A sad day for the acting community. Whether you’re a guardian, demigod, or just visiting the Continental Hotel — there’s no doubt that Lance Reddick’s involvement heightened the experience. He was talented, charismatic, and had an allure that will never be matched.
Now if y’all excuse me, I’m gonna go cry my eyes out…and maybe reload Destiny. For old times sake.

“Drunk already, human?”
“Heh, yeah [...] I’m kinda a lightweight.”
“I apologize for antagonizing you then.”
“You’re not sorry at all.”
“You’re right, I’m not.”
An early birthday present for KI56, on her fic:
‘The Tide of Peace that Brings New Horizons’.
An excellent read that I highly recommend.

you know, love mellows you out, it does, in a way that feels like taking a breath after feeling suffocated, coming home after a long day, opening your arms and settling into a hug, a long and warm one. In a way that allows you to feel settled and safe in your identity, you no longer have to keep moving it around in your hands. It mellows you out when you no longer have to fight to be seen.

playing more horizon forbidden west and Aloy being like “your peacekeepers look a lot like warriors to me” is so funny and so indicative of a liberal understanding of a gotcha. how do you think peace is enforced

Fandoms really do have a habit of creative environments where a query about a person's headcanon can be twisted into a personal attack or an all-out war on the content of a person's character. I love being in fandoms but jesus christ, can't we have civil conversations? I know damn well the majority of folks here are adults will full-time jobs/family etc. Can't we just live and let live?
