Opening Presents on Christmas Day or Eve: My family doesn’t have a tradition of presents with Christmas (we have something called Sinterklaas at the beginning of December in the Netherlands) but since finding my very very British husband and being adopted into his family 10 years ago we now do presents on Christmas Day, as is tradition in his family.

Favourite Holiday Song: Ever since we once were in the bus on our way to my husbands family in England and they were playing “Driving home for Christmas” that has been my favourite, because it takes me back to that memory.

Hi guys! How is it a Monday already?! 😅 I hope you find some stress relief with this donut meditation. My only regret is that I cannot give you a real donut to relieve all the mondaynesss. . . Some of you may know that I've been doing daily meditations using the @calm app. Yesterday I reached my 1 year daily streak. Not all days were great or perfect. Not all days consisted of 10 minute meditations. In fact, I've even had days where 1 minute was all I had but it still counted as a success for me. It was my small victory and also a practice for me to forgive myself and be ok with whatever and however I showed up. . . Meditation has been an incredible healing and rewarding journey for me. And it's also taken me many years of in and out of practice to finally find something that sticks and works. I'm not completely anxiety free, but I am able to regain my peace and calm much faster than a year ago. . . Do you meditate? If yes, what's your favorite way?
