Despite having been erased from spacetime completely,
Aidan continues to exist because Angie somehow remembers him.

"Trope"--Lisa
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GroundhogDayLoop
A plot in which the character is caught in a time loop, doomed to repeat a period of time (often exactly one day) over and over, until something is corrected. Usually, only one character or group of characters realizes what’s going on, or at least has an odd sense of Déjà Vu — everyone and everything else undergoes a complete Snap Back, and if not interfered with will do the exact same things every time, right down to dialogue.
Once the character realizes this, two things happen, usually in this order:
The character starts experimenting, then playing around with the people around them, confessing or acting on their feelings for another character, telling off their boss, getting themselves killed in interesting ways, and other things, in a form of Save Scumming.
The character finally gets down to the business of what’s causing the loop, and finds out how to stop it, often using the information learned in all the previous iterations to make sure this one last loop goes perfectly.
A common variation is that the looper is deliberately repeating the time period to Set Right What Once Went Wrong(and because they keep failing, they repeat it again, and again, and again, and again, and…) In such cases, the looper has control of the loop and can stop it at any time… if they just give up and accept failure.
A Groundhog Day Loop episode can often be identified by the presence of several odd little events that are given full camera focus, yet don’t have any apparent significance or relation to anything else. These are, of course, the events that will later be replayed in exactly the same order to emphasize that the day is, in fact, repeating in every particular. (Almost invariably, the looping character will at some point demonstrate his or her “prescience” by offhandedly predicting these events one after another.)
Since this plot requires constantly revisiting handful of sets for the entire length of the episode(s), re-using some of the same footage over and over and generally no outside characters will act on the plot, this can be considered a form of Bottle Episode.
Though not the earliest example, this trope is named after the film Groundhog Day, which established the trope in popular culture. Compare New Game+ and End Game Plus for Video Games.
Requires Ripple Effect-Proof Memory to be in play for any meaningful plot to take place.

TV Tropes for Ukyo
RULES:List five tropes applicable to your character, then tag others to do the same.(Tropes Wiki)   REPOST! DO NOT REBLOG.
Tagged: I wasn’t actually tagged, but I saw someone else do it and wanted to do the thing too.
Tagging: Whoever’s interested.
Spoilers ahead, so it’s all going under a read more thing.
Tumblr media
Cassandra Truth: Though never proven in canon, this is likely the reason Ukyo never tells the Heroine what's going on and who he really is in the Heart, Diamond, Clover, and Spade worlds.
Ripple Effect-Proof Memory: Ukyo remembers other worlds/timelines and ways he died, which is the reason his personality split in the first place.
Jekyll & Hyde: For obvious reasons.
The Many Deaths of You: Ukyo died so many times he lost count.
Driven to Suicide: While given a helping hand by a world seeking balance, Ukyo sometimes put himself in situations he knew would kill him.
Set Right What Once Went Wrong/Screw Destiny: The plot of his route. Subverted a bit in that his other personality would rather things happen as they're supposed to (the heroine dying and him surviving) to the point where it (in some routes) becomes a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. The other Ukyo also takes a more You Can't Fight Fate attitude.
The Unchosen One: Everything was set in motion by his wish and his unwillingness to give up.
Out of Continues: Nhil's powers drained with each of Ukyo's failed attempts to save the heroine. Ukyo's route is the last chance he has to save her.
Out of Time, Out of Mind: Accurate in that he doesn't age and everything in his own world (minus the weather) is the same up to the time Nhil dropped him off, but subverted in terms of his mental state.

For every “Trope” I get, I will post a TV trope for my muse.

Team Dad: He guides his teammates through their emotional problems, encourages them to follow their dreams, provides all the supplies they need out of his own pocket, takes the lead in the most dangerous situations, intervenes when disagreements get too serious, handles all the negotiations with Confidants for their services, and takes the brunt of any real life fallout of their actions to protect the others. He also can say that he is a dad when going to the Maid Watch event in game and in the anime. Up to Eleven in Strikers, where he is also the Team Chef for the Thieves during their roadtrip, and always helps them with minor requests they have throughout the game.

Ripple Effect-Proof Memory: In Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, he's supposed to have forgotten everything that happened due to the laws of space-time resetting themselves when he returned to his world. But his eyes widen and he smirks when he sees Hikari walk on stage at the end of her movie, implying that he recognizes her when no one else can.

Purely Aesthetic Glasses: His glasses don't actually improve his vision, a fact pointed out by Ryuji when checking out a glasses shop in Kichijoji. In the Metaverse, when Joker is wearing a mask instead, he's still capable of fighting and thieving without his glasses. As an equippable accessory, they are described as being "just to make you look smart" and are “fashionable”, showing that Joker doesn't need them for his eyes. He continues wearing them in Strikers despite no longer needing them due to his delinquent status being cleared. However, they are no longer Opaque Lenses, and his eyes are always fully visible while wearing them.

While the Inspector frequently recalls exactly how history changed,
his/her Associates rarely get the opportunity to experience the dizzying effects of historical alterations.

It’s a bit strange when characters other than the Inspector
remember how things used to be before he/she altered them.
