Some more old drawings of Melaina and Cadeyrn because I WANNA TALK ABOUT THEM DANG IT!!!!

The biggest thing you need to know about these guys is they are the parents of Sonic, Shadow, and Silver in the Immortals AU!! Through a series of events, Melaina was forced to erase the Triple S Trio's memories and send them to different points in time and space for their protection. Shadow was sent to the Ark in the past, Sonic was sent to the Great Forest in the present, and Silver was sent to the apocalypse of the future.

53:

“Well, travel safe then,” the man said with a kind smile. “I’ll see you later then?”

Shadow stopped spinning his ring, freezing cold. Would he see him? Would he ever see this wonderful man again? He wanted to. He desperately wanted to.

Something about this man filled something in Shadow. Some impossibly deep hole that had seemed unfillable for so long. This man . . . was like Maria. He brought peace and happiness to a room with his smile, with his mere presence. 

But that didn’t change the fact that this world had to die. And this man had to die with it. That couldn’t change. 

Shadow nodded, looking at the floor. Even if this man’s death was inevitable, as much as that tore Shadow up inside, he’d make sure to visit him one last time before the end of the world. 

He didn’t get to say goodbye to Maria.

That wouldn’t happen again with this man.

Sonic sighed again. “It’s about . . . them.”

“Your biological family?” Tails guessed.

Sonic flinched. He didn’t like that word. ‘Biological.’ Like that meant that these people were more important than the family he’d found all on his own. The people he’d spent all his life with. Tails . . . Mom and Dad . . .

“They just . . . expect me to be okay with it,” Sonic finally said. “They expect me to act like nothing happened and just be a part of their family now. They want to be my real family, but they’re not! They never were and they never will be!”

Slowly, Tails extended his lone right hand and placed it on Sonic’s leg. “No one can ever replace Mom and Dad . . . but I don’t think you should judge Melaina so quickly.”

“You don’t understand,” Sonic grunted. “She wanted me to just forget everything that happened. If I didn’t go back for you, she would’ve wanted me to forget you too.”

“I don’t think that’s true,” Tails said softly.

Dr. Alred (Wolf. He's my doctor OC that I pull out to throw at characters who need medical attention so I don't have to create an entirely new character every time. He's in at least two or three separate unposted stories XD)

Prince Udando (FUNKY ALIEN BOY THAT SHADOW AND ECLIPSE MEET IN MY UNPOSTED BLACK PRINCE AU. He's snarky and disrespectful and done with the world and I love him so much XD)

Was lazy yesterday and didn't post, so it's a double today!

Day 17: Salty

Sonic from Immortals being salty to his Birth Mom, Melaina! Yeah, he's still not that big on the idea of her trying to replace his adopted family . . .

(Sonic has been redesigned since I drew this. Might consider redesigning Melaina a bit too.)
