a longer post on the subject but i firmly believe that in the sequel(s) the schmidts and the aftons will be revealed to have been connected in some way prior to garrett's kidnapping / murder. whether its bc they're aftons, they're the movie version of the emilys, or some combination thereof, idk, but they've gotta have a link.
william operates around freddy's locations. he even deliberately sends mike to freddy's in order to kill him + abby instead of just killing them anywhere. but he travels to a completely different state in order to take and kill this singular random child? in the games, even the one kid killed outside of freddy's (charlie) is still directly outside of freddy's, and has another connection to him through henry. but garrett? seemingly random.
then he recognizes mike, the circumstances of which just confirm my belief that there's some connection. first he needs to know garrett's last name, and that he had a brother named mike. which okay, still makes me :-/ but not 100% impossible. maybe he interrogated garrett before killing him or smth idk. but then how does he succesfully recognize the two mike schmidts as being the same mike schmidt?
"mike schmidt" is a very generic name and they're in a completely separate state than his encounter with the last mike schmidt, but he's caught off guard after simply reading his name. after recognizing the name, he squints as mike, presumably trying to connect the child mike from nebraska to the grown man mike now, and based on how he operates after this he does recognize him, but how? we don't even know if william ever saw mike in nebraska. if he did, it wasn't for any significant amount of time, and it was years ago. i sometimes have a hard time recognizing childhood photos of my own family members, and im supposed to believe that william recognizes the grown adult version of a child he had little to no interaction with in a completely different state at least a decade ago?
presumably vanessa told william what mike told her about his brother, confirming to him that it's the same mike, but he knew / strongly suspected beforehand just from seeing him and reading his name!! why is the idea that they're the same mike even a possibility in his mind considering the locational difference? why did he suspect just from the name and appearance alone?? there has to be a deeper connection.

My thoughts and theories on the fnaf movie
People have a lot of opinions about the fnaf movie and a lot of them are wrong so I'm going to talk about it
!!FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT!!
People don't like that Vanessa is an Afton, but it makes sense if you look at the movies the same way you would look at the books - not within the same universe but can be looked at to clear up bits of the game's lore.
In the games, we are told Vanny's name is Vanessa A. and she has a father named Bill. Blonde hair and green eyes. Sounds very similar to Elizabeth. Matpat has said that he theorises Vanny/Vanessa to be an grown up robot Elizabeth Afton like Charlie in the original book trilogy, and I'm inclined to agree with him, especially with the overwhelming evidence shown in the movie.
Abby is also supposed to be a stand-in for Elizabeth, with her name being an anagram for Baby, and with her almost being stuffed into an animatronic that looks suspiciously similar to Circus Baby, which mean Mike is also supposed to be similar to Michael Afton from the games.
There's also the similarities between Garett and Charlotte, which makes me believe that Garett is the one possessing the puppet this time around, and also leads into the theory that Mike and Abby are Henry's kids. I don't think either of their parents are named. AND it also gives a reason as to why William would just kidnap and kill some random kid camping in Nebraska. Also at the very end of the movie, much like the FNAF 2 minigames, "come find me" is spelled out with the Puppet's music box in the background, I'm not sure what that could imply for the lore of the games but I am excited for the next movie

Secret? - Schmelly Fanfic (2/?)
“Mike, I forgot to ask you but I need to buy glue and cardboard for my Science class…” — Abby asks as she drags an unicorn plushie through the corridor, half-asleep at 8am, yawning as she realizes that Mike wasn’t alone in the couch, in fact, he was sleeping with his fingers intertwined Vanessa’s hair.
None of them were expecting this appearance, but time didn’t seem to pass when they were together, and they had never been this close. This time, they both woke up at the same time they heard Abby’s voice; their bodies could feel it was already awakening time, so it didn’t take much for them to process what they had just heard.

“We’ll help you as soon as we have breakfast, okay, dear?” Vanessa completely ignores Mike’s try at defending themselves, as if the thought of them being, in fact, a couple, wouldn’t bother her at all. “Come join us, Mr Unicorn is also invited” — says the officer as she winks discreetly at Michael, that reciprocates by smiling, a little shy.
“Okay, thank you. But it’s actually MISS Unicorn, and her name is Rainbow.” Abby jumps at the couch, accidentally stepping on her brother’s leg, which leaves to an “ABBY, MY LEG OUCH”. Although it kind of hurts at the moment, Mike jokes: “We don’t need another injured person, Abby, or are you gonna take care of me if you hurt my leg??”. All of them laugh. Vanessa even had forgot about her sore stomach. Mike had been such a nurse to her; he would never forget the pill time or to change the band aids. He had to learn how to take care of her sister since their parents passing, so he was surprisingly good at first aids and stuff, he even had a little medicine box in case they ever needed something.
They were always used to running short on money, but health is something that Mike would always prioritize, especially if it was regarding to his sister’s. He’s the type of person that would stay with a broken arm, but if Abby papercut her finger, he would come back from work just to make sure she was safe. He promised himself he would pay all the attention that he didn’t on the day Garrett was took. He blammed himself everyday for it and, deep down, he knew everyone blammed himself, including his parents and family, although they’d deny if asked about it.
And with Vanessa, it wouldn’t be different. He didn’t have any relatives besides Abby, so she literally is his family. And now, Vanessa too. At least, while she’d stay in his house, he’d consider her as a responsibility of his. But he didn’t like to consider a future where she just leaves. Now that William is gone, Vanessa’s situation is very similar to Mike’s, except that she doesn’t have even a little sibling. It’s just her, herself, and she. Surely she had a comfortable life because of her job, but you could say that the only stable aspect was the financial. She’s just as traumatized as Mike is, or even more.

After around 30 minutes of family cuddling, they decide it’s breakfast time. Mike’s frying eggs and bacon while listening to the radio; music is one of the few pleasures he allows himself to have. He’s more of a rock guy, but in general enjoys all kind of songs. Even pop, although it’s only when he’s with Abby.
“Thriller” by Michael Jackson starts playing on the radio. Vanessa, which is at the table with Abby, says she loves this song — it reminds of when she was a little kid and would listen to it with her father, albeit she doesn’t mention this part. William might be a serial killer, and a monster, but he’s a man of culture. “The music video gives me chills, but the song is pretty fun” Abby says as she trembles her hands to indicate fear. “…did you know my brother knows some of the choreography??” she tickles to him, that responds with “Yes, but don’t mention it” afraid Abby might ask him to demonstrate it
“Oh my God. This one I would pay to see!” Vanessa declares, unbelieving. “By the way, I might have forgotten a lot of things but I still remember very clearly that you owe me a dance, Mr Schimdt” she says in a kind of flirty but also oblivious way. She knows Mike knows what she’s talking about, and that by referring to him like that, he would feel things.
“Dance! Dance! Dance!” — Abby starts shouting in a rhythm contagious enough to make Vanessa join her. “HA. HA. HA. Nice try, not today though. So you two decided to team up against me? I guess I’ll just have to bring Cassidy here so we can have a fair girl-woman and boy-man competition, because you’re clearly praying for my downfall” he says as he points two fingers at his own eyes and then at them, as in a “I’m watching out” way.
Mike finishes preparing the food, and is now serving his sister and his… his what? Colleague? Roommate? Friend? Were they ever friends? Anyway, he displays three plates with two eggs and one piece of bacon each, in a way that resembles a smiley face. “Besides your cooperation to embarass me, that’s how you two make me feel.” he says gently. “Aww”, say Vanessa and Abby at the same time, but the woman completes with “That’s also how you make us feel, Mike. Thank you for everything.”
“About the cardboard thing, Abby, do you really need it for today or is it okay if we buy it tomorrow?” — suddenly Vanessa reminds of what woke them up this morning.
“Today we’re going to watch a movie at school, so it’s ok if we buy it tomorrow, Nessa. I hope we watch Shrek, it’s my favorite movie” — Abby responds. She really likes Shrek, she has watched it over 10 times and never gets tired of it. At this point, Mike’s even memorized half the dialogues.
“That’s great, so what about we give your brother some peace of mind and we go to the store on our own? We can have a girls-only shopping!”
“Yes!!! I’m in” — the little girl isn’t used to going out with anyone that isn’t Mike, and she kind of misses having a mother figure. Of course she was going to accept it.
“That sounds great, I’ll go to the laundromat while you two have fun, just don’t gossip about me, okay?” — although Mike enjoys taking care of Vanessa, he was really needing some time alone, for himself and his thoughts. Socializing can be rather tiring sometimes, especially for him; he’s not very used to it, since he doesn’t have many friends and people are usually rude to him. Few are the people that he actually enjoys spending time with. And they were going stationery shopping together the next day.
“Then you’d be taking the best part away from us” — Vanessa says, trying to provoke him. She loved to do that, and he’d never be actually bothered by it. Both of them liked the tension when they did this, although Mike rarely was the one to start it.
“Don’t worry, Mike. I won’t tell her your secret.” — Abby joins Vanessa. “Secret? There’s a secret? Hmmm… Now that you’ve started, Abby, you’re gonna have to say it, but I can wait till tomorrow” it interests Vanessa, but deep down she’s just playing along to see Mike’s reaction.
“Abby. Don’t make things up.” — he does have secrets, but none of them was once shared with his sister. There are some things, most of the things, by the way, that he keeps to himself. So his sister was likely joking, but it worries him a little. What was she up to?

heres some au stuff while i work on a longer story. mainly just for me so ik who everyone is but thought it would be good to post as well.
goldenrock au stuff below the cut bc its a tad long.

William: Still a serial killer but matches/mirrors Vanny from SB. so also a ness counterpart
Everyone else is the same mostly, don't really change the roles besides the fact that instead of CC (Greg in og) getting possessed by my mimic/glitch trap, it's mike (for GGYthing. Name would be MCL.) And William is still evil. He just follows a similar role to Vanny in sb but isn't a reluctant follower. He welcomes vanni as a parasite. He also is still partners with henry (business) but now they just own fredbears megaplex. Henry is basically the same. Charlie and Mike are close in age and Sammy is here too. And Jeremey. Bc gays. everyones a bit older here so like 16-17. They all work (illegitimately) at the plex as security guards on weekends and afterschool. Cheaper to pay and it keeps them out of trouble (looking at mike specifically). Vanessa is a corpse bc uhh… michael counterpart. She still works at the company as a repairman, but is not seen till later. all 5 missing kids (susie, gabriel, ect) are here as well, and they do indeed end up missing (more on that later)
Now animatronics.
Goes up to the toys bc i like them best. So the mini music men are the main toys, with mangle as the actual music man. There's only 3 mini’s obviously lmao. Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica. But they are very fast and perform with mangle in the arcade. Puppet is a map bot but also sun and moon?. she floats from the celling like moon does with his cord but thats where the similarities end. She gives guests glowing green wristbands that serve as the fazwatch in this universe. its for parents to keep track of their kid, using an app?? But here it is used to track kids to isolate them from each other, and make them go “missing”. Like circus baby if ykwim. Speaking of which, circus baby. I like her. So she's here as well. Remember peepaw afton. Yeah well that's circus baby now. Used to get vanni (parasite little bitch) what she needs to survive, a body of her own.
And uh funny story. Elizabeth finds out that her dad is possessed by a parasite from the 80’s and her brother is controlled by something similar, so William takes action ig. But wait. I'm not letting her go just yet. Afterall, Evan and Cassidy need a buddy to travel with as well, right? Their 2 extra friends aren't quite enough… So more on that later for spoiler reasons. also no mimic bc i dont even want to delve into that can of worms... closest u get is circus baby. be happy its JUST circus baby lmao
Ok main animatronics. Roxy, Glam Freddy, Spring Bonnie, and Golden Freddy. All the glamrocks are present in the 1980's original diner, but Ness got a bit angry and uhhh... oops Vanni made her kill people haha. so they are. gone. for now. Roxy and Freddy are completely robotic and have no sentience. Not in the traditional sense anyway. But… Spring Bonnie and Golden Freddy are. Got all that fun AI jazz. They don't match up with any of the glamrocks in particular? Just kind of their own character. So obviously spring bonnie gets the glitch thing from MCL William and is trying to kill Cassidy and Evan. Same with mangle and the toys. But GoldF is like glamrock freddy, AS A ROLE. completely diff personality. So he helps the kids. And that's when stuff really goes down.
Yeah. just explanation stuff hehe. left out greg, ness and cassie bc ive already talked about them a lot.

This is a bit of a rant about Henry and why I think he's mischaracterised a ton, I might make a similar thing about Vanessa (specifically her movie counterpart) in the future but for now I am too tired to write more of this.
The TLDR version of this is that people tend to make conclusions of characters without reading in between the lines. You're always free to make up your own interpretations of characters, but you can almost never tell people the exacts unless heavily hinted at or explicitly said due to the mysterious and jumbled up nature of FNAF. Different interpretations are so fun to look at, but there is a difference between that and trying to force your points into canon when the evidence just isn't there.
Overall, Henry is no cinnamon roll based on the things he's done in the series. He's not perfect and that's what makes a character seem human. However, what annoys me about the "Henry is a fundamentally bad person who doesn't care about others" people (not the people who have their own interpretations or AUs, but the people who try and push and push it on others and/or claim that any other interpretation of him is wrong) is that the only big chunks of information we have about him come from Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator and the Silver Eyes Trilogy, both of which show him at his worst and not often at his best. The rest are crumbs that don't tell us heaps, only enough to map out a basic personality.
In FFPS, he'd only just learnt recently that the souls of the children were possessing the animatronics, and he already decided he was going to dedicate the rest of his life to putting them to rest. He cut a bunch of corners because he was so racked up with guilt after this revelation; he was racing to the finish line of his own life. His methods became extreme and even a bit aggressive because he wasn't gonna be around if his plan failed. He burnt Michael because he was a loose end, a literal walking corpse, who is only still alive because he's trying to find his father and take him down. Since that had been crossed off the list, he saw it as okay, which yeah isn't cool, but if he asked Michael he would probably just shrug at him.
The only other time we hear about him in the games is when we hear he's distancing himself from Fazbear Entertainment around FNAF 2, and for a few years as well, meaning he probably left sometime after the Missing Children's Incident. Besides the springlock suits, since he made them, you can't really figure out who was in charge of a large majority of Fazbear Entertainment's weird safety decisions because he was absent. Whether or not you think that was him is up to your interpretation.
In the Silver Eyes, we get to know just a little bit about him from before the murders. He's caring, but distractible. He's friendly, but a recluse and deep down very lonely. He's intelligent and creative, but he's still very naïve and gets overwhelmed by his grief, pushing other people away including his own family to try and bring back what he lost, only losing more in the process. By the end of his life he had made a ton of horrible mistakes and decided he'd done permanent damage to himself that wasn't worth trying to fix. We learn that he was pretty okay before the murders, not perfect but he was trying, but his daughter's death and the subsequent Missing Children's Incident ruined that.
So, in conclusion. Bad person? Good person? He's not truly either. He has good intentions from the beginning and is friendly, but he's reclusive and doesn't really speak up about things, only really focusing on what he loves. Unfortunately, he's also very fragile and is willing to go to extremes once the stakes are high and his mental state is broken. So, he's not perfect or "pure" by any means, but he's still an alright person who only really wanted to entertain people and live with his family. I think it's weird we never see him at his best. This is also one of the reasons why I think it'd be cool if we had more content surrounding Fredbear's Family Diner, I think it would clear up a lot of stuff, not just that, but also about the early days of the restaurant, how it got big, the dynamics in the Afton and Emily households, and how William Afton truly acted from the beginning.

idk if anyone else has said it yet, but i’m feeling bitter right now, so i will (also it’s just always bothered me)
has anyone else ever noticed the difference in fan opinions between Michael and Vanessa?
in many ways, they are VERY similar characters.
they’re both night guards, have been fucked over by William, killed kids, and barely actually show up in the games.
however, Michael is treated like a goddamn king by the fandom, while Vanessa barely gets scraps. she’s regarded as a bitch so often, is hated on constantly, and/or is sometimes flat out ignored or erased from stories entirely.
oh no! a woman is grumpy! she MUST be a bitch!
Vanessa isn’t a bitch. she’s an underpaid security guard that has her entire career on the line throughout the whole game. there’s a loose child in the Pizzaplex. she’s literally trying to do her damn job so she won’t get fired.
more than that, Vanessa is clearly under a severe amount of psychological stress. she’s being mind controlled by a serial child killer to murder people. you’re telling me you also wouldn’t be in a constant bad mood if that was your life?? and even if you don’t think Vanessa is Vanny, Vanessa STILL has mental health issues. that much is proven by the therapy tapes (i think it’s canon that she has depression and anxiety? and maybe PTSD? i can’t remember; it’s been awhile since i was hyperfixated on this game). god forbid a person, a woman no less, shows the negative aspects of their mental illness!
like, depression, anxiety, AND PTSD all cause irritability and anger issues. anxiety literally triggers your fight or flight, and not everyone automatically cowers into their flight instinct. PTSD has a little something called “hyperarousal,” which is a constant state of anger.
but okay, mental health issues can’t be used as an excuse for things, alright. it’s still late at night. people get irritable and cranky the more they stay up. lack of sleep causes aggression.
but really, none of that matters because Vanessa is justified in her grouchiness through the entire game since, again, she’s doing her job.
and it’s not even like she says or does anything that bad! i’ve seen people treat her like she’s some kind of monster, and for what? because she made a hollow threat about scrapping Freddy?? it was, like, two in the morning, people! people say things they don’t mean when they’re 1) tired and 2) emotional. and we all know she doesn’t have the authority to do that, so she wouldn’t actually go through with it.
also need i remind everyone that Vanessa is treated poorly by her OWN CREATOR?? she’s grossly sexualized. we all know what the Vanny suit looks like. it’s skintight. it’s very obviously designed in a way to highlight ALL her curves. Scott did that on purpose. and like,,, why?? she’s a murder bunny. why does she have to be “attractive”?
don’t get me wrong, i like the design for Vanny, i just hate the suit. i love the idea of her looking all patchwork, like Vanessa tore apart different articles of clothing to make the costume because she couldn’t get enough fur, so she could have been this big mess of thick white fur with splashes of a bunch of random materials in between the pelt. that could have easily shown how, like, “unpracticed” she is. it’s a shoddy suit made by someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
but NOOOO, Scott had to go, “how can i show that she’s a woman who has boobs?!?!??!? how can i bring her boobs into this?!?!?! what about her boobs?!?!?! we can’t forget about her boobs!!!!”
like, dude, we know she has boobs. she’s a killer bunny, not a playboy bunny. let’s not blur the lines, Scott.
you know, it’s really saying something when the plush of a character is less sexualized than the design itself. i own a Vanny plush (it look, like, three months for her to ship), and she looks great! she’s super cute! but, GOD, the DUALITY between her and the actual Vanny is GLARING.
but also, this isn’t anything new. most of Scott’s female characters get the treatment of being sexualized.
it’s just so goddamn frustrating to see male characters get held up on a higher pedestal than female characters. this is an issue in most fandoms. the women are treated like shit. and it’s infuriating.
just— if Vanessa were a guy, people would NOT treat her the way they do. and if she were a man, Vanny’s suit would have been less sexualized and more like an actual animal suit.

Last minute predictions, some art, my spoiler tags for the film
So I'm going to see the FNAF Movie in a few hours!! I will be marking my review with #FNAFmovie #FNAFmoviespoilers #spoilers so make sure you MUTE those tags for a bit!
I will be seeing the movie at least once in the theatre and on streaming, so I'll write my review once I've watched both (especially twice) and I'll type up a short like 'first impressions' before that, all in the same post.
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
This is my outfit for the movie! I was SO HAPPY my wife got me this Springtrap shirt because I LOVE this artist so much and I got to support them. I'll also be sporting my purple bunny ear bow, hopefully carrying Spring Bonnie, and my Tamagotchi Pix Party (purple, with Mametchi in his FNAF themed room! Of course I will have it on silent / in my wife's purse for the film itself. Remember movie etiquette people, don't be an asshole) I also have my plaid face mask but I shouldn't need it.. lol Also my wife put some of my Willry art on one of those phone pop holders! I needed a new one for my crappy phone that is more busted than Springtrap lol...
So my predictions, what you came here for...
I think the movie is gonna be fairly easy going and similar to the novels in the terms of the first batch of kids meeting their happiest day/being freed. I think a lot of the film will be Michael trying to keep Abby/Elizabeth in line as he tries to work his 6 hours. I imagine this trouble will summon Vanessa or Vanessa will be Michael's boss. I think we will get flashback footage to Fredbear's Family Diner but it will be minimal. I have been staying spoiler free, but I think Hank/(Maybe?Henry) will be more present than he has been in previous material, but not by much. Perhaps as Uncle Hank he took care over for Michael and Abby after William's disappearance. Who knows? My biggest fears for the film are my perception of William changing a lot... I have a very counter-fan view of him but I also think the sociopath fans make him is inaccurate. Scott's William is very much a madscientist with a flamboyaunt streak and that's what I wanna see! (I mean, he's still a serial killer, so he will be creepy, but I think in a very fun camp way ala 90's slashers, perhaps something closer to a 70's sci-fi mad scientist if we see more of Scott's personal influence) All in all, I think the first 30 minutes will focus on the status quo of the Diner, Fazbear's backstory, and Michael and Abby's relationship leading up to the night shift. The night shift itself will be a slow build for another twenty to thirty minutes, probably prolonged by Vanessa's inclusion and her explaining more about the history (from what I heard in the trailers) after the animatronics start to move. We'll get an action sequence kind of like Aliens where they learn how to animatronics work / attack and avoid them, Abby will probably be a huge PITA and get seperated, possibly running into Spring Bonnie and the dead kids. Michael and Vanessa try to rescue her, ultimately leading to a confrontation with William/Spring Bonnie that will tie into FNAF 2 (and based on what my wife told me about Bazz, this will be where we see the original 4 kids set free--I can't say how active Golden Freddy will be... I imagine if he IS Michael's brother, we will get splashes of him through the film and I don't think he will be freed at the end). The post-credits scene will show Springtrap and maybe a hint of the Toys for FNAF Movie 2. That's my prediction!! :)

Reposting my FNAF Movie thoughts into its own post bc I realized a reblog wont show up in the tags! WARNING MAJOR FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S GAME, BOOK, AND MOVIE SPOILERS!!!
First off the movie is set in a different timeline/universe from the games and books but does have parallels to both. A majority of the parallels are with the Silver Eyes trilogy except of course the role of Mike is closer to that of Charlie, rather than Mike Schmitt's namesake Michael Afton.
The role switches and changes are as follows:
William Afton > Himself
Michael Afton > Vanessa/Elizabeth Afton
Charlie Emily > Mike Schmidt
Sunny Emily > Garrett Schmidt
Abby Schmidt > New Character
Mike's Unnamed Father > Henry Emily (most likely)
Golden Freddy Child > Potentially Evan
Michael and Evan Afton may not exist in the movie universe, similar to how in the Silver Eyes trilogy Elizabeth is the only of Afton's children that is mentioned. The bite of '83 does not happen in the books and an unrelated character named Michael (Scott likes this name I guess) inhabits Golden Freddy instead of Evan. We do see the child ghost assigned to Golden Freddy in the movie, but we don't get any other information about him. He is given more emphasis than the other children, has more speaking roles, and shares a meaningful (?) look with William at the very end of the movie. There is also the line that William says to Vanessa during their fight; "This all started because of you." If Vanessa had a similar role to Michael in this universe, she could have caused the bite of '83 which was the first death within the game series (with a canon date given) and is theorized by many to have been the catalyst of William's murders. So that would mean that this child who represents Golden Freddy would be Evan or at least Vanessa's sibling. Visually they do look like they could be siblings, with them both being fair skinned and blonde.
Vanessa's role is very reminiscent of Elizabeth's in the books. She knows about her father's crimes and is desperate for his approval and attention, despite the abuse he put her through. The key differences are that Vanessa lives to adulthood and that she resists her father's control rather than being consumed by it. It is very likely that Vanessa Monroe's real name in the movie universe is actually Elizabeth Afton, since she could be going by a different alias in adulthood, like how William is going by Steve Raglan. Her position in the story is closer to Michael's in the games: The sole living child of Afton who tries to put a stop to their father's crimes.
Mike Schmidt's role in the story is a bit more mysterious. I believe that he is meant to be the son of this universe's Henry Emily. Not much evidence for this is shown in the movie, aside from William recognizing Mike's last name in his files (though this could be attributed to him recognizing Mike as the brother of a child he killed, but he seemed very shaken up which makes me think it's deeper than that). However Mike's experiences and backstory are very similar to that of Charlie Emily in the books. Aunt Jane could be a parallel to Henry's canon sister: Aunt Jen. Aunt Jen raised Charlie in the books after Henry committed suicide, similar to how Aunt Jane is trying to get custody of Abby after the suicide of her father. Charlie holds a lot of guilt and trauma over the kidnapping of her brother Sammy, just like how Mike is dealing with the trauma of his brother Garrett getting kidnapped. Mike says in the movie that he feels closer to his dead brother while at the restaurant, which made me think of how Charlie follows a similar intuition with places where she feels closer to her own dead brother (it gets complicated in the books but at this point she had thought it was her brother's spirit). Mike's apparent lack of knowledge about the Fazbear Franchise or the murders is very problematic for this theory, but the other parallels just feel too intentional to ignore. If the movies are going to have the same crazy twists and scifi logic as the books, many inconsistencies can be excused with that sort of thing. For example, maybe Mike was the one who was kidnapped instead of Garrett and he is actually a super realistic robot implanted with false memories recorded by his father who was in grief after his death? (< Charlie's actual backstory) Or maybe Abby is the hyper realistic robot that their father made to replace Garrett? The possibilities are endless with this series, although I wouldn't object to a more simple approach for the movies.
That being said, this new universe could be read exactly as it has been explained thus far in the movie: William Afton has a daughter named Vanessa Monroe. Mike Schmidt is an unrelated party whose brother was killed by William Afton. Personally I would prefer if it was more complicated than that, but that's just me!

FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS BELOW!,GONNA GIVE MY THOUGHTS ON THE MOVIE SO IF U DONT WANT SPOILER BYEEEEEE
First of all,man that intro was so cool!,i thought at first the guy who was escaping was phone guy but nah,and when i mean the cool part i mean the intro animation!,it sounds made up but the people in my screening of the movie started cheering and clapping (me included lol),it was just such a good yet important detail,like,shit,the peopl who made these movies at least know something abt the og games!
I first thought that Mike was gonna be related to the FNAF 4 kid,like the normal lore is,i was a bit dissapointed that he wasn´t since i love fnaf 4 and michael afton so much,but its fine,mike and abbey´s scenes where so very cute
William Afton noticing Mike´s name had me at the edge of my seat,like,AAAAGH!,Is he gonna be his son or not?,sadly not but it´s okay anyways,people in my show were making shaggy jokes of course
Matpad!!!!,my boy,i didn´t recognize him at first but after i did i was so happy omg!!!,such a sweet cameo,still sad markiplier wasn´t able to appear this time but it´s okay!

The animatronics building that bed thingy idk how its called in english was a bit odd yet funny,during the abby scenes where were a lot of laughs and awwwww,a bit out of place for the movie but its a cute movie still and they still try to kill abby after so :p
The picture drawings being what the animatronics thought as true was confusing???,it was very weird to be honest,i feel like them thinking the guard is who killed them because of their suit makes more sense,idk why they went in that direction but eh

I was listening to some voice lines from FNAF vr the tape girl specifically, it occurred to me that her and baby are very similar
They start out in the beginning as friendly and trustworthy, trying to help guide you as you play. They then begin to tell stories about there experiences in an almost detached manner, seeming to lack understanding of what they saw. The tape girl says there was a mask on the floor and “ink” she says that she didn’t understand. Sound familiar?
In the end both baby and tape girl trick you into become a vessel for something more, something you always vaguely knew was a threat but could not confirm until it got you
This also strengthens the parallel between Michael and Vanessa as they both got trick in basically the same way by similar people, there bodies got used and lives ruined. I wonder if Vanessa in the good set free ending will end up like micheal, dedicated to shutting down fazbears and stopping crime? Would she become a cop like she does in the movie?

So, I read a bit about a Sleuth Jester reverse Au similar to cowboy Au, and I couldn't help but think about adding some differences to it to make it more interesting, after some time thinking I decided to share it just to let you know how long your story has turned around.
So, let's go with the reader and Eclipse first. Eclipse is a chief of the police station where the sleuth reader works.
Y/N is actually someone a bit corrupt, not in the sense of abusing innocents, rather he takes advantage of his detective title to get away with it. Imagine a child abuse case, probably the abuser would end up in a hospital before stepping foot in the courtroom, but Y/N is not a suspect because he is the one in charge of investigating who did it, and no one suspects Y/N, not even the victim because Y/N is good at what he does. He acts sweet but is lethal.
Eclipse is scary to the naked eye, he's big and strong, but he's very gentle. He doesn't use his strength unless it's really necessary and respects people's boundaries. Someone totally lawful.
The relationship between Eclipse and Y/N boils down to people going to the sweet and kind Y/N when he could kill in seconds due to fear of Eclipse, but in reality the more harmless one is Eclipse. Eclipse is aware that Y/N abuses his power but doesn't care, he knows he is taking justice into his own hands, something he would like to do but can't because of moral codes. Y/N respects Eclipse and will follow his rules, but Eclipse almost never asks him to follow any rules beyond not killing someone.
When he was younger the Afton mafia suggested Eclipse join but he refused saying he would find a job elsewhere, however, his brothers Sun and Moon agreed and went with that mafia. Eclipse was lucky to work as a security assistant in a hospital and was able to be a cop. You'll know where this is going, simply Sun, Moon and Eclipse have a clash of interests and while the first two say it's for the good of all Eclipse disagrees. In the end Sun and Moon go with the Afton mafia and years later they repent and along with Vanessa take it upon themselves to wipe them all out, however now Michael has another Afton 2.0 mafia. Sun and Moon are vigilantes but because of shame they don't go back to their brother, they get curious about the detective who is always around their brother and end up falling in love, becoming flirtatious and earning themselves being covered up from time to time by Y/N (They are some kind of vigilante after all).
Here the reader is so close to Eclipse that the police chief confessed to him about the past with vigilants. Eclipse is a little uneasy about his brothers' approach to a the detective, he knows them and fears they will hurt Y/N for being slightly corrupt, but upon further inquiry he is totally okay with sharing. Later on even the four of them team up to save a girl named Charlie who much younger was kidnapped by William and Michael seeks to finish a job for his father.
You could see it as an ending where everyone is a happy family and there is a good and lawful Eclipse, along with a vigilant Sun and Moon and a reader who will beat up the smaller criminals while the twins for the bigger ones.

I love the twist on the dynamics, leaving it familiar but fresh enough to be exciting! Ahhhh, this is so fantastic! I love that Y/N is still bending the rules to accomplish what they feel is the right thing. Regretful but determined to do right vigilante boys is mmm lovely and Eclipse being lawful and *cough* respectful of personal space is refreshing hehe
The family drama in this one would end on a much happier note.

I need help. So, there’s a show in Re-envisionedverse called Don’t Come Killing. It’s an Undertale x FNaF AU. I already matched up the characters to whoever I thought fit them from both franchises. But, I apparently suck at drawing robots. So, I need some help from other creators on here to help me make the designs (I will credit, of course!).

Any other characters are sold as pins and magnets since, as this AU’s story is mostly about a “kids TV show”. Those characters are background characters that don’t really react to what the main ones (Tori, Asgore, Flowey/Asriel, Sans, Papy, Undyne, Metta, and Alphys) say or do.

So, after a month and a half of the official trailer for the Five Nights at Freddy's movie has been released, and with the strike happening, these are my own thoughts and I have come up with my own theory of how the movie might go down.
After the bite of 83, Mrs. Afton divorced William and sent Michael to live with her relatives, the Schmidts. Mary Stuart Matterson has been confirmed to be playing Aunt Jane, who's been described as "icy." Maybe this is Mrs. Afton's sister?
My belief is that due to the media coverage of the Bite of 83 and the fact that police still suspected her husband in the missing children's incident, Mrs. Afton secretly and legally had Michael's surname changed to Schmidt (therefore making him Mike Schmidt) in order to protect him. Not long after changing his name, I do believe Mrs. Afton divorced William and moved to be with her son.
Speaking of Michael, since Wyatt M. Parker plays a younger Mike, possibly in a flashback, this adds more credence to the idea of Michael Afton being Mike Schmidt in this film.
Also, another thing to note is in a behind-the-scenes photo, the way the Foxy mask is aligned with the actor's head is very similar to how the older brother would wear the Foxy mask in Fnaf 4. This can't be just a coincidence.
Back to the movie, I do believe that given the trauma and guilt from the Bite of 83, Michael repressed most, if not all of his memories of the entire ordeal so that by his mid-teens, he's completely forgotten about his two siblings (if Elizabeth Afton does exist in the film's universe), his father, and Fredbear's Family Diner.

I do believe that it's around Michael's mid-teen years that Mrs. Afton has Abby Schmidt (played by Piper Rubio) with the intention to never tell either of them about William or anything else. If Abby is indeed Mike's younger half-sister, this would make her the younger half-sister of the three main Afton children (Michael, Garrett, and Elizabeth), which would make for a real tearjerker if this is true.
Due to Mike being described as someone with "a few prospects" and "low on options," I'm assuming that before taking on the job of night guard at Freddy's, Mike went through several part-time jobs every few months to try to make ends meet and take care of his sister.
Now, I do believe that Abby seeing the ghosts of the five missing children is possible. If you notice one of her drawings, it shows her, Mike, Vanessa, and the animatronics. It is worth noting that her drawing of Mike depicts him in the same outfit he wears when he is confronted by the ghosts of the deceased children in the forest, which is peculiar as Abby is clearly shown to not be present in those scenes.
I do believe that Vanessa was misguided or lying somewhat in the trailer when she says, "They (the animatronics) want to make her like them." If you rewatch the trailer, you'd notice that in no shot does it show the main four animatronics going after Abby in a threatening way. The closest we get is Foxy looking away from Abby to look at Mike, and even though it's a bit blurry to see, Abby doesn't look the least bit frightened of him. Even more is that Foxy was probably neutral looking at Abby and only got angry when he saw Mike.
So, what do you think of my theories of the upcoming Fnaf movie? As much as I'd like to see more in trailers, it looks like a second official trailer just won't be happening and we'd have to wait until October 27th. Please let me know your thoughts below! 🙏

(going to be tagging this as ruin spoilers but please dont comment any spoilers because we're not actually done with all the game. We've gotten 2/3 endings and are working towards the secret ending where you have to find hidden cameras while also replaying and seeking out the secrets we missed. This is seriously just insane ramblings aimed at no one i just need to get my thoughts out and suggest u scroll past.)
I seriously like. Am struggling to figure out the whole plot of ruin in an analytical story timeline sense. No i do not read or care about fan theories, i interpret the game and the lore by playing it and looking at all the clues myself thank you very much, so my interpretation of the lore is. different from most fans (you have to consider: very autistic, fnaf a Huge special interest for me. So when i analyze lore, i analyze as much as i can, every single secret. And i feel like a lot of people Miss main lore secret plot points. Im not trying to be a contraian, id love for the fans to have good theories. But like 70% of the time they dont. Or theyre dumb lil kids who blindly listens to mat pat)
my interpretation of sb is different from most fans and theories (mostly because I actually take help wanted and ar into account and can like. Use my brain to understand the differences between the vanessas (there are two. The murderer vanny, who we play as in help wanted, is referred to in ar, and is the one in the therapist tapes) and vanessa the nightguard, who's COMPLETELY unrelated and just an innocent nightguard who happens to have the same name and face as vanessa murderer (though it is also possible to me that like. Murderer vanessa chose to try to look more like nightguard vanessa in an attempt to shift the blame of her crimes, but we dont know this for sure.)and i dont think the therapist tapes are two different people because thats STUPID and it obviously is murderer vanessa (people just. Cannot possibly understand that a person being possessed by an entirely different entity might have changes in her prrsonality. Or that a person with anxiety might have something similar to selective mutism or at the VERY least: troubles speaking because of said murderer in her brain)
ANYWAYS THATS A HUGE ASS TANGENT. MY MAIN THOUGHTS AS OF PLAYING RUIN RN (Please dont spoil things for me im not completely done) is that mainly: i dont know who is speaking to us or who mimic is.
There may be two different people communicating with us with the vanni network (as evidenced by helpi changing eye colors and how like. Some of the motives seem conflicting?) Initially i was like "oh its glitchtrap or williams spirit or something." But that doesnt make any sense because glitchtrap gets Trapped and is worked against.
Even tho that was my first thought: i dont think mimic is burntrap, or william, or glitchtrap. But i dont know what it is, because there are no other obvious characters that it could be in mind (tho since its michaels old fnaf 6 restaurant theyre in, and we saw the blob down there, god knows it could be any number of old ass animatronics or spirits)
Another very fuckin obvious thought is: hey where the fuck is vanny. With the whole mask mechanic, the plot revolving around glitchtrap, ect, you THINK we'd see her st least once. And though she has a cameo in the bad ending which is clearly a vision/fantasy/trick, she doesnt actually appear. The INSTANT That we started this game i speculated: is she talking through helpi? The yellow eyes reminded me of an early sb teaser artwork where we see a close up of a vanessas face with striking, yellow eyes, and i was never sure the significance of that... But i dont think its related at all, as mimic seems to be the one speaking when helpi has yellow eyes. Is mimic related to vanny somehow? I wouldnt assume so.
Whats weird about vanny not being there is it makes it seem like shes not carrying out glitchtraps bidding, which is odd. Dont y'all come at me with that "Gregory helped her!" Crap, the burntrap ending is the canon ending so that never happened. It makes sense for her to be against him (shes never really been on her side, shes the RELUCTANT follower. She explicitly does not want to do any of the horrible shit, but shes beinf forved to) but i just. Gahh i cant figure it out

Glam bon was a defect- he remembered his past and confronted vanny about it before she got rid of him entirely putting the blame onto monty. Hes actually been gaslit into believing he did it- but the audience has been told bonnie just retired.
deedee isn’t real- she was lizzie’s doll that cassidy turned into a being that exists to only torment afton in this little “game” cassidy has made for him in ucn- xor comes out when cassidy looses her patience

candy cadet is a man inside a metal outfit- made to resemble a knight/cowboy because that was his gimmick- musicman and candy cadet never angered afton so they were reused until vanny got bored and stoped taking care of them

The springlock incident was william commiting “sewerslide” after the guilt of what he did caught up to him- it worked but omc’s curse prevented his body from resting. He will have to exist just like all his other victims but he is dead by his own hand snd looks mutilated because the process was very messy
spring has a consious- he dosent get enjoyment exactly in what hes doing but he just dosent think he can stop anymore. Hes always had an obsession with death and now he has become it
