Are monaco allowed to enter eurovision if they want to?? And if so can they send Charles Leclerc when he decides he's done with racing, maybe Lewis can join him. Like surely they'd win
Wasn't there one even in UMK? Or does my memory fail me 😅 In any case, seeing people be amused and entertained by the concept of bananas year after year somewhat restores my faith in humanity 🍌
We did have F3M with Bananas in UMK20 (cursed year 💀) but it was really tame compared to Sean Banan's Melodifestivalen entries Sean Den Första Banan and Copacabanana 🍌
In 2011, unconfirmed rumors on the Czech Eurovision website, Eurosong.cz, announced that Monaco's national broadcaster, TMC, was discussing with the EBU a possible return to Eurovision for the 2012 contest.
However, this rumor was squashed as head of TMC, Phil Bosco, said that the costs were simply too high to consider a participation anytime in the future.

I am thrilled to see that Luxembourg is going to be returning to Eurovision next year! I almost didn’t believe it at first until I saw the source was the official site - it seemed so out of the blue! The contest is always better the more countries that are involved, and I’m super excited to see what they’ll send. I do hope they focus more on local talent than they used to back in the day though! Also, hopefully this is a sign the EBU is serious about getting previous participants involved again - I’d love for more to follow!

On the topic of Eurovision....I would like to see it 👀
On 22 November 2021, L'Observateur de Monaco reported that 100,000 Euros have been allocated towards “initiating the application of the Principality to the Eurovision 2023 competition” in the state budget for 2022.[3] Monaco’s participation in the contest up until 2022 would have required co-operation between the Monegasque Government and broadcaster TMC which is owned by France’s TF1 Group,[4] however, in December 2021, the Monegasque government announced the launch of a new national public broadcaster, Monte-Carlo Riviera, which will be fully owned by the government, opening up a possibility of Monaco returning to the contest under the sponsorship of the Monegasque government starting in 2023.
