Hi, hello, I am back with more Dancer Raine!! New art of Raine with their bag waiting to get inside the dance studio and a redraw of some old dancing Raine poses, based on my contemporary dance classes. I think about Raine as a dancer a lot 😂.
(If you haven’t seen the old post… Listen, I really like the idea that bards cross-train in dance. HEAR ME OUT: 1. Magic on the Boiling Isles is very athletic and we have seen Raine be very nimble when performing magic/fighting 2. What better way to embody music than through feeling musicality in your body??? 3. I just think Raine as a dancer is neat 😄. Dance poses based on my contemporary dance class; I think Raine likes contemporary and modern dance!)
This is pure joy, isn't it? This man's capacity to express deep emotion through dance, really is astounding! 🙌 Hope it gives you a smile, guys! 😘 Gene Kelly, in "Singin' In The Rain" (1952). 🤍
Been too caught up with splatfest to really draw him good but here's the early concepts for 'Bitter dancer' (danya if you're his friend)
He has bad only child syndrome, being built rather early in iterator development in a more arid region of the (not yet rain) world. More lore eventually I swear.
HEAR ME OUT: Bards cross-training in dance 1. To feel musicality in their bodies and 2. To build flexibility and athleticism because magic on the Boiling Isles is very physical. Anyways, here’s dancer Raine Whispers!!!
Pose references my own! I used screenshots of myself doing movement from my contemporary dance classes.
