The video begins by filming the lecture screen, which has a slide about Kabutops scythes. Lemon can be seen standing in front of the screen lecturing, her voice can just barely be heard.

"Now, if we note the need for both aquatic and terrestrial hunting methods we can see how the shape of the scythes has...."

The video slowly zooms in to the table in front on the screen, where a Kabuto is sitting very politely in the middle of the table.

After a few moments, the Kabuto starts to waddle forward, towards the direction of the camera. Lemon falls silent for a moment. She walks towards the front of the table and scoops up the Kabuto.

The camera pans slightly up, Lemon is holding the Kabuto at eye level and staring at it. "Your antics are out of control."

She walks over to the corner of the classroom, and sets down the Kabuto in large inflatable pool. The class sounds dissapointed, with one student even saying "What's the point of lecture anymore."

Lemon puts her hands up to silence the class before addressing them, "He needed to be contained. He was simply too wild."

She resumes lecturing, "Now, back onto the topic at hand, Kabutops' scythes are adapted to...."

The camera pans over to the pool in the corner. The Kabuto can slowly be seen crawling out, a bit of water dripping on to the floor. A few students can be heard chuckling to themselves.

Buona o cattiva

L'ennesima polemica che sconquassa il campionato di calcio italiano finisce per riproporre un tema assai caro all'animazione giapponese. Alludo all'uso della tecnologia. Il potentissimo (almeno all'inizio) robottone Mazinga Zeta, sosteneva il suo creatore, Professor Kabuto, può essere un angelo o un demonio, secondo l'utilizzo che se ne fa. Il corollario è che non esiste una tecnologia buona o cattiva: esiste un uso buono o cattivo di essa. Il che mi spinge a dire che non il VAR è il problema. Ma la persona che ne valuta le immagini. Se è un incapace o un prevenuto o un ignorante o quel che volete ch'egli sia, lo rende del tutto inutile. Perché l'errore c'è. E rimane.

Noncapture regions

Most regions allow for the capture of wild Pokemon in capture balls, but not all. The reasons for not allowing capture can range from lack of local support to an environmental catastrophe putting the local populace into jeopardy. Due to the fact it is harder to support and regulate a limited or noncapture region, outside leagues and organizations are often called in to help.

The following regions are considered noncapture:

Fiore

Until just before the Go-Rock incident, Fiore was a noncapture region due to lack of local support. It was not a secret that Team Rocket often used Fiore's tunnels to smuggle Pokemon from Kanto to Unova. However, opinions were turning as Krokka tunnel was completed with captured diglet and dugtrio.

Professor Hastings and the leaders of the four cities came up with a limited-capture status, agreeing to test it in Fiore. A PC box system would be maintained by the mechanics of the ranger bases, putting a limit on the number of Pokemon a person can capture in a period of time. This would allow for capture while keeping a close eye on Pokemon populations.

Plans were being made to make the Fall City capture arena double as a pre-gym when the Go-Rock incident occurred. The region's ecological stability was broken by the Go-Rock Squad disturbing Entei, making the volcano under the Jungle Relic erupt. Recovery efforts were hampered when Kyogre and Groudon arrived in the region, flooding Fall City and causing further eruptions of the Jungle Relic respectively.

The decision for the region to become limited capture is on hold, officially, until the restoration of the destroyed Fiore Temple is complete. The non-capture status is enforced by the local ranger bases.

Almia

Prior to the founding of the Pokemon Ranger Union, the region did not have a culture of capturing Pokemon. The Guardians of the Tears of the Princes worked alongside the populace of the shattered kingdoms that made up the region. By the time many regions were developing Pokemon Leagues, the concept was being introduced to Almia. Pokeballs were treated as an outside trend.

As Pokeballs and capture were being introduced to the region, Doyle Hall began drilling in the Chroma Highlands. The destruction in the Almia Ruins made many of the Pokemon people were used to seeing go into hiding. Locals were also driven from their homes by the drilling. This arising at the same time as the introduction of Pokeballs caused people to protest both, some going as far as to physically block the shipments of Pokeballs arriving from other regions.

When the Pokemon Ranger Union and Ranger School were founded, scientists used this as a ways to study the unique Pokemon of Almia. When ancient Pokemon such as Kabuto and Bastiodon were discovered, scientists rallied for official protections against the capture of these rare, ancient Pokemon.

The non-capture status of the region is enforced by the Pokemon Ranger Union.

Oblivia

Much like Almia, Oblivia's islands had a culture of working alongside Pokemon. In ancient times, the oracles of the temples of Arceus used armor to sync with their Pokemon, influencing them with their emotions and actions. It is believed that ancient Oblivia had technology to keep Pokemon like a Pokeball alongside this, but there is little evidence outside of one manuscript about this.

Due to the distance between Oblivia and other regions, the islands had remained free of Pokeballs for decades. When they did, locals rejected them. However, the region was still marked by Kanto officials as being capture-friendly.

The official status was changed following the Societea destroying Dolce Island. Most Pokemon from the sunken island are still displaced. While Top Operator Leanne and Ranger Rand believe all Pokemon from the island have been rescued, it is impossible to tell until submarines can be brought in to examine the underwater remains.

The non-capture status is enforced by the Pokemon Ranger Union and by the Indigo (Tohjo) League.

Peach I can prove that reviving Fossil Pokémon does not turn them into rock types. There are in fact some ancient pokemon that weren't revived but instead have simply been hibernating underground for millions of years and Ash can prove it. There was a cave at a dig site where omanyte, omastar, kabuto, kabutops and areodactly were found hibernating and they were all rock types. Ash got kidnapped by the last one. There has also been other instants and Ash has been apart them.

Peach: Okay that's one avenue, but you're also forgetting a couple hundred things.

Peach: One, Its entirely possible that they evolved to coincide with their environment.

Peach: Two, It is physically impossible for them to have simply Hibernated for hundreds of thousands of years like that- they're not legendaries, they cant survive that long during an eternal sleep and no outside human stasis.

Peach: Three, I've SPOKEN to Professor Foster, And he's adamant that they were there, LIVING, long before we started to research the area. Proving that they were evolving to avoid the mass extinction their species was originally thriving on.

Peach: So, I guess you "got" me good on that one, but it doesnt explain why our revival process gives them a rock typing and why several other species we havent found alive are ALSO rock types.

People are not joking when they say that time flies when you do what you like. In June it shall be five years since we are free. FREE. I never hoped to even live to know the meaning of that word. I paid a small price to be free after all...besides my doctor is my life companion.

The scent of coffee would lure even the dead up. While Kabuto kept his old job as a doctor, he also still had a pile of books still learning more and more, how much more info that nerd head can take? Surprisingly he learned Italian fast so that I or my cousins couldn't prank on him. He adapted to family really quick. His fear of being rejected because of religion and the way Italians think is always a bit present, and their fear of accidentally offending Kabuto as well. Sometimes they are so funny and I can't help but laugh. They avoid religious subjects and Kabuto just being himself quiet and shy.....

"No Kabuto put the damn camera down...now I don't like to take so many pictures...Come back here..."

With only a little it's so easy to be happy, Shisuu had an empire and was never happy. Now he had a stupid job as an icecream seller and occasionally a bartender at the beach parties...a few euros in his pocket and Kabuto... he was always happy.

Shisui.... Beautiful Shisui...

How the hell did he manage to get so fortunate (or unfortunate) to marry such an incredible and exciting man who many others wished to claim for their own selfish reasons? It felt like years since they first met, when he was an pathetic unfortunate young man who was desperate for money by taking that degrading job as an exotic dancer to the now famous and very well respected doctor that even other doctors, college professors, and medical students from various countries in the world seek him or his books out to learn to become as good as he is.

5 years...

That's all it took for his soft features to begin to shape into that of an incredibly beautiful but tired 27 year old man. He was worried about if Shisui would lose interest in him, but he was reassured by them. Saying how he's become even more beautiful than before.

Unlike Shisui who had lost his eye days after they moved to Italy thanks to the unexpected side effect of the drug. Since then, Kabuto has been keeping a sharp eye on Shisui and would often regularly give him check ups, even after years since that happened. Looking for any behavioral or mental issues that could happen since the eye IS connected to the brain. But he's also working on restoring the eye since it can be fixed as well.

He loved his new home, far away from the hustle and bustle city of Japan. Since the people here are so friendly (or not in some cases) with each other, the salty sea air always refreshed him upon waking up and it soothed him to sleep. And their home is rather quite humble and cozy, just for the two of them since living in the large fancy apartment back then made him feel incredibly lonely and small. And that included Shisui's beautiful mansion. Least now that apartment belongs to Urushi and his mother so that they can have a place to live in while also resuming their work in a much more comfortable modern and respectable orphanage facility with better workers with intensive background checks on both workers and newfound parents to avoid giving a child to potentially abusive parents.

Kabuto and Nonou also made sure that religion would not be seen as mandatory among the children and the workers as well. Even the new children are told to relax their views on it and the adults working there are told to not influence them as well.

From outside their relationship and family, not many people know about Shisui's mass wealth that could keep the two living comfortably for as long as they live so they assume that Kabuto is the one who's making the money and around the area, he has made a name for himself.

"El Grigio" or in short "The Grey One" in Italian among Shisui's relatives, neighbors, and friends when they forget his name. Not that he minded but it did make it easier for people to know who they are talking about in conversations. Kabuto was extremely nervous that they wouldn't accept him nor his relationship with Shisui or his aversion to religious topics like the church. But after his success as a doctor and his contributes to the community by creating a better and much more affordable health care plan for those struggling to pay for medicines or treatments, they wholly accepted him even more than before. It's refreshing that he's become more popular than he was in the past when such talent was always judged by background and social status and not by actions.

Sage is still alive and living with them very comfortably, but their age has been showing in their behavior these days. It's upsetting to know that in a few more years, Kabuto's first and only companion who was with him at his lowest is more likely to pass away from old age so Kabuto makes sure to take plenty of pictures of them too. After them, Kabuto isn't sure if he would want a new dragon to keep since Sage will always be the dragon for him.

"Nope, you missed out on your morning walks today and I didn't want to wake you up till now. So now you have to make up for it by catching me." He gets up from the bed to walk ahead of them now, his ash grey hair was now flowing behind his back that reached his hips, much longer than he used to have before.

While it's a hassle to take care off, it's always worth it since he did look so captivating with it. Not just his hair, Kabuto since then has also perfected his self-defense and gun shooting to the point that he can not only protect himself and Shisui, but other people who would need that kind of strength. When words won't work and only physical karma would be enough to stop a situation. And because from what Kabuto learned, is that he won't ever let anyone take what is precious to him. Not ever again.

He and Alustriel still work closely together, but as of recently a mysterious message from an anonymous person from Brazil has invited Kabuto and Alustriel to have a meeting with them. And while Kabuto has no idea who it is, judging by Alustiel's excited expression. It is obvious who the messenger is and even then, Kabuto is looking forward to their talks. Hopefully Shisui would like a mini vacation to Brazil since Kabuto likes to take Shisui to various places and countries during work.

As he watches Shisui pace after him, he grins his biggest smile as he hurries out of reach for them playfully. Not minding the June summer sun on his face.

How far they both have come despite their pasts and even if it does feel like happily ever after, their adventure together has yet to end and it has only begun. And as long as he has Shisui, he will never want anything more in life.

When giant robots arent just giant robots

Tetsujin 28-go, Mazinger Z, the original Gundam, the grandparents of mecha anime, undoubtedly these three series have had the biggest impact on japanese mecha culture, after all apart from being the first and most popular, they’re probably the best original mecha series out there. And as the title implies, mecha anime isn’t just about big robots doing cool things, far from that, most if not all good mecha animes carry a deeper plot, an emotionally heavy plot, (spoilers for all three series I’ve mentioned(duh))In Tetsujin-28 we see a kid, Shotaro, learn to control a giant robot (who doesn’t have a pilot inside it but rather is controlled remotely, still qualifies as mecha in the eyes of many though, me included), this robot rather than being an instrument of peace, was intended as a warmachine for the japanese empire at the end of the WW2, sadly (or happily) though, the war ends before the robot is finished, and Shotaro’s dad, Dr. Kaneda, dies of a heart attack shortly after completing the robot, but rather than being handed over to the military, it’s passed down to Shotaro, who isn’t bound by hate or malice as the people in the war were, so he instead uses the robot for good, fighting criminals and super-wealthy mafias in Japan, who had robots of their own of course.In Mazinger Z, we meet Koji Kabuto, a young biker (motorcycle not bicycle rider) who has a normal life, grandkid to Juzo Kabuto, a very well known japanese scientist, who in an expedition to some far off islands, along with his crew comprised of Dr. Hell (yes very trustworthy name that is), finds an ancient civilization, who used giant machines to wage war against whoever they desired (based off the legend of the Giant of Rhodes). Dr. Hell finding this out is hellbent (heh) on getting an army of his own, so he kills every single member of the expedition so no one can get in his way, Professor Kabuto escapes to Japan, and with his knowledge of science and robotics, builds a weapon to fend off Hell’s devilish army, the weapon in question is Mazinger Z, a giant almost invincible robot with plenty of firepower. Just before Juzo can test the robot, he is killed in a bombing at his own house by Dr Hell’s right hand…person, Baron Ashura, a half-man half-woman, all evil being. Just before Juzo dies, he tells his grandkid of the robot and Hell’s plan, and leaves it up to him to decide what he will do with this great weapon. He tells his grandson before dying, he’s sorry he won’t be able to see them pilot it and destroy Hell’s forces, and that with Mazinger at his disposal, he can be a god or a devil, and that he’d be known as a super-being, like none have existed before in all of human history.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HBPChWsiG8With this, Mazinger Z begins, and his journey to fight off Dr Hell’s mechanical devils is on it’s way. In Gundam, what we first see is actually an invasion of a space colony, we follow two mechs, specifically two Zaku-2s, who are intruding into the colony with nefarious intent. As we see them go in we realize the colony is pacific, just full of buildings and trees, their mission is to scout the area for anything military-related, rumours of the Earth federation (the earth and it’s colonies) developing mobile suits (mechs) to fight off the Zeon (space people) mobile suits. This is a big deal since for years, the mobile suits have been only on Zeon’s side, but as we see, the Zaku 2s attack the colony and terrorize it, until a young boy by the name of Amuro Ray, who’s escaping all the carnage gets into the cockpit of this giant robot he finds out of nowhere, reads the manual, and with nothing to lose boots it up to fend off his attackers. As Amuro gets up and attacks the enemy mobile suits, he struggles but quickly finds his footing to pilot the mech properly, thus starts the legend of the “White Devil”, (Zeon’s name for the federation’s first mobile suit, the RX-78-2 Gundam.) Gundam gets a lot more complex than this, but at the start it’s pretty much this, Zeon attacking Earth colonies, and the Gundam stepping up to the ocassion to save the people Amuro cares about. PLEASE watch it.As we saw, these three classics are about more than cool robots, they’re about loss, fear and impending doom, in any other anime with these subjects, the characters are mostly powerless, and succumb to their circumstances, but more often than not in mecha anime, the robot is a way to empower the protagonist, and make them more than they are by themselves, this is specially pretty well representated in Gundam, so again, WATCH IT, specifically Gundam 79, the first one, the animation can be rough but it’s oh so worth it, there are some movies which shorten down the anime into 3, 2 hour length movies which encapsulate the anime pretty well, that’s it, cya!(Oh and btw, the original Gundam, the RX-78-2, is affectionately named the Grandpa, the japanese call it “The first”, and here in Chile we call it “Tata”, that’s how old and influential he really is)(Below is a pic of Mazinger Z and the grandpa)

An unmarked box arrives on Piers's doorstep. Inside are 39 Inkay in Pokéballs, and a note.

"Thanks for taking these off my hands, huh. And don't try to trace where this box came from – it won't work."

The note is signed with the initials C.L.

//the inkay were all fathered by Mr. Amar from the team rise event that @/professor-mystic ran. their non-malamar parents are a mixture of (from most to least) galarian corsola, kabuto, tatsugiri, and somehow hisuian quilfish.

< [A video, starting with Piers stepping back from adjusting the camera. He squats down beside the box, mumbling about "Inkay or shitty fanmail" barely audible, popping open the top. Firstly he inspects the pokeballs, clearly checking to make sure none were damaged in shipping, before pulling out the note, reading it aloud before finally addressing the camera directly.]

"Somea the inkay arrived, I was hopin this was the case actually. Much nicer than creepy fans leavin 'gifts'." [He punctuates the last word with air quotes, then laughs half heartedly with a short snort.]

"About the note, why in arceus' name would I try to trace a box? Ya think ive the time n energy fer that? Fuck no. Especially not after —" [He pauses to lean back over the box, quickly counting the pokeballs before continuing] "— Thirty-nine! Thirty-nine new babes to take care'a?"

[He inspects the note again, mumbling over the words as he reads.]

"Its signed by a 'C.L.'. Not to judge or point fingers, but if yer who I think ya are, I aint surprised yer dumpin off so many 'mons. And if yer not who I'm thinkin, then I'm sorry fer assumin. Anywho, that asside, lets get to meetin' and namin'."

[He turns back to the box, at this point his pokemon - Obstagoon, Malamar, Scrafty, Skuntank, and a low-key Toxtricity - have entered the room to sniff at and inspect the box as well. It seems to be particularly interesting to Obstagoon and Malamar]

"C'mon lads, step back, give 'em some room please." [He speaks with a chuckle, gently shoo'ing his pokemon away from the box before grabbing two balls and releasing the inkay inside.]

[The pokemon all begin to curiously inspect each other. Piers visibly tenses up when Malamar reaches out a tentacle towards the smaller of the two inkay, only to relax when it gently rests its 'hand' on top of the inkays head. The inkay squeaks in delight. Lots of sniffing around and gentle poking ensues. This kind of behavior continues as Piers releases more of the Inkay from their balls. At one point, Piers steps in between one particularly strangely coloured inkay and Obstagoon - who was close to biting at the squid pokemon curiously.]

[After a while of interaction antics and a lot of chatter from everyone, Piers smiles at the camera and quietly claps his hands together. The oddly coloured inkay, which has taken to hiding behind his legs jumps slightly at the sound.] "Alright. Everythin looks to be goin well so far. To recap, their names're —" [He starts pointing at individual inkay, saying a name to go with each, starting with the strange colored one and then to the particularly small one, and so on]

"— Cheeseball, Brocconcini, Gouda, Havarti, Asiago, Gorgonzola, Provolone, Feta, Ricotta, Gogoat-Cheese, Grilled, Cheez'N'Toast, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Cheddar, Melted, Plastic, Camembert, Unovan, Montery, 4CheeseBlend, Powder, Mac'N, Richard, Emment, Gruyere, Prover, Brie, Cheeseburg, Curd, Colby, Cotija, Cottage, Farmer, Motzy, Paneer, Pepper, Romano, and Stringster. Told ya I can name em after cheeses."

[He smiles down at the inkay before turning back to the camera. He walks up to it, gives a wave with a "bye", and shuts off the camera.] >

There ye have it folks. Inkay time. Stole marnies phone fer recordin, and she'll get first pick of 'em. Ill update ya on the situation after everyones settled in.
