THE BIG FIND 2023: Day 4

The Big Find is a 10-day long Drarry fic-finding marathon to celebrate the blog’s anniversary. Below is the Day 4 compilation of lost fics, both old and new, that we’ve been unable to find. Our aim is to get as much attention to these lost fics as possible, to help people finally find their missing fics! Anyone can participate by reblogging, reading through each list, providing additional fic details, and informing us the title, author, or link of a fic, and their respective number in the comment section. Happy finding!

4.1 drarry fic in which only draco harry and lucius are in it. Draco has to act and dress like a girl. His father wants to marry draco off and then blackmail the person because they married a guy. Harry is some Kind of law official. Draco tries to flee at his coming of age Party but Harry thinks he is a thief (because draco still has some girl stuff on or in his hand) so he arrests him. there is no place in prison so harry takes him to his own home. Draco then lives with Harry as some form of probation. he has to help him look after his land. lucius says his daughter got kidnapped. Draco is the suspect so he flees. he can hide at Harry’s neighbour house and dresses as a girl again so harry doesn’t recognise him. at some point harry finds out and arrests him and he gets sentenced to death. he is in some cage hung over a Lake. before he dies harry gets him out (because he loves him). they get married and harry threatens draco’s dad back to make him leave them alone and then they live together

4.2 From what I remember older and an auror Harry time traveled to the time of when he and Cedric were out of the maze. He then went off to find the rat who’s disguising as Moody and everything went to shit. He asked for Draco’s help later on to make a club where students can help one another like a DA but more softcore and including Slytherin students.

4.3 looking for an Ao3 fic. It was kind of short. In it Harry was hit with a spell/curse that made him fall into a “deep sleep” and people thought the person tried to kill him. The thing is when Harry wakes up he find out the ministry framed Draco. I remember a line like “in that time they effectively manipulated and imprisoned Draco.” Or something along the lines. Again, it’s was short and didn’t go into much detail

4.4 I’m looking for drarry fiction on ao3 Draco was fighting in Hogwarts war. unknown spell was send to Harry direction. Draco jump in to protect Harry. that spell hit him and send him back in the past. Dumbledore knows what happened and helps him so Draco is disguised as a new professor. He gets to teach Harry and even teach his younger self. Harry suspect in Prof. Draco so he uses the map to spy on Draco. Then he found two Draco names on the map. I think that Ron is the one who cast a spell on Harry. It’s some part of a secret plan. That’s all i can remember so far.

FOUND! 4.5 looking for a fic where i think they are bonded or something but i specifically remember a scene when they are coming down the stairs at a big gala or event and they have to have their names announced and the first time (before feelings) harry has them read out dracos full name but the second after they liked eachother more he edits it so you don’t hear his dads name. sorry dont even know why thats the only scene i remember

4.6 The magical world is getting itself known to the muggle world, which causes problems and then when a representatives meeting between both sides was held, Harry was surprised to find Draco representing the muggle side after getting exiled from the magical world. I forgot if Draco lost his magic or not. I remember it being a very long one-shot. And I think its quite an old fanfic around 2012-2017s.

FOUND! 4.7 I have been trying to find this fic for years. It was coming out chapter by chapter anywhere from 10-15 years ago, and may have been left unfinished. It was centered around something evil (creatures? Old curses? I’m not quite sure anymore) happening down deep in the chamber of secrets, pretty sure post-war. Harry and Draco and several others joined together on kind of exploratory expedition to find and defeat whatever was happening down there. I think Bill was there lending his expertise. It had a very very dark tone, feel, and subject matter. I always want to find this fic again around halloween!

4.8 I’m not sure if I’m looking for a single fic, or if what I remember is from two different fics and I want to reread both. It’s definitely ao3, pretty sure rated M or E. In one, D works at a gay bar as a bartender and H is just coming to terms with his sexuality and D decides to show him how to have sex. I think it’s in rooms above the bar but not 100% sure. The second part I remember is one I’m not sure if it’s the same fic or a different one. Basically D goes to put a condom on H after he’s been really trying to drill home safe sex practices (I’m pretty sure part of the convo is because H is confused why they’re using a condom for oral sex and D gives him a lecture) and discovers a wart on H’s business and tells him he needs to go get checked for STDs. I’m pretty sure the fic (or both fics?) are more than a year old!

4.9 so it was harry deciding to raise teddy on his own post-dh, and when i say on his own, i mean it. like he wouldn’t accept help from anyone else and it all just kinda builds up bc he’s barely 18 and a war veteran and also a father. i think at one point either he and/or teddy are like super sick and harry just bursts into tears, idk if i made that up or not, BUT the important part is that draco comes thru the floo and makes harry accept his help. i think it was storming. afaik it was complete, but i’d be hard pressed to tell you whether or not it was a oneshot or a multichap fic.

4.10 looking for a fic where draco works at the ministry post-war and everyone hates him and he has no friends and narcissa is dead and lucius is in azkaban, he spends his whole life pining over harry who barely remembers he exists. then i’m pretty sure he’s at a pub? and he’s super depressed and then two men come and sit next to him and after a while he realizes they’re remus and sirius (who he, vaguely remembers) and it turns out he’s in an alternate no-war timeline and then sirius and remus helo set him up with harry? sorry this is so convoluted but i’m pretty sure it was multi chapter, completed + old-ish

4.11 Draco is drunk and Harry is carrying him up the stairs, Draco tells him he’s very handsome, Harry laughed and told draco that he will say on the ministry that firewhisky is better than veritaserum, I know that is a Alpha/beta/omega tag

4.12 I read it in AO3, maybe finished. Harry had died in the war and Voldemort reigned. Many died from the order and the armada. Hermione creates a plan to go back in time, the few living try to help Draco is among them. Running to a place some are killed, Ron and Luna (I think). Hermione says that Draco has to go back since there is only her left who knows the spell, he freaks out but with the commensals behind he is sent to the past to save harry and change the war.

4.13 they were at hogwarts and H was a prefect and was in love with D but D didn’t realise, D was pining so bad. In one scene D was being cornered by another student trying to kiss him and H stopped it and walked D to his room, D was swooning

4.14 looking for a fic I read on A03 which was about adult harry and draco being encouraged by hermione and pansy respectively to do online dating. This involves them passing anonymous letters/owls/emails? back and forth before meeting in a muggle cafe and being surprised but not repulsed at the idea of each other in a romantic way. Draco buys harry an extravagant fur coat I think. I’m pretty sure Seamus and Dean are dating and mentioned in the fic but not featured. Hermione encourages harry to sign up and Ron is doubtful. It begins with the golden trio in a pub. Ron and Hermione are together. It’s post-hogwarts, i’m not sure if H & D’s professions are mentioned. Fic is not The Benefits of Anonymity by orphan_account

Several people have been kind enough to let me publish their thoughts on fandom, community, and queerness to celebrate Pride in the Library. Today's piece comes from @wolfpants.

Dear readers, dreamers, and purveyors of the glittering, gilded aisles of the Drarry Library,

Fandom life began for me at age fifteen. We just got our first family computer, taking pride of place in the utility room between the boiler and my dad’s boxes of tools. I had recently come out as bisexual to my friends at school, who, props to them, had all taken it quite well despite the small town we grew up in (I was very lucky, they were great - everyone else though? Not so much). Still, even with supportive friends offline, I never felt like I could talk to them about what I really enjoyed: watching Buffy, reading Harry Potter and looking for queer subtext (I could never have convinced any of them that Harry’s story screams gay allegory–no matter what JKR has to say on the topic back then or now), scouring bookshops and libraries for any sort of queer content I could get my hands on, desperate as I was to read something that spoke to me, to read about love outside of the heteronormative landscape of the popular media. I wasn’t just tired of boy-meets-girl; I had never identified with it in the first place.

The year we got dial-up internet was the year I discovered Livejournal. The absolute joy I felt, stumbling upon an LJ community specifically dedicated to roleplaying Harry Potter characters in queer pairings. Discovering, beyond that, that people wrote stories about Harry and my other favourite queer-coded character of the series: Draco Malfoy. And then it was Wolfstar (specifically Sirius), then Drarry again, and somewhere along the way my lurking fell off and I stopped reading fic for a while when I moved to London and settled into my first job, my first real relationship, and sitting uncomfortably atop my bisexual identity and not really knowing where that shift happened and why. All the while, I was pursuing a writing career on the more journalistic side: writing for music and film outlets, doing a little bit of secret creative writing on the side, dipping in and out of HP RPGs but never really—connecting. In “real life”, my relationship with my ex was falling apart, and I felt very disconnected from the LGBTQIA+ community because, even though I knew I belonged, I never felt like I could be truly me with anyone—perhaps because I was, unknowingly, still discovering who I really was.

When the pandemic happened, it gave me the breathing space I needed to get to that point. It brought me back to fandom.

It started with reading The Popular Wolfstar Fic Everyone Was Reading, and reopening my ao3 account to re-read some old favourites from over the years. It then unrolled to, hey, I have some free time, why don’t I try writing my own Wolfstar fic for my oldest, dearest friend (who I met RPing on LJ at 15!), which then turned into: you should publish this, and see what happens.

So, I did. And I made a tumblr account, and I lurked for a while, shyly reblogging things and scrolling through author accounts I’d admired from a very young age, astonished and really fucking impressed that they were still in the game. I read their new fics, I was drawn back into Drarry, and from there I discovered what a wonderful community this is, not only for its immensely talented creatives, but for its values as a inclusive, equitable, supportive, uplifting, and joyful group of individuals who genuinely welcome everyone with open arms and love. That, in itself, has made it easy to reach out to like-minded folks here, to make life-long friends, to chat to people who have been through similar experiences in questioning their identities (it is truly thanks to this fandom and the many discussions I’ve had with people here that I’ve been able to realise my identity as a NB lesbian). To write! To share! To not be ashamed of my kinks and to discover fun, delicious rare pairs! To look at breathtaking art and read some of the best goddamn writing I’ve ever set eyes on!

I have spent thirty-seven years on this planet. A good chunk of that time has been spent questioning many parts, pieces, and niggly jiggly bits of my identity. Who am I? What am I? Is there anyone out there who is just like me?

After many years of searching in the dark, of asking these questions over and over, I can joyously say that the answer is: yes. And oh, how thankful I am for that, for all of you, because fandom has really been the community I can categorically point to and say: they did that for me, we did that for we, and I will do anything for you.

It's so so good to ask the question "Is there anyone out there who is just like me?" and find over and over that the answer chorusing back is "yes." I’m feeling a certain way about how people on the dreaded short form video app are treating fandom creators. I wanted to get my thoughts out here before I make a video about it. If I do make a video about it.

I spent a lot of this year writing a long Drarry fic, which meant I wasn’t reading much Drarry and stopped posting recommendations . When I did start to comment on fandom again, I noticed that every video always gets at least a handful of people commenting ‘rec’ / ‘fic?’/ ‘fic rec?’ on videos where I’m literally recommending something. Most recently on a video where I provided a literal list of about twenty Drarry authors and said ‘you cannot go wrong if you read anything by these lovely authors.’ Um, hello? I just gave you actual recommendations, why do you need more?

I don’t think these people realize they’re asking for unpaid labor, but that’s what they’re doing. Fandom has always been about creating community and sharing experiences and lately, over there, it’s starting to feel more like a consumerist model where nothing is ever enough for people, they just want more content spoon fed to them. They don’t want to delight in discovering amazing fanworks for themselves. They just want someone to tell them what to consume, and they have no idea what work goes into creating recommendations. You have to read! Take notes! Form them into coherent sentences which can be difficult sometimes! Figure out how to best position the story in a short amount of time. It! Is! Work!

This sort of came to a breaking point for me the other day when I posted a quick vid to let ppl know I completed the fic I’ve been working on most of the year. It’s the longest story I’ve ever written and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to pull it off. It’s about grief, and I poured myself into it because my dad passed unexpectedly while I was writing it. And then my company merged and I lost all my coworkers. I’m grateful I still have a job, but the guilt of still being employed isn’t something people prepare you for. And then my aunt died two days after I completed the fic. This has been the most difficult seven months of my life, and writing is the only thing that managed to help, even a little.

So when people started to ask for fic recs —very specific fic recs that can be easily found by searching the tags on AO3 — on the video of me posting about my own story, I kind of… lost it? Not really. But I was more annoyed than I usually am.

And when I’ve pointed out that ‘hey, asking for recs on this particular video of me posting something I’m proud of is insensitive,’ I’ve been met with defensiveness. It’s like… I can’t anymore. It used to be fun! It’s becoming tiresome. And trying to educate people on fandom etiquette over there is a Sisyphean task.

And while I know people don’t know how hard this year has been for me, I’m still aggravated by the seemingly endless demands. Fandom can be a lovely place if people care about participating over consuming. But it’s something they have to discover for themselves. And I’m just kinda sad.

How many works do you have on Ao3?

I only have one work on ao3, but I do have a few on fanfiction.net from way back in the day. 😅

2. What's your Ao3 word count?

4,043! I'm actually pretty proud of that! I know it's really not much, but considering that's only one story I feel like it's a decent amount of writing.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

On ao3 I've only written for Star Wars (Obikin), but on ff.net I have one Harry Potter (Drarry) story and a couple Twilight ones. 😅

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

I've only got the one - Dad's Got a Date with a Vampire - that's published on ao3, but it has 135 kudos. Again, pretty proud of that!

5. Do you respond to comments?

Every one! I honestly couldn't believe anyone would read my story, let alone comment on it, so I was on cloud nine responding to all of them.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Nope, no angst here. I avoid reading any angsty endings, so I am incapable of writing one. When I read, write, or even just dip into a headcanon I'm using it as a way to get out of reality for a bit and get into sme sort of happy story. Because of that I don't forsee myself ever writing something with an ending that could be considered even remotely angsty.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Well, since I've only got the one published I'd say that one. But I'm writing another one that might be considered a happier ending? It's hard to rate happy endings, now that I think of it, since (spoiler) they'll all involve the main pair (in this case Obi-Wan and Anakin) getting together. Lol.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

So far I haven't! I hope that streak continues.

9. Do you write smut? What kind?

I'm trying to. 😂 The one I've got published doesn't have any, but a one-shot I'm working on includes some lingerie, a Daddy kink, and some pillow princess Obi-Wan (not at ALL what I envisioned when I started the story, but here we are).

10. Do you write cross-overs?

I never have, and I tend to avoid cross-overs in the stories I read so I don't really see myself writing one.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but that would be so cool!

12. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

I haven't, and I don't know that I ever would. I'm the kind of person who is terrified of letting other group members down, so I would be so stressed about getting my parts done in what I consider a timely manner for myself (which others would probably consider an unrealistic expectation). It would have to be something really specific with someone I'm pretty comfortable with.

13. What WIP you would like to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hmmmm. Other than the ones on my ff.net acount, I don't think I'll not finish something. It just might take forever and a day. But I know that about myself, so I've decieded that the multi-chapter fic I've got in the works won't get published until I'm done with it completely. I don't want to run the risk of getting out of my hyperfixation before finishing it and disappointing anyone.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

I don't think I could come up with any one ultimate favorite ship! I'm currently in an Obikin fixation, but there's a plethora of others that are near and dear to my heart.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Oh god, I don't know. Honestly I would say that I don't really have any? I consider myself kind of mediocre. 😅

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Actually writing. Lol. In actuality it's probably coming up with overarching plots. I come up with a shit ton of random details and stuff, but always blank on bigger picture stuff.

17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Love it, but I want them to have two things:

Be gramattically correct if it's a real language

Have a translation in parenthasis with it so I don't have to constantly be googling or have to skip down the page and lose my place (it also pulls me out of the story if I have to do those things)

18. First fandom you wrote for?

Probably a songfic for Twilight. Lol.

19. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Of the ones that are done, for sure Dad's Got a Date with a Vampire!

20. What fic would you want to rewrite one day?

My Drarry fic on ff.net, maybe. It wasn't much, but I remember liking it so I feel sentimental about it.

Haven’t seen many wolfstar raising Harry fics that deal with homophobia. Would Harry just plain out punch someone making fun of his two gay dads? Would Sirius be upset about it? Anons asking about drarry kids but what about Percy/Oliver kids 🥺 THEY WOULD BE GREAT DADS

We have seen some glimpses of them as Dads here and here although that was a very specific scenario.

I will just skip the details on how they become parents. I don’t think there would be much difference whether it’s adoption or some magical device. (For them. Molly would be something else).

The wizarding world seems to put a lot of pressure in guaranteeing the continuity of line and producing babies as soon as possible, even in liberal families. Weird, considering the live long lives, but that’s my impression. In this context, I imagine Percy and Oliver become parents relatively late. Well in their thirties at the very least, which isn’t that old, but it is a full decade later for what seems to be the norm in wizarding society. It would also be when they are both secure in their professional careers and in their relationship.

They wouldn’t have many kids because Percy is well aware of the effects of having a big family. Sure, he loves all of his siblings, loves his family, there is something special in never being alone in the house and always having someone around… but look at him. And look at Ron. Do they seem well adjusted to you? No. And if they seem well adjusted, you are not looking closely enough. Percy has trauma, all right? And he won’t have any of his kids suffer the experience of being the lost middle child. He will have one, two at most. Oliver is an only child so he defers all sibling relations to Percy.

The kid would go to a primary muggle school, because Oliver went to one and Oliver got an O in Arithmancy even though he never worked on the subject for more than 20 minutes. (“It’s just basic logic relations and proportions, Perce.” “No, it’s not. It’s the one subject everyone struggles with. Bill had to pay a tutor.”) If Harry also has children I imagine Percy would latch on the idea of not sending them to Hogwarts, to everybody’s surprise except Oliver’s.

The things is, Percy didn’t like going to Hogwarts. He liked Oliver, he liked that he could eat as many eggs and meat as he wanted, but he didn’t enjoy the experience. He had the pressure of being a Weasley (with the expectations it carried regarding grades) and of being poor and people noticing he was poor (Malfoy wasn’t the only prat pointing and laughing. This is England we are talking about). Doing well in school isn’t synonymous with liking school. Percy excelled in it, but he didn’t like it. It’s not that in retrospect Percy realizes those weren’t happy years, it’s that he didn’t like it back then. He took whatever little joy he could in earning academic achievements and that was it.

Besides, Percy is pretty sure that with summer school and some spell work at home, his child will be able to pass the OWLs without attending Hogwarts. Oliver is not so sure, which is rich because he passed all of his OWLS and Percy never saw him open a book.

“That’s not true! You saw me study. And you got much better grades than me.”

“I saw you asking me what the chapter was about in between Quidditch sessions. You did not study and you passed all subjects, you infuriating loon.”

Percy is right, of course. Muggle schools are just better. Even the bad ones are better. In muggle schools you are taught how to succeed in school and how to learn. There is no reason to stop at eleven.

(And indeed, their kid is freakily good in Arithmancy and Ancient Runes).

Other than that, Oliver is the strict parent. Percy is the academic oriented parent. There is no chill parent because parents are supposed to give you structure and offer safety. They are not your friends.

They are both equally good with domestic tasks because Percy was involved in raising his younger siblings and Oliver is an un-spoiled only child which means being quite independent. Oliver wants the child to practice sports. Percy wants them to learn a language. They settle with taking music lessons, because that’s what the kid wants.

The child grow up normal (which is such a gift in itself). They are happy and they are allowed to become whatever they want. Not a copy of their parents but their own selves. At the NEWT levels, they get the highest recorded grade in Arithmancy and then pick up a career that has little to nothing to do with it. You don’t have to do something just because you are good at it.

(Harry wholeheartedly agrees).

THE BIG FIND 2023: Day 9

The Big Find is a 10-day long Drarry fic-finding marathon to celebrate the blog’s anniversary. Below is the Day 9 compilation of lost fics, both old and new, that we’ve been unable to find. Our aim is to get as much attention to these lost fics as possible, to help people finally find their missing fics! Anyone can participate by reblogging, reading through each list, providing additional fic details, and informing us the title, author, or link of a fic, and their respective number in the comment section. Happy finding!

9.1 i’ve read this explicit fic once on ao3. honestly I barely remember anything except for draco saying “ah there’s my pretty cock” or something when he saw harry’s dick (im sorry for the words), they were about to have sex, and I think they’ve got an established relationship already.

9.2 Draco is sort of an assistant around Hogwarts, post-war, and Harry recently started teaching there. And Hagrid tells Harry about how Draco was really subdued because he was tortured and found in the forest or something, and Harry decides to try talk to him more. I think there’s a part where Harry goes to Draco’s class and he startles him and he dropped some potions, and panicked. It’s on ao3 I think, no more than 50k.

9.3 i was looking for a fic where they’re both Aurors and friends, working on a case. i read it 2-3 years ago and all i remember is one specific scene where they were at draco’s apartment on a couch and he was pining and thinks it would be easier to deal with his feelings if they were entirely physical, but they’re not because harry is in his pyjamas. harry also makes him tea in his house a lot. i think it was on the shorter side? probably not over 90k.

9.4 I’m looking for a fic where hp is finally gaining confidence in 4th yr and accidentally meets dm through the qddwrldcup as well as his younger sister he then meets him again in hogwarts as he is a very intelligent student who is recommended by the pres/headmistress. i dont recall anything else except Sirius and Remus were in hp’s life, hp and dm spent some time 2gther in the forest to heal his sis and himself. they liked eachother from that first meeting but more of a crush. I think dm’s younger sister was called Lyra, hp spoke to bill weasley and got a snake earring from him, I remember moonlight or something moon in the title. Fic is not double trouble by babythelady

9.5 im looking for a creature fic where draco is taken into a elf/veela village with severus as his mother and he has half-brother drake malfoy. harry is VERY interested in draco and he is a creature too but icr what. ik draco was very controlled of his emotions but harry always teased him to make him blush. there was also non-con with his step-bro drake and karkaroff i think and cissy was a bitch in this story.

9.6 Searching for a fic I read on ao3. I don’t recall if there was specific year they were in or if it was a multi year fic, but they were still in their Hogwarts years. Draco was fully helping them. I think Sirius and Remus were there and together, but I could be remembering wrong. A huge battle, I think the final one, went down on the ground of Malfoy Manor. Snape revealed himself as a spy to Voldemort in the battle, facing him himself.

9.7 So the fic I’m looking for is a multi chapter fic where Draco is pregnant and he stays with the golden trio and I think that they (H and D) redecorated the place. Harry and Draco have a fight Draco tries to put a newborn scorpius to bed but he keeps crying for harry so harry comforts Draco and Scorpius, and Draco says he’s a bad dad and harry reassures him. Harry wakes up to Scorpius calling him dada (I think) and finds out that Draco, Ron and Hermione have been teaching scorpius to say that.

9.8 pretty sure it was on fanfiction.net but it’s possible that it was transferred to wattpad. It is complete and I’m pretty sure it had chapters. It’s an au set at Hogwarts in fifth year (no umbridge) where Harry and Draco are mind linked because of a bad mix of spells on the train home at the end of fourth year. Draco’s been having dreams that he consistently dies in while Harry is there. They learn that they’re connected and start talking to each other in their dreams and in their minds during school. snape is his godfather and tries to find potions to help him but doesn’t not know that Harry is apart of it. I remember it being very specific about one potion tasting like raspberries. Draco gets into a few fights with an older bigoted Slytherin and it is a known fact in this fic that he does not respond well to magical healing. He also claims that Harry is stalking him and then is made fun of for being paranoid. It also gets found out that Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred and George cursed Draco and his friends on the train the pervious year and are brought to Dumbledores office with Snape and McGonagall. Draco’s parents are super protective and they as well as snape set up something called SASHA which is to help slytherins who don’t want to participate in the second wizard if war to safe harbors. They drug the food in the middle of the night and remove the students who signed up. Blaise stays behind to be with Draco but most other named Slytherins from the books leave. Draco and Harry have a falling out over this. Sirius and Remus are boyfriends in this but are very minor characters and I don’t think are listed as a pairing although it’s implied in the fic. Dumbledore is blatantly evil as is mad eye moody and is trying to find out where the missing kids are. Draco is kidnapped and is severely injured. Harry wants to help find him but is told that he’s done enough and is put back to sleep. Remus tries to advocate for dumbledore to help find him by saying that when Remus taught him he was a really bright kid and Dumbledore brushes him off and says something along the lines of ‘we can’t save every kid, if he comes back alive we welcome him with open arms, if not…’ and Remus and Sirius are dumbfounded. Remus and Sirius break in to the hospital wing after the malfoys show up and have Harry talk to Draco through their connection to find out where he is. Narcisa is wildly powerful and finds him somewhere out of the country (I think New York, it was something on a license plate). He gets brought back and everything’s alright. Then it’s revealed that Dumbledore planned the kidnapping.

9.9 Drarry adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” or “What You Will”. I’m not sure if the author actually mentions it but I remember thinking that when reading it. The Twins are Draco and Luna, but they aren’t actually twins in this fic, they are strangers that just met that looks alike. Even down to their butt because I remember a funny conversation about one being the model for a butt pad and the other wearing it. The plane or some kind of transportation they met on crashes. Harry is like Duke Orsini in which he is trying to woo someone (I can’t remember who) with the help of Draco who I think is amnesiac. It gets fuzzy from there, but cue lots of mistaken identity hijinks. I think Blaise is that old friend that keeps harassing Draco to get something back.

9.10 Harry is DADA Professor at Hogwarts. He goes by Evans instead of Potter. He also doesn’t look like Harry Potter. Most of the school doesn’t know he is really Harry Potter. McGonagall knows his true identity as well as Teddy. I don’t remember who else knows. Teddy is a first year and he becomes friends with Draco Malfoy’s son. I don’t remember if his name is Scorpius or if it was something else. I also don’t remember which house they were sorted into. I think it was Gryffindor. I do know they are in the same house. Harry is Scorpius father but he doesn’t know it at first. Scorpius doesn’t know who is other father is but he knows what he looks like because he has a picture of him that he got from Draco. I have been looking for this story for a couple of years. I worry it has been deleted. I read it on fanfiction.net or a03

9.11 Sirius rescues Harry from Dursleys as a toddler and raises him? Harry and Draco become best friends (so adorable) and James and Lily are ghosts in the fic (ig?) . Also there’s a scene where they play pretend house where Harry is dad Draco is mom and Ron their dog? I think Pansy is the daughter.

9.12 looking for a fic that had a young harry and a death draco. it had gentleman in the title (i think it was the death gentlemen something). gloves and hand holding play an important role in the story. i think death draco leaves harry for a bit and they meet up again later

9.13 just remembered this fic i read a long time ago. i can’t remember if it was in ao3 or wattpad. it was set post hogwarts. harry is at least partly raising teddy and is lonely. he ends up finding draco and draco runs a center for lgbtq+ witches and wizards. a few former teachers are in it. teddy is struggling and thinks he is trans but isn’t sure but one day at the park wants to wear i think a dress, if it wasn’t a dress it was feminine presenting and other parents and kids make fun of him so harry immediately brings him to the center and everybody makes him feel better. obviously drarry gets together. there is also a pride-esqe thing that happens.

9.14 It’s about after the war, Harry and Ginny split up so he lives in a house which is attached to one side of the forbidden forest. One day, he meets Draco in the forest, keeps going back to talk with him, and falls in love. Draco later takes Harry to a lake and reveals that he’s committed suicide and was not real (a ghost maybe). It then ended with Harry committing suicide to be with him by also drowning in the lake.
