hello caratblr <3 (and also any hybe group-blr!)

i don’t usually say anything on here, but i wanted to share this for my fellow seventeen photocard collectors, as the 17 Right Here comeback is just around the corner. as you may know, there is an ongoing target HYBE BOYCOTT for their hand in working with z10nists. here are some of the key points:

(1) The one (and currently only) CEO of Hybe-America is Scooter Braun, a whole raging z10nist who continues to try to push his pro-1sr4el stance on his artists and following. (2) HYBE signed a 10 yr contract with Universal Music Group (UMG), whose CEO is Lucian Grainge. lucian grainge, his wife, and other people within the umg company and friend groups openly/proudly have been and continue to fund various pro-israel and z1ionist organizations --they are not for Palestine. umg is the main distributor for signed albums during hybe artist comebacks, at least in America.

it’s super critical for us fans to continue to boycott hybe and email/show hybe that we do NOT stand on the side of Zionism. thus, it is important to NOT buy any hybe signed albums, or any albums at all.

so if anyone is interested, here is an open group order for 17 Right Here album pc replicas (still open as of 4.21.24) so we aren’t giving HYBE money!!! here is the link to the go (on instagram): LINK

so far, the group order manager has updated that people have ordered just under $35k worth of replicas, which is honestly so insane!!! like WOW OKAY already putting a huge dent in HYBE’s wallet!!!!! remember that we can still support and show love to svt/our other fav hybe groups without buying albums/merch and giving money to hybe.

💫𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 2023💫

2023 has been a year to say the least so lets get into this 😂. As usual this is in no particular order cause I cant handle putting these into a proper order.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬:

1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞 (2022).

I watched this on a whim and boy am I glad I did. The female lead is so unhinged but in the best way and our main guy is so in love with her I cant. Literally this drama was such a fun time and everything connected together so well. Just watch this drama pls.

2. 𝐁𝐨 𝐑𝐚! 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡 {𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞} (2023).

Yoo In Na shines and I love the character growth that both the leads go through, everything that happens makes sense and it really does show that working on yourself isnt a linear process. There will be set backs but you can over come them. I tend to not care for side couples but I loved all of them in this, they were just hilarious or adorable.

3. 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧 (2023).

I wasnt going to watch this drama but thankfully instagram reels made me interested enough to give this a chance. I love all 4 of the leads, they are my babies and they deserve all the happiness in the world.

4. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐅𝐥𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 (2023).

This was such a cute, fun drama. I didnt expect to love it as much as I did, the family dynamics, friendships, everything was so well done and the 2 couples were the cutest.

5. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 (2023).

Literally Instagram reels made me watch this and I do not regret it. The melodrama, romance, revenge, plot twists... Everything was such a wild ride, I recommend that everyone watches it.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐍𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:

1. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 ~ 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧.

The irony, I always said that I wouldnt stan a group with more than 7 members 😂. Honestly I was just seeing too many funny reels about SVT and then I watched the Game Caterers videos without even knowing all of their names and Super was everywhere that I just fell into the rabbit hole that is Seventeen.

2. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 ~ 𝐉𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐨.

My bias came and she ate. I love this song and it showed in my top 2023 songs its at number 6... The top 5 are all Taylor obviously.

3. 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 ~ 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐤.

He came and took over the world. Nothing more to say about that.

4. 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦 ~ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐧.

Yall need to stop sleeping on Enhas japanese discography. This song is just so sweet and wonderful. I cant with it.

5. 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 ~ 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐦.

I just loved this whole song and the album too. Next LSF comeback when?!.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:

So last time I only had the vault tracks but Speak Now was the album that made me a swiftie so not limiting myself to just the vault tracks this time.

1. 𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.

This is my absolute favourite song. It is just such a masterpiece and can be related to in any situation.

2. 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.

I love this song so much, I have a one shot of the same name 😂.

3. 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐅𝐥𝐲.

Im a hopeless romantic okay.

4. 𝐈𝐬 𝐈𝐭 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐰.

Do I even need to explain myself with this.

5. 𝐒𝐥𝐮𝐭!.

Most definitely not what I was expecting but I love it so much.

5 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝:

1. Bestie got married, shes happy and Im happy for her. It was a proper desi wedding and it was good fun.

2. I FINALLY graduated from University😂. Only took me like 5 years, one failed attempt and repeating my third year.

3. Made some great friends from the school I worked at, we bonded over how messed up the school we worked at is.

4. Managed to travel and have such great experiences.

5. Im happy with the fanfics I wrote this year. Still shocked that people actually read and enjoy the stuff I write but Im immensely grateful for all the love and support I get.

¹ KIM OK-HWA :

having spent most of their lives by each other's sides, these two are as close as can be

ok-hwa is an honourary kwak family member just as mi-cha is an honourary kim family member

the relationship between these two range from being calm and supportive or chaotic and mean — fans often witness these two bullying each other on instagram or on their shared live streams

with ok-hwa being from a different company (ist entertainment) she is the primary source behind quite a few of mi-cha's idol friends — having met both the dead:alive girls alongside the boyz

there have been multiple rumours about them supposedly dating since they're so physically and emotionally close to each other (both in private and in front of the camera) however it is strictly platonic between the two

² JEON SOYEON :

this friendship is one that blossomed beneath many people's noses

after (g)i-dle's recent comeback, mi-cha had gathered enough courage to reach out to the girl and attempt to be friends

what started as pure respect from one female rapper/producer to another, blossomed into a beautiful new friendship

other than small mentions of the other in either their live streams or their promotional variety shows and interviews, these girls have yet to hang out in person

there's been a small discussion going on between the two about a solo collab between the two of them

³ DEAD:ALIVE :

the girls had met mi-cha through ok-hwa, and due to the girl's close friendship, they were able to meet and hang out with mi-cha quite a lot

near the start of their debut, mi-cha joined ok-hwa with the permission of both the companies to mentor the girls in a sense or help them adjust to the transition from trainee to idol

similar to soyeon, mi-cha naturally gravitated towards tsuki and youngmi since both of the girls are the main rappers of their group, so while ok-hwa works with the main vocals and dancers, mi-cha guides and tries to pass on her wisdom on both writing, technique, and ideas

while she's never said it outwardly to anyone, it's evident to those that know mi-cha that the dead:alive girls (again tsuki and youngmi focused) are her favourite dounsaeng's

mi-cha has lyrical credits on some of the dead:alive songs

⁴ CHOI YEONJUN :

this man may be one of mi-cha's favourite men on the planet

since they're both a part of the 99' line (a group of idols that dino is stringing together with inspiration from jungkook) these two (plus dino) are the 99' trio of hybe

basically, since his debut, yeonjun has been close to mi-cha — this duo has been seen together quite a few times now (breakfast, shopping, schedules, etc.)

their relationship is flirty and teasing, yet platonic — yeonjun loves to tease mi-cha about her height, often bringing up how they're the same age and yet he towers over her

any tiktok challenge you can think of, yeonjun and mi-cha have probably done it together

⁵ THE BOYZ :

now this friendship is a bit of an odd one — mi-cha is close with a small handful of the members (mainly the hyung line) but she considers all of them her friends

sunwoo and eric endlessly flirt with the girl (which proves to be fruitless since she has her eyes on someone already)

chanhee is mi-cha's go-to besides ok-hwa for any realistic advice since she knows he tells the truth no matter how much it hurts to hear it

juyeon and hyunjae are the closest to the girl out of all of the boys — close enough to talk on the daily, and publically open with their friendship, often times gravitating to each other during award shows or events

there may be a little something between her and one of the members, but that conversation is for another time ;)

⁶ ATEEZ 99' LINE :

these boys were mi-cha's chosen members of the 99' line group since dino got to choose quite a few of the people they strung together

being another recently developed friendship, yunho, yeosang, san, mingi, and wooyoung initially made contact with mi-cha after she guest-starred as a judge on immortal songs in december of 2021

wooyoung and san inevitably led the charge to introduce themselves to mi-cha, but yet again, what had drawn her into the group was their talent in both dance and rap (she's a rapper and a rap lover, what can she say)

while she adores mingi (her favourite tall rapper — besides mingyu and wonwoo of course) his height alongside yunho's scares her beyond belief

another friendship that is technically open to the public, yet for the most part overlooked

UGH SUNWOO IN THAT RACER OUTFIT. don’t even get me started i went very very insane when i saw that stage 😭 not to mention that recent i like you dance stage with ateez UGH they were soooo cute and like . i know i am very sunwoo brained but i genuinely stopped breathing when cobie showed up in that funky little hat and his funky little glasses he’s soooo ……not to mention juyeon’s teddy bear backpack and changmin and his pochacco slay with that hat NDBSKFK the fancams for that stage made me inconsolable 😭 apparently when they talked to their stylists for the concept they wanted a “nerdy-loser” look WHICH IS SO HENKFWK that’s cat-coded ….they did it for Me…….

and i did. i Did hear about the sexy concept next comeback which …..i already have one foot in the grave just hearing about it how am i going to survive 😭😭😭 and personally !! ok as much as i loooove darker concepts i kind of want them to have a sort of ….not high-teen concept but sort of like . love me right by exo? like that sporty funky concept! i feel like it would be super fun and tbz are already lowkey sm’s stepsons so HAHA it’s not too much of a shot in the dark :’) like they sort of did it with giddy up but i’d love a more mature take on that concept now that they’re all grown up! i’d also love if they could do another ultra specific concept like they did with battle royale in maverick! what about you, are there any concepts you want them to do again?? and yeah the whole plagiarizing thing was so ….. 😬 like they just handled it badly all around wjfjwkfkwk but at the end of the day it wasn’t even eric’s fault :( he just bought the beat from the producer and while i wish they didn’t sweep the issue under the rug and pretend like nothing happened i also think he doesn’t deserve the heat he was getting from bap fans cause it’s like …there’s nothing he can do about it :”) ahh idk its just a really bad situation to be in.

also soonyoung’s disney princess moment??? no bc the way i would check instagram after a few minutes and he would just keep uploading NEW bird content like? at that point that bird is his….he should have taken it home with him 😭 i haven’t thought of my svt bias line in a long time but i think it’s currently soonyoung jihoon mingyu wonwoo?? with a special mention to cheol whenever he posts boyfriend pics. i am not immune. the way you like members who get bullied LMAO honestly i’m kind of the same?? i mean i bias doyoung and haechan who…. well doyoung is one step away from going crazy with 127 while haechan is maknae on top with 127 but when he’s with the dreamies he gets a taste of his own medicine so BDJAJFJDK not to mention mingyu fighting for his life every single day 😭 “why have a dish when you can have a buffet” LMAOOOO i’m going to use that from now on HAHAH i’m like ….Known to be a resident homie hopper no matter what group i stan

and the sunwoo fic ! funnily enough it was originally a txt yeonjun fic before becoming a hoshi fic to now becoming a sunwoo fic but its like NFBSNFK i think sunwoo is truly this fic’s final form 😭 like everything clicked into place after i transferred this fic to him so hopefully i can actually….finish writing it LOL but the basic premise of it is an exes-to-lovers fic set in idolverse! but it’s kinda like… the fic itself is more “exes” than it is “to-lovers” NDBWJFK but the first scene is yn breaking up with sunwoo, and the rest of the fic details what happens after (and before) that. so it sort of jumps between the past and present to fit in the puzzle pieces of their entire relationship and how it eventually rekindles at the end, but the entire fic carries the sentiment of there being a certain “gravity” between yn and sunwoo, like how gravity is both the reason why a planet circles a star and why they can never fall into one another again,,,, until it does. or something like that HAHA i’m kind of bad at explaining but that’s the general idea!

i hope 2023 treats you well! i’ve also been happier after talking and interacting with you 🥹🫂

a nerdy loser look omg HAHA they did it for you!! it was like total whiplash getting the racer outfits and then the cute ones and like?? they had some outfits for their whisper stages that totally did not fit whisper's concept LOL. although i can't say i was looking at tbz much during the collab stage when choi san was Right There BUT the performance was cute and i was just glad we got some post kingdom interactions :') but omg are all the tbz members your bias wreckers at this point?

OH OKAY WAIT. speaking of exo and tbz HAVE YOU SEEN TBZ'S COVER OF LOVE ME RIGHT???? and call me baby??!?! chanhee sounded so much like baekhyun doing the high notes of LMR and hyunjae has always given me such a baekhyun vibe esp in that call me baby cover SO YEAH sm's step sons indeed!! (also special mention to the four jaehyuns collab of call me baby LOL) and yeahh the battle royale theme was pretty cool but i kinda wish they went a bit deeper into the concept :') i also enjoy the dark concepts!! love love loved drink it (it's my #1 tbz song!!) and i wish that was an Actual Comeback but i guess it's similar to what they did with reveal! i wouldn't mind if they fully went into the vixx level of dark ahaha or something svt's fear... i wouldn't survive it. but if they do pull through with the wings of desire / red string of fate concept for the feb comeback that'd be so so cool 🤞 manifesting it!!

ikr i can't believe a bird just freely did that like... it's not afraid of humans??? wild. hoshi??? also wild. that probs fed into his tiger agenda for years like woOOow he can communicate with animals HAHA. omg it sounds like you bias both ends of the spectrum though... the instigator and the person on the receiving end of the bullying LMAOO. i totally feel you on the homie hopper-ness like i practically do the bias sorter every month and it'll have shuffled around slightly, my buffet is on a rotational bias like a lazy susan :') do fics (reading or writing them) ever influence your bias ranking? or is it more like whoever posts cute pics at the time? bc i see you with those recent bf seungcheol perm pics 👀

and whaaat no way you're turning a yeonjun/hoshi fic into a sunwoo fic... bc i was thinking of writing a hoshi version of one of my sunwoo fics!! and my sunwoo christmas fic was originally written for hoshi too (which... you'll see on my newly exposed svt blog ahaha). guess we all see them as the hot but actually a loser type of character LOL. but ahhh your fic sounds good already, the exes part sounds like it'll be quite angsty but i love that kind of concept! and it sounds like a good opportunity for pretty descriptions and exploring relationship dynamics. ooh are there any tropes or particular things in fics that you like to read/write? ahh anyway i hope your winter break is going well and that find the motivation you need to continue whatever you're working on atm!! 💫

Everyone Hates Nix

nix has learned to be unapologetically herself and that has gotten her into quite a lot of trouble. here's a list of some of her most prevalent scandals

2015-16, Seventeen just debuted. Nix is pretty stoic, almost always with a neutral facial expression and not talking much. She gained a reputation of being cold, and a lot of people hated her, calling her ungrateful and claiming she was mean to the members. PLEDIS did nothing to protect her, but the hate started to go away once Quartz debuted and a new caring side to nix started to come out.

"she never talks during interviews... she must thinks she's all that"

"did you see her during the vlive? she was basically ignoring the members."

"they shouldn't have debuted her, she's too much of a stuck-up bitch that holds the rest of the group back."

Early 2017, Nix went to dinner with some of her ‘96 liner friends, dispatch put out photos, but for some reason pictures of her hugging Ten from NCT circulated a lot. Articles started to come out and they were rumored to be dating. SM put out a statement saying that they were just very good friends.

"She already has thirteen guys to whore herself around too, why does she need more."

"I don't know who this nix bitch is, but she better stay away from ten and nct."

"she's literally disgusting. ten can do so much better."

2017 (don't wanna cry era), some of the other members were doing a vlive, and Nix didn’t know. At one point, Nix can be heard saying “Shut the fuck up,” in the background and people speculated that she was saying it to Joshua. She got hate for swearing and being a bully to the other members. When PLEDIS didn’t defend Nix, the members did, taking to bubble and instagram. Joshua posted a picture that Seungkwan took of him and Nix sleeping on a couch together, with hearts as the caption.

Is known to tell off disrespectful interviewers. She’s corrected them from calling Seventeen a boy-group, being rude to other members/making them uncomfortable, lowkey shades PLEDIS, avoids sexist questions, etc.

“Are we all boys? No? Then we’re not a boy group, don’t call us that.”

“Woozi doesn’t like skinship, leave him alone, you’re not funny.”

“Our company has very talented idols, it’s a shame they don’t get to have many comebacks.”

“That's a dumb question, I’m not answering it.”

2018 ( call call call era), Nix grew in popularity in Japan due to the Japanese comeback and a lot of knetizens thought it was undeserved. This led to a lot of fan wars online and an increase of hate towards Nix in Korea. There was a petition going around to not let her perform at 2018 SBS K-POP AWARDS (where call call call was performed), some ppl straight up left the venue when they got on to perform. There is a viral video that came from this era where Nix is coming out of a van and gets a shoe thrown at her head. The next day Nix posts a selfie of her with a thumbs up and a bruise by her left eyebrow.

December 2018, multiple members posted for Nixs birthday, including Yun. In Yuns post, there are pictures of the two of them at a beach, in bathing suits, raising their hands up. Nix has visible armpit hair in multiple pictures. It goes viral and she faces a lot of backlash for being “unsanitary” and “unladylike.”

2019 (wow thing era), Nix has an ankle injury and can’t perform for a lot of the comeback. PLEDIS opts to terminate Quartz promotions early and fans blame Nix. When Quartz returns in Seventeen for Happy Ending, during a fanmeeting, a saesang confronts Nix about the cancellation of promotions and blames her. Nix gets her hair pulled, but luckily security takes the saesang away before she is seriously harmed. Nix goes backstage for 10 minutes before returning to the fansign.

.December 2019, Christmas/Holiday fanmeeting, a fan brings a mistletoe and tries to kiss her. She avoids it and later a video without context (mistletoe is not included in video) blows up and she is accused of mistreating fans/being ungrateful.

I very much agree with everything you have said, like I do think the bighit deal was more so with the help of say with western connections (which again does NOT mean pledis could have done this without bighit. They clearly could but I saw a theory on a YouTube comment where someone said they focused on the core fanbase aka in Korea which is their main market and it paid off imo) from helping with buisness side of things like we do have merch to buy directly (which I have my opinion on some merch ideas like why the fudge is bighit selling us water!? Bro you thought that worked with bts doesn't mean it will with seventeen) which wasn't common in the past or being able to film concerts with ease during the pandemic. Bighit clearly acknowledges that seventeen is a monster group in their own right I mean as you said, they break records and are 2nd behind bighits own group. They are EXTEMELY big in Japan. They are their own song makers, bang pd confirmed this when pleids was first announced in a press video so the fact people brush all of their achievements and statements because why, their streaming numbers are low?

And oohh such an interesting point as well! Very much i think the current mindset of kpop fans (or at least some) is that streaming is what equals success which to some degree, yes but as you said, many ignore the casual side of listening. People that find the song due to it being viral for whatever reason, a fancam getting popular like in the cass of hani from exid or whatever reason. Dwc is a great example and I saw those comments under their recent performance of that song and it makes me proud that the boys have a song like that. That it has its own "fanbase" quote on quote with how well loved that song simply is and well known. You don't have to have fans doing crazy streaming to be considered "popular", I mean I could give more examples but I don't wanna make this too long nor cause unwanted fandrama lol. Those casual listeners are extremely important and powerful I mean brave girls is a great recent example of that I think! It very much does seem like that when looking at the views, its mainly the core fanbase which isn't bad nor should we feel bad for not having crazy numbers. They seem more organic if that makes sense? Plus I agree, we can stream and can explain how it works, clearing up confusion about it like no emojis don't take down views and yes youtube does take away views but that is due to it making sure it isn't bots only viewing the video. Explaining that streaming should be done with a chill mindset and its ok if you don't stream. But hey, maybe we're too weird of fans to think like this fjajdjajs.

But some few updates! Seventeen is back on Instagram, fully everyone is posting away. Makes me happy hehe m, a bit funny it took so long for them to comeback but am happy nonetheless. The interactions that seungkwan does makes me super soft. Seventeen are also back with doing proper promotions so yay (also pledis is S Wording people over the mingyu issue finally so bless). As for me on the personal side of things. I have OFFICIALLY finished that video game ^_^ it took me a while but I have finished it, my last goodbye was completed and am at ease so to speak? Lowkey am planning on beating all the trophies in the game cx also may I ask about your thoughts on the album? Favorite songs, have you bought the physical cd?

and yeah that's absolutely true, pledis focused on kr promotions/fanbase first and foremost (and then expanded to Japan and is now looking toward the US/western promos in general). which i agree was a good thing. i think some companies get too greedy with wanting a group to be ~internationally famous~ that they ignore their Korean fanbase a bit too much and I've seen groups that have failed bc of it, so I'm glad that didn't happen w SVT

and yeah in terms of merch I'm genuinely grateful as an american that for this cb at least there was a US distributor which made things super convenient but wtf is going on w hybes merch those water bottles are not it TT it just sucks to see bc it's clear that at least as far as merch goes hybe doesn't have an interest in like. doing market research to figure out what carats want. which is funny bc they don't even have to start from scratch they could literally just ask pledis?? and tbh what's sad is i don't think hybe is like. purposefully trying to sabotage SVTs merch from my limited perspective i get the feeling they treat all their groups merch like that :( but since us carats have seen in the past what kind of merch we're capable of getting it's disappointing to see such a downgrade. and like tbf pledis's merch decisions were never perfect like that time they tried to sell replicas of the SVT rings and carats were rightfully pissed bc those are something the members earned, not something to be bought. and i also don't think hybe never has or never will make good merch, I'm sure they're fully capable of it. but it just seems obvious that they've put WAY less if any effort into understanding both the market (ie carats) and seventeens brand compared to pledis so like of course most carats aren't gonna like it :/ i really hope they step up their game and do better research or bring ppl onto the team who better understand svt's brand

and yeah i very much agree with everything u said about streaming! tbh i think this mindset isn't as uncommon as you might think, I've actually met a fair number of kpop fans who are critical of streaming culture but as u know there also are a lot of ppl who are really into it and those ppl tend to have the loudest voices. and unfortunately part of streaming culture is that if you question the methods or don't participate you must be a bad fan or secretly an anti or something ridiculous like that. so ppl who aren't into streaming culture end up learning to not be too vocal about it bc of how bad the backlash can be

yes! I'm glad to see insta line (+ now dk!!) active again. i still wonder why pledis made them stop using their ind instas, like I know all the theories people have as to why but honestly none that I've seen seem to fully make sense. it will probably be one of those things where we'll just never know the full story. but i digress!! regardless of the reason I'm just glad to have them back after all this time ^^

as always I'm answering this a bit late so you may have seen already but i did get the physical album! it was a birthday gift so i only got it the other day, but according to my mom it arrived almost immediately after the album was released so as i said before, I'm very grateful for the US shop this time around ;-; as for the songs usually it's easy for me to pick one or two favorites but this time around it's genuinely a 4-way tie between heavens cloud and all the unit songs TT (i also love anyone and RTL, they're just slightly lower on the list in terms of preference if u get what i mean). i really hope some time in the future we get some kind of performance or special video or something for heavens cloud, since so many carats and the members themselves seem to really love it. i also think it's a song that brings up such beautiful imagery that it would be a shame if it never got any type of visual representation, you know? I'm also really curious to see a performance of wave, since iirc the members said the choreo is a lot more laid back/different from other perf unit choreos?? + that song also evokes such great imagery for me that like... makes feel like it needs some kind of movement so I'm just itching to see a performance. kind of like... even if i didn't know it was a perf unit song i would think it would be great to choreograph to if that makes any sense dhfkf. but yeah overall i think it's just a really solid album, as expected from summerteen ^^
