Kinnporsche ep 13 liveblogging

Literally ONE LINE into the episode I had to stop and come here to go AAAAAHHHHHHH.

I’m fine, I’m fine.

It really does sorta hit different when you’re not expecting it and you get a line like that in English. VEGAS.

And the rest of that scene, my god. Vegas is GONE on Pete, holy crap. And Pete’s live in the moment, act by what you feel philosophy makes sense.

Did I think I was gonna ship these two at all? No. Am I losing my mind over them since last week? Fucking yes.

What did I miss? Why are they back? So we don’t get a scene where they left and we don’t get a scene when they come back, this is honestly super annoying.

OMG Vegas is cooking for him isn’t he? God that looks delicious.

Okay so I’ve had to watch these Vegaspete scenes twice. (up until the Tankhun interruption) So first I want to know what “I don’t like it” means or if that’s an accurate translation. And Pete, you did more than not say no. So okay, Pete’s having a hard time accepting that he enjoyed what they did. Especially in the circumstances, fair.

And as usual I get where Vegas is coming from. Pete is weakness and there’s no place for that in his life. Pete obviously cares but Vegas can’t stand to be pitied. Pete offers him an alternative but that’s going against Vegas’ entire life. So it makes sense he lashes out.

--HoOLY SHIT that scene with Vegas and Pete. Like fucking GOD. Both of them, bravo. Like...I’m still not 100% where Pete is coming from, like is this all just a result of everything he’s been through, which, fair. Or is this longer standing depressive/suicidal ideation. Wouldn’t be surprised and it would honestly make this pairing make even more sense.

I really kinda hoped Vegas was going to let Pete leave, but I think he was going to unlock him, he just begged him not to leave because he’s, yanno, broken. But it’s understandable for Pete to run. Although if he could have done that the whole time why not before now?

Anyway, yeah this is just all so compelling and complicated and interesting and yeah....also not what I was expecting, which is also good. I don’t want this show to stop surprising me.

I honestly can’t believe I’m only 20 minutes into this episode.

Sad bitches hours I see.

-Well, that was fast to get Porsche and Vegas working together. And Vegas and Pete are going to fucking kill me, my god.

Oh, I thought it was adorable when I thought it was Kinn introducing Porsche to his mom, but no, it’s Porsche’s parents and he wants to be introduced. God. OMG that kiss, fingers thing was so cute.

Ooo, here we go. I was spoiled that we’re getting the pool scene but in all this vegaspete angst I forgot. Hello side asss...

I freaking love the sex scenes in this show. At some point I’ll probably write an essay about it. And of course Porsche takes off, though I’m surprised he takes Porchay, though I’m guessing that’s for the Kim plot.

Naturally the uncle is killed.

So this makes Porsche and Kinn first cousins? Supposedly? I mean it’s better than brothers, which was kinda what they were implying before. Well, whatever, I’m not watching this for the plot.

It WOULD make sense why Korn brought Porsche in, though.

Okay off to enjoy gifs. This was an overall stronger episode than last week. Looking forward to more vegaspete, hopefully with another sex scene.

You were at techno’s place and it had seemed like he had been cleaning his tools for ages, you were beginning to get very bored...You walk over to techno and gently tug his cape

“Techy you’ve been cleaning your tools for ages aren’t you done yet?” He huffs softly not in a bad annoyance or anything but just he doesn’t like being interrupted much “Almost I just gotta finish working on my sword and then I have a couple things to do to fix my pick axe and then I’ll be done okay?” You whine softly as you tug his cape slightly more “noooo I don’t wanna wait any longer I want you to come pay attention to me I’m bored” He rolls his eyes softly though you can’t see as his eyes as they’re still on his sword “Just a little longer okay? And stop tugging on my cape..” You smirk softly “And if I don’t~”

He huffs slightly “Then I’ll give you a tickle potion so that you’ll be eventually forced to let go of my cape because you’ll be curled on the floor in laughter” he paused for a moment “oh and that should cure your boredom as well” Your eyes widen as you blush softly “S-shut up you’re just saying that to fluster me and make me let go of your cape, t-ti... those type of potions don’t exist” He snickered softly “Oh really? Let go of my cape and I’ll show you that they do” You carefully let go of his cape and stepped back, he set down his tools on the work table and began to walk into his potion making area. He came back only moments later with a almost sparkling pale pink color potion, he carefully held it out to you. You took it softly staring at it for a moment

“So you expect me to believe this is gonna do something?” He nods smirking at your disbelief “oh it’s gonna do more than just something, it’s gonna make you feel wiggly fingers on that little tummy of yours, you’re gonna feel feathers tracing your cheeks, paint brushes ghosting your ears, and then it’s slowly gonna start speeding everything up, intensifying it all... You’re gonna feel hands squeezing up and down your sides, little finger nails crawling up your ribs scribbling inbetween each and every bone, and just when you think it can’t get any worse you’re gonna feel squeezes and circling massaging feelings on your hips, you’re gonna feel raspberries and nibbles all over your stomach and sides and it’s gonna feel like they’re never gonna end but then they will, it’ll all finally slow down, the squeezes will stop, the raspberries will stop, and you’ll feel gentle rubbing taking away the ghostly tickles as paint brushes and feathers gently trail your neck and ears as fingers softly trace your sides and stomach leaving you a giggling mess until they slow to a stop leaving you curled on the floor giggling”

Your face was impossibly red and seeing as it couldn’t redden anymore it began to spread to your ears as you were flustered beyond all belief “n-no y-you’re just saying that I-I’m sure this is just water with food coloring” He rolled his eyes “Alright then if it’s just water with food coloring then drink it and prove me wrong” Your eyes widened as you cautiously open it and ask “Do I drink all of it?” He shrugs as he says “Depends on how much effect you want, the more wrecked you want the more you should drink, it has just enough slowness in it to where it won’t push you farther than you can take”

You shrug softly smirking “It’s just water and food coloring I’m not worried” He chuckles softly “mhm keep saying that” he pauses “Oh since you were tugging on this so much and it’ll help you figure out what to do with your hands take this” he swiftly took off his cape and handed it to you, you took it holding it in one hand softly as your other holds the potion, you quickly down it it having a rather fruity taste that seems to leave a tingle in your throat for a second but then it passes.. You wait a minute as you put the cape on, “hm not feeling anything yet tech I think I was right and it really was just waAHTER” you’re cut off by a wiggling feeling on your stomach making you yelp, your eyes widen as you look at techno his arms crossed as he has a satisfied look on his face

“How’s that food coloring and water now y/n?” You’re barely holding back giggles as you now feel a soft scratching at your sides “I-it’s j-just fine thahnks, I-it tasted greEAT GAH I THOUGHT YOU SAID IT WAS SLOW” you yell out as you begin feeling scratching on your ribs making you break into giggles nearing laughter some spots, techno smirks clearly satisfied as he goes and sits down to continue cleaning his tools “Well yea but I mean you did down it all in one drink so that probably speed it up” “ohohoho nohohowww yoouu tehehlll mmhehehe tthahattt FRICK NOT THE PITS! AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!” You break into full laughter as your armpits are targeted feeling as if fingers were drilling into the centers of your armpits, your shocked as you didn’t realize your armpits were so sensitive!

Techno chuckled softly “Wow didn’t realize you were so ticklish there y/n” You became more flustered at the tease as you gripped the cape in your fists softly “SHUHUHUSSHHH AHAHAHAHAAHAH” he raised an eyebrow softly “oh?” He grinned smugly “Does my teasing fluster you? Does it make everything worse? Or should I say more tickly perhaps?” You begin to feel the drilling sensations slow to gentle tracing leaving you giggling softly as you in grip the cape with one hand gently throwing it over your face to hide from techno “mahahhayybbehehe sohhooo lihihikkehehe ihihi sshahahihihiddd shuhusshhh”

He chuckles “no I don’t want to, in fact your reaction only makes me wanna wanna tease you more” You whine through your giggles as you peak through the cape, for some reason him being so teasy yet nonchalant about everything by not even looking at you and instead just still cleaning his tools “tehehehccchhhh plhehehaHAHASHEHE FRICK!” Suddenly things pick up again as you feel squeezes on your sides and raspberries on your cheeks, frick they were more tickly than you imagined they would be and also a whole lot more flustering as well! You began softly rubbing your cheeks in an attempt to lessen the sensation but it was of no use, techno began laughing noticing you rubbing your cheeks

“No you’re kidding right? There’s no way your cheeks are ticklish! What’s it doing tracing them with feathers? Wiggling paint brushes on them? Or raspberries?” You shocked hysteric laughter slows to a more normal volume of laughter “ihihihi mihihigghhtt hahavvehehe ahhahnndd ihihittt migihigghhttt bbehehe rahahssbbeheherriiehehss” He shakes his head laughing “Is there anywhere you’re not at least a little ticklish?” You shake your head softly as you laugh “ihihihi dohohohnnnttt knhohohowww” He chuckles as he says “”well guess we’ll have to test that out sometime won’t we?”

You begin to say something in retort but you’re cut off by a shriek as you feel a kneading sensation on your hips and a. Resume ghosting your your stomach “No weEEE AAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH NOHOHHOTTT THEHEHE HIHIPPSS NHAHAHTTT THEHHEE HIHIHIPPSSS THEHHEYYYYRRREHEHEHEEH SOHOHOHO BBAHAHHADDD PPPLLEEEHEHEHAHASSSHEHEHE” Tech’s ears twitched softly at your sudden volume increase as he smirked softly “Is it really that ticklish hmm? Are you just that ticklish that it makes you almost scream in laughter? That sorta adorable honestly”

Just as you thought you couldn’t get anymore flustered he had to use THAT specific word suddenly once again just before you can speak you’re cut off again! You absolutely scream before falling to silent laughter as you feel raspberries and nibbles being placed all over your stomach and sides! “TECH DONT- AAAAAHHHHHHH....................” The sensations continue a good ten seconds or so before you feel a massaging rubbing the feelings away as you feel feathers tracing your ears and cheeks as you giggle with hiccups in between them, tech raises an eyebrow slightly in concern at your hiccups as he sets his tools down and comes over gently helping you sit up as he rubs your back soothingly

“woah woah woah you good there? You’re hiccuping quite a bit” you nod still giggling and hiccuping “yehehaha *hic* ihihimm gohohoddd thihiss *hic* ahahalllwahhayysss hahahppehehennss ahhaffftteheherr *hic* ihihi sihillehehenntt laahauugghhh” he nods softly “Well good seems my potion is just perfect then” he smile softly as he jokes light heartedly , you roll your eyes softly as the feelings eventually go away and your hiccups and giggles subside “Yea it’s good it’s really good” you yawn softly as you finish your sentence and he looks at you “Do you wanna crash here for the night you seem pretty tired” you begin to shake your head no “no it’s fine I wouldn’t wanna annoy you” he shakes his head “you could never annoy me come on just stay for one night” you laugh softly “yea you’re saying that now but we both know it’s not true” he laughs softly as well “okay okay so maybe you do annoy me sometimes but either way you should still stay the night you’re wore out and it’s already practically night so it wouldn’t be safe” you smile softly “fine just for one night though” he doesn’t outwardly show it but you can tell he’s excited and happy “okay well you already know where the guest bedroom is though fair warning I’d check for any prank traps because Tommy was the last one to use it” you shake your head “I’ll definitely be sure and check it” you stand up and begin to take his cape off but he stops you “No you keep it it’s already cold as is and it’s only gonna get colder the later it gets, I’ll just get it from you before you go home tomorrow” you sigh softly happy to have seen such a soft side of tech as he didn’t show it to many people “thank you tech that means a lot” you hug him and he’s surprised at first not being used to hugs often but quickly hugs back “you’re welcome”

And so it was a peaceful rest of the night now the next morning was a bit of a different story... let’s just say you and tech may or may not have planned to go mining and you may or may not have slipped some of his own tickle potion into his morning coffee before you guys left....

TsukiYachi speculations, thoughts and theories based on canonical evidence

WARNING: THIS IS A LONG LONG POST!

So I wanna share my thoughts with everyone - especially ya’ll TsukiYachi lovers (notably @mimi-cee-hq) whoever that’s left (and clearly I should be working but doing this cause I apparently like to procrastinate)

Canonical Evidence

I want to reinforce the point here. When I write about character analysis and speculations, I base things on canonical evidence - that is - based on what I see and interpret from the manga and anime. I usually prefer to use manga as that is the ultimate canon but seeing as the anime is quite loyal to the manga, I’ll be using it too. Of course, this is all interpretation base (and maybe biased) which is why I will put forward evidence that I see so it helps people see where and how I got to my conclusion (instead of looking like I just made something up). Teehee.

Manga Vs. Anime

I only recently started the anime and reading the manga (yes yes I am aware I am late to the party but I’m FASHIONABLY LATE) and it is amazing how loyal the anime is to the manga (so far) but I have noticed a few discrepancies. And because this is a TsukiYachi post I am going to focus on this.

The anime unfortunately toned down some of the interactions between Tsukki and Yachi, which is a huge shame - BUT it does make up for some parts by extrapolating and adding more cute details that was not seen in the manga. So I suppose there are elements of balance, although the details the anime omitted was important as it gave off more interesting vibes.

For example; this interaction below was downplayed in the anime. Yachi only talked of Tsukki’s liveliness and the flustered “he usually acts so cool” was left out. So sad, I would have totally liked to see a flustered Yachi talking about Tsukki <33

AND THIS ONE BELOW! THE MOST DISAPPOINTING OF THEM ALL! I was sooooooooo sad when the anime left this specific part out where Tsukki and Yachi were sitting next to each other. In the anime, Yachi was somewhere on the other side holding plates or something. LIKE SERIOUSLY? When manga panels are drawn, they usually draw who they would like to emphasise in the centre or draw them bigger. LOOK AT TSUKKI AND YACHI BEING THE CETNRE OF ATTENTION! LOOK AT HOW BIG THEY’VE BEEN DRAWN!! LOOK AT THEM SITTING NEXT TO EACH OTHER.

STUPID EFFING ANIME HOW DARE YOU DENY US TSUKIYACHI FANS OF THIS!!! *rant rant rant*

Anyways, one thing I did like about the anime was them extrapolating this scene. Teehee. Look at Tsukki just staring at Yachi even whilst Yamaguchi was talking. And then Tsukki continues to talk to Yachi as if Yama didn’t say anything at all. This scene was so adorable <33

So moving on

Interactions

I gotta agree with everyone here and the obvious is that the interactions between Tsukki and Yachi are minimal. It is so sad but you know, Tsukki is a side character and Yachi is like a side side character so I do understand why their interactions would have very little screen/page time. In saying that, whenever they do have their interaction, or when one talks of the other, it was rather significant. This was most notable in the Shiratorizawa arc. Let me explain;

Yachi is extremely caring of all her teammates and her interactions lie predominantly with Kiyoko and the four first year boys. Of the four, Hinata would be the one she interacts with most. I suppose this is because Hinata is the main protagonist so he gets thorough interaction moments with all characters. It is a given.

Kageyama’s interaction with Yachi was second in terms of screen/page time but I believe the vast majority of the time, it was together with Hinata (ones that are significant anyways).

Then there is Yamaguchi, who so adorably thinks she is cute. I am still unsure whether he actually likes her (maybe a little crush?). But I reckon Nishinoya likes Kiyoko more than Yamaguchi likes Yachi LOL. So it might just be a tiny crush, I don’t know. Anyways, YamaYachi have very little screen time as well and their direct and indirect interactions don’t particularly stand out to me. I mean, they do have their little fluff moments but nothing significant in terms of development.

Now we have Tsukki. In terms of screen/page time, Yachi and Tsukki, like I said earlier, have minimal interactions - but I mean this in a direct interaction kind of way. What I noticed were their indirect interactions! I’ll explain more later.

I went into watching Haikyuu with a very neutral standpoint and my TsukiYachi shipping did not start until quite some time later (most notable during the Shiratorizawa arc).

Shiratorizawa Arc

Tsukki underwent a major character development during the Shiratorizawa arc so this was a time where he shone the brightest. During this arc, Yachi had some of the biggest screen/page time - it was so awesome!

Aside from when Yachi was first introduced, we never really got to see much of her, but her screen/page time appeared a lot more during this arc. It so happens that this very arc was the most important for Tsukki. Three major things I noted from this arc,

1. Akiteru’s presence

2. Akiteru and Yachi’s interactions (direct and indirect)

3. Yachi’s commentary of Tsukki

Akiteru’s Presence

Akiteru, we all know, was Tsukki’s biggest influence when it comes to his ideas around volleyball, so naturally his presence there during Tsukki’s major development would be significant.

These two have an absurd amount of interactions during this arc. Have a look below!

This was only a handful of times! There were so many more I couldn’t possibly add them all to this post! They only just met that day yet they talked so much to each other! And it wasn’t just all about Tsukki, it was about the game in general and I just love the friendly interactions between them. Like the most important person to Tsukki was interacting so much with Yachi <33 My heart...

Furudate could have made Akiteru interact the same way with any of the other three on the stand i.e. Saeko, Takinoue or Shimada but he made the focus on him and Yachi. And to have Yachi closely interact so much (and on a deep level regarding Tsukki) with someone so close to Tsukki, I thought this was so adorable!

Then we see Yachi’s commentary. FML don’t get me started on this. I don’t tend to be too observant with these kinds of things but I remember when I was watching this arc for the first time, the amount of times Yachi made some sort of comment about Tsukki was pretty much the only time she had screen time (aside from when Akiteru was talking to her).

I don’t know whether Furudate was being deliberate with this (he probably was), but anyone on the team could give the same comments as Yachi regarding Tsukki! They probably know his play a lot better as well, but then the audience were given scenes of Yachi commenting on Tsukki instead. ALSO, NOT JUST ANY COMMENTS, they were quite deep-seated ones too. Yachi was just so observant of him and she watches him so closely it was so sweet. She seems to know his state of mind really well <333333

So have a look at some of her comments

Of course there was the one panel earlier when she was talking about how lively Tsukki appeared. I won’t duplicate it. I really can’t help but notice how much she talked about Tsukki during this arc, and they were all mostly directed towards Akiteru as well! HOW IMPORTANT IS THAT? I gotta reinforce this but talking so deeply about someone to the most important family member of that person is so.....HNNNGGGG!! It was no wonder Akiteru was so surprised that Tsukki may have other friends other than Yamaguchi. Teehee.

Also note that Yachi has not spoken about Kageyama or Yamaguchi (or even Kiyoko) in such a deep manner. She has done so bits and pieces toward Hinata, but tbh not as much as this arc here re; Tsukki.

Below are some Yachi reactions specifically towards Tsukki spiking (first two images) and blocking (last two images) - I had to put these in cause it’s soooo cute!

Something extra for thoughts. I really love the below panel. Something about Yachi speaking of this was so sweet and tender. As if she truly knew exactly how much pain he was in. AAAAAHHHHHHH T____T My gorgeous babies.

Also this one below as well, which occurred earlier in the manga. I just love how Yachi looks out for everyone but she finds Tsukki just that much more challenging to decipher. It just makes it so great when she was able to tell the differing emotions from Tsukki later on in the series... even though he was so apathetic most of the time...

Finally this image below which I already posted above but would like to say a bit more about. So this scene occurred right after Karasuno beat Shiratorizawa. I just love it how with all the emphasis between Yachi and Tsukki during the entire arc, it was so beautifully wrapped up with them sitting next to each other <333

Extra Side Story

Right I ain’t gonna leave this one out. This panel below just goes to show that there was something going on here. Whether I have overanalysed it or not, on face value, it just seems a bit too different for me. What I mean is that Tsukki is a very apathetic, standoff-ish kinda person. If he is not being aloof, he is making some sort of snide and snarky remarks about someone. So Tsukki literally going out of his way to try and say something nice, to make Yachi feel better about her body and then getting a bit miffed because it didn’t get through the way he wanted, was very, very out of character for him. Which is why I just feel like he may have a soft spot for Yachi. Or maybe he is nicer to girls? Though I haven’t seen him saying anything remotely encouraging to Kiyoko.

Then I thought of what he said. As I mentioned in some other post (I posted heaps I don’t even remember where now lmao). “There are definitely people who like smaller girls...” If the translation was done correctly from Japanese to English (I can vouch for this as I can read a bit of Japanese), then the word ‘definitely’ he used was rather brazen. It just means he knows with 100% accuracy that there are people out there who likes smaller girls... And it’s normally a reference to the person speaking because they obviously know that they like the person hehehe.

Okay almost done with my thesis.

Star References

Yo this one is so fluff I fucking love it. I already made brief comments about this in some of my other posts and replies and Mimi (@mimi-cee-hq) has done an amazing job writing two mini fics on this for me (ILY MY TSUKIYACHI SOUL HAS BEEN FED). So I started watching it a little closer in the anime (and manga), and Tsukki really favours his star shirts a whole damn lot (like the whole moon and star reference probably re; play on his name). Yachi on the other hand favours her star hair ties, blue ones she wears as manager and black ones during school times. I mean come on! Subtle references much? Either I am overanalysing this way too much and Furudate was half asleep when he designed these accessories or he truly be putting in some sneaky TsukiYachi references <333

P. S. Couple accessories that reference each other in subtle ways are common in Japan.

Concluding Thoughts (this honestly feels like an essay fml)

So these are my evidence for this pairing so far. I may have overanalysed this and Furudate could be like “wtf this person be taking this whole thing out of context that was not what I intended” OR “yeah man she totally nailed it right on the spot. I’m surprised she could pick this up so well” HAHAHA.

Either way, this was my interpretation based on what I saw/read. As a long time manga reader, I know that manga artists portray characters and place emphasis on certain things in differing ways because the audience reading and seeing a drawing is different to them watching something. It’s a lot more difficult to portray your point across to readers than watchers. So that’s why when I read manga, parts such as drawing things bigger, more detailed and at the centre signifies more emphasis, as well as having certain characters together in panels.

At first glance, I actually thought this pairing would be like a crack pairing because there was no absolute way there could be anything remotely romantic about this ship. But the more I watched and read, the more I realised that this pairing does have some sort of potential. I mean, just because of all the direct and indirect interactions I wrote about them here, it does not automatically mean that there would be a romantic development. What I’m trying to show is that there is a lot more to this pairing than just thinking of them as a crack ship, b/c there are developments for these two. Furudate seems to make it so that these two know each other a lot more than what the audience is being given. Do I even make any sense? LOL

Feel free to refute every single thing I wrote here. I love a good debate. As long as you can back it up with evidence and keep things civil that is. It would be so nice if Yachi ends up with Tsukki but yeah who knows. I’d rather her end up with no one if she doesn’t get together with Tuskki (but that’s my personal opinion). Leaving things to interpretation can be a good thing.

And yeah, it was a nice day!! There was nothing grand or particularly special, but I had a good day. The better side of my family all live in other states and the nearest is an hour and half away, the rest are over 4 hours away (and the states are relatively close...the cons of a huge sized country!), so I’ve never spent a birthday with them, hahaha. But that’s okay. As good as they are, I don’t finish blending in, you know? So like, they don’t have the same sort of fun that I do, except for a couple cousins but they live like 7 or 8 hours away.

But that’s okay! I really LOVE and prefer spending time with my friends. This year it wasn’t possible, but mostly because, surprisingly, it was the first year my family decided to stop work and hang out with me :3 The core of my family, I mean, mom and dad and my brother.

I guess a lot of it is because papa hasn’t had formal job for over a year or two now. So on his formal profession, he’s always away and home on the weekends if we’re lucky, so that’s a lot to blame on why I hadn’t spend birthdays with them before in like the past 8 or 9 or so years. But now that he’s in an informal job, he can drop it any time he wants. So it was a matter of waiting for mommy to be out, him to catch up, and me to make it to a middle point (I went to my course schoo,too). My brother sadly can’t drop it as easily as my parents, but that’s okay, he caught up afterwards.

So it was a good day :3 We didn’t go anywhere particular or do anything special, but it was nice haanging with them and walking through the city. I chomped down a big bowl of my favorite food at one of my favorite places and my favorite Icee flavor I don’t find as easily, and some other very yummy treats!! I felt like an ancient roman eating and eating non stop to celebrate kalsjdkladgjadlkgjadlkgajd

So yeah, it was a great day!!!

Thank you for your good wishes, dear Peridot. Thank you for hoping that I got what I wished for, or to receive it in the future. I honestly can’t think of anything special to wish for. I’d like some extra cash right now to pay my mommy for the course I’m taking, but that’s really not important. I’ve got my family alive and healthy, so am I, I’ve got a house and blankets, and food in the fridge. I’m so blessed and more privileged than most, I can’t think of anything besides material things, which really are just an extra and bonus of life.

Infinity War Reaction Post: [SPOILERS]

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, this hurt.

It hurt, but.... it wasn’t terrible? I was genuinely worried it would gut me AND be a massive shitty clusterfuck of a movie. And while it definitely had a lot of balls in the air, and it wasn’t perfect, it handled them I felt with a lot more grace than say, AOU. On the whole, it was a decent movie, which I am grateful for.

Loki. Auuuuugh. Pain. His face is haunting me.

I went into this a tiny bit spoiled just from the emotional reactions of other people who had been spoiled, so I was 100% ready for him to die. Am I bummed that it happened in the first ten minutes? Yes. But. My ‘best case scenario’ at that point was that he died being heroic and didn’t just join the Black Order and then get nerfed as punishment. Fandom’s ability to retcon character assassination is harder than its ability to retcon actual assassination. And there’s a LOT of avenue for fix-it fics.

I am.... weirdly glad that Loki’s jotun heritage at least gets called out, if not addressed. We never get anything real about it, but.... in his last moments, Loki acknowledges all of himself. He is Odinson. He is Jotun. He is of Asgard. None of these things are mutually exclusive. And he is willing to give his life to try to end Thanos and save Thor. That look he gives Thor when he’s getting ready to stab Thanos... he never believed he’d survive this. But he was going to try.

Seriously, Loki just-- first trying hard not to give Thanos the tesseract, then giving in in tears because Thor is being tortured and then WE HAVE A HULK. THAT FULL CIRCLE. AAAAHHHHHHHH.

Thor’s pain crawling over to Loki’s body. MY HEART. I’m glad that Thor is actually mourning and his grief for Loki specifically is highlighted later, with Rocket, even after jokey banter happens. That Loki was the last thing Thor had left to lose kills me.

Even without spoilers, I kinda suspected Loki’s death would happen as a motivating force for Thor. And for all that, I am glad that Thor got a more emotionally-fueled arc than he did in Ragnarok. They let him have his humorous moments to keep some tonal continuity, but let his emotional moments breathe too.

Thor being mostly sure Loki is dead but in a bit of denial to hold out hope...

NIDAVELLIR. FUCK. YEAH.

Seriously, we got more nine realms worldbuilding in IW than in Ragnarok.

Thor willing to die to hold open the aperture to make the ax, because at that point whether he lives or dies no longer matters

Thor being A GOD. The sheer badassery of his weapon BEING A BIFROST and then fucking LAYING WASTE to Thanos’ army. FFFFFUUUUUCCK ME.

Groot’s arm as the ax handle was a nice touch.

Rocket. Oh god. “I have a lot to lose” -- and then he does.

We all fucking called Rocket wanting Bucky’s arm but I’m glad we got it anyway.

Seriously, that Rocket & Bucky teamup moment.

Is it weird I found Proxima Midnight hot?

The Black Order were not really developed at all, but I’m pretty okay with that considering how much development Thanos got.

Honestly, I’m surprised by how much they fleshed him out? His motivation is a far cry from what it is in the comics, and that nerfs a lot of fic, but... It worked. It made him a lot more interesting. And more scary, I think, than a big evil purple caricature. I didn’t ask for this, but I appreciated it.

(Of course, now I’m imagining Ebony Maw torturing Loki with those glass scalpel things...)

I liked Tony in this movie. I think putting him with characters more obnoxious than he is was a good choice -- In past Avengers movies, he’s been the immature, off the wall one, and putting him with Quill and Spidey suddenly forced him to be the Adult in the room and changed up his dynamic as a team member to do something new.

The moment when Quill is talking about how his plan is better and Tony’s face just shuts down: I imagine he’s thinking-- “Is this what it feels like to be Cap? This is what it must feel like to be Cap. Fuck.”

Peter Parker is, of course, adorable.

Is Avengers 4 gonna have the most depressing and awkward interstellar roadtrip ever as Nebula and Tony find their way back to earth?

Gamora giving up the location of the soul stone to save Nebula, and then Nebula realizing Gamora is dead, hurt me deep in my soul.

Gamora. Ffffffff. Did not expect that. O_O

WANDA. WANDA WANDA WANDA WANDA. SHE IS SUCH A GODDAMN BADASS. SERIOUSLY. I am so glad they finally showed her as the fucking POWERHOUSE that she is. Holding off Proxima and Corvus on her own, and then later just fucking laying waste to so much of the alien army, and then SINGLEHANDEDLY holding Thanos off WHILE DESTROYING THE MIND STONE and breaking her own heart.

I actually even kinda cared about ScarletVision, which I didn’t think was possible?

Seriously, Wanda getting a major emotional arc. <3

Rhodey and Sam friendship and teamwork.

Rhodey basically telling Ross to go fuck himself.

Sam: “This is awkward.” (thank you for letting that be the end of BruceNat’s acknowledgement)

Shuri at Banner.

Bucky: “I love this place.”

M’Baku being there and calling T’Challa ‘brother.’ <3

After he spent a lot of Ragnarok as Hulk, I appreciate that Bruce spent pretty much the whole movie as Bruce for once?

STEVE. Steve being gorgeous and stoic and good and sad. Steve facing off against Thanos and STEEEEEEEEVE.

I am actually amazed Steve made it through; I was so braced for him to die. But then-- fuck. When Bucky collapses into ash. I gasped out loud.

Steve falling to his knees with that utterly lost look on his face in Bucky’s ashes. I AM REALLY WORRIED THEY BROKE HIM.

SAAAAAAAAAM.

Okoye’s face. *sobs*

Wanda’s look of relief when she goes to ash.

Thor being SO CLOSE. SO CLOSE TO STOPPING IT. The guuuuuiiiilt he has to feel of not being enough to save anyone.

Okay, so, obviously everyone who got ashed is gonna come back. They killed Peter and T’Challa, and those are golden goddamn geese for Marvel. They’re gonna wanna make a Black Panther 2 and another Spider-man, so we’re getting them back.

Strange gave up the time stone for a reason. There’s definitely gonna be some time-traveling/reality warping plan here.

I’m curious to see just how much gets “undone” past Thanos’ final act there. I know there’s speculation that anyone who was killed directly and not ashed will stay dead (Gamora, Heimdall, Loki), but I’m not sure Marvel will let Thor suffer that much, where EVERYONE else gets someone back except for him. Resetting reality gives them an opportunity to undo the destruction of Asgard, and get back all those characters and that setting for future franchise opportunities -- especially since Ragnarok made a fuckload of money and Hemsworth would be willing to return.

If they don’t bring Loki back, fuck it, fandom will. OVER AND OVER.

WHERE WAS CLINT????

I get not bringing Scott in since he has his own movie coming up which is probably set pre-Infinity War. But COME ON, MARVEL. You left us with 5 of the 6 founding avengers alive at the end but no Clint anywhere?

He had better be like, the main character of Avengers 4.

Oh shit-- what if his whole family got ashed??? What if that’s his reason for going all Ronin in Avengers 4??????

There is a plot point that I am really fucking angry about because it fucks with a fic I’m writing. I can’t say which plot point though. But I have had it plotted out since fucking 2015 so fuck. that. I’m doing it.

CAROL, COME FIX EVERYTHING.

Carol Danvers shows up 20 years late with starbucks, punches Thanos into the sun, takes the gauntlet, fixes the universe, then goes out for burgers with Monica Rambeau because punching someone into the sun works up an appetite.

Overall, I have a lot of feelings. There were a lot of things the movie did really well and a lot of things I absolute loved. I am also absolutely gutted. But I am trying to have faith that a lot will be fixed in Avengers 4 -- and if not, it WILL be fixed by fandom. Loki dying is pain pain pain, but it doesn’t destroy his character, and doesn’t destroy fandom’s love of him and his story, or all the other stories we’ll still come up with. A certain amount of status quo will be restored, I’m sure. And fandom is forever.

peter quill imitating thor’s voice

ROCKET AND BUCKY’S ARM THE TRUE OTP

pepper and tony were adorable and i love them and strange congratulated them on their engagement and tony’s talking about planning a wedding and it’s everything i want for them asdfghjkl why did thanos have to be such a cockblock smh

omg when t’challa died a dude in the theater yelled out “oh hell naw” and everyone burst out laughing - it was a fantastic moment you can only get in a theater (though it also was like some weird cognitive dissonance)

apparently there was an arrested development reference that i MISSED when i saw it in the credits i freaked and it was tobias in his blue makeup with the collector and obviously i need to watch it again just for that

(the stair car also made an appearance in Civil War fun fact)

also can we appreciate the scenes with natasha, wanda, and okoye fighting together? #ladiesgetshitdone

peter parker was just so great in this - with the made up names thing, and the way he was saving all the guardians while apologizing for not knowing their names - what a gem i cant believe they did that to him

K, so ya girl made the trip to see Anastasia on Broadway because WHY THE FUCK NOT also I needed a much needed vacation lmaooo (RIP MY $$$ but I’m here for a good time, not a long time!!! And worth going to see the show alone!) I also saw it twice because I’m so Extra(TM). But anyway, here be a reallllyy looooooong ass flail-y recap and thoughts for prosperity!!! I’m also combining both nights because I can!!!

So the first night, I sat center orchestra so I can IMMERSE MYSELF IN THE SHOW and the second time, I sat mezzanine right and HONESTLY the theatre is so small that as long as you’re not super to the side, you’ll get an amazing view wherever you are.

ACT I

When the EMPRESS WALKS IN, THAT SHIT SPARKLED LIKE A FUCKING THOUSAND DIAMONDS!?!?!? WOW LINDA CHO WAS ROBBED. The audience also gasped audibly during her entrance

People laughed when they took pictures IDK WHY IT’S SO FUNNY KJDSFS

The Attack (as I’m dubbing it) is so intense and visually stunning, especially the end

Also the “In The Dark of the Night” melody playing!!!!

I also loved the Romanov Sisters “AAAAAHHHHHHH” before the run away

Ok MAX AS GLEB!!! I LOVED HIM he really was more awkward and less poised than Ramin was, at least in front of Anya but just as terrifying and intimidating. I thought he was also funnier sdjfhdsjkhf. The tone of voices were pretty similar too so it was kind of easier to focus on his portrayal, which was amazing overall.

Uhhh once Dmitry comes out, you can’t stop looking at him. JAWLINE. And also he gesticulates a lot sjkfskjj.

Christy really forreal literally has a sparkle in her eye whenever she sings and it’s amazing to witness SHE REALLY IS SUCH A SPECIAL PERFORMER

ISTG, one of these days Derek and John are forreal gonna end up flipping Christy over when they lift her THEY ALMOST DID THE SECOND NIGHT AND I WAS STRESSEDT you legit could see her feet up in the air lmfaaooao

After Anya chases off those hooligans, she points the stick at Dmitry and says, “Come at me, I won’t hurt you.” in this playful almost flirty voice and it gave me......thoughts......

DEREK GETS SO SWEATY AT THE END OF MY PETERSBURG AND IT’S SO FUNNY KFHSKJF also he kind of warbled the last note in both nights but I find it kind of endearing lmao bless him

There are a number of moments where Dmitry just kind of stares at Anya and then kind of catches himself and shakes himself out of it and it’s adorable like “hahahahaha idiot you’re falling in loooooooooooooove”

Uhhh OUAD is even more amazing because the ghost projections extend to the sides of the theatre so like SENSORY OVERLOAD I cried metaphorically

Watching the ensemble is so fun, when you can look away from Derek/Christy for a few seconds (WHICH IS HARD TO DO) lmfaoo, and in “We’ll go from There”, when it’s Dmitry’s turn to sing and he’s just hanging on the train rails, I was watching the two smoker girls (one played by Lyrica aka Odette/Ballerina), and at first, they have these disgusted looks that slowly turn into “Oh no, he’s hot” and LYRICA ESPECIALLY had that “gosh, he’s actually really cute” AND IT’S HILARIOUS (and I told Lyrica when I met her at stagedoor and she laughed a lot, saying she and Sarah have a lot of fun doing that scene)

OTP: DMITRY x BATHTUBS FOREVER

Stay, I Pray You gets me on a deep personal level because the immigrant connection is real (”You are all I know. You have raised me.” WHEN WILL I NOT CRY!?!?!?) , also I love numbers where everyone just sings classic choral style also the harmonies at the end PHEW

Also CONSTANTINE’S VOCALS

Journey to the Past. No words tbh other than MAGICAL.

ACT II

PARIS HOLD THE KEY TO YOUR HEART IS SO FUN AND THE ELEVATOR RIDE UP TO THE EIFFEL TOWER IS SO FUCKING FUN!!!

I appreciate Land of Yesterday so much more as a visual performance because Caroline O’Connor is amazing. Her wit and her PHYSICAL STAMINA

MBP is one regal HBIC and Close the Door made me EMO

TCATCM is always such a hoot and John and Caroline are amazing together, the audience really just eats it up

IN A CROWD!!!! OF FUCKING THOUSANDS!!!!

Christy’s delivery of “I remember” has gotten much softer it seems, and then they both kind of stare at each other for awhile, as if really realizing who each other is before they CRASH INTO EACH OTHER RIP ME

*cue the disappointed sounds of the audience when Dmitry pulls back. SAME, MY DUDES*

also they both let out really audible gasps before Dmitry pulls back and it’s so !!!!!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!?!?!?

When Dmitry kneels down, the background turns into this starry sky AND THE FULL EFFECT OF IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND I WAS AWESTRUCK

I always get so emo when character’s leitmotifs play but ANYWAYS when the Dowager came out, you can tell she just looked so done and tired AND IT BROKE MY HEART (she looked regal af though)

When Dmitry comes RUNNING OUT and just kind of looks around and you know he’s searching for Anya THE silly boy and then Vlad spots him and he’s fixing him up while he acts like a disgruntled son lmflaks

ANYA’S ENTRANCE IN THE ICONIC BLUE DRESS fuck, the sparkles on that dress is so mesmerizing and SHE WAS GLOWING but she only had eyes for Dmitry right when she found him and has this fond look on her face AND SDKJFHSKJ SHE LOVES HIM FLALSMA

I didn’t really cry cuz during both performances (I was TOO HAPPY TO SEE THIS ALL COME TO LIFE BEFORE MY EYES) BUT I did get super emotional when Vlad sang “Meant to Be” becaue HE JUST LOOKED SO HEARTBROKEN FOR BOTH HIS CHILDREN!?!?!?

QUARTET AT THE BALLET is one of my favorites AND I LOSE MY SHIT EVERY TIME!!!! Also LYRICA!!!!! What an amazing dancer and I found it really nice that it was a show within a show and they had their own curtain call for this

Uh, when Dmitry checks in on the Dowager and Anya during their reunion, he has a little smile on his face before he angstily walks away (and out of Anya’s life forever!!! Or so he thought, haha that fool)

The Anya/Gleb confrontation is always such a cool and emotional scene, especially when the Romanov ghosts also step back behind

After Gleb decides to let Anya go, and the Romanovs/Officers leave and you see them carry a body, as if physically and metaphorically burying the past IT’S SO. WOW. HAUNTING AND EVOCATIVE AND I THINK ABOUT IT A LOT

When Anya finds Dmitry and he kind of takes her in for a bit before going all emo on her and Anya kind of has this fond smile before getting all sad once he says, “I can’t be in love with someone I can’t have for the rest of my life” like GOD, YOU’RE A FOOL BUT I LOVE YOU!?!?!?

“*softly* I’m not your prince, Anya.”

*cue my tears*

THE KISS!!! SO MUCH CHEERING And lmao whenever Christy grabs his suitcase to step on it, IT’S SO HILARIOUS because even in her heels she’s almost eye level with Derek (a real testament to how big of a height difference they have)

After Dmitry pulls away, they both have dazed smiles on and kind of look at each other for a beat longer RIP ME

EVEN AFTER ANYA TAKES HIS ARM AND THEY KEEP SMILING AT EACH OTHER AND IT’S SOOO!!! CUTE!!! I LOVE ROMANCE!!!

The finale gets me so emo, the Dowager’s “Still...” and her opening the music box AND THE ROMANOV SPIRITS ALL COME OUT AND THEN THEY ALL ROTATE LIKE AN ACTUAL MUSIC BOX!!!! IT’S BEAUTIFUL

Also the bridge in the background changes from being real, to a PAINTING as if to really add to the fairytale effect of DIMYA WALKING TO THEIR FUTURE and then when it goes, “Far away...” IT CHANGES TO A SNOWY SCENE AND I!!! LOSE MY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stage door. K so honestly, I appreciate all of them so much they are all so nice and gracious AND DESERVE ALL THE LOVE AND PRAISE!!!!

Max was so nice (SUPER HANDSOME) and I told him that he was really funny as Max and he laughed skdjskjf

Nicole came out next and she’s adorable, protect her forever!!!!

Lyrica is WOW BEAAUTIFUL TBH and I told her she’s an amazing dancer and she said how she has so much fun doing the ballet (also she has the most legible signature and I respect that lmaoo)

Caroline O’Connor is a delight and is so nice and I told her that I love her jokes and her high kicks skjfhskdjfh and she laughed and she thanked me for buying the program lmfaoo that was cute

Mary Beth also came out and is so elegant and precious and Zach was following after her because he was carrying some box (??? hers??? WHO KNOWS)

I’m lame and exclaimed, “You’re the music box!!!” when it was Zach’s turn to sign and he was all, “How did you know!?!?!? We have an avid fan over here, guys!” sdkjfhskjfh and I honestly would love to see his Dima cuz he’s really witty and a good egg.

I told John that he was the real winner in my heart and he laughed and said how they really enjoy making the vlogs and I jokingly asked when the next season was and he was very ;)))) about it SO THAT’S EXCITING BECAUSE I WANT MORE ROYAL MISFITS FOREVER!!! I also told him he deserved a full pack of gum sjkfhsjk and he said that he doesnt even like gum sjkdfsh

Derek is unreal beautiful and lmao the thirst for him by everyone is real but he’s so nice with everyone. I just told him that his vocals in Quartet are particularly amazing sdfjhsjkfh and he laughed adorably (ok, everything he does is adorable lbr). I was kind of a mess trying to take a pic with him but he was really patient while I got my shit together and flkaoska he’s so tall he had to crouch down quite a bit (sorry for my shortness, my dude). Anyway, both pics turned out slightly blurry because???? He just has that effect, I guess!

Christy went last and lmao, I wonder if they purposely plan it that way now because of how long she takes interacting with each fan. Even the security guard was impressed with how much she loves doing the stage door lmao. She really is as precious as you expect and I pretty much babbled my love for Anastasia and for her AT her because SHE’S EVERYTHING AND IS A LITERAL PRINCESS and emanates so much love and kindness. I asked for a pic and I’m such an awkward ass turtle, trying to decide which way would provide better lighting lmao she offered to do hold the phone instead and I didn’t even realize she was taking so many pics lmao. Then I told her I loved her and thanked her for being THE BEST ANASTASIA A FAN CAN HOPE FOR and we hugged and she thanked me for coming and told me my hair smelled good sdkjfskf. The second night is when I gave her my gift (lmao, it’s supposed to be a giant easter egg that I painted with some candy in it but the top half came off when she was taking it out, hence why she’s only holding half of it in the picture akhad) and she’s honestly like a little kid with how excited she was about it and even held it out so the other peeps could see lolol. She saw the treats inside and I told her how I know she loves snacking and she kind of went on about the pocki sticks she was eating backstage (which she pronounces, “poke-y” lmaoo so I didn’t know what she was talking about til like, a day later) and how they’re so addicing lmao I love one (1) backstage snacker. And she keeps saying how they have the best fans and I’m like, “UH!!! YOU GUYS DESERVE IT, HONESTLY!!!!” and she does the “Awwww!!!” face (y’all know the one). OH she also tried guessing where I was from but I kind of blurted it out before she could and she was so “SEE, I WAS GONNA SAY ‘CALIFORNIA’! I shouldn’t have even asked!” lmao. I gushed at her again, thanked her and probably told her I loved her again before I finally said goodbye lmao.

I’m probably missing a lot of stuff, honestly it’s a blur and I’m trying to finish this up before I pass out from a food coma but ANYWAYS! 20/10 would fucking recommend, I love this musical so goddamn much and the cast and literally every one involved they’re all so talented and it will always hold a special place in my goddamn heart!!! *a million crying emojis*

THE IDOLM@STER SideM 3rdLIVE TOUR report - Makuhari Day 1

In a nutshell: IT WAS FKING AMAZING

As I’m typing this my SideM timeline is being flooded with adorable photos by the cast members ahjdgGskljh and they’ve published the set list for today’s concert so please have a look.

INCOHERENT SCREAMING UNDER THE CUT also pls note that i refer to the cast members by their given nicknames :3c

First of all, i did NOT expect the concert to be FOUR HOURS LONG. I mean i knew it’d be longer than the standard 2 hours because well, 16 groups??? And it was absolutely amazing from start to finish so it didn’t even feel that long goddddd i’m so grateful that i got to watch it ;___;

Since the set list is available for all to see i’ll just jot down some commentary...

I only realised today that the seat i got assigned for today’s LV was in the FIRST ROW, DEAD CENTER and while this would be great at a concert, i generally prefer the back row at the cinema bc being so close to the screen is actually really uncomfortable. You get a sore neck from looking up and the edges of the screen are outside your field of vision...... but i count myself lucky just to have a seat so there’s that. As it was my first SideM concert i also sorta wanted to be able to watch the people in front of me wrt what to do.... thankfully i’d seen enough footage of SideM live events to have a rough idea of the calls, etc.

Anyway, onto the actual event. Yamamura was the first to appear, going over the guidelines and rules of the concert. He mentioned that there wouldn’t be an interval, to make time for more songs! (The audience cheered lol)

The whole cast of 46 members came onto stage for the opening talk and introductions. After that, DraSta was the first to perform (Starlight Celebrate). As a DraStaP this made me happy ^^ But i was surprised that they were singing the Starting Line songs, which made me wonder if the rest of the groups would do the same.... (They actually did, but some sang the first song in their starting line singles while others sang the 2nd song???) Shugon and Taso were amazing live and delivered solid performances as usual. Taku was a bit inconsistent, but maybe the nerves got to him.

Beit’s Tomorrow Diamond - I LOVE their outfits so much!!!!!!!! So princely and sparkly T_T At one part while the camera was on Ume he fucking BIT HIS GLOVE and the whole room SCREAMED hsjdsshagah idk maybe it was coming loose and he was trying to adjust it but anyway he killed like half the people in the theater. Also at the end of the song Ume knelt on one knee and made a gesture like he was holding out an engagement ring and everyone died lmao i was so mad i actually said out loud YOU CAN'T DO THAT and the person next to me laughed. Oh and apparently the white gloves were a new addition to their prince outfits (according to Horieru). Maybe they were there just so Ume could bite them and kill some people smh

Cafe Parade’s Reversed Masquerade - zombie dance! They are so cute T_T I would watch a whole musical performed by them....... The groups in the 3rd Anniversary Disc 01 (Cafe Parade, Alte, Legenders) all got to sing their new songs, but sadly not the collab song.Eternal Phantasia.

Shinsoku’s Burning Cool de Kagayaite - I loooooooooooove watching these two, their outfits are gorgeous and badass and Machuyan is irl suzaku GOD HE IS SO TALL AND TONED... Doing the “oi oi oi!” call was super fun >< Fukamachi had so much fun that he forgot to sing one of his lines lmao

Sai came up next but it was a BRAND NEW SONG which had everyone was in a mild panic bc we couldn’t recognise the song intro and were like W-WHAT COLOUR DO WE SET OUR PEN LIGHTS TO??? until they appeared on stage and then it hit us that OH MY GOD IT’S A NEW SOOOOOONG lol. Later during the talk segment Yamashita Daiki said that he was trying his best not to laugh at the audience’s visible confusion at the start of the song wwwwwwww

Jupiter appeared next on stage and we just SCREAMED because JUPITER!!!!! And screamed louder because Over AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It;s so good to have the whole team here, esp when Touma and Hokuto were absent for 2nd Live T_T

S.E.M - Study Equal Magic. My other honmei unit.... I’m SO HAPPY that i got to do the takenoko dance with everyone <333333333 Yoshiki lost a lot of weight and looks really good..... From what i could see from his twitter he lost heaps of weight rapidly so a lot of us were worried but i think he mentioned recently that he switched to the bulk up phase and he looked fit and healthy on stage which is a relief. Totto actually flubbed one of his lines 8D;;;;;;

HiJo - JOKER All Mighty. Another song i’m super happy to get to participate in!!! Though at the cinema we were swinging our penlights instead of towels. They’re all so cute ;;;;;;;; Nogami sounded amazing live too. Naganyan and Hirohiro didn’t disappoint and gave us some Natsuki/Jun fanservice 8)

KOGADO’S FIGHT SCENE WAS RIDICULOUSLY BADASS WTF and mostly choreographed by Hime apparently??????? They still hold the title of SideM’s action unit....... Also I love Hamanon so much, he gave SO MUCH fanservice to the cameras........ blowing kisses, making and serving ramen (twice, lol), making hugging gestures........ Hamanon is a national treasure >< Also Hime dyed his hair silver and got extensions (ponytail) to match Ren <333

Speaking of Hime, he ended his (very cute) message to the audience by switching to Ren mode and saying “Baaaaaaaka” which the audience LOVED lol but F-LAGS were next and Sanpei-san was like “Wow aren’t Kogado just lovely” LOL

I was excited to see Legenders ofc as they’re my third tantou unit but tbh i’m not in love with their new song Symphonic Brave. Ig i should be happy that they’ve moved on from emo (but sexy) to more uplifting songs ;w; But the moodiness was what drew me to Legenders in the first place.... and I love Amehiko’s voice in the darker songs...

Kaleid TOURRHYTHM. I feel SO blessed to get to hear this T_T The full Jupiter team with W..... i love this song sm.........

When it was W’s turn during the talk segment, Kikuti actually started tearing up as he was overwhelmed by gratitude;;;;; Yamati (and the audience) kept cheering him on but he couldn’t stop crying...... my baby T___T W also went to hug Jupiter bc they were so happy that all three were present! We feel you!!!

Fun! Fun! Festa! was another super fun song to chant along with. Horieru had Kaerru with him and they made such a cute pair.... TakaP did The Wink at the camera and killed the remaining half the people in the cinema lol just arrest everyone from Beit tbh. Oh and Ume did the MAKUHARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII thing again wwwwwwwwwwwwwww

F-LAGS got to ride the trolleys around the corridor between the 2nd and 3rd floors while performing Yumeiro Voyager :D I’m sure it was a treat for everyone sitting in those seats! Sanpei-san kept making lovehearts with her hands at the camera sajhgf;ag;dka i love her sm ;_______; She also tweeted a couple of days ago that she dyed her hair green to match Ryouchin.... she is an angel....

Mofu Mofu En took full advantage of the cameraman that was on stage with them and made lots of adooooooorable faces at the camera, killing lots of people as well......

Natsujikan Graffiti!! Every time the camera zoomed in on Shiraim (and Matsuoka, for that matter) there would be giggles wwwww Those two are just so awkward and funny and lovable wwwwwwww Anyway, they released a few giant balloons during this song, for the audience to bounce around to each other. I thought it was a pretty neat gimmick that matched the party tone of the song.

Ryuusei Parade was next and i legit whispered “yabai” when the intro played....... All my fav groups in one song T____T It was amazing, as expected,,,

S.E.M performed From Teacher to Future next, and I’m not sure if it was intentional or not but Enokiya tripped and fell right at the start of the song lol.

HiJo caused a stir when they too appeared on the trolleys for Sunset Colours. They threw what looked like squishy toy (foam?) balls at the audience as they were wheeled around the venue. I was jealous ^q^ Shiraim mimed playing the drums with some balloons that were attached his trolley as decorations wwwwwwwww Why is he so weird wwwwwwwwwwww

Omg, this next part SHOOK US ALL. The intro for Alice or Guilty started playing and we were all like “Omg??? Really???!!!!!!!?????” then Jupiter appeared on stage in their 961 black jackets and we SCREAMED bc we could not fking believe what was happening!!! The person next to me started crying... I was just in shock the entire time....... After the song ended the stage screen showed Jupiter’s logo from their 961 years transforming into 315′s Jupiter logo and we LOST OUR SHIT. I actually yelled when i saw some stagehands go on to the stage to help Jupiter change into their green jackets, then the intro for BRAND NEW FIELD kicked in and by then everyone was in tears ;____; Jupiterrrrrrrrrrr you’ve come so far....... we love you.........

DraSta performed Arrive To Star (Shugon was srsly Teru the entire time, i love him sm!!!!), after which the whole cast joined them on stage in 3rdLive outfits (the same ones in the Live on Stage game!!) to sing Reason!!. We screamed when the screen displayed a new group illustration of all 16 units in the Reason!! outfits T________T They’d commissioned new artwork just for today’s concert aaaaahhhhhhh

The last song was BeyoDori, where I once again wished that i had 6 pairs of eyes to catch everything that was happening (the stage is very full with 46 ppl lol). Kuma-chan stays in the air for so long when he jumps.................

Break for encore. President Saitou appeared on screen to update us on new releases and announcements, after which the cast returned to the stage to perform GLORIOUS RO@D and DRIVE A LIVE.

Other random things

Kanbara-san is very generous with his “Chao <3″ ughhhh i loVE HIM and every time he throws an “Angel-chan and Angel-kun <3″ at us i just love him even more

Sanpei-san running onto the center stage after being provoked by Murase lol but being disappointed that her teammates didn’t join her

Kuma-chan egging on the audience to do Massan’s “Kawaii!” call, much to Massan’s embarrassment wwwwwwww

Enokiya being as dry and snarky as usual

Shugon’s smile is 10000000000000000000000 watts, have i mentioned that i love him? He also blew a few kisses at the camera and i died over and over again ugh take him away

SUPER EXCITED for the France shuffle team! I love everyone in that group T_T Teru, Hideo, Amehiko, Suzaku.... They also showed us a bit of the new song where they’re all dressed in blue and white military(?)/knight outfits. (Edit: OMFG I LOGGED ONTO LIVE ON STAGE APP AND THEY’VE ALREADY IMPLEMENTED THE GACHA FOR FRANCE EVENT I’M DYING)

Kasama-san was such a gentleman in both of his messages/talk time... how is he real........

During talk time Machuyan put his arm around Kobapyon’s shoulders and they looked so cosy lmao i wish for something similar to happen with Suzaku and Saki-chan SUZAKU GOOD LUCK

The 3rdLive outfits are REALLY cute >< Unlike in the LOS game, each unit has their own twist on the outfit (eg Cafe Parade has frilly shirts, S.E.M has black shirts) and even within units each character’s outfit is unique (Jirou's short sleeves, Michiru has a headband etc)

There’s so much more but this is all i can remember for now and i need to sleep to recharge for tomorrow’s LV!!! I’ll do another report for tomorrow too!

I’ll just leave some predictions for tomorrow’s set list (wishful thinking):

DraSta - Dramatic Nonfiction, Sayonara SumHol

SEM - Moon Night, Infinite Possibilities (or even duet of SSH and MunNai?!)

Legenders - ALL THREE OF THEIR SONGS PLS AND THANKS

If it’s another 4-hour show........ maybe all their solos? God that would be amazing *whimpers*

Everything Fades - Chapter IX

A Jungkook story inspired by Kimi no Na wa

Summary: Once in a while when I wake up, I find myself crying. The dream I must’ve had, I can never quite remember. Yet, the sensation that I’ve lost something important always lingers for a long time…

Her: Just a normal day in my boring, calm li- HOLY SHIT I’M IN JEON JUNGKOOK’S BODY.

Him: Alright, let’s go to prac- WAIT WHY DO I HAVE BOOBS?

Chapter IX – Headline: Baby Bunny Attacks Six Grown Men

I’ve been forcing a smile for the last 30 minutes, nodding at strategic moments to show a pretence of i-know-what-I’m-doing-ness.

“Your following is known for its great loyalty and involvement,” the interviewer says, in English. “How do you explain that?”

“BTS are the most talented and adorable puppies on Earth and they actually invented friendship,” I internally shout.

Namjoon answers with a proud grin that it’s a mix of a lot of things: from the stories they tell to their sincerity and adaptation capacity.

“Well, that too.”

The interview goes on, and I have to pretend I don’t fully understand what’s going on (and that I don’t have a very strong opinion on some of the questions). A few times, though, the interviewer says some words, and I don’t quite remember what they mean. I know that my English comes back as the hours pass, but the feeling is still odd.

“What if we moved on to the talent segment?” the woman asks.

“Wait what.”

“Oh, right,” Namjoon says, turning to us with raised eyebrows.

“Let’s do oldest to youngest!” I blurt out, and everyone turns to me.

“Maybe I should’ve said that more casually...”

“Why? Do you want to outshine us at the very end or something?” Jin asks dramatically, and a few people chuckle.

“No, that’s not it! I just-”

“I have no talent...? Okay that’s not true... I just have no talent I can show in a 1-minute segment to the world wide web.”

“I- uh- I need... to prepare... for mine. Yeah.”

The members seem intrigued. They end up allowing my request.

As everyone performs, my mind runs wild. I mentally go back on every kpop interview I’ve seen.

“Imitations? Gods, no...”

I get distracted often, but, I mean, could anyone resist staring at Park Jimin giggling on the floor because of one of Jin’s stupid puns? Or watching Jung Hoseok dance live?

As Taehyung sings a traditional lullaby in a heavy metal style (don’t ask, I don’t know either), an idea hits me.

Good thing, because 20 seconds later, everybody’s eyes are on me.

“Are you ready, Jungkook-ssi?”

I offer a hesitant nod but I slowly stand up.

In the air, there’s apprehension. In my head, there are incoherent screams.

I clear my throat, then concentrate on getting my voice an octave higher.

“Noona~” I begin, and I puff my cheeks. “Noona~ I think I’m sick...”

Someone gasps behind me.

“I don’t wanna go to work today,” I continue while exaggeratedly shaking my head. “I wanna stay with you...”

A pout.

“Pretty please?”

I slowly look up at the camera.

“Will you take care of me?”

I tilt my head.

There’s a long silence in the studio.

“So...” I tentatively let out. “Was that okay?”

I turn back to the members; it’s like a signal, and a peculiar chain reaction follows.

Namjoon walks away and goes face the wall as Hoseok bursts out laughing, next to Yoongi, who is curling into a ball. Jin is silently screaming while holding on to Taehyung, who froze and seems unable to move, and Jimin is staring at me, appearing to be offended on a personal level.

“...I think I just disturbed the balance of the universe.”

The interviewer is chuckling as she watches the members’ reactions, and I’m unsure of what to do with myself, so I just walk back to my place.

As soon I sit down, Park Jimin begins to punch my arm repeatedly as I blankly look around at the staff, who is all smiles.

“What was that?” Namjoon shouts from the distance.

“aaaAHhhhHH!” Jin answers.

Yoongi glances at me, nose scrunched and eyes squinted.

“I...” I utter. “Uh- Sorry?”

“AaaaAhhHHhhH!!” Jin says.

“It was very cutely done, Jungkook-ssi,” the very amused interviewer assures.

I force my lips to curl up. “Thank you...”

There’s another silence, and I absentmindedly try to stop Jimin, who’s still hitting me - with questionable force - every few seconds.

The interviewer clears her throat. “You guys appear to have many thoughts on Jungkook-ssi’s talent. Does anyone want to further comment on it?”

“It was pretty impressive!” Hoseok admits with a grin.

“Impressive?” Namjoon says, finally deciding to go back to his chair. He gives me a long glare. “I suppose you could say that...”

“Jungkookie rarely does aegyo,” Yoongi explains, still cringing. “At least, not in this manner. It was... surprising.”

“What prompted you to choose that, today, Jungkook-ssi?” the interviewer inquires.

“Hm...”” I let out. “Well...”

“It’s the only decent-ish thing I could come up with, since I’m not some golden child who can freaking sing and dance... and rap... and play sports... AND be handsome and cool but also sweet... and-”

“Jungkook-ssi?”

“Oh- I- I felt like it,” I answer.

Everyone stares, and I feel like there might be another explosion.

“I guess that could happen,” the interviewer says. “Shall we move on?”

“Yes!” I’m the first to answer.

And we move on. Still, until the end, I keep catching a member or another stealing a glance at me.
