hey fellow Oregonians, PGE wants EVEN MORE of your fucking money next year
if you're forced to pay PGE for your energy bills, you know how it sucks? like, more than it did, because they raised the rates by EIGHTEEN FUCKING PERCENT this year? YEAH THEY WANT TO DO IT AGAIN. i guess they're bad enough at money that having a captive customer base is not enough for them. 🖕
go here, comment on UE435 and tell the Oregon Public Utility Commission NOT to allow them to increase rates. (i would say tell them to also eat shit for allowing it last time but the form says no swearing. so be polite in text but swear in your heart.)
Portland is my hometown. I saw the headline and started crying. God knows it has lots and lots of problems, but its heart is in the right place on this.
Hey all! I've got a cute little zine/comic fest in downtown Portland this coming weekend. It's my first time doing this event so I really hope some of y'all will show up and say hi!
Hey Portland folks, would you like to help support our local chapter of the Sister of Perpetual Indulgence, the Order of Benevolent Bliss*?
They just updated their Etsy shop with a bunch of awesome new merch!

I happen to be wearing my Sis-Squatch shirt today, so here's a close of the design. (I now want the Sis-Squatch tote bag, too.)
* From Wikipedia:
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI), also called Order of Perpetual Indulgence (OPI), is a charity, protest, and street performance organization that uses drag and religious imagery to satirize issues of sex, gender, and morality (particularly Christian perspectives on these topics) and fund raise for charity. Upon their move to San Francisco from Iowa City in 1979, a small group of gay men in San Francisco began wearing the attire of Catholic nuns in visible situations using camp to promote various social and political causes in the Castro District.

As protests start ramping up and violence escalates please remember:
DO NOT PUT MILK IN YOUR EYES FOR PEPPER SPRAY OR TEAR GAS.
It can and will cause infection due to bacteria. Flush with water, distilled if possible, and never EVER wear contact lenses to protests where there may be police retaliation.

If Portland OR can quit reforming justice, why can’t Madison WI?
Maybe justice doesn’t want to be reformed!
Portland OR, once a caliphate of Antifa, has been mugged by reality. Voters in the Oregon metro region tossed its progressive district attorney this week in favor of a law ’n order guy, endorsed by the police. A former Republican! Portland is the third large West Coast city to quit Crazy, after Seattle and San Francisco.
Would that Madison WI follow…
