. And a bit of the before & after

Leaving it where we started seems like getting that connection back once things settled down. The faster you can see the truth is getting through that patch, take your time is that aftermath — & a call back to Soldier not only in the lyric, but in that the White Rabbit is associated with anxiety & Trixie had mentioned dealing with anxiety as one of the inspirations for Soldier

Alice chasing the White Rabbit / the lyrics where you going / the lyrics saying come around — it’s very Trixie wanting contact with & missing Katya back then. And kind of now too, wishing to spend more time with Katya

I think this song is the one that will continue to be talked about the most from this album when it comes to Trixie songs about Katya — whether she acknowledges it like Soldier or not

Wake Up

we’ve been here once before haven’t we babe, we turned to ash & crashed with the sea waves, my heart is never broken just broke in

This makes me think of 2017/2018 T & K. Especially my heart is never broken just broke in — I feel like that’s a nod to how resilient Trixie was & how she really wanted to move on instead of what she considered to be dwelling on things

Boyfriend

Lyrically there’s a lot here. Wanting someone to be your boyfriend so you can sleep in, so you can move closer, so you can put your head on their shoulder. Katya is all about Trixie taking it easy & relaxing; Katya is a comfort for Trixie

We’ve all clocked the line about the person’s eyes: when I look in your eyes I can see all the sky’s constellations in view

when the moment is right I’ll be there by your side — timing has always been a thing with them

Who Loves You Baby

This one tbh is the lowest on my list for being related, but from the way you looked at me, something’s begun; anyone from the outside looking in can tell you it’s over & done; tell me, who loves you baby stood out to me

Girl Of Your Dreams

This comes across to me for the most part that Trixie is supposed to be the girl of your dreams. And this following line could potentially be seen as being about Katya — could subconsciously be intended to be about Katya — but I actually think it very much applies to Trixie herself

so maybe you’ve been burned before, but baby will you ever know if you never go go go

It’s very having to push past your fears, which I do think applies to both of them overall but I associate more with Trixie

Wake Up: tell me where you go when you sleep what you see when you dream // we’re just dreaming

Girl Of Your Dreams: when you sleep at night you’ll see the girl of your dreams

Boyfriend: cuz if you were my boyfriend we could stop dreaming

Wake Up & Girl Of Your Dreams also have this similar theme — we turned to ash // so maybe you’ve been burned before

I think timing also comes into play with this trio of songs. It goes from we’ve been here before & maybe you’ve been burned before to when the moment is right I’ll be there by your side

#just my thoughts on these songs #it’s all up for interpretation #but there’s no denying this is an incredibly solid album #but your dad just calls me katya #oh honeyyyyy #kimmy answers #the blonde & the pink albums #trixya
