Quick thing on the David Malukas situation, because so many people are blaming mclaren.

David was hired to race for the team. He broke his hand in a biking accident, which in a lot of cases would be a breach of contract (not proven to be the case here).

He’d already missed four races, and McLaren had to bring on Theo in the meantime. They’re paying for a driver they cannot use. It makes sense they would end the contract. Yes, it sucks for malukas, and I truly wish him all the best, but it’s not McLaren’s fault. It’s not some evil scheme, it’s business.

i feel like the competition in Indycar has ramped up significantly in the past 6 years. In the 90s and 00s there were probably 4-6 top tier drivers that were most likely to win. Now there are easily 10-14 top tier drivers, any of whom could win any event at any time.

And races like long beach remind you how interesting strategy is with refueling. It was a bit of a slow burn race that ended in 15 laps of non-stop fireworks. Incredible racing! Top 5 within 3.5 seconds!

And I mean, Scott Dixon. who else does it like him!

So, you've decided you want to watch the NTT INDYCAR Series but you don't know where to start? We've got you covered.

Starting in 2022 season, there is a new online platform for international viewers to watch practice, qualifying and races live. This service is called INDYCAR Live! and is available here (website) and here (mobile version). All you need to do is create an account using an email address.

And the best thing? INDYCAR Live! is completely free of charge.

Jason Crabb is set to join voices with Jay DeMarcus and Jason Scheff to sing the National Anthem for “The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix NTT INDYCAR Series” race on Sunday, August 6th with a start time of 11:30am CST.  

Jason, Jay and Jason will perform the National Anthem LIVE at 11:11am CST prior to the race. The National Anthem and race will be broadcast on NBC.

One of Gospel and Christian music's most iconic voices, Kentucky-born Jason Crabb has been honored with two GRAMMY® Awards and 22 GMA Dove Awards, the latter including nods for Artist, Male Vocalist, and Song of the Year. He is the youngest member inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, and his hometown of Beaver Dam, Kentucky has paid tribute with a street in his name.

Since his first solo release in 2009, he has performed on many of the world's most prestigious stages such as Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, the Brooklyn Tabernacle, and Billy Graham's final crusade. Crabb's electrifying stage presence, powerhouse vocals and magnetic personality have endeared him to millions across the world through extensive personal appearances, media coverage, and social media including over 20 million views on YouTube.

"Josef Newgarden's win in IndyCar's season-opening race at St. Petersburg was disqualified Wednesday because Team Penske manipulated its push-to-pass system during the race, making Pato O'Ward the winner.

"Penske teammate Scott McLaughlin, who finished third, was also disqualified. Will Power, the third Penske driver, was docked 10 points. Additionally, all three entries have been fined $25,000 and will forfeit all prize money associated with the race"
