The Spiral Yssgaroth was fashioned similarly to the Spiral Politic (it is not a parallel continuum)

When I was initially reading The Book of the War, I fell victim to it's (an extension of the House's) propoganda idea that parallel universes do not exist. However, I needed to reconcile this idea with the fact that the metahistory of the FP universe is founded upon the fact that the Great Houses fought against the Yssgaroth from an entirely separate continuum. So I concluded that, as it is called a "spiral" like the Spiral Politic, it must have been built in a similar manor. I've since learnt that parallel universes do exist, but am holding on to this.

I just find it so neat. Before Urizen pulls together the forces of Gallifrey to bind time to his domain, the Mother-King of the Yssgaroth had already built up another metastructure of history, forming am existential noosphere around it, later called by outsiders the Spiral Yssgaroth. It just adds to the idea, started by the Osirians, that the Great Houses really aren't that Great and Singularly Almighty as the Book may claim.

The Mother-King of the Yssgaroth had a child, and as it was born outside the Spiral Politic, those without it called it Timeless, as they (or at least the Houses) did not understand alien time. This Child fell through a portal, only to be found, much later, by an explorer, who experimented on them to help Urizen find the way of regeneration.

And yes, if our Spiral has a version of Earth, the Yssgaroth's does also. But you wouldn't possibly recognise it...

can you please explain how eddie *technically* killed four people in the show— i’m making a house of anubis presentation for my friends and i think it’s hilarious that this 17 year old is technically a murderer but i don’t have the time to comb through episodes to find out the details…. if you don’t mind👀

OKAY!! so there are arguments constantly about who eddie technically killed because if you’re being picky about it, people dying as a consequence of his actions isn’t ‘murder’ but that’s not funny so I ignore it. all 4 have something to do with him being the osirian in his defence, although it should be noted that despite being the chosen one, nina’s known kill count remains at 0.

1st is senkhara: sure she was a ghost already but he picked up her crown at the end of s2 and sent her directly to hell so that has to count for something

victim no.2: same episode! that’s talent! rufus puts on the mask and also gets sent directly to hell via the same portal in the floor thing. technically this is because he’s impure of heart, however!! he is only able to put on the mask because eddie blasted the person that was wearing it before him to hell. therefore, eddie killed rufus idc

number 3: denby. she got consumed by ammut at the end of s3. ammut was only able to do this because eddie assembled the staff and put it in the holder. he released ammut, ammut killed denby, denby would be alive if he had not done that

fourth and hopefully final victim: sophia in touchstone of ra. sacrificing yourself to ra means that the person who got the ritual wrong before would be turned to stone and that was sophia. so by sacrificing the magical spirit inside him, eddie stopped sophia from being alive.

thing i somehow missed: victor pushes eddie out of the way of the falling chandelier.

this man:

freaked out about alfie supposedly dying

insisted “you listen to this old man, nina” so she wouldn’t walk into the portal

brought joy back to life with (what they thought was) the last of the tears of gold

pushed eddie out of the way of a falling chandelier that literally could’ve killed him and left victor himself limping

saved everyone by having eddie give up his osirian powers

victor is so complex and he really does love these kids 🥺😭

Times we could’ve explored the Osirian’s abilities:

these ideas aren’t really taken from his cannon abilities cause we didn’t have much of that, just random ideas. and not in chronological order because I’m not that organized:

When Eddie is in the tunnels with the blinding beam, instead of burning it out with a dinky mirror, have him destroy it with a blast

the booby trap set by Victor, have someone get hurt (like Patricia???) it’s bad, the persons going to die, but then Eddie heals them. 

whilst fighting with sinners, especially if with KT when they don’t know the full story, he could inflict some pain there. maybe incapacitate her and lock her up? 

THE CLIMAX? rough a  bitch up my boy, Eddie, you’re taken HOSTAGE

 THE CLIMAX AGAIN WHEN IN THE TANK ROOM WITH AMMUT like it takes more than turning a key, he has to do some magic work to close the portal banish her like he banished senkhara

The Whisper debuted during Secret Season 17, and shortly we knew he had some secrets of his known. Whatever secret he loomed over Princess KimberLee’s head caused her to exit CHIKARA, and the Whisper used his knowledge to assist Jeremy Leary in his torment of both Missile Assault Man and Lucas Calhoun. For his own gain, he began to taunt Ophidian. At “Hide”, The Whisper left the mask of 17 at his feet. We’d learn in the former months that Ophidian had been masquerading as 17 during Season 14 and was the man who saved Frightmare from being murdered by Deucalion. Of course, Frightmare would go on to take out a large segment of the CHIKARA roster, including Ophidian’s own partner Amasis, the past three seasons. When Ophidian lost a Sarcophagus match to Hallowicked, The Whisper hijacked the coffin and buried Ophidian, taking his identity in the process. 

Since King of Trios, The Whisper has wrestled as Ophidian, with the goal of showing he is the superior Ophidian. So far, he won the 2017 Rey de Voladores tournament, defeated Razerhawk to become the Young Lions Cup champion (which he currently holds), and earned three points with a new Amasis he recruited in October. The same night they won three points, 17 (presumably the former Ophidian) returned and injured Ophidian’s arm. At the season finale, 17 did the same thing to Amasis. 

At the season premiere “Beware The Snowman”, 17 and the current Ophidian will finally get to square off one on one. 17 may be looking to do permanent damage and possibly get his identity back. Will he be successful, or will victory here prove that the new Ophidian is truly superior?
