The sun outside has dawned and the Moon has risen, moonlight and flames battling for dominance over your lover’s features as he examines you.
A whimper falls from your lips as hands rough with years of wielding a sword part your legs, your hands gripping onto the wood of Chevalier’s desk and feet firmly planted to the carpeted floor.
Everything had started when you had come into Chevalier’s office, fidgeting and unsure of yourself as you stepped up to face him. And it did not take a genius such as your lover to guess that something obviously bothered you.
“Who was this noble woman you talked with at the ball tonight?” You asked, refusing to meet his gaze, shame crawling up the back of your neck and forcing your head down.
You knew how ridiculous this was. For you knew there was no other woman Chevalier’s eyes would ever regard with the tender affection and warmth he bore for you. You knew that, out of all the women on this earth, Chevalier had given his heart to you. Had chosen you.
Yet when you had caught a glimpse of him, glass in hand with another woman at the ball, one of noble birth at that, who must have been so much more well versed in political affairs than you were, your heart had squeezed in your chest.
“A noblewoman of no importance whose father hopes I’ll take as my bride.” Chevalier answered flatly, obviously not regarding this as worth his interest. Busy answering letters and filling papers.
Silence fell between the two of you, heavy on your shoulders as another question weighted on your tongue. But you wouldn’t, as there was only so much you were ready to put out about the ugly green snake twisting around your chest.
“Oh… I see.” You said, smoothing the fabric of your skirts, not daring to break the silence in the room, “Was she-”
“No.” Ice blue eyes looked up from letters to pierce through you, “She is not of any interest to me, nor should she be to you.” He scanned your features, in quest of any emotion that would need his intervention.
You paused, inhaling deeply before meeting his gaze, “Wouldn’t she be a good fit for the crown, though?” Your words fell from your lips without you trying, bitter and poisonous, “Wouldn’t she make a good queen for you and the Kingdom, Prince Chevalier?”
And before you knew it, your lover was up on his feet and striding over to you.
“Chev-” You mutter, a sharp intake of breath drawn from your lungs as a slap falls on the tender flesh of your bum. Pain tingles over the sensitive skin, still warm from Chevalier’s touch.
“Do not speak.” He scolds, voice cold as ice, leaving no room to argue, “You do not have the right to speak right now.” Air fans over your heated skin as your lover hikes up your skirts.
A blissful shiver of anticipation runs up your spine, two lean digits tracing over the wet spot your dampening core has left on your undergarments. He bends over, chest pressed to your back, still clad in his immaculate white shirt, breath hot on your nape as he nips at the supple skin.
“Ah-!” His teeth dig in, marking the spot, wet muscle then lapping at your nape to soothe the sudden jolt of pleasurable pain. “Please-”
“You truly are a simpleton, are you not?” He says, voice low in your ear, “Only a simpleton could question their king’s words. Only a simpleton such as yourself could ever think such foolish things.”
Your words are cut by a gasp as cold air nips at your bare core, undergarments discarded to the floor. The comfort of the fabric replaced by the stretch of Chevalier’s fingers as he sheathes them inside of your warmth.
Blood rushes to your cheeks as his digits squelch in and out of you at an agonizingly slow pace, the room filled with the most sinful of serenade. Wet noises and strangled cries of his name all that fills your head.
“Maybe you need a reminder.” His fingers curl inside of you, “Of why you should never doubt the words of your King.”
His teeth dig in your skin a second time, pain slithering with hot pleasure as the lust pooling between your legs soaks your inner thighs, insides tightening in a scorching knot with every thrust of your lover’s fingers.

Your heart swells at his confession, as the knot inside of you snaps undone and tendrils of pleasure shoot through you. Tears of both pleasure and joy pricking at the corners of your eyes, urged to roll down your cheeks by Chevalier’s merciless digits between your thighs.
He helps you ride out the waves of your high, slowly helping you back down, legs still trembling from his ministrations.
“Chevalier, I-I’m-”
“We are not done.” He cuts you off, you didn’t have to speak for him to understand that you wanted more of him, all of him. “I will ravage you all night, and as long as it takes for these foolish thoughts to leave your mind.”
You know to read between the lines. You know that Chevalier’s love comes in actions rather than words, and you know this is his way of reassuring you. Of showing you that there can be no other for him.

After the rustling of fabric and the zipper of his trousers coming undone, Chevalier gives all of himself to you, sheathing his length inside of you. The delicious stretch tearing a sob from your throat as your walls parted to accommodate him.
His hands are on you, gentle if not a bit rough around the edges as he grips your hips to plunge into you again and again, deeper and deeper but never too much for you to take. He knows your limits, knows what it takes for you to unravel under him and what it takes for you to cry his name.
A guttural groan is the only sound he allows himself to utter, too attentive to your own moans and mewls as he angles his hips higher and bottoms out inside of you, the head of his cock hitting that spot he knows has you crumbling.

As absurd as it sounds, just a few days ago my gardens were littered with giant paw patterns that were far bigger than those of the animals in the local area and...giant furballs.
Not to mention how I didn't even hear any of the ruckus happen...which is why I speculated that such absurdity can only come from this platform.
I've been trying to coax my partridges to return to their wicker huts since then and it has proven to be a very slow process. The poor things are scared senseless- My work around the household has only doubled since then...

i saw the reblog that talks about telling the writer what you remember about their writing and I'VE TO SEND YOU THE ASK NOW-
because you're one of my favorite writers on this platform and i often find inspiration in the way you write. you have such a flowery way of writing that it makes me go like "how can i describe emotions, feelings, and thoughts just as beautifully as kat does??"
and i love how you portray the characters, especially dazai! you write him so in character and i remember one of your works wherein dazai didn't feel deserving of being called beautiful, which made me go like "... no but this is canon. kat has such a great view on his character and she really knows how to explore dazai's character in a way he still feels very canon." it blows my mind honestly.
also, every time you reveal small details about your work it just reminds me of how much thought you put into your work and i love it. it's very inspiring and admirable.
(also, i hope you're doing okay!!)

Are you a hugger? Hell yeah! I’m a hugger, and a snuggler, and a biter, and a poker, and a raspberry blower, and a whatever else you’ll let me-er… I do understand that not everyone’s into it though.
Summer or winter? Eh. Not a fan of extremes. Farming in 40 degrees heat is MISERABLE. Farming in deep winter when pipes are frozen and you spent your morning break 2 inches thick sheets off ice out of water troughs is also MISERABLE… however @look-i-love-u was spot on by saying “there's the point in summer when you just can't take off any more clothes without getting arrested” so I guess Winter 🤷🏽♂️
Coffee, tea, soda, or something else? Tap Water. Then tea. Then fuzzy water. Then ginger ale.
Something about you that might surprise people? Cameron Monaghan and I have more in common than you might think? We’ve both been in Star Wars!
And hey, his character might have a name, but Cal’s “only” in a game. The Tatooine farmer I played was in one of the movies! So I win! 😆
If you had to get a tattoo tomorrow, what would it be? It’s weird to me that I do not have a Buffy tattoo, so probably that? I’m a bleeding heart, so it would 100% be one of the BIG MOMENT quotes, like ‘You’re not special. You’re extraordinary’ or ‘Every girl who could have the power, will have the power, can stand up, will stand up’ or ‘The Good Guys Are Always Stalwart And True’ or ‘Are you ready to be strong?’
But in my more frivolous moments I think I’d be hilarious to get “Out for a Walk… Bitch” on the arch of my foot or something silly like that lol
Would you consider yourself a private person or an open book? I always thought I was an open book. Until a friend of mine of like years and years said that I’m funny and great to be around and supportive and sweet, but that she doesn’t feel like she knows me. That was a brutal thing to be told. Basically, if you ask me anything at all, I will tell you the answer. But I don’t just share of myself because I was raised to think that no one would care, so why bother them with my personal life story? I’m working on that now…

And finally, say something nice to yourself: You’re not well at the moment. Maybe you can’t put an exact name to it. Maybe there’s too many names you can put on it. It doesn’t matter. You’re not well, and that’s valid. You need a break, and that’s valid. You wanna have a nap when you get home from work, and that’s valid. You feel like crying half of the day, and you know what? That’s valid, too. Fuck what you feel you should be doing/being/feeling/achieving. Stop being mean to yourself. Shut the fuck up and listen when people who love you tell you you’re good enough.
Oh, also? No one wants to hunt you for sport.
