JYL Records' Debuts New Girl Group 'TWIST' With 'Attention' and 'Wow Thing (September 1, 2016)
JYL Records’ new girl group created by Jiyeon Lee has made their highly-anticipated debut!
In 2010, Jiyeon Lee, former creative director and writer for JYP Entertainment, established an independent label named solely after her, JYL Records. JYL Records have been preparing for their first group under the label for six long-awaited years, and the debut is finally here!
TWIST made their debut under the release of a single album, consisting of three tracks. Two of which are double title tracks “Attention” and “Wow Thing”.
The group already has noteworthy credits under their belt, as both title tracks were written and produced by the members themselves! “Attention” was produced and written by members Chaeyoung and Hyerim, whilst “Wow Thing” was similarly produced by Chaeyoung and Hyerim, and written by Mina.

au of an au for qin su!wwx where wwx is still in qin su's body but it's JYL who gets summoned back in MXY's body.
Jiang Yanli doesn’t know what she was expecting to happen after she died, but it certainly wasn’t waking up a few minutes later in a donkey shed with blood all over her robes.
She’d been stabbed, she remembers. Perhaps they put her in the first sheltered place they could find while the battle was still going on, and somehow missed the fact that she was still alive? Yanli reaches up to her chest and tries to feel her heartbeat; she is somehow very certain that she had died, since the look on A-Xian’s face when the sword went through her chest was--
But the memory remains unfinished, because Yanli’s hands are poking at her bosom, patting over her ribs one by one as she wonders when she became so thin. Her mother always complained about her narrow figure, even as she scolded her for eating so much when she was in her teens--and Madam Jin worried about how difficult childbirth might be before Jin Ling arrived, since her waist and hips were so skinny--but her breasts were never this flat, and her ribs never stuck out this much even when she was a child.
And then her fingers brush over the rounded lump at her throat, and reveal the truth in one devastating blow that brings Yanli to her knees.
This isn’t my body, she realizes, backing away from the bloody array on the ground and into the rickety cupboard standing against the wall. This is a man’s body.
___
Less than two hours after she wakes, Yanli escapes from the Mo estate in such turmoil that she almost forgets to take the donkey with her.
Keep your wits about you, she berates herself, dressing herself in the only set of spare robes she could find before squirming out of the shed’s high window and crumpling into the dust outside. Mo Xuanyu meant to bring back A-Xian, but that means that A-Xian is...
She blinks back tears, dragging the donkey down the road behind her as she reads over Mo Xuanyu’s letter again. The poor boy had been one of Jin Guangshan’s illegitimate sons, Jiang Yanli’s own xiaoshuzi, and Jin Guangyao had exiled him because he had learned the truth about Qin Su being his younger half-sister.
He was behind your death, too, the letter said. I believe he might even have organized Jin Zixuan’s assassination, since he most likely murdered our father, as well.
Jiang Yanli grits her teeth and pushes on. The single long cut in her arm throbs--a cut that will heal only when Jin Guangyao dies, according to Mo Xuanyu--but the sting is nothing to the twenty hours of sheer agony that was giving birth to Jin Ling, who turned out so big and chubby that she spent the first few hours of his life wondering how such an enormous baby could have possibly fit inside her.
How old would A-Ling be now? she wonders. Did Jin Guangyao and Qin Su bring him up, in mine and Zixuan’s place?
Oddly enough, she doesn’t find herself shying away at the thought of bringing Jin Guangyao to justice. She can probably count on Nie Mingjue to do the actual killing, if it comes to it; there was bad blood between the two even before she and her husband died, and quite frankly, she doesn’t blame Nie Mingjue for it.
A-Xian tore the men who killed the Jiang shidis and shimeis limb from limb, and she would expect no less from a man who watched Jin Guangyao kill his brothers-in-arms right before his eyes.
But then, why did they swear brotherhood after that?
It must have been for Zewu-jun’s sake, Yanli thinks wearily, when she finally stops at a river crossing and leads her donkey down onto the pebbly beach to take a drink. Though I doubt that Zewu-jun could have sworn brotherhood with anyone who had Lan blood on their hands, whether he owed them a life-debt or not.
Her stomach growls, and she searches in the donkey’s saddle-bag for something to eat just in case the owners of the Mo estate had left some bread or fruit there to coax the animal with. Her brief hunt yields a pair of shriveling apples, half-dried but not yet spoiled, so she washes down the fresher one with plenty of cold water and feeds the bigger, drier apple to the donkey.
“I think I’ll call you Apple,” she laughs, as it wolfs down the fruit before sticking its muzzle back into the bubbling stream. “Do you like your name, xiao-pingguo?”
Little Apple takes to the name well enough, and brays contentedly every time she calls it. They rest together by the river for an hour, with Yanli napping in the shade with Little Apple keeping guard; and she starts off again just after noon, hoping to find a main road that might direct her to a town and then towards the nearest cultivation sect.
Jiang Yanli has to admit that Yunmeng Jiang is out of the question: because as much as she loves her younger brother, she highly doubts that he won’t do something stupid if he thinks some nameless Jin exile is pretending to be her. And she certainly can’t go back to Lanling with Jin Guangyao still there, so her quarry will have to be the Gusu Lan clan. Hanguang-jun was friends with her A-Xian, and would surely hear her out for his sake if for nothing else; and Zewu-jun is not as hot-tempered as Chifeng-zun, meaning that Yanli will come to no harm even if Lan-zongzhu doesn’t believe her.
“Xiao-Pingguo,” Yanli begins, stepping over something silvery in the grass as the two of them head deeper into the woods, “how far do you think the--”
Suddenly, her legs go out from under her. Little Apple brays and backs away in alarm, tossing his head anxiously as Yanli struggles into a sitting position and tries to make sense of the fact that her donkey is now over ten feet below her.
“What on earth?” she mutters, biting back one of A-Xian’s favorite curse words as she takes stock of her current situation: trapped inside a net swaying far above the ground, and with no means of cutting her way free from it without breaking her own neck.
“It caught something!” Yanli hears a boyish voice shout, followed by the crackling of someone rushing through the forest and the twang of a drawn bowstring. “Duck, Yu-da-shixiong! I’m going to shoot!”
“You are going to do no such thing,” someone else drawls, with a hint of a sharp Northern accent that reminds her of her late mother. “At least see what you’ve caught, you onionhead. If your stupid nets managed to catch a Lan, you’ll have Chifeng-zun and Hanguang-jun dragging you to Jin-zongzhu for punishment. Chifeng-zun might even punish you himself, since he’s Jin-zongzhu’s sworn da-ge. Do you really want to take the risk?”
“No,” the first boy grumbles. “And anyway, it looks like it’s just--you!”
The sudden dislike in his voice makes Yanli look down, startled, and then the breath flies out of her body as the Jin disciple marches up to stand beneath her.
“Jin Ling?” she asks, her own voice cracking like shattered glass as the Jiang disciple mounts his sword and flies up towards her, presumably so that he can help her climb out of the net. “A-Ling--is it you?”

MDZS x FF10 AU. HIT ME! ₍₍◞(ಠ益ಠ)◟₎₎ *screams this as I do the Boogie*
*throws hula hoop on self**hula hoop drops*MDZS x FF10 AUOkay, I know some fellow MDZS writers been doing this AU but let’s give it a shot! Not an exact copy of FFX/X-2 so pardon me if its not what you expect. And a skewed timeline because my goldfish brain don’t remember the exact timeline. With actual MDZS universe locations of course.-Zanarkand = Lotus Pier-Mt Gagazet = Yiling-Bevelle = Lanling Jin-Macalania = Gusu (fight me.Macalania Woods yo.Cold Spring yes Y E S?)-Guadosalam = Qishan (sacked. Also the resting place of souls)-Djose = Qinghe Nie-Besaid Island = Dafan Shan *Note: Part Reincarnation AU-Replacing Auron’s scene is difficult, but I’m sticking to MXY for two reasons.MXY brings WWX out of the dream. And is also the ones who knows the truth of the final Aeons. So here, we have an OP magic user instead of a warrior. Where in a moment of reality distortion in form of a tsunami and a dark monster, MXY grabs a 15 year old WWX and tells him no one can’t dream forever, and the world needs his help before the tsunami hits them.-So we have a young WWX who gets washed up on the shores near Dafan Shan where he sees in the water looking like MXY. With 2 boys beside him.Apparently they thought he was drowning. ( WWX : I can swim damn well TYVM! ) Confused, he wanders up the shores to with the two warriors LJY and LSZ. He learns that they are here on Dafan Shan accompanying their summoner on a pilgrimage to stop the Stygian Demon that has terrorised everyone for years.( I’m so original hur.No.)The great sects have produced summoners for years, dedicated to stopping demonic spirits and go on pilgrimage to save people.Recent years have seen summoners dying before they can stop the Stygian Demon, a mindless fiend that was once a dark summoner’s lost Dark Aeon, which he used to stop Qishan Wen summoners in the Summoners War.-LSZ tells WWX they are waiting for their summoner to receive the Aeon’s blessing.Where they suddenly find a bunch of fiends attacking the village. The 3 of them do their best to fend off the fiends. One of which is WN, the unsent turned wild Aeon, the ghost general. Before a guqin sound echoes and clears the village of evil with a dragon looking Aeon beside him.-Let us welcome the man who always brings his own BGM into the scene.-WWX is surprised to see the face of his ( ex-husband *gets smacked* ) old acquaintance. That LWJ is the summoner who have decided to go meet his death by going to destroy the Stygian Demon. He doesn’t really remember much, but he just wants to go back to Lotus Pier. And that MXY must have brought him back to stop the Stygian Demon. So young thoughtless WWX ( whom LJY suspects and declares he has head trauma, because Lotus Pier is nothing but ruins. ) decides to join them and this older man with LWJ’s face on their pilgrimage.-While collecting Aeons, fending off attacks by people who don’t support the sects, Jinling and his guardian, tiny Fairy, trying to prove themselves.WN appears occasionally to attack the party.A wild purple man, Sect Leader Jiang who just has issues with LWJ and WWX. Sect leader Jiang is suspicious of WWX.- On the way to Qinghe, NHS asks of them if they find the unsent of NMJ to let him know.-In Qishan, they find out from the unsent soul of one angry NMJ that something is wrong with Lanling Jin-Along the way, they head to a ceremonial party by Lanling Jin.They find out that Lanling Jin was the one sending summoners to die, in hopes to control the Stygian Demon.JGY reveal that WWX is actually the soul of the dark summoner from 1000 years ago ( yes LWJ waited that long, fight me ) who made the Stygian Demon Aeon after they dispelled the appearance MXY had given WWX.JGY says they have been suspicious since WWX’s appearance had summoned the Wen fiend WN, at Lanling. They suspect WN wanting to rejoin his old master.-WWX goes into shock, and pieces of memories coming to him that aren’t his own? However, LWJ holds onto him saying he believes WWX regardless. The party flees with the aid of Jin Ling who says, even if he feels a certain hate towards WWX,he feels WWX is not as everyone says he is. WN finds the party and they realise WN was just trying to stop them from coming near Lanling. Jin Ling then joins their party officially.-They flee to Gusu, where LWJ and WWX share a kiss and a moment.LWJ says WWX reminds him of a precious memory that he holds dear ever since he was born.-They know something isn’t right and they will stop JGY from taking the Dark Aeon.Although LXC still refuses to fully believe JGY is sending people to die for his own plans. LXC joins them towards the ruins of Lotus Pier.-Before Lotus Pier, they pass through Yiling, where Yunmeng Jiang had relocated for years, awaiting summoners and ultimately, for the return of WWX the dark High Summoner.-JC has long been plagued by dreams and memories of a lost family and a fallen brother. Now that WWX in his true 15 year old appearance has triggered him and the two clash but not before LWJ steps in to protect WWX.WN appears and clashes with JC, and the unsent Aeon who have regained consciousness reveals to JC that 1000 years ago, he would have died in the Summoners War with Qishan if not for WWX.-A loud rumble tells them that they are running out of time and either JGY gets them first of the Stygian Demon will destroy the world.- Here, WWX sees the Fayth, the dreaming Wen remnants. He remembers. As MXY said, he needs to end this dream. No one can dream forever.- At the ruins of Lotus Pier, LWJ heads in to receive the final Aeon but WWX stops him.He refuses to let LWJ die. There, they find the unsent soul of JYL guarding the place, the Dream Lotus Pier. ( Yes I made JYL Yunalesca ) WWX finally breaks down when he sees JYL who is trapped in the dream he has made, but at the same time this is just a memory of JYL corrupted by years of unsent summoners.-After defeating JYL’s memory…WWX regains his true Yiling Patriarch form. While they needed to find another way to defeat the Dark Aeon the party gets captured by Lanling Jin who takes them up and into the Stygian Demon’s core.-LSZ,LJY, JL,JC holds off the army while LXC defeats his corrupted sworn brother with the unsent of NMJ who has become an Aeon. They are afterall in the core where unsent souls gather.-WWX and LWJ heads in deeper into the dream where with the aid of the unsent and Aeons, they defeat the Stygian Demon and disperses the Fayth.-With the Fayth gone, the dream ends and as an unsent himself, WWX gets ready to send himself along with souls. He gets stopped by LWJ who refuses to let him go. -Turns out 1000 years ago, WWX made the Fayth, the dream,in his grief and despair that ended up consumed and guarded by the Stygian Demon. Along with that, the memories of those who know him will remain and always be attached to the souls that remain each time they are reborn. As long as they dream and remember, WWX and his dream will exist. Now that the cycle has stopped, once they die, WWX’s memory too will fade forever.-LWJ as stubborn and tells WWX he refuses to forget and to let his beloved disappear again. He couldn’t protect him 1000 years ago when the Sects wanted him dead when he lost control of his power and Aeons. He started this pilgrimage (and to die) not just to save the commonfolk but because he want to find him.-WWX tells LWJ rather than to die, to live for him instead. He reaches up and kisses High Summoner Hanguang Jun for the last time and fades into a million pyreflies. Someday they will meet again in a dream.-LWJ keeps his promise and quietly sings their song each night, with every sending he does.Wishing.Hoping.Waiting.-13 years later, someone sings in reply.IM TIRED OF TYPING. BUT I AM MAKING GOOD USE OF MY WORKING HOURS QAQ

Mortar and Pestle [Part 1]
A small schooner rested in the harbour. Along the side blazed the words “The Wayfarer,” weathered and battered from the ocean currents and sea salt. The last remnants of recently scraped-off barnacles dotted the bottom of the hull in insignificant grey specks. Wooden piers surrounded the boat, running along in an open grid. The planks were painted white, albeit slightly faded from exposure to the elements. The rain stripped off the sealer years ago, and now, tiny little flakes fluttered on the walkways, holding on to whatever they could before flying away in the wind like little paint-chip butterflies.
The wind was particularly chilly for that time of year; the onset of Slysiye usually meant a sudden surge of heat, but not that year. The 13th had arrived, and Slysiye was late. It happened every so often, so no one was particularly surprised. Just inconvenienced.
The water rocked against the piers. The Wayfarer, though tied, still rocked and bobbed in its tiny spot in the harbour.
A distant lighthouse kept vigil over the pier. Solid blue with a beckoning yellow eye, it watched all those along the coast. It was the pride and joy of the island, one of the tallest lighthouses on that side of the Band.
The Elcri Ocean was particularly calm for this time of year. The coastline dipped and ducked, but further out was static and calm. The residents called it Stasis. A fitting name, as the ocean looked to have had stopped entirely. It was a flat sheet of water, as far as the eye could see. Not even ripples could be seen.
The sun was beginning to rise, bringing with it the warmth of day. Within the hour the water would heat up, and the fish would come back out for the day. The reef would bloom, and Stasis would break as the currents took hold. It was a beautiful thing to witness.
A group of people came out from one of the cabins. They were chuckling and guffawing, some with a bottle of ru in their hands, some with jyl in their system.
Tuhi, one of the girls, drunk on ru, stumbled on the dock, one of the boys holding her up. She was inebriated, just a little bit past her senses, but she’d be sober in an hour, give or take. Onaj, the boy, pulled her up as she was about to fall off of the pier as they entered it. Bare feet slapped against the flaking wood of the pier as a dozen young adults drunkenly stumbled on it.
She was thinking about the Morning Bloom. In all of her eighteen years on this planet, she’d never been able to catch a close up glimpse of it.
Tuhi had lived on the Eastern Heart Cluster for most of her life, she knew the place like the back of her hand. Swimming was second nature. She could even do it while drunk, probably. The ocean currents were always friendly.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the drunken yell of one of her friends. “Ru,” he yelled. The other boys yelled back in response.
“Ru!”
Jaol, one of the boys, didn’t yell back. He simply slurred back, “Hey, can you fornds stop yelling? You’re killing me.”
One of the other boys shot him a jab in the shoulder, and he could have sworn he saw his soul leave his body for a second. “Relax, yey.” The boys laughed.
The cabin they just stumbled out of was Onaj’s. Onaj was the oldest of the group, tall and lean with caramel skin. His skin was a little lighter than the others, because of his Rhinemen heritage. This was most noticeable in his eyes, nearly catlike and glowing orange. He was the heavyweight in terms of ru. The man never got drunk. He was the “mother friend” of the group, and kept the bunch of babbling fools in line as they shuffled onto the boat.
He knew that they’d be sober within the hour. He would hope so, at least. Jaol probably had too much to drink. Perhaps some jyl got in his system. He looked high, Onaj thought.
Tuhi was starting to feel again, and she felt like she was getting a little smoother with her motor control. They all sat on the deck, on a giant, round seat. Tuhi’s hair started to flutter off in every which way as the wind kicked up. She took the tie off of her wrist and tied her hair back into a long ponytail.
“Alright guys,” Onaj spoke. He was loud, his voice booming in stark contrast to his stork-like body.  He spoke with a heavy Svain accent, the vowels slurring, each word sounding like that of a booming bird. He didn’t have enough hair for it to go fluttering, so he stood unfettered in the wind. His shirt, two sizes too large, did, however, move in the wind. “Do any of you remember where we’re going?” The drunk group of friends sat in silence. Onaj snapped. “Hey.”
The group of boys spoke up again. “Going to find treasure?”
“Going to find the stick lodged firmly up your-”
“That’s enough!” Onaj raised his voice. The rest fell in line.
Tuhi pinched herself. “Going diving, right?” Her voice was in the dead middle ground. It wasn’t a meek voice by any means, but it definitely wasn’t strong. He brushed the stray strands of hair in her eyes aside.
“Yep. See, Tuhi gets it! She’s sober enough,” Onaj said, mocking the rest of them, especially Jaol, who was near catatonic and way too high. Onaj looked over at the cabin at the pilot, who was awaiting the go signal. He waved his finger in a circle in the path of the rearview mirror. “Okay Serq, start it!” Serq was one of the only entirely sober people on the boat.
“Alrighty captain.” He had a dry, sarcastic tone to his voice. He had a salavic condition where he didn’t make enough saliva, and as such, he sounded dry as bone. He started up the boat, and within minutes they were off. Jaol fell over in his seat, almost rolling over the back of it.
Water kicked up behind them in two large streams, disturbing the stillness of the water as the first boat of the morning took off.
Onaj began to shout over the roar of the engine and water. “Let’s try this again, what are we here for,” he shouted.
“Diving,” Tuhi shouted. Jaol muttered something, but he was probably still too high to go underwater.
Their destination was about an hour away from the pier. It was the best spot to drop in, with its moderate temperature and proximity to the reef. The reef was going to bloom soon, and Tuhi fully intended to see it. It was a smooth boat ride; no tide disturbed the boat’s path, and everyone was too quiet, trying to get sober in time. Some people were scarfing down fruit and water, trying to accelerate the process. Tuhi sat with an apin in her hand, slowly munching away at the red fruit. Inside was a yellow liquid, contained in a sold shell. After the shell was eaten through, she put a straw in it and began drinking the juice. It had a sweet tang to it, tantalizing her taste buds. She relished in its flavour. Her family had an apin farm on their land, the twisted branches yielding the fruit every Slysiye. Jaol was so high that he was just staring at the fridge and cooler as if he was trying to eat the food with his mind. Tuhi figured that he wouldn’t be able to join them, but she didn’t care.
Within the hour they had arrived at their position. Onaj yelled out.
“Alright everybody, get ready!” He signalled everyone to get in their gear as he opened the storage compartment, which slid out of the white wall with a hiss. In the slide out closet was a dozen suits. They were pitch black, skin tight wetsuits. Bright blue stripes ran along either side, down sides of the arms, torso, and legs. It had a metal ring around the collarbone with the occasional sphere on regular intervals. Onaj was the first to grab a suit, Tuhi the second. The rest flocked like pigeons towards the case afterwards, Jaol being the last.
The suit was open entirely on the back. Tuhi stripped down to just her undergarments, as did everyone else, and jumped into the suit. Her bronze skin glittered in response to the tiny droplets of water spraying over the deck. After pressing a button on the metal collar, the back sealed itself, bonding at the molecular level. She reached her arms up into the air, then met them behind her back, then sat down and stretched her legs out. It always took her a few minutes to get used to the skintight suit. Jaol had entered a thousand yard stare in her direction, and Tuhi couldn’t tell if it was because of his… “fascination” with her, or if he was still way too high on jyl.
She made one last stretch, meeting her hands behind her back from the top and bottom, stretching out her shoulders. She was feeling more herself every second. She loved the water. Onaj looked over at the catatonically high man in the corner.
“Hey, Jaol!”
Jaol muttered something incomprehensible in response. Whatever it was, it was slurred and definitely not words.
“Look, sorry man, I don’t think you’ll be able to come with us.”
Jaol finally said something.
“What the fuck, man,” he said, slurred and feeling insulted. Onaj ignored him. He looked over to Serq.
“Hey, Serq? Could you make sure Jaol doesn't come in? He’s way too high still.”
“Yeah, sure.”
Onaj looked over to Tuhi. The two had an awkward history, but they were still friends, despite it. Sometimes they couldn’t bear to look each other in the eyes after the events of the prior year.
The back wall of the boat folded downwards, hitting the water. The boat stopped along with it. Everyone lined up along the new platform, save for Jaol, who was being held back by Serq with very little effort.
Onaj pressed the metal ring on his collar, giving the signal to everyone else to follow suit. Tuhi pressed hers. A glass dome, near bulletproof in nature, materialized around their heads, followed by a short hissing noise. The process took a few seconds, but they were all greeted with the freshness of the air from their waist-mounted Oxygen tanks.
Everyone felt that Onaj was the head of the group, and he had done this kind of dive most, so they all followed his lead. Tuhi had dived just as much as he had, but she wasn’t as outgoing about it.
The water stilled soon after the boat stopped. Tuhi looked out in awe at the Stasis. Onaj pressed the rightmost button on the collar of the wetsuit.
“Testing, testing.”
Everyone else chimed in with “One, two three!”
A smile spread across Tuhi’s face. This trip was her idea, and she was so glad that Onaj could wrangle everyone together for long enough for a diving trip.
“One the count of three,” Onaj yelled loudly, even though the microphones were working just fine.
“One…” Tuhi bent her knees.
“Two…” She took a deep breath, calming her nerves for a steady leap. The rest of them just bent their knees.
“Three!” Tuhi took a massive leap and met her hands above her head in a point, turning down and piercing the water like a spear. It gave way as everyone jumped in unison, Tuhi going the furthest down in the water. Her hands nearly touched the bottom. She looked around and saw everyone plummeting into the water one by one, Onaj being the most distinguishable due to his skeleton-like frame. Tuhi pressed the button resting in her palm, deploying the flippers attached to her feet. Everything was light blue and perfectly still. It felt like the world stopped. Everyone else looked around at the resting reef.
Tuhi got close to the reef. Giant red orbs lining the bottom of the ocean floor. Lines ran down the spheres, where they open when they bloom. Witnessing a bloom is a very rare, and sometimes dangerous thing, only in the winter, though.
Onaj looked at the time on the watch on his wetsuit. “The bloom should be in two minutes, Tuhi.” He looked around at the others. “Now you guys can go do whatever you want. We meet back here at noon.”
Tuhi’s attention was absorbed into the reef. They looked so ethereal. Bright red and purple, rocklike shells. She wanted to see them open.
She felt them. They felt strange, they didn’t quite feel like rock. They had the texture of granite, but they were soft and malleable. She was astounded. A warm feeling swelled in her heart as a grin spread across her face.
Before she knew it, the spheres cracked and shook, one by one. She grew giddy as she stared intently. She got closer.
All of a sudden, the spheres snapped open with an explosion of water pressure, massive jets of bubbles and sheer pressure. The spheres turned into stars with holes in the center, like upside down starfish.
The jet of water slammed into Tuhi’s chest, knocking the breath out of her lungs. More jets from other spheres ignited and hit Tuhi. The jets grabbed and carried her, sending her flying backwards in the water. She couldn’t escape. The water had her in her clutches.
She didn’t realize what was happening at the time. She didn’t know where she was. Before she knew it, she was thirty meters away from the reef and rapidly flying back. She felt a blast hit her in the side, and her gut sunk. She realized that she’d hit the ocean jet stream.
She could faintly hear Onaj yelling out her name before she hit her head against a rock, shattering the glass. She was moving too fast. Small fragments of glittering shine floated alongside her. The last thing she noticed before she passed out.
