Magulo akong tao. Kapag pagod ay hinahanap ang pahinga pero kapag nabigyan ng pagkakataon ay naiinip naman dahil walang ginagawa. Isang dahilan na siguro ang kagustuhang maraming gawin nang sabay-sabay ngunit imposible, syempre. Eh ako naman ‘tong ambisyosa, kaya naiinis kapag walang magawa.

Ang hirap ipaintindi sa sarili na ayos lang na itahimik muna ang utak pero kasi, bakit nakakakonsensya? Nasanay na lang siguro ako, saklap.

I have so much love, care, and compassion to give. Totoo ito. Nag-uumapaw pa nga. Ngunit, totoo din naman na wala akong kapangyarihan gawin ang lahat. Kaya matagal din bago ako naging mabait sa sarili ko (hanggang ngayon, hindi iyon mai-aalis sa akin… nasa sistema ko na yata).

Ang hirap din kasing kalabanin ang sarili. Kaso wala rin namang choice. Kailangan lumaban pero hindi naman ito magagawa kung magulo ang utak. Matagal bago ko natutunan ang kahalagahan ng pagpapahinga ng utak at katawan. Kailangan ito para makabangon muli. Kahit papaano, I needed to touch some grass, to be one with nature. Para sa sarili ko, sa mga pangarap ko, para sa pagmamahal na gusto kong ibuhos… sa pamilya, kaibigan, at kung kanino man. 

Ang damo ay berde kahit saan. Hindi ko lang nakita noon dahil sa maingay, maulap, at okupadong utak at paligid. Masaya ako, kontento… ngunit bilang ambisyosa ay nangangarap pa rin naman. Ang kailangan ko ay ako upang makita ang opurtinadad sa lahat ng bagay. 

Mahirap pa rin itatak sa utak pero ang hakbang na ito ay isa sa mga bagay na panghahawakan ko. There are so much things to look forward to because grass is green everywhere. Tahimik, payapa at kalmado. Kailangan lang natin lumingon paminsan-minsan at pagkatapos ay laban muli! Para sa pag-ibig.

For the very first time ever, Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo and SB19 will perform “Ace Your World” live! The song #AceYourWorld, streaming on YouTube, was written and composed by Radkidz, the duo of John Paulo Nase (Pablo) and his brother, Joshua Daniel Nase. Through the song, Sarah G and SB19 hope to encourage everyone to stay strong despite the challenges they face in their lives.

Another exciting collaboration stage will feature rapper Felip and Paradise Rising artist Ylona Garcia. Sarah Geronimo and SB19 will lead the roster of talents on Day 1, along with Urbandub, Al James, and UPeepz. Day 2 will feature KZ Tandingan, Sandwich, Franco, Spongecola, Manila Symphony Orchestra, Daloy Dance Company, Josh Cullen, and Pablo.

found solace in old friends and new friends

Went on a weekend getaway with my high-school friends. After some time of not being able to meet them and be active in our convos, I finally found the time to go out with them again.

We stayed at a hotel in their current town and had the whole place to ourselves so we definitely had fun at the pool, cafe, and the spa. We also got "invited" to a wedding that's why instead of an overnight stay, we needed to stay for 2 days. It was a nice way to catch up and as an added bonus, we have gained a new friend that we met at the hotel we were staying in. We even stayed up until the wee hours jamming to our favorite songs to play since they brought their guitars on our trip. I may or may not have played the guitar and sang my heart out but I felt like I've truly reconnected with my past self when I played with them. There were definitely a lot of John Mayer and Spongecola songs played that night, too. Here's a short preview of Huling El Bimbo and Mundo from the jamming session that night.

As it turns out, our new friend, Sir Tony, was also a toy collector, a hobbyist, and shares the same taste in music as ours. If you haven't already know, me and my friends also like to collect toys. My most valued toy line from all of my toys would be my Lord of the Rings set that's almost complete. I have always wanted to have a diorama for the characters and do toy photography. I was able to share this interest of mine and Sir Tony then brought out his Star Wars collection and his current diorama project which is the Battle of Pelennor Fields (the most spectacular war in the Return of the King). He was trying to convince me to start with the diorama and even provided me the location of where to get it. If only I have the time, I see myself actually doing this but maybe not any time sooner. I don't want to leave this unfinished once I fly out.

Since he previously worked as a sound engineer, he also had connections to the bands and local artists in the music scene that me and my friends look up to ever since we started dreaming way back in high school. He was talking about how he was friends with Franco and Parokya ni Edgar and even one of the members of Slapshock if I remember correctly. I find it fascinating to meet people with the same type of music as I do. He even likes John Mayer, Urbandub, Mr. Big, and Taking Back Sunday which are my favorite artists since high school. I mean who won't? It was fun talking with him regarding his experiences in the music industry and how he sometimes surprises his daughter of how vast his taste in music was. He even shared that he would always have his headphones on and play any loud music that he wants every time his work is done. He got surprised and said I was lucky to be able to witness Linkin Park's last concert here in Manila and be at the hand's reach of Chester and Mike by being at the moshpit. He plans on bringing and establishing the music scene in Batangas as well that's why he supports and encourages my friends to play there every weekend if time permits. He's just too happy that we have the same type in music.

Ain't it fun when you find and feel familiarity in others like you've known them for so long but you only just share the same passion? I like how it feels like I'm seen and understood every time I meet someone with that vibe.

MANILA (December 23, 2023) The two days of the anticipated Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals will not just be filled with Dota 2 and VALORANT action as 26 teams vie for the coveted Predator Shield and the combined prize pool of $200,000. Gaming fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena will be treated to amazing performances by some of the Philippines’ top artists, including Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo and SB19.

Get ready for the special collaboration stage of singer, songwriter, and rapper Felip and Paradise Rising artist Ylona Garcia. Felip, known as Ken, is the main dancer, lead rapper, and vocalist of the phenomenal group SB19. He released his solo debut EP called COM • PLEX early this year. Ylona Garcia is a singer and songwriter under Paradise Rising, a label under 88rising and Globe. One of her songs, titled “Entertain Me,” was released in partnership with VALORANT.

Aside from the Felip-Ylona special collaboration stage, Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo and SB19 will lead the roster of talents on Day 1, along with Urbandub, Al James, and UPeepz.
