I have finished my My Brother, My Brother and Me TV Show box set!! 6 episodes across 2 dvds WITH alternate versions that include the commentary tracks I get by being a MaxFun Member, as well as the bonus content for each episode from when it was available on VRV!!

I had a lot of fun making this, even with the struggles that getting the sync right on the commentary tracks and ensuring the files weren't too large for the dvd gave me!! Designing the menus and the box art was a fun challenge, as I wanted it to be as close to what I imagine an official release would be.

Ultimately I'm just really jazzed to have such a monumental show on physical media, especially as it's one that has been on two shuttered streaming sites. Id hate to have this show just straight up disappear from all digital market places, but we all know its a possibility in this day and age. IF they ever do an official DVD release I will gladly purchase it, but for now, I'm just happy to have this in my collection!!

I keep seeing people freaking out about HBO max cancelling cartoons on my dash. On the one hand I don’t have HBO max and most of the cartoons I see from them look like modern Cartoon Network crap. With the bean mouth; noodly arm style that’s become mandatory in American cartoons for some reason, being pretentious, overpraised and mediocre. It’s these trends of modern cartoons that I don’t like.

But on the other hand, in spite of all that these cartoons don’t deserve to go out like this. They don’t deserve to become lost media. Even if the show is shitty, or has something I don’t like it deserves to be preserved. Putting myself in their shoes and if this happened to cartoons I grew up with and like then yeah I’d be horrified and pissed as well. These shows should be preserved and have physical media.

I’m a little late to this news, but the official TMMN account posted a few days ago that there’s not going to be a livestream for the Cat!!して Super Party event on 2/26, which is a HUGE bummer. There’s some pretty annoyed fans in their recent quote-retweets.

I’m especially bummed out about this because they just released the synopsis for the live reading drama they’ll be performing, and it’s an all-new spinoff story.

because of one of his mental health episodes, larry was arrested, and sustained multiple police-related injuries. during an incident where he went cold off his medication, he succumbed to a relapse into an incredibly severe episode of mental illness. he proceeded to threaten multiple people with a kitchen knife midst a main street in los platos. police arrived shortly on the scene, and he received various injuries by both police and police pokémon alike when he didn't back down and started to advance on the police crew. because of his known diagnosis, he was eventually sent to a mental health ward rather than rotting in a jail cell. he still has scars around his left wrist and right shoulder from when two growlithe jumped him to get the knife out of his hand.

he has bad reactions to any sort of weed debris or smoke. it makes his psychotic symptoms flare up regardless of the heavy dose he's on, so if he catches even a whiff of it, he'll seek to leave whatever location he's in.
