TEKKEN 7 - Geese Howard Reveal Trailer PS4, XB1, PC
How do you get Geese Howard in Tekken 7? In order to unlock Geese Howard, you need to buy the special Tekken 7 Season Pass 2, which grants access to the game's first three content packs. Also, you can buy only Geese on Steam. How old is Geese Howard Tekken 7? An early version of Tekken 7's Steam Page, shortly after Geese's arrival, mistakenly stated that he came from the Fatal Frame series (a ghost horror game developed by Koei Tecmo which currently co-own it with Nintendo). According to his KOF profiles, his birthday is January 21st, 1953. What scares geese? Flags, eyespot balloons and Mylar tape. Floating alligator heads and dead goose decoys. Fake owls and snakes, scarecrows or other effigies, especially ones that don't move. Coyote and other canine effigies or cutouts, with one possible exception.

Tekken — Random thoughts
Tumblr media
Okay, but Nina and Jin in Tekken 6? I simply love them. Tekken 6 gave (not just me but some other people too) the foundation for an amazing ship.
A respectful relationship that started with work, and the Scenario Campaign showed their closeness and confidence, without losing their professionalism and focus on Jin's goal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Story-wise, Tekken 6 is… interesting, to say the least. I don't know, I still have mixed feelings about the direction they gave Jin's development and what he was like since Tekken 3.
I can't say that I like that in Tekken 6 he became a war criminal and did such aberrations, when Azazel's problem could have been addressed in another way; because actually, I don't like it at all.
But on the other hand, I don't totally hate the concept itself. I just find it a little hard to digest.
What I can save (or at least try to) is that, from a personal opinion, I don't think he did it because it's the destiny of bearers of Mishima blood to be corrupted. Because, in fact, I don't think Jin was corrupted by having Mishima blood or by the influence of the Devil Gene.
I think he did everything out of his conscience. A twisted, fucked up and terrible way of doing things, but by conscience at the end. Because if we go to the fact, he always struggled and fought against the influence of the curse, and tried to keep it at bay as much as he could (in despite of his T3 and T4 endings, in T5 vs. Hwoarang, in T7 in the desert)… well, in the end of Scenario Campaign we could see how Jin consciously used the power of the Devil Gene (without turning into Devil) to defeat Azazel.
It's a bummer that they "ruined" Jin like that, but it was an interesting chapter in Tekken history.
Anyway, before starting to wander more than necessary… I know that Tekken: Blood Vengeance and the Tekken Comic by Titan Comics aren't canon either, but Nina and Jin roles in each one are a good addition for this dreamy ship (especially in the comics).
Tumblr media
And no, my point isn't that the base of the ship has to be that the woman has to do the whole work and being his support 24/7 (a thing that usually happens in the Japanese culture: the female character being just a bland sidekick with no depth and the protagonist's love interest; just as in mostly of shonens, for example), or because it's just the job she was hired for… But because both of them could relate to each other: both suffering child abuse from a close family member, both having family members they dislike, both having lost a family member they loved, both having suffered and survived Ogre's attack, and both having a mostly lonely path in life… because they know they're not the best company and their methods are very questionable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Feelings aren't part of their lifestyle and not allowing themselves to open their hearts (because having feelings means their goals be compromised), is a fact. And it's a fact that a ship like this will never happen in canon, yet I always loved their genuine mutual trust and respect. It's far away from the Japanese culture's typical cliché of the badass lonely boy and the cute submissive girl who has a huge crush on him, is ghosted during most of the series and wants to "save" him but just meddles, resulting annoying most of times. It reminds me to someone… Wait!!
Alright, speaking more seriously now… Tekken 6 turned 14 years some days ago (especifically for PS3 and XBox, on October 30th), and this was a good opportunity to talk about an underestimated and unapreciated OTP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm very intrigued about what's going to happen in Tekken 8, and the path of both of them when Bamco already revealed the roster's bios. Nina working for Kazuya doesn't make sense if we take into account her relationship with Jin during Tekken 6, the fact that she failed on purpose for Lars and Lee to protect Jin from Heihachi and... taking as bonus the non-canonical comics and BV.
Possibly developers will take the path of Street Fighter x Tekken's story? Nina working with Kazuya but undercover, for Jin's instructions? Because no one can deny how amazing was Jin trusting someone since the beginning, spending time with that someone and being able to share thoughts... even if it's just professionaly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
P.s.: I feel the luckiest guy alive, since I have the privilege of writing this wonderful ship on Twitter... I mean, X. My dearest friend @carade0jete and I roleplay as Nina and Jin, respectively, since almost five years. An amazing journey that still goes on and will last until that app is either ruined or closed by El*n M*sk. Love you, bb. ♥️✨

TEKKEN 8 – Reveal Trailer
TEKKEN 8 is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.

First details via PlayStation Blog:
Hi, this is Harada, chief producer of the Tekken project. We have kept you waiting for a long time, but we are finally able to announce that Tekken 8 is in production. Have you seen the first trailer yet?
This trailer was actually taken directly from a certain part in the current work-in-progress Tekken 8‘s story mode, played on PlayStation 5. In other words, all the character models, backgrounds, and effects are the same ones that are used in-game. Although this was captured from the story mode, it is not a pre-rendered movie made for the trailer but rather real-time rendered footage, running at 60 frames per second, similar to how you would experience the game in versus battle modes. (Of course, some of the effects, dialogue as well as the camera angle is currently being updated and may change when the game launches)
The Tekken series has always been known for the dramatic pre-rendered movies from its story mode. And in addition, we also have plenty of other exciting content from Tekken 8 we would very much like to show you. However, for our first announcement, we chose to focus on the content that showcases the quality of this game on PlayStation 5.
In the trailer, you can see this level of quality in the newly created playable character models that completely sets itself apart from the current Tekken 7, and in little details like how water droplets run down the character’s skin. This is not footage created solely for trailer purposes, but an actual real-time rendering of what is happening on the game screen.
Also, if you pay attention to the background during the battle, you can see dynamic waves and tornadoes, a huge tanker gradually breaking apart, storm rendering so realistic that you can feel the wind pressure, the density of the rain.
These are all battle stage effects to be used in this title. We are of course working hard to enhance the quality even further. In the latest version of the work-in-progress build, the quality is dynamically improving each day, with the giant tanker moving closer to the shore in the background and large flames flare up near where the character is standing. We hope you look forward to seeing them in-game!
Also, the Tekken series holds the record of being the longest-running story in a video game. Just as the ending dialogue of Tekken 7 mentioned, this new entry will focus on the father and son showdown between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. As for the meaning of the scene in the trailer and how significant it is to the main story… we look forward to you finding it out when the game releases.
However, the game is still in development, so I’m afraid we will have to ask you to wait a little longer.
The entire development team is working hard to make this title worth the wait so thank you so much for your support.

Did I ever talk about my love for Tekken? There was this post about games you played for more than 300 hours, and after GTA VC and LCS... it would definitely be Tekken 5 and 6 for me.
Anyway, my Tekken brainrot laid dormant deep inside of me for most of my teenage years and early adulthood. To be honest I entirely skipped Tekken 7 due to its performance on my PC at the time and its reliance on DLCs. I did manage to beat Tekken 4 in 2023 (the only one I've been missing until 7, but I quickly went back to not thinking about the franchise at all. That was the case until Tekken 8 demo dropped.
I downloaded it and played for a bit, not understanding what's going on story-wise at all, but instantly falling in love with its fluid 4k60 gameplay and new Nina design (she was always my main after all). It made me hungry for more Tekken and when I was talking about it with my s/o, I just had to check whether Tekken 7 finally received a 60fps patch on Xbox Series X. It didn't, but I ended up buying it anyway to satisfy my hunger for the franchise.
Played it a bit, finished the story and overall I had fun with it. I wasn't really satisfied with the story mode, but the gameplay was pleasant enough. I liked some of the new characters and overall it felt like a fulfilling return to the brainrot. That's what I thought before finding out that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is backwards compatible on Series X.
I ordered a physical copy and instantly got hyped. I wanted to play it since its release but it costed so much at the time... and after some time I forgot about it, probably due to GTA V coming out. Flash forward a few days, I received my copy and ran back to my house to play as much as I can before my night shift starts.
You gotta understand - it was and still is the ultimate Tekken game for me, mostly due to how many characters it has. I played every mainline Tekken game (and Tag Tournament) before playing TTT2 and to play as Jun, Michelle, Violet, Ogre and Kunimitsu in one game meant a lot to me - I really appreciate OG Tekken characters, even though Tekken 3 and 5 are my favorite entries. If I was to talk here about how much grind in Tekken 5/6 I endured to make certain characters look like the OGs, this post would end up being insufferably long.
Many story-based games take up all my time and attention but I'm still playing it and I'm really close to getting all the endings. I set most levels to have my favorite tracks form older Tekken games and I'm especially enjoying my time with Jun, Kunimitsu and Michelle.
Now that fighting games are one of the most anti-consumer genres in modern gaming, a few years will pass before I'll get Tekken 8. I'd have to spend $100+ on ultimate edition, only to wait years for all of its content to arrive anyway. And since a month after its release they started introducing shops and battle passes, my enthusiasm got tempered even more.
But I'm so happy to be back and Tekken 7 and Tag Tournament 2 (and the older ones) will do it for now! Especially TTT2, it's really a blast!

Tekken 8 initial impressions
It's wonderful! Game feels good to play; new combo routes are fun, heat is interesting! It's enough like previous games that it's very familiar but there are new mechanics and new characters. We've got a lot of stuff to learn!
If you are new but interested, get in there! There will be about one zillion people playing (about 46K on Steam, *right now*, plus XBox and PSN) and everybody is learning together, and the in-game learning tools are way better than they've ever been.
I'm really excited to dig into this and keep learning and playing.
Also. The game is *beautiful*. It is so pretty. They did such a good job on the character models, and the new animations are gorgeous. Look at, eg, Yoshimitsu's new running 3 (the running jump kick, he glides a little bit!), or all of Devil Jin's new animations (his df1 and ws2 look *unhinged*, just super demonic), or everything King does, or...
Everything loads in *so fast*. Load times are astoundingly quick, especially compared with Tekken 7; rematches are basically instant.
Great music too, and there's the Jukebox mode so you can customize it, and it comes with tracks from basically every previous Tekken game. Except for the Snoop Dogg song from TTT2, tragically. That one is not included :-(
The netplay was initially busted, like for the first 12 hours, but it seems like they've fixed it, and it's really good. I played a few ranked matches when I woke up this morning, and then sparred with a friend on a different continent! California vs Poland! it worked great! There's a cute chibi-avatar system that you can use too, and you can run around in a little virtual arcade. It's very charming. Big hoorays all around. I think, and I realize this is going to be a shock to long-time readers of this blog -- I think you should play Tekken if you're at all interested in playing Tekken, and Tekken 8 is a wonderful Tekken.

The upgraded version has improved visuals, quicker loading times, a DualSense connection, voice explanations, a speedrun mode, and audio commentary. New playable modes include Guitar Free Play, Lost Levels, and No Return, a roguelike survival mode with unpredictable combat situations. Each run has five encounters and a boss battle, with each one consisting of four different gameplay styles. Upgrades, goods, and weapons obtained throughout runs are lost upon finish or failure.
5. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a 2.5D game featuring Sargon, a protagonist with various abilities like jumping, sliding, and air dash. He employs swords, Athra’s Glow, time-based capabilities, and talismans to fight adversaries and improve his abilities. The game also includes wall scaling and rope swinging for environmental navigation, as well as additional outfits. The game will be released on PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.
9. Rise of the Ronin

Players may visit historic towns such as Yokohama, Kyoto, and Edo and travel in numerous ways. The game has three levels of difficulty and an online multiplayer feature. It will be launched on March 22, 2024, on PlayStation 5.
10. Pacific Drive
Pacific Drive is a survival game set in the Pacific Northwest in which players must negotiate metal creatures that cling onto their vehicles. Ironwood Studios created the game, which is distributed by Kepler Interactive, and it takes place in the first person. Players may repair and customize their cars. Developed in 2019, it was unveiled in September 2022 and published on February 22, 2024, with strong reviews for its mood, characters, and vehicle design but criticism for its repeated and difficult gameplay.

Games Played in 2022
New year, new list of games I played LAST year! Once again I’m honestly pretty embarrassed by how much I bought this year. This was another year where I was very stressed out, particularly by work. And so I took a lot of commission and work breaks, then got more stressed, then stress bought more games. And what I’m getting at is that I started 2023 pretty fucking broke. But A) I’m about to be more broke cause I haven’t bought anything from the Steam Winter Sale and B) That just means I need to reopen commissions and work SUPER hard to get enough money to spend crazy amounts again.
For context, when I buy like a bajillion games at once it is me taking advantage of sales. So I’m not like, spending $60 on each of these games individually. Regardless, you can see the list under the readmore!
Key
Present - Game was given to me by someone else
Gift - I gave the game to someone else, but I can still play that copy
Free - I got the game for free
Preorder - I preordered it, obviously
And as always I only put games on here that I played for the first time or had the intention of beating for the first time or reached a big milestone in for the first time. I won’t include Mario Kart 8 for example, I played it a lot this year. But I played it a lot last year too.

And there you have it! Everything I played throughout the year. I’m sure it’s missing some stuff but it’s good enough for me. Now you all can see the weird shit I spent actual money on like Duck Quacky. I know I’m like the only person who shares the lists of games they play but I write these every year because I will genuinely forget everything I played if I don’t, and I figure it’s just a fun extra thing to share at the end of the year. Please don’t judge my monetary decisions too much. I swear I’m feeding my family too! You gotta believe me!
As for this year? I’m hoping to spend less on games in 2023, which seems to be an impossible goal for me. It would be easier if games stopped going on sale for so cheap all the time. Maybe I need to get an even more expensive hobby so I can’t afford to buy anything for it (ha). But also there are a lot of games I own that I’m planning on playing this year. Obviously I want to continue chipping through my steam and itchio games. I want to continue my playthroughs of all mainline Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Dragon Quest, and Tales of games. But there’s some new stuff I also have my mind on this year. Classic Megaman, God of War, I’d like to make some time to play Enchanted Arms and Legend of Kay. And in general I’d like to play a lot more BIG games if possible. Games with bigger stories that are larger RPGs. I played a lot of RPGs this year but a lot of them were smaller or older. I’d like to play some meater RPGs this year.
That’s that for this year, here’s to another wonderful year full of video games and good times and money for everyone! Happy New Years and stay safe, y’all!

After the latest Tekken game which is released in 2015, the players and the fans of the series started to ask the question “Will there be a Tekken 8?”.The latest game of the series, Tekken 7, was a great success. The latest game of the series, published on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, received an average score of 82 over Metacritic, approaching the success of the series’s favorite game, Tekken 3. Some of the players who follow the series also follow the same type of game, Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat’s last game did not get good grades from the players, although received good grades from critics, and the eyes turned to the Tekken side. Will the game series, especially loved by console players, come to light with a new game after the release of Mortal Kombat 11?1 Will there be a new Tekken game “Tekken 8”?1.1 Is the game Tekken 8 officially confirmed?2 What will be the storyline of Tekken 8?3 When will Tekken 8 come out?3.1 What platforms will Tekken 8 be on?3.2 Is there a released Tekken 8 trailer so far?3.3 Who are the characters on Tekken 8?3.3.1 Will Heihachi return on Tekken 8?Will there be a new Tekken game “Tekken 8”?There will of course be a new Tekken game in the future. The creators of Tekken will not leave their “Tekken” rights behind and will release the Tekken 8 game, some rumors that the game has started to be developed.Although the developer company avoids questions about Tekken 8, the developer of the game, Katsuhiro Harada, stated in the following tweet that he is in the plans for the future of the series last April.Katsuhiro Harada:“Since I can no longer fly around the world, I have time to write a new title planning sheet & design document. Of course I’m also thinking about what to do with the new plan of “TEKKEN World Tour” and TEKKEN Series with many staff.”Related TweetIs the game Tekken 8 officially confirmed?Everything is just a rumor right now, nothing about the game has been officially confirmed. Perhaps the next game maybe Tekken 3 Remake.Tekken players tasted the impressive story as well as the action of the game. The dramatic story of Tekken will continue in the 8th game of the series. What will be the storyline of Tekken 8?As there is no clue about the game yet, what we have to say now is only guesses. In the new game, perhaps we can see that the secret curtains in the game have disappeared. We can testify that Asuka learned about the connection between Jin and Jun. Ling may learn that Jin has a demon inside him and we can see how she reacts to this. The devil genes things may end before the players are bored. In addition to unraveling the secrets in the game, we can also see changes in the game’s storytelling technique, because the storytelling technique in the old Tekken games is liked more than the players rather than the storytelling technique of the 7th game. When will Tekken 8 come out?Due to the fact that there is no official explanation and study news about the game, we cannot give a clear date, but when we evaluate the gap between the release dates of the main games, we can see a new Tekken game until 2022. Against to some predictions, we do not think that the game will be released in 2021 with the delays caused by the pandemic all over the world and we can see Tekken 8 towards the middle of 2022.What platforms will Tekken 8 be on?We can not share an official detail about the game yet, but we can make some predictions when we look before the series. The game also released on the PC platform with the 7th game. We also think that with the release of new consoles, Tekken 8 will debut on Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, Xbox, Playstation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms.1994TekkenPlayStation1995Tekken 21997Tekken 31999Tekken Tag TournamenPlayStation 22001Tekken 42004Tekken 52005Tekken: Dark ResurrectionPlayStation Portable2007Tekken 6PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 3602011Tekken Tag Tournament 2PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U2015Tekken 7PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows2022(?)Tekken 8(?)PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch (?)Is there a released Tekken 8 trailer so far?The creators did not confirm any news about the game so far. although there are some fan-made trailers available on YouTube, there is no official game trailer for now.Who are the characters on Tekken 8?Veteran characters like Hwoarang, Asuka Kazama, Jun, Lili, Josie, Katarina, Lars, Alisa, Nina, Steve, Miguel, Bryan, Leo, Bob, Julia/Jaycee, Paul, Marshall Law, Feng, Master Raven, Dragunov, Devil Jin, Yoshimitsu, Eddy, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, King, Claudio, Kuma & Panda, Lee & Violent, will most likely be in the upcoming Tekken game. Also, newbie characters are expected to be in the game. Will Heihachi return on Tekken 8?Some rumors that Heihachi will return with the new game. This possibility is likely to happen, but it is not yet clear how. Of course, it is worth noting that everything is a guess at the moment.
