hi radiostatic nation im once again expressing to the masses that radiostatic isnt one sided alastor THRIVES OFF ATTENTION FROM VOX. The only reason it looks one sided is because Vox is just SO OVERWHELMINGLY OBSESSED WITH ALASTOR. and Alastor is at the very least asexual, possibly aroace, so the way he displays and percieves intimacy is different but not just completely impossible. When every single person in the world out here saying radiostatic is onsided I am sometimes just like hm maybe u dont know the vast spectrum of ways people can be asexual. Also maybe u are destroying Alastor's character integrity in favor of your Vox angst. It's literally impossible that someone like Alastor, BIGGEST ATTENTION WHORE EVER doesn't love that Vox is watching him all the time. He sees the cameras and leaves them there, poses for them sometimes, as a taunt but also as an invitation. A promise that he will keep performing so long as Vox keeps watching. This is my vision. If you act like Alastor genuinely doesn't care about Vox in any form... sory u fell for his mask

I think Alastor trusts Vox a little too much. I think his perception of Vox is that Vox is a universal constant in his life, and by all observations he is. but Vox would have a lot of power over Alastor if he found out that Alastor trusts him the way one trusts their closest friend. and its not that Alastor thinks Vox would never hurt him, its that he trusts Vox to always know what hes thinking, what he wants, what he needs, and what would damage the dubious balance of their not-friendship. He trusts that Vox would never cross the line, that he'll only ever push the boundaries. If Alastor, for example, really had a problem with Vox's cameras looking at him all the time, then he wouldn't look directly into them sometimes. He'd just destroy them. To Alastor, their relationship intentionally involves pushing each others buttons. In part, this is because its fun, but also because Alastor hates change unless Vox is instigating it and if Vox isn't pushing his buttons than he's never going to change.

Unfortunately, Alastor does not return this favor. He's predictable, but unreliable. He never knows what Vox is thinking, what he needs, what he wants, what's too far. He's so busy thinking about himself that he doesn't reciprocate these things, which is why the invitation went so bad. He didn't take the time to recognize what Vox wanted and totally crushed everything. Really the only time Vox ever pushed to hard was that specific incident, and it was only because Alastor was a shitty ass friend who doesn't communicate shit. And then he fucked off for seven years! So, you know. Unreliable behavior.

And I don't think Alastor trusted Vox this much until after he came back. It was only after he saw Vox's obsession that he started genuinely reciprocating. I mean, part of the reason Alastor reacted to the proposal so explosively was because he was looking for control. He saw himself slipping into trusting and lashed out. He's fucking stupid tho cuz he came back and ended up trusting to a damn fault. Except he is just taking a fucking mile and not giving anything back.

Alastor feels entitled to it. He thinks he deserves to have someone who just knows everything about him all the time and thats the real reason he doesn't mind being stalked by Vox. Vox is the only one who he trusts with that much knowledge about him and GOD he takes it for granted.

Alastor just keeps taking and taking and taking and wearing Vox down that fucking television is such a masochist why would you ever be gay for someone like Alastor. Vox doesn't even get to know what Alastor is really thinking because all Alastor does is try to ignore him!!!! I need to put them in situations, guys. They need to be put in situations.
