✧ -- Headcanon Moment: Thunderstep & Soundwave

In another AU I cooked up a while back called, "A Step Out of Place" Where Thunderstep ended up in Quartzstreak's position with the Decepticons, or in a different au where both Quartzstreak and Thunderstep ended up with the Decepticons called, "Not The Last One" Soundwave and Thunderstep would've become romantic partners or at least he would've considered pursuing the mysterious chief of communications, solely off of a particular personal bet that he'd make with Quartzstreak despite her wants to not partake in providing a loss/reward to it and because of his own interests and curiosity towards the peculiar bot. Which would end up being a conflict at some point later.

Anyways more OC rambling time but this time in compressed headcanon because I just woke up and am a little torn between being groggy and being energetic. You also get one of my favorite OCs I’m currently hyperfixated on

Quartzstreak:

• Quartzstreak at one point in her life taught herself to play violin or at least a cybertronian-version of a violin yet eventually dropped that due to having to work in the war more often, losing time to do the things she loved, since it took too much of her time.

• Quartzstreak is bisexual and I’ve been thinking about making her trans-masculine as well!

• Her original palette in the series I’m writing for her was teal, white, and silver!

• Her favorite bands/ artist are: PUBLIC, Ricky Montgomery, Two Door Cinema Club, Dua Lipa, and Mitski

• but if we’re talking about a more closer and recent time to the artists that were around during her time on Earth (and when TFP was made) which was 2010 (which I also assume— that’s when the Autobots and Decepticons got there??). Quartzstreak’s favorite artist around THAT time would’ve been: Avril Lavigne or maybe Philip Philips (if the years progressed)

• Quartzstreak could actually and would’ve been able to carry Knockout and Starscream (individually) and lifted them over her head if she pleased.

• Surprisingly, she has sharp fangs! I naturally gave her those since I’ve noticed before that not many cybertronians have had sharp teeth (maybe it was noted before somewhere but I just wanted an opportunity for her to have some sharp teeth)

• Quartzstreak’s helm naturally is asymmetrical. If you’ve seen my art over one @deviant-yarrow then you can see

✧ -- Headcanon Moment: Quartzstreak, Dreadwing, & Predaking

In a different timeline, had Dreadwing survived-- Quartzstreak would've still eventually befriended Predaking enough until all of them had survived through the very end (which would've been the end of Predacons Rising: The Movie). All three would've probably been in a polyamorous relationship, with due time, and thus. The au would've been dubbed "A Second Chance" au.

✧ -- Headcanon Moment: Quartzstreak & Dreadwing

Quartzstreak mostly spends her free time learning about human history and such, but specifically has shown a strong interest in mythology, legends, and so forth among other things. Although, the issue being-- with all this knowledge at hand. She doesn't necessarily have anybody to share it to. Breakdown and Knockout are constantly busy, Megatron is a massive no-go, Starscream would think of her as foolish for showing interest, and Soundwave isn't much of a talker to indulge in conversation with her. Airachnid is-- also a major no.

So, the closest person she shares her discoveries to is mostly Dreadwing. Whenever the two are alone and are not indulging in a philosophical discussion or something similar-- Quartzstreak will share her interests and Dreadwing will be there to ask and listen.

OC range goes crazy in the tf section for me rn:

You’ve got

1: a traumatized insomniac sniper who can talk to dead people in her dreams, killed her toxic and insanely manipulative ex-crush, and works under her parent’s murderer

2: an abandoned traumatized apprentice who may or may not have a been a test subject for some sort of “kill-switch” virus and was further trained to become a cold blooded killer who’s been forced to live out the aftermaths of a war that did not win on their factions favor, only to join some group full of furries that make the Decepticon name a joke, and don’t even know who the original deceptions were nor the war that started before.

3: a shapeshifting demigod who is running away from the prolonged consequences of their actions as to not face any further ptsd from being horribly imprisoned and tortured for years again, only to now suffer from the fear of never being able to return home safely again and identity crisis.

4: A girl who’s been somehow brought back from the dead and questions whether she’s a human, robot, or some other and possesses abnormal abilities to use electricity and fears the idea of people knowing what she really is on an island full of pretty supernatural and non-normal things already.

5: Just two gay bots made and designed completely for the sole purpose of hunting robots and assassinating across the galaxy just out here running away from their problems together with their one drone they consider their kid and ignoring all their traumas with complete bliss.

✧ -- Headcanon Moment: Quartzstreak & Arcee (Sundrive too!!)

Quartzstreak & Sundrive idolized Arcee when they were cybertronian-equivelant of teens, with Quartzstreak going so far as to get the similar crystal-placement in the center of their helm. Sundrive simply followed after, following in the same interest. When their cosmetic change was shown to Arcee, she found it amusing and almost proud to be their role model in a way.

Forged by The Stars AU (FbTS) Pt. 1

*clutches my transformer blorbos together* okay-- hear me out.

*crushes my blorbos together and changes them into jewelry/crystals/weapons then drops them onto the floor*

... That's it, that's the idea. Or at least a simplified version.

Can't remember what inspired this but I thought about making my three main tf ocs into celestial beings infused into weapons, crystals, or necklaces that make powerful contracts with Autobots/ Decepticons, for their soul in return once they've reached that limit.

They're similar to both being used as a power-boost or a fighting ally to their holder with certain conditions. That

1. Both must rely on each-other in some way or form, (aka. Forged items require life/energy, and the holder requires their help)

2. The forged artifacts have to choose their user

3. The only way to break a contract is by the holder ultimately dying, thus the forged item can be given to someone else (but this still applies with 2.)

4. Lastly, forged artifacts can be broken or destroyed is if the holders' and the contract-maker's request/wish remains uncompleted. (This again applies to 2-- in terms of artifacts having to really REALLY trust who they make a contract with to carry out their plans, otherwise if both ends are not met. They both lose BUT-- if one of them manages to get their wish completed, that person will not die... In most cases, it's the artifact who gets to live the most-- but the opposite may occur as well).

5. (sorta) Another way that forged artifacts can be broken or destroyed is by eliminating that holder who carries said-artifact with another forged artifact.

It all sounds a tad bit confusing but hopefully I can make it make sense another time when I have time to revise this but as of now, I just thought it'd be neat. Now time to talk about it and first-time interactions with certain characters.

This is Pt 1 (you're here), Pt 2, and Pt 3 to this are linked or will be linked when I finish them.

Let me inform you about The Twin Swords of The Stars -- Quartzstreak & Sundrive

Quartzstreak (and Sundrive but we'll get to that later) -- Quartzstreak is a tanzanite necklace that becomes found-- originally first by Reformes, and during the Reformes' elimination-- it was intended to be given by the trusted hands of the Autobots but was suddenly misdirected elsewhere after a skirmish happened onboard to the vessel carrying this artifact (Quartzstreak) and so-- she ends up on Earth. By now, in time, she's probably along the same time as when the Decepticons start conveniently looking for their relics along with Autobots who stop them from getting such items until *boom* Quartzstreak happens to crash-land to Earth. Of course, she's unaffected by this since she's-- basically not awake and is still in slumber. Until the one con who happens to find her and awaken her from slumber is Dreadwing. The interaction is-- normal for the most part and is probably the most docile, as Dreadwing simply questions her existence and who/what she is upon appearing to Dreadwing and his search party. Quartzstreak in turn, definitely answers to him without recollection to how she ended up on Earth and with the vague yet connected ties that her split-spark is here too, with the obvious intention to find them although--- can't. Not without a host. Understandably, Dreadwing makes a reassuring note that Megatron will make an exception to helping to look for her peculiar (necklace??) split-spark but that was mostly what he, himself, wanted since the idea of losing or being unable to find his kin again hits close to home. Megatron, being the mech he is, definitely knows what Quartzstreak is-- and wants to use them for evil. Obviously, Quartzstreak does not accept to forging a contract with Megatron and only extends the offering to Dreadwing, with the promise that she would do anything in her power to help him meet his wishes, so long as he helps her with the sole quest to find her twin, Sundrive, another celestial being encased in a orange topaz-like necklace. Dreadwing, at first, accepts the contract-- but only for the reason being that he wants to help Megatron defeat the Autobots.

The results to this? Quartzstreak does in fact find her sister again, but Sundrive's contract wasn't as she anticipated, having made promise to a former Reforme member who tricked them otherwise into bringing Sundrive to Quartzstreak in order to destroy her.

In the end, Dreadwing and Quartzstreak resulted with no other choice but to eliminate both Sundrive and Jackedwheel, completing Quartzstreak's wish to reunite with her sister.

Plus, if we're following this canonically-- all the way through, once Dreadwing dies. Quartzstreak continues to witness this as her contract with Dreadwing ends and she is left with a bitterful rage of wanting to eliminate Megatron. (This is also where Knockout gets to come in and accidentally create a contract with Quartzstreak because who wouldn't want to loot a shiny crystal your recently deceased lieutenant dropped and have to deal with providing therapy for a traumatized 2x celestial being, amirite?)

I will continue to talk about the other two in another post but yep. This is all I've got for Quartzstreak as of now in Forged by The Stars AU. Hope you enjoyed hearing me talk about it

Beast Wars AU idea

with my transformer blorbos that I haven't chucked into Beast Wars yet.

So as of current I only have one OC in Beast Wars that's been cybertronian-ized to fit another au (*cough cough* the cybertronian au. wowie, who knew). That oc would be Titania, or "Nightraider", who has the capabilities to transform into an Argentavis, a Xenosmilus Hodsonae, a Direwolf, a Titanaboa (haha. Titania-boa), a Kaprosuchus, and a South-American Gray Fox!

But I also came up with something for my other transformer ocs, Quartzstreak, and Ace with the inclusion of my newest additions Breakflash (and Spade), and Deepslate!

I considered Quartzstreak being either a barn or snow owl due to her role as a sniper and referencing it off of Ana from OW. They're incredibly elegant-looking and dangerous! So I thought it'd be perfect for them.

Now, next on the list is Ace! Ace was a bit more difficult to consider since there was an incredibly vast variety of options in the carnivore category to just pick and slap onto Ace as a beast mode-- but then it hit me. "Why not go the opposite direction and aim to give her an herbivore instead of a carnivore?"

So that's exactly what I did! I've decided to choose for her, a tusked wild boar as her beast mode. I was-- also very influenced, by the design-idea of having to draw Ace with tusks in and out of beast mode. Plus, boars by themselves are still dangerous even if they are considered as a prey by a wide range of creatures. I'm even considering to amp up her size in her beast mode to make her appear more intimidating (once I get to the process of making the art for it) and giving her a smaller group of boars that follow her around-- because why not? I think she deserves to have a non-talking travelling group, as a treat :)

Now-- for my newest boyos, Deepslate and Breakflash (and his drone, Spade).

For Breakflash, and also since aquatic animals are an open option for beast modes (thanks, Depthcharge). I've decided to make Breakflash a black marlin! Plus, with his weaponry being mainly a sword, it works out (and also because Breakflash enjoys speed, under any conditions, in the water, air, land, you name it. But for now, we'll limit him to the water)! And his drone buddy could be a remora!

and for Breakflash's boyfriend, Deepslate? hm. None. No alt mode. This man is entirely fueled by strength and spite (and perhaps stupidity). He'll be stubborn for a long while in considering even thinking about getting a beast mode. He just believes COMPLETELY that he could fight any predacon or maximal in beast mode, hand to horns, teeth, fangs, claws, you name it. Even with the limit of Energon exposure. He is just TOO much of a stubborn bastard. But once he does come around to it and gets completely tired of having to pass out mid-fight or anything. He'll go for a Sarcosuchus Imperator. Big croc, for a big bot. Plus, he'd rather stay as close to Breakflash as much as he can, so having an alt mode that can swim would be good enough for him, even if it's not as fast.

No idea what compelled me to think of this,

But if Quartzstreak were to ever have or find a human-companion (not like Megatron would ever allow it). The human she’d find would literally be some weed-smoking dirtbag (/pos) who literally stumbled across Quartzstreak being parked and almost ready for another illegal race and the interaction just goes something like this:

The guy: “oh shit. This one yours? She’s a beaut!”

*Just some random bystander groaning in disgust before walking away*

The guy: “oh…”

*awkward silence*

Quartzstreak, completely forgetting to roll up their windows: “.. I actually prefer being called ‘handsome’,”

The guy: “oh shit, my bad..”

*more silence ensues*

Quartzstreak realizing how badly she just fucked up: “OH FUCK—“

And during this entire interaction, yes, the dirtbag was still high and just thought this was just a really weird trip even as they get brought onto an airship sort of thing and get interrogated by a bunch of alien robots.

He gets to live, since he really is no sort of threat, but is now kept under Quartzstreak’s responsibility. Finders keepers after all. She doesn’t mind but occasionally after hanging out with this guy, her cockpit or interior will smell very— full of weed, or some other strong substances that are definitely not legal to have in your car but hey— it’s a robotic alien car. They do the driving for you, so you don’t have to worry—- to much. Hopefully.
