Something I find funny in regards to how I view Nuzi, Envy, Vuzi, and NUziV.

Nuzi is the ship that helps me through my traumas.

Envy is the ship where I inflict my traumas onto them.

Vuzi is just funny to me. Also best enemies to lovers.

And a polycule between N, V, and Uzi give me so much comfort. It warms my cold little heart when I see art of the three together or read fics where they all are in a relationship.

Like, yeah, I like reading the Nuzi and Vuzi fics; they make me happy. Envy fics are a hit or miss for me, sorry.

But three broken people finding comfort in each other, whether romantic or platonic, is just…Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh—

I love those three dorks. They deserve to be happy together. Sure, they all need therapy and V needs to mend her relationship with N a bit more, but still.

A “love triangle” turned to a slow burn polycule? Yes please.

#so like i think the common designs of just like a cloaked shadowy figure are nice n all #i think they can be decently creative in their own right #but i wanted to rlly mix things up a lil #ofc i wanted to take it in the furry direction to some degree #but i also wanted it to tow the line between natural and otherworldly #i wanted the 'decay' of him being a split entity to be very present in it #most prominantly being the hole in his chest revealing his heart #i tried to have a lot of holes. signs of things disentegrating. something torn but in an unnatural way. #i wanted some high contrast with the 'void' creeping around his tail; like the end of it was burnt #the yellow markings are all vaguely eye spots #the arm . it didnt quite come thru perfectly but i wanted the upper arm to be like; wirey. a cluster of ropes. #and the hand itself being armor like (decaying around the edges as well; as if it could grow further at any moment) #i went with a snake/slug body bc he only has the hand; no other limbs #i think if i do another draft i might have the hand just floating; not connected at all #ugh i dont wanna design an arthur but i do have an idea for how i wanna display John's vision on him.. #like a flat hologram of eyes hovering just infront of his face #i will say i rlly like when people draw these two with like john and arthurs hands physically overlapping.. its rlly cool... #malevolent #malevolent podcast #john malevolent #art

My god, a spin off of the masquerade event basically writes itself:

You got a character based off of Frollo, Rollo, the OG consumed-by-lust-freak, you got Malleus who couldn’t be happier that you’re tagging along to Noble Bell College, throw in the fact Rollo seems to acknowledge MC as an admirable person paired with his hate-crush on Malleus, who gets to spend time with you, add a bunch of jealousy on both ends, and it’s perfect.

That is to say, I’d feel better writing out the scenario once we have a grasp on why Rollo seems to hold Malleus with contempt(?), but you can bet that I am staring at this event with eyes wide open. 👀👀
