These three characters have been dancing in my head for a few days! Been developing a story thats been on and off and after fighting a sort of depression/burn out this story sparked my love of creating again! Anyways these guys are Zeke, Izo, and Daniel! Zeke is a stern detective cyborg that is trying to find the mystery of what’s been going on in his city with questionable damages to buisness and odd creatures running around. He keeps his distance from people but he gets dragged along with the other characters around him. Mostly with Daniel, Izo, and Theodore, sometimes Cecelia.  Personality: Zeke is usually calm and collected, patient, and very much acts like a gentleman, very rarely expresses himself to the extreme. When pushed comes to shove he does get aggressive but thats mostly towards Daniel since he pushes him constantly. Towards people he is good with his softer side shows and tries to help them as much as he can.

Izo is an envious turtle loving inventor that struggles with his buisness of selling mechanical pets. The city sometimes gas lights him that he isnt trying hard enough or is stupid compared to Theo and how no one want mechanical animals and want the revived ones Theo does. Izo will do anything to destroy Theo’s buisness. He tries to lie when Zeke is asking questions and keep Cecelia as his Partner in the buisness since she does amazing art to promote his buisness.  Personality: A bit chaotic, very energetic and dramatic, and will do anything to show how great he is, even if its petty stuff like he made it to the store first. He does loose his temper quickly specially when his buisness or his turtles get brought up in a conversation. He is very self indulgent and always puts himself first. When upset he does threaten people his the sharp part of his cane. I guess the best way to explain how Izo is just a mix of Plankton, Kuzco, with a dash of Markiplier.

Lastly is Daniel the homeless drunk hunchback that is a trickster, con artist. He mostly spends his time dumpster diving to find trinkets to sell to get some kind of money. He is friends with Theo mostly helping him get stuff and help out iwth the buisness but Daniel usually does his own thing. Mostly to try to see Cecelia while avoiding Izo since he hates him very much. And also tries to avoid Zeke due to jealousy since Zeke is close to Cecelia. Also since Daniel has issues of seeing himself good looking he sometimes pulls a fake french accent but everyone sees through it. 

Personality: Very witty, creative, and a bit of a swindler. He usually wants to get something in return when doing something since he doesnt want to feel cheated. He doesn’t take things too seriously until it’s too late. With Zeke he despises since he is reminded how much of the opposite he is. With Izo he doesnt’ like him either but if he’s in a silly mood Daniel will join him and both would do chaotic stuff together. He is close to Theodore and Hawk who gets his stuff and help him out which he respects a lot. As for Cecelia he loves her so much and does what he can to impress her and make her happy. His more soft caring side shows most to her.  Anyways sorry for my word vomit it’s just been so long since I can openly talk about a new story since I can’t with Demitri’s Carnival since it’s more “Mature”. I want to do something more with these characters since I am having so so much fun with them! <3  ~Thank you!  Oh! The last art piece was done by @milkfakearts​ she got their personality on spot! Daughter of fantasy villains decides to rebel against her parents by actually going through with her arranged marriage to a local golden retriever of a prince instead of running off with some local villain-to-be or conquering said golden retriever’s kingdom and ruling it solo like her parents expect her to. Plus, sue her, she’s into the clean-cut earnest look.

At the same time, local prince charming discovers that he’s actually very into the gothic fiance his parents have landed him with in order to try and establish peace with the local evil lair down the lane, he would never have guessed a spiderweb pattern could look so fetching on a ball gown...?

Meanwhile, two pairs of parents in a tizzy because they both expected their offspring to whole-heartedly reject this union and give them an excuse to conquer their goody-two-shoes/evil neighbours, they’re not supposed to actually like each other-!

Remember The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock? The movie showed how a kid who had an extremely rough upbringing got help from the family of a school friend, found success in football and ultimately ended up being adopted by the family. Turns out he was never adopted.

Michael Oher says that he was tricked by the Tuohy family into signing documents that made them his conservators. Since he was already 18 at the time the family told him, “that it means pretty much the exact same thing as 'adoptive parents,' but that the laws were just written in a way that took [his] age into account.”

Oher also says that papers were signed so that his story and likeness were given away for free to use in The Blind Side. He also never got a single royalty check for the hugely successful, Oscar nominated film in the 14 years since its release.

When I was a kid, I regularly lost reading privileges for "having an attitude" and "acting out".

It wasn't as simple as being told not to read during other activities- one of the first times it happened, I remember being six years old, watching my stepfather pull fistfuls of books off my bookshelf and throw them to the floor in a heaping mess while I cried and asked him to stop.

It was weird. Every other adult I knew described me as exceptionally well-behaved, but at home, it was the opposite, and it was blamed on "learning bad habits from that shit you're reading".

Because I couldn't read at home, I spent all my free time at school in the library, reading with my friends.

When I grew up and moved away, I realized that my family life was toxic and abusive, and the "attitudes" I was being punished for were standing up for myself, standing up for my younger siblings, and resisting actual, real-life psychological abuse. Because I'd learned from what I'd read that my family wasn't normal, not like my parents said it was, and in my stories, the heroes were the people who spoke out when it was hard to.

It is insane to me that there are students right now who can't access books. It is insane that books are being outlawed. It is perverse that we are stealing away an entire generation's ability to contextualize their lives, to learn about the world around them, to develop critical thinking skills and express themselves and feel connected to the world or escape from it, whatever and whenever and however they need.

That is not how you raise a compassionate, thoughtful, powerful society.

That's how you process cattle.

It's fucking disgusting.

Tim Drake, as Robin, allowed himself to get captured by Art Thieves to find out where they were hawking their goods. He was not expecting to be sold as one of the items, or for roughly half of the villains in attendance to his auction to lose their fucking minds at the sight of him.

Turned out, they had a soft spot for him because of how often he saved their asses back when Bruce was going off the deep end.

So when they saw Robin, tied up and beat up and being auctioned off like a thing to a room full of people who were more likely to keep the kid as some sort of fucked up pet, they lost it.

The building is destroyed. Priceless art ground into the dirt with nary a care. Catwoman herself ripped a priceless, thought to be lost Van Gogh for the sake of stabbing one of the auctioneers in the leg with the frame they had it in.

By the time Batman arrives, Robin is actively trying to talk everyone down from killing the thieves. Trying.

Scary Sunset.

I'm concepting things way outta order in this story, but I'm sure you can piece things together. Context is for a storybeat where, after defeating and capturing Adagio (thus having all three sirens in her possession), Sunset enacts her revenge plot to release the sirens on Canterlot as Thea discovers she's been manipulated. In a confrontation, the two scuffle and fight over the siren orbs while Sunset struggles with her conflicting wants and emotions.
