Yes. I'd be a hypocrite to say I don't.

But it doesn't mean I act like this. It doesn't mean I can't still be respectful and appreciative of his music and his art. (And also realize he isn't the sole person in the band and it would not be the same if any one of them would not be in it) People need to learn how to do that. People need to give a shit about artists and not view them as goods made for consumption. Because frankly that shit is disgusting and terrifying to witness.

L.S. Dunes is a band. It's not Frank's new project. It is a band made up of friends that make music they genuinely love. Why is that so hard to understand?

All of them are there because they were the first choice. They are all equally important.

Hey so has anyone else thought about the fact that the whole 'Your mother said those words to me', 'That's what happened to mom...', 'Summer Rose was captured by Salem and has most likely been subjected to horrific grim-hybrid experimentation' revelation(s) is something that really ONLY Team RWBY has been privy to and also haven't really gotten the chance to actually TELL anyone, at least anyone who would recognize the full import of that information (ie; Oz or Qrow) until... basically NOW?

I mean, yeah the Ace-Ops were present for Salem's epic 'Yo mama', but between that having a LOT less significance to them as it did to Team RWBY and, well... everything ELSE that happened before and after, I kinda doubt the new Team MEH really remembers it at this point.

And yeah, Willow and Whitley were there for the Hound's big reveal, but remember that they weren't exactly positioned to get a good look at the person inside it like Ruby, Weiss and Blake were. I imagine any recounting those two might do of those events don't describe the Hound in any more detail then 'there was a GUY in there, it was pretty fucked up'.

And it seems that while Blake did tell Yang about the Hound, I've always gotten the sense she told Yang only. Given that Blake clearly mentioned the silver eyes to Yang, I imagine that Blake recognized that this had very serious and very personal implications for Yang, and thus told her privately.

And obviously after that it's not like Team RWBY had the time to actually tell ANYONE else about this before they fell into the Ever After.

What I'm saying is that we can expect a very, very, VERY AWKWARD conversation between Team RWBY and their close friends and allies in the future.

You know, on TOP of the conversation that RUBY is going to have to wrestle out of Raven.

Muffled screaming. Everyone has it backwards

Oz is Darkness and Salem is Light.

Something something destruction is just the cycle of life. It's to clear out the old and replace it with the new. It's to learn and live and die and be reborn. Oz is Darkness, because he lives and he dies and he is reborn. He tears down the old (abolishing monarchies and militaries) and replaces it with what's new (the Academies, a council). He is demonized every time he does his best to help. He believes humanity shouldn't be punished for his mistakes. He offers choice and even knowledge (but not always; but choice is one thing he values above all else). He offers magic as a gift and a tool to use. He learns and grows from his mistakes. He's willing to concede and admit when he's done wrong.

Salem is Light. She is unchanging, undying. She does not age. She believes humanity is lost without Gods, that humanity, while strong, is a fraction of what it once was. She brings life (creating and modifying Grimm). She heals those who need it (Cinders arm, telling Watts to give Tyrian a new tail). But she's stubborn. She's cruel and terrifies people. She manipulates when deemed necessary. She wants to create a new world, one where she's the sole goddess. She hates Oz's gifts to humanity (possibly aura/semblances if my theory is right). She encroaches on Oz's territory and terrorizes those who side with him, and even those who aren't affiliated with him. She's petty and angry and a hypocrite.

I just. Sits down. They're Darkness and Light. They do hold qualities of the other (Salem is Grimm and destructive, Oz is Light and creates things), but it's like how Darkness can create life and Light can destroy.
