Disney’s Expanded D23 Fan Event: Ticket Prices, On Sale Dates, Day-By-Day Event Focus

Disney has revealed key details about its biannual D23 fan event coming to the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center on August 9, 10 & 11. The company promises “the best of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. This year’s event will feature Disney+ integration with some presentations streamed live, musical performances with world-class artists, special content presentations, a new interactive app, and one-of-a-kind shopping experiences.”

The Honda Center is a new addition to D23 this year and Disney says it “will be home to three nights of marquee showcases—Disney Entertainment, Disney Experiences, and Disney Legends—allowing us to bring bigger shows with more magic to the biggest audience of Disney fans in the world.”

It's unknow if Disney Television Animation will be attending however considering that is the 40th anniversary of the studio, probably will get a separate panel.

The Schnee and Pendragon (now Arc) families are two confirmed families out of the four. --The Schnee and the Arc families have a longtime friendship with each other (which leads to the Schneeblings and the Arc Siblings being childhood friends). --Cinder was found and adopted by Qrow. Cinder disdained Winter (at first) because she thought of her as a spoiled Atlesian princess (and Cinder hated anything to do with Atlas) while Winter detested being compared to a vapid socialite that was common for an Atlesian lady of her age (it was the reason she chose to come to Beacon after all, with Ironwood's endorsement no less, to get away from it all).

--Saphron Arc was pretty much the "Summer Rose/Glynda Goodwitch/Pyrrha Nikos" of her generation; that is to say, she was an unparalleled prodigy among her peers (shame that she, along with Terra, retire from being huntsmen early on). --Because of the different circumstances, Cinder Branwen was made the Fall Maiden instead of Amber (originally, Saphron was the one planned to be made the maiden; however, she declined). Amber, instead, is one of Cinder's bodyguards. --During their time in Beacon: Weiss and Pyrrha are fierce rivals in both love (over Jaune) and combat, and every time they fight, they never fail to destroy the arena. It has gotten to the point that Glynda prohibits them from fighting each other during Combat Class because she dreads having to clean up the mess. --Ozpin and Qrow can't help but reminisce over the fact that Pyrrha's and Weiss' rivalry was like a mix between Summer's and Raven's (fighting over Tai), and Winter's and Cinder's (fundamentally so very very similar that they can't help BUT clash).

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if STF had a permanent part in a Disney park, let's say it would be in the Magic Kingdom, and there was this place in the park where it would be a small replica of inside Enchancia's castle and there were actors and actresses to play the main characters (Sofia, Roland, Miranda, James, Amber, Baileywick and Cedric, maybe a few more), I think it would be similar to what they did with Encanto in the parks. Sofia would probably be alone, as she is the protagonist and people usually prefer protagonists alone to take photos, Roland and Miranda would certainly be together, and perhaps Baileywick could be with them too, as if they were in the throne room of the castle. Cedric would obviously stay in his workshop. And Amber and James can be in the dance hall or just in a room inside the castle, maybe even inside a Royal Prep Academy classroom.

All characters would be played by actors and absolutely no one would have a mascot head. I keep imagining all the interactions they could have 😭😭 Maybe they could also take a few days a week to walk around the parks instead of staying in one place. I would give Cedric a big hug and talk a little (respecting the actor because we need to remember that there is a person there and not just a character), and I actually don't know what I would do, I would probably spend a lot of time planning what I would like to say.

I'm just sure that we would have several shorts of funny interactions around the park just like we have with the Evil Queen. We're being robbed that's it.

I would absolutely do that and then immediately say I'm just messing with him 🫶

12/12/2017: Harry and his friends kill 15 boars during German hunting trip (Meghan's not happy). Harry and Meghan take credit for William and Kate showing a little PDA on an engagement, while Meghan merches her parka. Later, William and Harry attend the Star Wars premiere.

12/13/2017: Kensingon Palace officially confirms Meghan is spending Christmas with the royals. Meghan is revealed as Google's most-searched celebrity of 2017. Meghan merches her handbags, especially Strathberry's, and modernizes the monarchy.

A UK survey finds that a majority of their respondents are unhappy with Harry's engagement:

67% of women surveyed are devastated by the engagement announcement.

20% of overall respondents prefer Harry to be single.

57% of respondents are against Harry marrying Meghan.

And Meghan leaks that Kate has taken her under her wing to protect her from negative parts of royal life. She tells The Express that "Harry is like a brother to Kate and she has never seen him so happy."

12/14/2017: Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, announces that he expects to preside over the royal wedding. In the morning, the royals attend a service for Grenfell Tower at St. Paul's Cathedral (Meghan isn't allowed) and they gather again in the afternoon for The Queen's annual Windsor Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace (Meghan is invited). In the evening, the Kensington Palace Christmas party is held at a nearby restaurant that Harry and Meghan may or may not have attended (it's claimed they left early) while William and Kate are papped leaving.

Meghan merches Strathberry again and she is named the #4 Fashion Influencer of the Year, besting Kate who comes in at #5. (I really doubt Kate cares about this.)

12/15/2017: Kensington Palace announces the wedding date. Palace gift shops begin selling engagement memorabilia. Harry visits Sandhurst Academy and awards Cadet of the Year. Idris Elba shows support for Meghan while Meghan merches tea tree oil.

12/16/2017: Meghan teases a Canada tour post-wedding again.

12/17/2017:

The Daily Mail reminds us that Meghan is attending royal Christmas.

Harry announces that he has interviewed Barack Obama for BBC Radio 4 Today, but the interview won't air until the end of the month.

Sabo thinks its a load of shit (hes so impatient lol) but Ace seems to find it important, chides him for speaking bad about it, Sabo guesses it means alot to his family considering how magically inclined they are, Ace is the first reservoir in a long history of emitters though, Sabo comes from a decidedly non magical family bloodline so it had been a bit of a shock

It involves fasting, drone like chants that take hours to complete, something both he and Ace must do their part to memorise, the annoiting the shared collaborative drawing of the bond circle and the physical piece of themselves that they would give to magically tie their souls — usually a lock of hair, but Sabo wont lie if he could physically give Ace a part of his heart he would (THEYRE SO DOWN BAD FOR EACH OTHER)

It had not been a surprise for the academy board at the time but to the royal court mages witnessing Sabo and Ace’s ritual when Sabo reveals a knife intent on saturating the bond with blood magic as the physical offering they resist vocally, but a ritual cannot be stopped once started and Sabo kisses Ace (to further shock and outrage hes such an exhibitionist lol) whos mouth is smeared with the blood he drew from his palm its complete the energy thrumming within the ritual space is edged on sinister

Toddler Yuu got kidnapped by the RSA kids and they just bawled out crying and they refused anyone to come near them and only let Che'nya near them

NRC kids ( or papa Crewle ) bust in and asked for their kid back

I WANT MY DAD!

Yuu woke up to a few people arguing one saying how could they kidnap a child and from NRC?!?! Another told that it's NRC what do they know about children more then them??

When Yuu finished rubbing their eyes they saw a blond boy and a raven haired one. They then turned and saw everything was bright and it wasn't Crewel's classroom. They whipped their head back to the boys who saw they were awake. Yuu's eyes began to cloud with tears as they revved up and began to shriek for their brothers and father.

Neige tried to calm them but it made them cry louder as their face got redder, with fat tears running down a mile a minute. Philip the other boy was panicking and tried to get close till Chen'ya popped up "Hey guys what's going-....Did you fuckin steal Yuu from her brothers!?!?!" He said as he picked them up and began to rock them.

Yuu finally calmed down and told Chen'ya in broken sentences "I-I want-t MY DAAAADDDD!!" Chen'ya nodded and bounced then as he began to walk out of the room to Ambrose's office. Philip tried to explain but Neige scowled at him this silenced him till they got to the office where they heard shouts and bangs from inside.

Crewel turned away for a second! He swears on his dogs, coats, and Potions degree! He rushed around campus looking for his little pup as the boys helped him. He screamed for his puppy to comw to him but Malleus apparel before him "I know who took them!" Crewel grabbed his shirt "Where is MY PUP!" The tall fae told him Philip ran by him with Yuu asleep rushing into the Dark magic Mirror.

Crewel lost his top "THAT. LITTLE. PREP. BOY. TOOK. MY. BAAAAABBBYYYYY!?!?!" He grabbed his crop and wand rushing to the Dark Mirror. The boys with all their wands ready were behind him. The Mirror knew to teleported them quickly, Crewel was like a feral dog looking for their pup.

Crewel threw open the entrance doors of Royal Sword Academy he screeched for Ambrose and for Philips head. The students around were frightened as the dormheads began to ask them if they seen a small child. When the students didn't answer Malleus got in front "Where is my younger sibling?" This froze the RSA students Malleus Draconia had a younger sibling!?!?

Ambrose came and stopped Crewel from almost ripping into a teacher. He rushed them to his office where Crewel began to berate him and tell him of how one of his vile pups took his darling puppy! Ambrose tried to calm him till the door was open by Chen'ya, Riddle saw Yuu and rushed to them "Yuu are you okay?" That's when the rest of the boys crowded them.

Crewel snapped his fingers and they backed off. Yuu seeing their father smiled "Daddy!" Crewels heart swelled "Oh my darling puppy!" He got them from the kitten and petted their head "Are you okay dear? Who took you from daddy?" Yuu sniffed and pointed to Philip who cowered behind Chen'ya. Neige gripped him hard "Philip is this true?" Ambrose raised and got to the three RSA boys.

Philip looked down and nodded. When he tried to explain ambrose held his hand up "Enough. Mr Crewel will decided your punishment for taking his child." Crewel looked at the boys "My other pups teach this street dog a lesson." And with that he walked out the office with Neige apologizing for letting this happened. Crewel stopped the pup "DID you plan this?" He shook his head no, "DID you help him?" Another no, Crewel smiled.

"Then you don't need to apologize." He nodded at the teacher. Yuu waved goodbye to Chen'ya and Neige, Neige was haply the child finally didn't find him scary.

The other boys towered over the trembling price who fought them all at once. Malleus scoffed "You really think taking them away from people that loved them? Their brothers? THEIR FATHER?" Philip only trembled harder. Malleus was pulled back by Lilia "Now Malleus let the poor boy speak we do need to see what went on in his foolish mind~" Philip then explained why he did so. Riddle got close to him "Do you realize what rules and L A W S you broke?" Kalim even had a dangerous glint in his eyes. The Tweels stood behind him as Riddle circled the three, Leona was watching with calculated eyes. Azul smirked thinking of the different contracts he can get this prince in. Vil snapped his fingers for Rook to get close as he watched with cold dark eyes. Idia's dead eyes looked as if he saw his soul and could take it away without any trouble.

Part 2 sort of thing for my Bully/Canis Canem Edit x Battle Royale crossover: Assigned Weapons/Objects.

In the novel, Battle Royale, each student is assigned a duffel bag with a weapon/object in it along with a map, compass, a watch to track time, bottled water, and food. Most of the weapons are what you'd expect, like guns and knives, (Though guns aren't as common as bladed weapons.) but occasionally a student might get unlucky and end up with a joke item that might be utterly useless or have really only one use. Then there are the helpful items that aren't weapons, like a student who is given a tracking device that's wired to the explosive collars worn by everyone in the program and another who is given a bulletproof vest.

With that blurb out of the way, here's some of the weapons/objects that I'd think the students of Bullworth Academy (plus the Townies) would end up with.

Gonna just put a content warning for the mention of Guns, Murder, and Attempted suicide, so be aware of all that before reading any further. If I missed any other content warnings, let me know, and I'll update the post.

The Main Trio:

Jimmy Hopkins - A Toy Slingshot. (I'd thought it be funny and it's at least a little useful.)

Gary Smith - A Tracking device that pinpoints the locations of the collars the others wear.

Pete Kowalski - A Pink stuffed rabbit plushie. (Gary got a laugh out of that one.)

Wade Martin - A bullet-proof vest. (He tossed it away out of anger since he got mad it wasn't an actual weapon. Gary finds and picks it up, secretly wearing it under his button-up shirt and vest. Wade ends up taking Troy's kitchen knife since Russell's death caused Troy to go into shock, so he wasn't in the state of mind to use it anyway.)

Preps:

Darby Harrington - A scoped Browning BLR Rifle chambered for .243 Winchester cartridges. (Some of the Preppie's parents provided bribe money to get their kids better weapons than the rest of the students. Mr. Harrington was exceptionally generous. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean the Preps would know how to use them weapons they were given...)

Bif Taylor - A Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun.

Tad Spencer - A stainless steel gardening fork. (It's resemblance to the pitchfork his father once stabbed him with, along with the implication that his father didn't care enough about him to bribe the government to get his own son a better weapon that would guarantee his survival, and combined with the stress of his situation causes Tad's mental state to deteriorate during the events of The Program.)

Pinky Gauthier - None. (Pinkie threw the duffel bag she was given away since she refused to participate in the Program.)

Gord Vendome - A semi-automatic AMT Backup chambered for .380 ACP cartridges.

Chad Morris - A Series ALFA Steel Revolver chambered for .22 LR. (Chad trades his revolver for Bryce's ice pick, claiming that he's not a very good shot, though it might've been done out of pity for Bryce's situation.)

Bryce Montrose - An ice pick. (Bryce's parents couldn't afford the bribe money to get him a better weapon. He ends up trading the pick for Chad's revolver, albiet reluctantly.)

Justin Vandervelde - A box of matches. (He was given Christy's bag by mistake. Ironically, he's one of the few Preppies who actually know how to fire a gun due to past experience, along with Parker.)

Sofia the First Reboot Wishlist #3

I would love more diversity in the show! Already, Sofia the First/Elena of Avalor have done a pretty good job of showing a lot of different cultures! But I want more! I would love it if they could show some African kingdoms specifically, and just portray even more cultures in the show. I also would love it if they had a reoccurring disabled character, especially a main character or a main side character, and I would love it if they explicitly showed queerness on screen! (I mean, we all know Elena and Naomi are in love, but I want it to be even more explicit)

Currently Reading

I just finished On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers. It was good. The Pirates movie is based off it, so its about Blackbeard trying to find the Fountain of Youth.

I'm almost done with Elder Race by Adrian Tchaikovsky and I highly recommend it. It's a novella, it's short. It is about a royal daughter who seeks help from a reclusive wizard to save the kingdoms from a warlord and his demon army... But its Science-Fiction... And its really about linguistic anthropology and language and culture barriers! It is so good!

I also started Nine Princes in Amber by Roger Zelazny. I bought the big collection book with all 10 novels. I just started it and I'm already hooked. I don't know who started the Big Dysfuntional Family trope where everyone pits against eachother, but this gives me some Umbrella Academy vibes.

Currently Watching

I'm not really watching anything besides G-Witch. I should be watching Secret Invasion because I love Nick Fury, but I'm so Marveled out at the moment. Disney+ shows have been hit and miss for me. My favorite MCU shows have been Loki, She Hulk, and Ms. Marvel.

I'm looking forward to Ahsoka, though. I'm a huge Rebels fan since day one.

Current Obsession

Uhhh. I've been playing the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. I'm on FFII right now.

YOU GUYS. So, I've been looking very hard for any info on the upcoming 'Royal Prep Academy' spinoff of StF. Most of the info that exists are outdated articles from 2022 back when they first announced it.

But then!! A Google search led me to a tweet of StF creator Craig Gerber (who is developing the new show). It's from LAST SUMMER (so, fairly recent), and after he mentions how his current/last Disney Jr. show 'Firebuds' got renewed for a third season, he mentioned he was writing something for either 'Royal Prep Academy' or this other Disney Junior show he's also developing (called 'Dusty') at that moment. He said he was writing "for one of them", but he didn't say which. But the point is, that's proof it really is still in development!!!

the academy is an all girls' religious school. its very prestigious and exclusive. typically only upper class and noble families send their children here. irie (wilds sister) gets in bc of her fathers job

outside of the academy she also has private lessons to prep her for her inherited political duties including diplomacy, dance, and public speaking

she's very bright and extremely studious but does have a mischievous streak

she has a reputation for being very kind and is beloved by the public. the king is ofc very protective of her from non sanctioned press for her own safety

dot is very ignorant of a lot of "common" life

lullaby is 24 and is the first princess of hyrule which does have duties delegated to her by the king

she's extremely athletic. she's trained in sheikah hand to hand and can use a bo staff. she's actually quite buff

she and artemis are acquainted but only through profession and impa

she's a talented flute player and plays with the royal orchestra

she's a very savvy diplomat

lullaby is aware of the crown circle (a rumored operative group which exists to protect the royal family and uphold its rule). shes not involved outside of knowing its a thing

lullaby is protective of dot. the two are half-sisters. lullaby's mother passed away when she was young and dot's mother is the current queen
