we never get ANY references to her playing SKRM or skating in general ever again.

which is really weird considering in haunted she talks so much about how she wants to feel weightless. you’d think SKRM would make her feel kind of weightless.

Still workin on my next art post, so while we wait, how about I share some freaky fab facts about our fave boys! This is:

10 Fun Facts about Jackson Jekyll/Holt Hyde. All of these are canon and sources will be named!

Starting off with some rapid fire facts about the boys from the Monster High series by Lisi Harrison.

1: In the Monster High series by Lisi Harrison, Holt is instead called “DJ Hyde”.  Rather than DJ standing for “disk jockey”, as it usually does, he confirms that it stands for Dr. Jekyll. In addition, at first DJ Hyde is indistinguishable from Jackson visually, but partway through the second novel, DJ gets minor changes to his physical appearance- most notably, lighter hair and an eye colour change from hazel to blue.

2: In the Lisi Harrison series, Jackson canonically has anxiety and autism, believing that his blackouts are a cause of the former before figuring out about DJ.

3: The cause for the switch from Jackson to Holt has changed over the course of the series. In the Lisi Harrison novels, the cause is overheating. In Jackson’s diary, he discloses that the cause used to be sunrise/sunset- during the day, it’d be Jackson, and at night, it’d be Holt. Sometime around the age of 16, the switch changed to music with a 4/4 time signature played at 90 decibels or louder. The cause for the switch is expected to change one more time before he reaches adulthood.

4: Speaking of Jackson's diary, it's implied that Manny Taur was waiting for an opportunity to beat him up after Jackson stood up to him, but Holt said something to Manny that changed his mind. What exactly Holt said is unknown.

5: Jackson and Draculaura are next door neighbors. On at least one occasion, Jackson has joked about killing Dracula.

6: Jackson is a member of the Monster High Music Society.

7: Holt plays Skulltimate Roller Maze as an extracurricular and is on the MH team following the events of Friday Night Frights.

8: Holt is known to frequent a secluded spot near Epic Falls when working on his music. He sometimes stays there for days at a time.

9: Operetta and Holt once went on a date to a concert, but it was cut short when Holt started a fight with a gargoyle that bumped into Operetta, which subsequently got them kicked out.

10: Holt is one of only three characters in the Monster High Collection book to not have exact names listed for his best friends (BFF/GFF). The other two are Clawd and Clawdia Wolf.

Hey, so ima about Ibvs Monster High AU. Well,I would like to know more about your work. Well, every monster has its own past and the ibvs characters are no exception. About Isaac. If Isaac is a vampire in this AU, can he become a bat or can he not be one, like Draculaura? And I would also like to know about the fact that Isaac and Edward in this AU are similar to Draculaura and Clawd, Nevin to Toralei, etc. After all, someone may think that Isaac and Edward are in a relationship like Clawd and Draculaura.

Isaac can freely transform into a bat, yes, and Nevins' similarity to Toralei is completely intentional solely because she reminds me so much of him; Theres no other direct relation to the actual Monster High characters, everyones type of monster is based on their character/aesthetic. I thought werecat Jovel twins would be cute, ghost Chris is cute, Werewolf Ed and Barry are cute, etc. Also there's no set relationships, pair off whoever you want 👍

I saw your post about Bloodgood not even trying to find Robecca lmao, and the idea of things being awkward between them is funny. But in Robecca's diary it's mentioned that Mr. Stein did want to try to put Robecca back together but feared that her father was too much of a genius and any attempt to do so would further break her. In Friday Night Frights we only see Ghoulia find a few peices of Robecca, and when she goes to take the last one she's already mostly together. (1/2)

These two facts combined make it seem like Robecca had already been searched for and *mostly* found back when she was dismantled but they weren't able to fix her completely yet. Ah that's very insightful, thank you! Honestly warms my heart that Mr. Stein took it upon himself to try and repair her, I can only imagine his joy when he saw her complete again.

Since we do see Ghoulia find some pieces, I wonder if the job seemed more daunting to him because he couldn't find those parts, nor replicate them. That would actually make a lot of sense.

God, Robecca's whole story line is so interesting, I'm still so shocked she never got her own movie or book.
