Question for anyone who knows: why did they name their Indian rich dude Ashish Kapoor? Was that an intentional dig at Anish Kapoor, asshole artist? And was the disclaimer for "not based on any real person" at the beginning about Anish Kapoor or Elon Musk, because there was a LOT of Elon Musk in that dude's character.

Last Movie: In a theater, Barbie, loved that one. At home ummmm, Neeyat, an Indian who-dun-it movie. Decent plot, some cast members were phenomenal, but the initial execution and certain acting choices were bad decisions.

Currently Watching: Random episodes of Grey's Anatomy, bc series like that are easy to get lost into. But also re-watching Supernatural bc of the @rideordiepod

As someone who knows way more about Hindi music than me, thoughts on Farebi from Neeyat?
ive not seen the film yet but i am a fan of vidya balan so i hope it was good? as for the song its like. fine. it's clearly doing that whole 2016 dangerous woman thriller thing (SORRY that's the first comparison i can make) and it does it well but awari from ek villain is a better dark thriller song imo
#vidya balan to me is one of those actresses who needs to keep doing comeback roles until everyone realizes how awful they treated her like#in dirty picture era#but awari is one of my fave hindi songs full stop#asks

No spoilers
So it's an Indian murder mystery movie. If you've seen murder mysteries before, it doesn't innovate the genre very much. But it's a good movie, and while I guessed some of the reveals, I didn't guess all of them. If it's available for you to watch and you like mystery movies, go for it.
