***VIEW DISCRETION ADVISED!*** Today, there was another school shooting. I’m very tired of watching our innocent children die while our country does nothing to protect them. My new piece of art (the second in a series on gun violence) graphically depicts the aftermath of these shootings. I advise anyone who has lost someone to gun violence, especially a child, please be cautious about viewing this piece. I created it in hopes of making blind pro-gun fighters uncomfortable. I’ve heard so many people tell me they don’t give a $*!+ about dying children as long as they can have their guns. If this is true for you, please view this piece and say those words. Sometimes it doesn't take a movie-like relationship to satisfy someone.

Sometimes it's just that two people have been beyond pain at one point, and beyond happiness at another. Two people that have suffered, and fought, and bare scars from different circumstances.

That share warmth in the winter, and ice cool water in the summer.

That sit in a perfect silence together, in sickness and in health is all it's about, right?

Maybe a lot of people don't actually realize they're doing all of those vows written down on a page without something being official, even if you're not sure it's love yet.

You've been closer than you thought.

To me, it's like small, microscopic maggots by the hundreds of thousands are crawling under my skin, under my nails, circling my bones. Gnawing at me and tempting me, chewing away at my brain in a place that's supposed to control how I think. And they silence that, and I thank them, in some odd, grotesque way. 

Everyone has loved in one way or another, and everyone has lost.

But when something gives you the opportunity to push your luck once more, to push you further than ever before, to take chances, you allow yourself time to truly think about the person involved.

In my instance;

Eyes that are soft and full of emotion, that can suddenly become glacial, and you're entranced because you want to look further even if you may think it's better not too. And they're so alike to her personality you simply stop, stare, and you can't help but smile ever so gently because you remember the sole reason you like her so much.

She's mysterious, always showing new things, whether she's flat out telling you or not. She can put up walls of defense like any other human being, and most like yourself.

Her hair is a gorgeous colour, even if it's not dyed some crazy way or styled like someone making a huge statement. It's not simple, but not over the top. Just like her. And when you touch it, it's soft and ever so slightly could to the finger tips, and you find yourself reaching out for it every so often and it's almost a comfort in itself, just to feel. And you don't stop their. You brush your fingers across her jaw, down her cheek, along her shoulders or the back of her neck. And just like her glacial gaze, it's ice. Everything about her is a cool ice to the volcanic heat that is yourself.

And you clash just like that, not fire and water. Lava and ice. It's on a whole new level, and it paths the way to something new and fresh. More land is created, more space is made, and it's a fascination to anyone that sees it happening. And they do.

And so much like that is her skin, pale, especially in comparison to your own. It's practically porcelain, and yours is tanned, almost dark. And when you intertwine your fingers with hers you smile to yourself because you enjoy these differences - they fascinate you, and just like her personality, her entity, no, her soul is next to capture you.

Her smile is gentle and soft, not some sort of childish or cheeky grin you pull on your own face. Her lips tug up at the corners almost as if she's unsure, and as you continue your grin her own grows into a smile that's ever so different, but ever so alike.

She is a sunny winter's day, when the snow falls but it's not too cold to catch a chill. And it's perfect, especially in your mind. It would be your favourite type of day before Christmas Eve, and you would stand at the window for quite a while simply taking pictures or watching how it all seemed like one, excellent, artistic masterpiece.

And you are a heatwave on a summers day, you burn up all around you unless it's just that little bit more tough. If it can withstand, it breaks through. And despite how much it burns, it can linger about much longer than the rest.

And when the snow continues to fall around January, you bring the sun to start afresh... together.
