I recently started use tumblr then i discovered your account by coincidence and then throught it I immersed myself in the whole COD fandom thing. What i want to say is, Thank you for giving me something to forward to 🤍 i fr always check tumblr like three times a day just to see if you posted something like you got me hooked on evertginv you post 🥺 Seriously your writing (especially Dead Disco) validated alot of feelings I've been having in my life that i thought weren't normal. I know this is long and probably weird but i have wanted to send you this for a while. I guess I just want to say thank you for being here for me even if you didn't know it 🤍🤍

Hello my dear, you are really an amazing writer and I wanted to make sure other people know that.

I really liked how your brain works too. When I saw that request for the love triangle with the itoshi brothers I was like "How's she going to write that?" Because I usually struggle with build up and the like but you just went right in there and gave us the mood, the atmosphere, the tension of having to decide... amazing!!!

The request was quite vague, so I used the best of my abilities to answer the request while staying within bounds. I figured since the request specifically asked for the Itoshi brothers to fight for the reader's love, it would be best to immediately jump into the story instead of explaining the background details first. I'm currently writing the sequel to that fic, so you can take a look once I post it.

Of course, this is just my view. I would love to see your own personal take on the story if you ever do decide to write it out. As a fellow writer, I can relate to your struggles immensely... I'm always open to giving out advice/feedback if you ever want it and likewise, please give me feedback if you have any so we can both improve together.

why aren't there more mysteries that take place in nursing homes & retirement communities. i want to watch a group of deranged retirees-cum-amateur-detectives combine their powers of:

decades of life experience

boredom-fueled busybody shamelessness

access to the most gossipy next-door-neighbors in existence

"I am too old to be arrested and/or give a shit" attitude

and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.

#their sidekick/Watson/pet hacker is a 15 year old grandkid who hangs out with gram gram on the weekends #her only power is that she has above average search engine skills and flexible knees #which is completely sufficient to round out the group's skill set #they involve her in heist style operations #on the rare occasion she gets caught housebreaking she explains her grandma locked herself out of the condo and asked for help getting in #then this sweet slightly addled old lady shows up and explains she got the address mixed up #it's so confusing when you're old & all the houses look alike and oh she's so sorry to have caused so much trouble #and meanwhile the teenager is rolling her eyes bc she's aware gram gram was a career criminal & con artist for 50 years #anyway gimme a 80-year-old con artist turned amateur sleuth who loves getting older because people are less suspicious of little old ladies #this all takes place in florida naturally

sometimes while i think about that while a lot of adults did not treat me very well as a kid i also get a lot of 'in hindsight this person was so good to me and i didnt even realize it until now' as an adult. today i was thinking about how the first anime convention i ever went to was when i was 10 and i asked the man working the manga cafe what manga was/what a good place to start was (because the con was very overstimulating for me and i had gotten lost) and he asked how old i was before recommending yotsuba and asking if i wanted any water or something to eat. its really simple but theres a lot of bad things that couldve happened or he could've been careless in his recommendation, but instead yotsuba has remained one of my favorite manga for years, and probably a large portion of why i continue to read manga as an adult... i think adults who try to involve kids in the world safely/kindly even in little ways make so much more of a difference than they ever really know.

#and i know that sounds silly like YES. it was just a bookr ecommendation #but i feel like a lot of people either dont really care about whats a good starting point for younger kids in their shared fan spaces #or dont really take the care to recognize different peoples ages would effect what they would both enjoy or #be capable of engaging with #not to mention theres a lot of manga that would NOT have been appropriate for a 10 year old to read #so the fact that he askedd and even asked what sort of thing i liked at the time #was very sweet. i think about him a lot and i hope hes doing well #txt #scratchpost
