Arsenic and old lace AU anyone?
Y/n Find out the daycare attendants who practically raised him have been killing people and burying them in their basement. No one would ever suspect sweet Sunny and gentle Moony of such crimes but sure enough. there's a dead man in the window seat.
it might be William Afton. He might be declaring he's "Getting better" but no one acknowledges this and keeps declaring "There is a dead man in the window seat!" Then discreetly slapping his hand back under, out of sight.
Another Arsenic and old lace au comic?

Dude, why do you think that all of us who don't like Eclipse are just because he killed Lunar?
I don't like Eclipse because he tried to kill Gregory using Sun body.
I don't like Eclipse because he manipulated Roxy mind (Regardless of how things ended after that, he intention was NOT good)
I don't like Eclipse because he created an assassin to free himself from him confinement and then just forgot about they when ran away until that assassin came back to bite him ass.
I don't like Eclipse because he used the Bloodmoon massacre as a weapon against Sun making him believe that he had killed those children.
I don't like Eclipse because he harassed Sun as if the guy couldn't get enough with his toxic brother (I'm not here to say who's worse)
I don't like Eclipse for worsening the situation Sun and Moon were in when they started the channel.
I don't like Eclipse for creating Lunar (That's right! I don't like Lunar!)
I don't like Eclipse for locking Sun and Moon in their heads and programming Moon jail so that she would suffer pain every time Lunar moved.
I don't like Eclipse for wanting to remake the world in its bad taste.
I don't like Eclipse because he is an egomaniac with a God complex.
I don't like Eclipse because in the universe where he won, turned Sun into a servant who he abuses physically, mentally and verbally just for his sadistic pleasure.
I don't like Eclipse being a headache for the family regardless of whether he is alive or dead.
I don't like Eclipse because he manipulated Sun into breaking Moon computer so the Kill Code could be released in Moon.
I don't like Eclipse because when he had the chance to make the first good decision after freeing himself from the computer where he was locked up, didn't do it, he went back to the unpleasant behavior and the obsessive plan of him with the star.
I don't like Eclipse because his moments of weakness are as forced as the plot convenience that he no longer wants to remake the world but simply waste the star power annoying Sun and Moon (Pathetic)
I don't like Eclipse for insulting Earth
I don't like Eclipse because even though he had the opportunity to properly warn Sun and Moon before his death about the dangers that were coming, he didn't do it, AND DON'T SAY THEY DIDN'T GIVE HIM A CHANCE, both Sun and Moon forced themselves to listen to him for a moment, but he told one that he would only talk to Moon and he literally told the other that they should kill Lunar without giving more details. He preferred to take the really valuable information to the grave!!!
I don't like Eclipse because even today his personality is based on being an arrogant, crazy cretin who only lives to insult like the unbearable school bully.
And finally I don't like Eclipse because of many of its adoring fans.
You see, there are plenty of reasons for someone to dislike Eclipse, and Lunar doesn't even have to be involved in the equation.

What if ideas for a story!
Sun didn't get possessed by Afton or drop the star
Eclipse wasn't blamed for Luna's death and exiled
Pluto didn't go all crazy on Moon
Lunar's family & village didn't die of lead poisoning
Solaris was proud of both of his sons
Luna died naturally
Star Holder was raised in Eclipse's temple.
We never became the Star Holder....
Hello!
Sorry for the delay <3
I must confess, I've been planning a story where we get adopted by Moon instead of going to Sun's temple, and some of your story ideas will be involved in that alternate timeline (I can't say which ones because that'd spoil the fun).
So I will choose one that DOESN'T coincide with this future story...
That being said:
What if we never became the Star Holder?
:)
Birdsong carried across the fields. A cool breeze rushed across the seemingly endless sea of red poppies, sending their sweet smell rushing over you. Smiling, you adjusted the sack on your shoulder and carried on along the long dirt path that cut through the countryside.
Spring was in full swing. As you passed, you saw your neighbors out hanging sheets to dry or working in their gardens. Planting seeds that would become fruits and vegetables to be harvested in the fall.
Once more, you checked the list your mother had given you. Even though you were nearly twenty-five now, you were still living with her. Mostly to look after her health. Your brother had remained at home, too, taking to tending the farm to support the household. Though your sister had kindled a flame and left your village to marry the woman she'd fallen for while away for school.
Life was peaceful. Warm.
But sometimes, you felt... as if you should be elsewhere. Doing something important. What that thing might be, you couldn't imagine.
Still, the feeling nagged at you. You had these strange dreams of another life. One where you served at the sides of the gods and experienced all kinds of marvelous things. Cosmic entities. Magics. Strange creatures. Demons, even.
So, you'd become an artist. Painting all the things that plagued your subconscious onto canvas. Your works were pretty popular, too! Especially your depictions of the gods. Once, you'd even been commissioned to paint a piece for a temple. Your mother was so proud!
Life was good.
Finally, you could see the bazaar in the distance. The outdoor market was pleasantly uncrowded this early in the day. Vendors milled about, arranging their displays and preparing for the likely busy afternoon ahead. Usually, you'd be right alongside them, paintings on display while you worked on your latest piece.
Today, however, was your brother's birthday. And you and your mother had conspired to surprise him for all his hard work.
As you were approaching a table with a large scale and bags of grain all around, you noticed a pair strolling through the bazaar. Tall, dressed in elegant silks.
Your mouth fell open as you recognized them.
The gods. Here?
Why?
"Excuse me," Sun approached one of the vendors. A baker. She immediately perked.
"Oh, hello, your graces! It's an honor. What may I do for you?" The baker bowed her head.
"There's usually a painter here, isn't there?" Sun's smile was nearly as bright as the star he was named for.
"Ah, yes," the baker nodded, your name rolling off her tongue, "but I don't think they're coming today, I heard- Oh. There you are!" She spotted you behind the two towering gods and waved energetically.
Sun and Moon turned immediately.
You felt an overwhelming urge to turn and flee. A quiet war started in your head over leaving or staying. But as the two approached, you found your legs unwilling to cooperate with you.
"Good afternoon," you bowed your head, "your graces."
"Afternoon? You're mistaken, it's barely after sunrise," Moon tilted his head. Sun chuckled, patting his dear friend on the shoulder.
"Oh, Moon," he shook his head, "they're just nervous. Right?" He looked back at you. You nodded, unconsciously fiddling with your tunic.
"How may I help you?" You fidgeted. "Uh, your grace."
"There's no need to be so tense! You aren't in trouble!" Sun's milky eyes shone in the morning light, "I recently visited a temple nearby and saw the most beautiful painting. The priest there tells me you were the one to make it!"
Oh.
Relief washed over you.
"It was so lovely," Sun sighed, "Moon and I thought you'd be the perfect person to paint something for us."
"Truly?" Your eyes widened, "it'd be an honor!" You couldn't help the smile on your face.
"Wonderful!" Sun clapped, "I'm sure you'll make a lovely portrait of the Star Holder. Ordina will look so lovely, don't you think, Moon?"
"Oh, yes," Moon nodded, "if you're the one to paint it, I think it will look incredible."
"You wish for me to paint the Star Holder?" You felt a little stunned. Something inside you stirred, just saying those words out loud. And hearing Sun say them... It made you feel uneasy.
You'd heard of Star Holder Ordina. The woman chosen to protect the star from those who would use it for wrong. Hand-chosen by the gods.
You couldn't imagine how her life must be.
"But of course!" Sun nodded eagerly.
Well. Who were you to pass up the opportunity to work for actual gods? It... felt right, in some ways. And wrong, in others.
But this time, it was your choice. And maybe that's what mattered.
"I'd be honored," you nodded.
"Wonderful!" Sun practically bounced with excitement. He was so... different from how you'd imagined him. Bouncy, happy, warm. For some reason, you'd always imagined him being more reserved and distant.
"Walk with us," Moon smiled shyly, "we'll sort the details." He gestured you forward. Smiling in turn, you followed the gods further into the marketplace.
Life was good.

The invitation envelope is sealed with blue wax, the outline of the Meriet royal seal carefully pressed into the the center. The invitation itself consists of a single letter that reads:
❝The kingdom of Brecaea cordially invites you to join them in celebrating the Festival of the Blue Moon. We humbly look forward to your presence in ushering in a new lunar season that is set to begin on at . We advise that you dress in light, airy clothing and have footwear that will not be damaged by any amount of water. We also advise that you arrive by sunset on the first day of the festivities in order to fully experience the welcoming ceremony.❞
Along the bottom of the letter, the words “Please dip in water and turn over.” is written in neat lettering along the bottom of the invitation card. Once done, the rest of the letter continues as follows:
❝An additional, private gathering will be held at Castle Luvalon throughout the entire event. Overnight accommodations will be provided to all guests with this invitation. We advise you keep it in a safe place, to bring it with you on your travels, and to present it to castle staff upon arrival. Your host, Queen Dakota Tetrarch of Meriburn❞

"You're going to come with? That's surprising; I thought you hated socializing and party stuff."
Jawyr laughed at the look his father gave him over his shoulder-- the older man rolling his eyes as he nodded his head outside the window, to where the gigantic crystal, Innaius floated in the air above the castle grounds.
Tumblr media
"Very funny. I just don't like socializing and party stuff when it concerns a gaggle of prying or stuffy nobility, and whatever other gossip mongers decide to swarm me the second I'm by myself. But...Lerato wants to visit Cassandra and Dakota with Joseph, and I'd rather not risk him running out of energy and collapsing while on an entirely different continent. So we'll be heading to Brecaea first, and leaving halfway through to go to Meriburn...granted no word comes that I'm needed back here. The others should be able to keep a handle on things in the meantime, though...and if not, we teleport back."
- - - - - -
Tumblr media
"Are you sure you and Rei should be going? With the way current events are right now, it'll be risky."
Tumblr media
"You're coming as well, Varius. Do you not feel like you'd be able to protect us, if it came to that?"
The Setian guard falls silent, expression a conflicted twist. Naturally, if something happened then he would protect his king-- it was as simple as that. Not that Fekik needed it (and Areix would be especially safe, as Fei would sooner see himself killed than allow anyone to lay a finger on his youngest), but...well, Varius wasn't quite sure. He couldn't exactly say that he had a bad feeling.
After a few moments, he finally shook his head and relented. If they were going, then he would simply resolve to keep a close eye on everything and everyone!

Tumblr media
"If you're bringing Harailt, then I'll be inviting Iki. No offense, but I'm really not looking to third-wheel you the whole party."
The young prince was seated comfortably on a couch, feet kicked up on the arm of it as he regarded his older brother; the king. Alkaid was telling him about some party they'd be attending in Brecaea...honestly, he hadn't really been paying attention to all the details. It had been a while since he'd been able to bring Iki to anything like this, so most of the time that his brother had been talking, he'd been busy thinking up everything that he wanted to have prepared for her.
They were already friendly with Brecaea, so it's not like there had to be a lot of planning toward how to socialize and gain favor with them. He could look into the specifics of the gathering a little later.
Tumblr media
"You don't have to say it like that; you would have invited her regardless of if Harailt came with us...just don't go too crazy on whatever you're plotting. You'll end up making yourself freak out if it can't all get done in time."

okay you know what fuck it not much people will be seeing this but I'm writing this for myself and that one fellow yttd and dca fan
First thing, I'm not sure if characters should be human versions or just themselves. And I don't know how to come up with lore. Also, this is more of a "who would take who's place" rather than lore, sorry 😭
So, Y/n is the main character, they randomly get kidnapped when they go to their house after work, and here I am having two different scenarios: Y/n already knew Sun and Moon and are close friends with them OR they're just completely strangers that slowly become friends as the game goes. (Btw I absolutely love the sun and moon floor master idea, I'm just too brain dead to think anything about it) Oh and, Sun Moon and Eclipse are siblings in this, cause I'm a sucker for siblings angst and, well, with how things are happening to siblings in YTTD. . .
Freddy would somehow take Keiji's role, being the father figure to the main character. And his adopted son, Gregory, is also there. Rozy definitely takes Reko's role, And Chica takes Nao's(instead of painting, she likes to cook!) Monty take's Q-taros role, though he would be really mean and aggressive in the beginning. Maybe Cassie is there too, I just dunno how to traumatize her like Kanna
I have 0 idea on what to do with the whole Sou and Shin thing, though I can definitely tell you that Eclipse is taking Midori's role (or joemamapp69;)) unsettling eyes, a madman, crazy bitch, all that stuff. I was thinking he would be like "Oh my dear brothers! wouldn't you like to sign this-" "No. That's very sus. Stop asking" So, them refusing to sign the contract thing from the very beginning would cause some problems in the latest chapter, like with Sara.
This is where tsams gang comes, Kill code takes Gashu's role, bad father. Bloodmoon Rio Ranger's, someone who's only filler with negative emotions, and Lunar with Safalin (though I would like to think that he wouldn't be all nice and innocent, and would show the "not so nice" side more than Safalin)
Right, Asunaro would be replaced with something that has to do with Afton, and yeah, Meister is being replaced with Afton, and the smiley bitch is now Vanny.
Try to point a gun to me I'm absolutely head empty on what to do with dolls.
I know this isn't much but eueuheuegh I tried.

Hey, so you probably already made posts about this and I just don't remember, but what's Blood Moon like in your actor AU? Their personality, their relationships with the others, what they think of their role, etc?
I actually haven't talked about it before other then very briefly, but I'd love to share! :D
They still share a body but the two personality thing is highly played up. So their personalities are similar to the ones shown in the show, but they don't have the blood lust and are a bit tamer on the murder happy aspect. The one with the voice closer to Monty is still impulsive and emotionally charged but not as unhinged, he's just as smart as his brother- he's just more emotional. Meanwhile the rhyming one is more quiet but not sadistic like his character. Though he does still speak in rhyme; That's just something he does for fun.
They really enjoy the role because it gives them the chance to act like crazy unhinged bastards without being told to settle the fuck down. It's basically being given a "Go fucking crazy little man" pass and they are happy to take it.
They slot nicely into the middle child role when it comes to Eclipse and Lunar. Eclipse is the oldest, they're the mild children, and Lunar is the youngest.
As for relationships...
Eclipse: They actually get along really well with Eclipse, though in that combative gremlin brother way. They wrestle a lot. It made filming the fight scene easier because they roughhouse all the time! The noises that played when Moon was in the room during the fight were the actual noises from them roughhousing with some added sound effects. Of course they'd never actually hurt him, but it was fun fucking with him. They're a bit of the rival sibling type, which made the role that much more fun to play! ^^
Lunar: Blood Moon has a good relationship with their little brother as well, though they do tease him... a lot XD. They just find it so cute to see his grumpy little poutting face! They have an absurd amount of nicknames for him, though the two of them use different types. The wilder one uses more simple and slightly cruder nicknames that probably reference inside jokes and or embarrassing events. Lunar got a paint bucket stuck on his head because he ran into the latter while playing on the switch so sometimes he calls him 'bucket head' and is more then eager to explain why if asked. Meanwhile the rhyming one uses more soft albeit... weird nicknames. Like giving him a nickname based on some obscure type of grass. They're also just as protective of him as Eclipse is, though are more likely to act before and think later.
Sun and Moon don't know Bloody well, as they only recently met when he got included in the show. They're a bit eccentric but gradually they've started to get used to them and their weird quirks. They get along a bit better with Moon then they do Sun, just because of shared interests and because they share that familiar bastard energy, but they do make an effort to get to know Sun too.
Bonus: Neither of their brothers are safe from tickles, though the two personalities have slight preferences over who they really like tickling. The more feral one likes to tickle Eclipse, because he doesn't have to be gentle and can just wreck his shit while cackling maniacally. Seeing Eclipse embarrassed afterwards is always insanely rewarding. The rhyming one likes to tickle Lunar because of how reactive and wiggly he is. He gets tired out far quicker then Eclipse, but that's fine- it's worth it to see his reactions to both the tickles and being teased mercilessly. They like to team up with Eclipse to tickle Lunar into a hysterical puddle.
There are some aspects of their role they don't like, though. The more feral one gets tired of screaming nonstop often, as most people would. The rhyming one doesn't appreciate the screaming much either, considering it's probably just as loud if not louder to the person sharing the body with him. The rhyming one sometimes has issues with keeping his input equal with his brother as in reality he's not as talkative, nor as sadistic so getting into that "murdery fun" mindset can be a bit challenging depending on his mood.
And.. they also don't really like scaring or hurting their siblings. :( Insulting Lunar feels almost illegal, and seeing Eclipse act so shitty also feels weird. Sometimes the rhymer has to remind the feral one that it's a show so that he doesn't throw Eclipse when he comes into range for being a dick to their little sibling. Lunar finds it funny that both of his siblings get so upset from seeing him act distraught that they end up dragging him into the blanket pit after filming. (It was a pile before, but Bloody made it a pit)

Okay, so having looked through some old SAMS videos, and those on the other channels (as one does) I have found one piece of justification for why Freddy would have left Moon alone with Sun even after finding out how dangerous Eclipse is. On the April 21 video for his channel ("Glamrock Freddy and Circus Baby SAVE Sun & Moon in VRCHAT"), there was a point where Sun said, and then demonstrated, that the two of them basically have to be together 24/7 lest he, as Freddy put it, "go crazy" and "regresses back to his pure evil self." So I can see how Freddy might have justified it to himself that it is better for Moon to still be around Sun, even with all the danger he presented with Eclipse still coming out randomly, lest Moon go on a killing spree or something.
However, that excuse definitely broke down a bit when it was very clear that even with Sun's presence, Moon was still losing his sanity a little (likely due to my theory about Blood Moon influencing him without Moon detecting their presence), in addition to the fact that Sun was able to go out and leave Moon alone multiple times with nothing bad happening.
And added to the fact that Lunar did later introduce himself to Freddy (if briefly, and in a way that, to be fair, could have been brushed off as Moon still recovering from Eclipse messing with his wires), and how his presence was both fixing that issue for Moon and being a giant warning flag for Eclipse's activities at the time, it means the two of them probably should have been separated, if not for Moon's safety then at least out of the hope that distancing Moon and Sun also would have made it harder for Eclipse to use Lunar as a minion for his evil schemes. Which it honestly probably wouldn't have, since Eclipse could still talk to Lunar over distances and the only thing he really needed from him was to keep Moon distracted, but it isn't like anyone else knew that at the time.
That being said--even if he thought it was a bad idea to physically separate the two brothers due to that video, he--or any of the others--still should have been checking up on them, at least. And yeah, Monty was doing that, but that seemed to be more of his own volition rather than at anyone else's behest.
I mean. I don't think Sun or Moon would have agreed to the separation, and only would have thought of the pros and cons to the idea in hindsight... but that's not really the point I'm trying to make here.
...Also, as always, I am excluding Gregory from any fault or blame because he is a literal child who both would have been in a lot more danger due to being made of fragile flesh and bones and also cannot drive yet and would have had to depend on others taking him over there anyways. Also Roxanne, then and now, because she wasn't in her right mind and it makes a lot of sense why she would want to stay away from Sun at the moment, even though what happened to her wasn't his fault and she doesn't seem to blame him for it. It still makes sense that seeing him might bring back some trauma for her, since he and Eclipse share the same face--especially because Eclipse wasn't glowing at the time.

My Mister. 나의 아저씨. 8.3/10
I would recommend this drama to my friends. I would rewatch this drama.
Even though the intro has a lot of snow, it makes the show seem so warm. I could tell I was going to love this show within the first few minutes.
Jung Jae Sung from Big Mouth and Prison Playbook is always a welcome face despite playing not great guys lmao. Nice to see Kim Min Seok from Start Up. Omg Kim Young Min from CLOY being trash. Omg Ryu Abel, what's up. She's still so pretty. Interesting for Now We Are Breaking Up's Jang Ki Yong to be this kinda character.
How does Ji An know Ki Beom? He's loyal too.
Life's homework of having someone to meet on New Year's and Lunar New Year's: noted. This young Ji An actress really be looking like young IU. Omg your company reading your texts through CCTV. Unheard of. Ji An monitoring Dong Hoon's phone calls are like how people joke about the FBI monitoring our online activity.
Gi Hoon pisses me off. He gets angry, makes baseless accusations, and does wrong things. It's interesting how he portrays real family so well though in my opinion. Both the other brothers are a bit unlikable (even though ultimately we love them). They're very immature. It's hard to have family that's family but have characteristics so unlike yours.
I cried at grandma's death. She is my favorite character. Grandma is a moon girl like me. Grandma is also a food girl like me.
All the things IU does with Ki Beom are so sly, slick, and kinda cool. She's malicious and intelligent. The things Ji An overhears through Dong Hoon's phone, it's probably like watching a kdrama unfold.
It's interesting how differently the three brothers think and yet find a common love for each other. Their thoughts on the afterlife are different and yet it all makes sense. What a fresh concept Dong Hoon said about reality being hell and he must've done something wrong in the past to end up here. I've though of reality as hell and I've thought of my current life being based on previous life somehow (not that I believe that) but it's fresh to really think that your current life is the afterlife. It's like the same things but with a slightly different perspective.
One of the best things is Ji An starting to care for Dong Hoon as she listens to his phone. How she starts physically chasing after his location, how she kinda relies on listening to the phone. I love Lee Sun Kyun in this kinda role. Very likable. Grandma is the MVP. Since she can't speak, I wonder what she's thinking about. Albeit great acting in showing me how she feels. I smile when Yoo ra smiles. It's genuinely happy. I love how the men understood her after her failure speech and loved her. It's beautiful because even though everyone sees Dong Hoon as a non-talking guy, he's very often vulnerable (esp, with Ji An), and I love that. I love Ji An and Dong Hoon eating and drinking in silence. Amazing how all of Dong Hoon's friends and bros ran to beat up who beat him up. What kinda crew. I'm not friends with enough loyal crazies to do that for me. It's beautiful how much of a crew all the friends are. So loyal and having each other's backs. I'm so glad they take care of Ji An too, especially at the funeral. Ji An's first thank you was so memorable to me. Kinda meek but sincere. She hasn't said a thank you this whole time. I really like the bag that the slipper gift comes in.
It's so tragic to see the whole Ji An discovering that her grandma can get free care thing. Because it's true. Without guidance, how do we know? And people who have money or parents who understand things don't get it.
Wow when Ji An started running to the Minette to confront Yoon Hee, I was like woah woah she's on the move she's on the move. Whenever Ji An runs I'm like yess!! feelings!! Her running when she overhears Dong Hoon asking for her and calling her pretty. I'm with it.
Memorable Quotes: "나를 아는게 슬퍼." "술..프다." "현실이 지옥이야." "말도 없는 놈 새끼." "파이팅." "억지로 산다." "아무것도 아니다. 아무것도 아니야." "내 속에 있는 걸 밖에서 본다." "아무도 모르면, 아무 일도 아니야."

Pearl was not expecting her first experiment to be this much of a success. It’s really quite exhilarating, to be pulled through time and wake up being stared at by strange versions of your friends, but that’s no excuse to be rude, so.
“Oh, hello! Scar, Doc, how are you doing today?”
Scar and Doc were not expecting to find a strange moth lady passed out on the ground outside of their (borrowed, confiscated, it was all semantics) time machine, much less were they expecting her to wake up and brighten at the sight of Doc’s trident to her throat, but, well, the risks they assume with their line of work force them to take it in stride.
“Honestly, I didn’t expect it to work that well, you guys look—“
“How do you know our names?” Doc cuts in, pressing his trident deeper against her throat.
She continues to not meet his eyes, but she looks up from the device she’s fiddling with. If Scar didn’t know better, he’d say it was a cassette player, one of the cheap ones, and clearly it was battered to all hell. Her eyes drift to Scar’s hat. She smirks, her eyes lighting up like she knows something they don’t. “Nice hat.”
“Why, thank you,” Scar replies, despite himself, “now, miss…?”
“Pearl,” she says, “Pearlescent, in full, Pearlescent Moon if you want to bring weird human-isms into it, though that’s only a translation. My real name is—“
“Thank you, Miss… Pearl,” Scar interrupts. “Translation?”
Pearl clicks her tongue, still frustratingly calm with the clearly charged trident aimed right for her. “Yep,” she pops the p, “alien, and all that. Not from the moon, technically, that honor would go to my dear brother, but alien all the same.”
“Makes sense,” Scar says. “Well, we’ll have to keep you for a while, Miss Pearl, just as a precaution, and—and what is that thing you’re playing with over there?”
“Cassette! Grian finally managed to score me a lunar gem on a trip home for long distance comms. He warned me it’d be a little awkward without proper knowledge of the world, but I didn’t think it’d be this crazy. Speaking of, can you tell me where I am…?”
Scar blinks. “A lunar gem—wait, Grian?”
Pearl gives him an odd look. “You don’t know him? I must have jumped quite a bit, then, interesting. I didn’t think this thing had enough juice to take me all the way back.”
“Alternate dimension, maybe,” Doc suggests, frowning. “Grian’s never mentioned having a sister, much less being an alien.”
Scar doesn’t respond immediately, but Pearl does. “Oh, no, definitely not an alternate dimension. This thing definitely isn’t powerful enough to carry me across the multiverse, Doc. And—and you do know him…?”
They ignore her. She stops fiddling with the cassette player in her hands and snaps her fingers, realizing something. “Oh! Area 77! That’s you guys, right?”
Scar sighs. “Doc, our day just got a whole lot more complicated, didn’t it?”

Diabolik Lovers DARK FATE ー Laito Maniac [Prologue]
Tumblr media
ー The scene starts in the living room of the Tsukinami Manor
Carla: ーー I doubt I need to remind you, but we are keeping an eye on you two at all times.
If you try anything funny, or fail to carry out the plan on time.
My Familiars will have no mercy ripping both you and that woman apart as per my command.
Laito: Yeah, yeah, you don’t need to tell me a million times.
I thought you said yourself that I’m not an idiot, remember?
Carla: That is exactly why.
Laito: Eh?
Carla: Fools do not even think. However, you are different.
In other words, I realize that there is always the possibility that you will change your mind.
Laito: ...Hmー Well, thank you for the compliment. Although I think you might just be giving me a bit too much credit.
ーー Shall we get going, Bitch-chan?
Yui: Yeah...
( Is this really the best decision...? )
*TIMESKIP*
Shin: Nii-san, why didn’t you have him leave the woman behind with us?
Didn’t we need her as a hostage?
Carla: He is serious.
Shin: ...Aren’t you putting a little too much faith in him?
Carla: Think about what might happen after he kills Karlheinz...
Shin: ...
Carla: That woman might be our way to put a stop to it then. (1)
Shin: I see...
Carla: Either way, the Familiars are keeping a watch on them.
If an unforeseen situation arises, we can easily deal with it.
Shin: I trust you. However, I’ll head to the Demon World as well, just in case.
You should return to Banmaden, okay?
Carla: Yes, very well.
Shin: Well then, I’ll move with haste. I’ll lend you a few Familiars just in case something happens.
Carla: ...
ー The scene shifts to the forest in the Demon World
Laito: I didn’t think we’d find ourselves coming here, out of all places...
Yui: Laito-kun, where are we...?
Laito: It’s Richter’s castle.
Yui: Richter...He’s you guys’ uncle, right?
( If I recall correctly, he’s Karlheinz-san’s younger brother... )
Why would Carla and Shin tell us to come here...?
Laito: I assume that he’s working with the two of them.
He absolutely loathes that man after all.
Yui: Right...
Laito: My family is a mess, don’t you think? Fufufu.
Well, no point in standing here talking forever. I’m not too thrilled about this, but I guess we should head inside?
ー They enter the manor
Richter: ーー Welcome to my castle.
Laito: Thank you for having us, Uncle.
Yui: Pardon the intrusion...
Richter: I heard you will be staying for a while. You haven’t been in the Demon World for quite some time, haven’t you? Take it easy.
Laito: Heeh. You’re being rather kind.
Richter: I’m generous towards those who share the same objective as me.
Yui: ...
( Objective...Does that mean he’s out to kill Karlheinz-san as well...? )
Laito: Oh geez~ You gave me goosebumps just now. Please don’t get the wrong idea.
I’ll kill him for my sake, you know? Not for yours, or for that woman’s.
Richter: Do not refer to your own mother as ‘that woman’!
Laito: Fufufu, my ‘mother’, huh? I’m not quite sure when she ever acted as one though.
Yui: L-Laito-kun!
Laito: Ah, sorry, sorry! I can’t help myself in front of this guy, you see?
Richter: I’ve heard enough. Get to your room.
Laito: Good idea. That’d probably be best for both of us...
Let’s go, Bitch-chan.
Yui: Yeah...
Laito: ーー Aah, there’s one thing I forgot to ask.
Richter: ...What?
Laito: Are you sure you don’t want to do it yourself?
Richter: Do what?
Laito: You hate him, don’t you?
Richter: ...One cannot kill a fellow Vampire out of hatred. You know so as well, don’t you?
Laito: I see. You’re scared, huh?
Richter: ...!!
Laito: Sorry, sorry~ Slip of the tongue, you see?
Yui: ( Haah... Will things be okay like this...? )
ー The scene shifts to the bedroom
Yui: ...Laito-kun. Richter-san is letting us stay at his house, so you shouldn’t provoke him like that.
Laito: Haah, I’m sorry, okay? I just end up recalling memories I’d rather forget when I see him...
Yui: ( ...Laito-kun... )
However, I’m worried the two of you will get into a fight.
Laito: You’re right. I should have just punched him across the face instead of beating around the bush.
Yui: Y-You can’t...!
Laito: Ahー ...My bad. I honestly just got irritated...
I wonder if it’s because of the lunar eclipse? That woman’s face keeps on flickering through my mind...
Yui: I see...
ー She embraces him
Laito: Bitch-chan...?
Yui: ( I wrapped my arms around him without thinking... )
I was hoping I could soothe your anger even just a little.
Laito: ...If anything, it has triggered a little something inside of me...Nfu~
Yui: ...!?
*Thud*

On certain CGs, little black roses will appear on the screen. If you click on them, you get an extra line of dialogue.
“You really are a ‘Bitch-chan’, pulling me into a hug like that.”
“Say...You don’t mind, do you? Of course you don’t. I ‘love’ you after all...”
Laito: Woah there, you’re not getting away~
*Rustle*
Yui: Kyah!
Laito: You’re the one who enticed me, so you can’t back out now.
Yui: B-But...Right now is...
Laito: Nfu~ Is that a no? But just look at how much I love you...
Yui: ...!!
Laito: I want your blood. Right now...Please...?
*Rustle rustle*
Tumblr media
Yui: Laito-kun, sto...
Laito: Bitch-chan...I love you...
Yui: ( This ‘I love you’ is different...He’s only saying it to silence me. )
( Just when I thought we were finally on the same page. )
( I don’t want him to take out his frustrations on me like this... )
*Rustle rustle*
Yui: Stopーー
Laito: Don’t・want・to!
*Rustle rustle*
Yui: ...! I’m serious, cut it out!
*THUD*
Laito: Wawah...!!
Yui: Ah...!!
( Oh no...I pushed him a little too hard by accident... )
I-I’m sorry, I acted on instinct...
Laito: ...
Yui: A-Are you alright?
Laito: Haah...I’m the one who should apologize.
It’d be fine if you were just pretending to dislike it as part of the fetish, but you were serious just now, weren’t you?
Yui: I...I truly am sorry...
Laito: Don’t sweat it. More importantly, why did you oppose me that strongly?
You have a reason, don’t you?
Yui: Well...
Laito: Tell me.
Yui: ...To me, it appears as if you’ve become desperate.
Laito: Desperate...? In regard to what?
Yui: Well...Yourself...
Laito: I see...
I see...That’s how it comes across, huh? Is that why you refused me?
Yui: I don’t want you to try and cover up a serious matter...By acting like your usual self.
Laito: I’m not covering anything up. Besides, what do you mean with ‘a serious matter’?
Yui: T-The thing about Karlheinz-san. Are you actually...going to kill him?
Laito: Good grief, you’re saying that now as well?
While it may come across as overly desperate because I decided it on the spot.
However, I’m calm. I will kill him because that’s what I want to do.
Yui: Uu...
Laito: There’s nothing desperate about it.
Yui: You’re lying...
Laito: ...I’m not.
Yui: I can tell...That you’re afraid of losing me...
That’s why you’re willingly going to face Karlheinz-san...
You’re hoping that...You’ll lose your life in the process, don’t you?
Because that’d be easier on you...
Because it’d liberate you from your suffering...
Laito: ...
Yui: That’s exactly why I’m saying you’ve become desperate...!
Don’t run away, Laito-kun...!
Laito: Haah...I’ve lost my touch.
Yui: ...
Laito: I didn’t think you’d ever be able to read me so well...
Yui: Laito-kun...
Laito: Bitch-chan, you see...I just want everything to end.
I don’t want to lose another person I hold dear.
Yui: ...Uu...
Laito: Of course, I won’t deny that the love I felt for that woman was nothing but lies and fables, that didn’t get rid of the sense of loss I felt when she passed.
I’m terrified...of experiencing that same feeling again.
The reality that one day you will pass and leave me behind by myself...It scares me.
Yui: Is that why you say you want to die...?
Laito: Exactly. I’m weak. Because I know that,
I’ve always lived in denial of love, never letting myself grow attached to anything or anyone.
...I figured it’d be easier on me...If I never had loved ones to begin with. I wouldn’t have found myself in this current situation either.
However, then you were thrown at me.
I’m stuck in your thorns... (2)
Yui: ...Laito-kun...
Laito: I wonder if I should just kill you instead...?
By doing so...I might be able to escape this fear...?
Aah, but when I think about what will happen to me by doing so, I feel like I’m about to go crazy.
I don’t want to lose you...Yet I’m contemplating killing you myself...
I realize it’s contradicting, but that’s just how much I feel driven up a wall.
Of course, I realize you might not understand as the one who would leave me behind...
ー He embraces her
*Rustle*
Yui: ...What should I do?
Laito: You don’t need to do anything. This is my issue, remember?
Everything will be resolved once I’m gone. If I die...No, I want to die.
Yui: Don’t say that...
Besides, I don’t want you to die. What will happen to me...? I’ll be left behind as well, you know...?
Laito: ...
Yui: ( Why won’t he answer my question...? )
You’re being selfish...
Laito: Yeah, you’re right.
Yui: ...I would never leave you though...
Laito: Fufu...
Yui: Why do you laugh?
Laito: I mean, that’s...Right.
ーー You liar...
Yui: Uu...
Laito: Fufufu...
Yui: ( Why would he say that...? )
ーー TO BE CONTINUED ーー
Translation notes
(1) Carla says that Yui might become a ‘checkmate’. I’m not 100% certain on what is meant with this line, but perhaps Carla knows that Laito could inherit Karlheinz’ powers upon killing him and plans to use Yui as a back-up plan then.
(2) I found this line to be quite tricky. Literally he says that he can no longer escape the ‘thorn’ (いばら) being Yui/the MC.

I glanced around, sighing, not knowing what to expect and seeing a different scenario from the one that I was used to seeing every day. There was a lot of people in the street, wandering through street markets, trying to get the best deal.
"This doesn't seem so bad." My boyfriend rubbed his hands together.
"It's not the town, it's the plan."  Lydia rolled her eyes as I chuckled. "Stiles. This could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with. You're aware of that, right?"
"I'm aware it's not our best." His voice lowered.
"We are going to die." The three of us started walking.
"Are you saying that as a Banshee or you're just being pessimistic?"
"I'm saying it as a person who doesn't wanna die."
"Okay." Stiles's tiny gesture made my chest pound like crazy. He had grabbed my hand, scared I would get lost as there were many people. "Would you just mind restricting any talk of death to actual Banshee predictions?"
"This plan is stupid and we're going to die," Lydia said in a cheerful tone, attempting to make the hazel-eyed boy happy.
"Oh, thank you." He smirked.
It was night when we arrived at a building. The door was being watched by two men. They both smiled at us, especially eyeing Lydia and me, which made us feel a little bit uncomfortable.
"Estamos aquí para la fiesta." I murmured to them, letting them know that we were there for the party taking place inside the building.
One of them smirked, shaking their head as if to let us know that we weren't invited to go inside. I shifted my gaze to Stiles, who was searching for something inside one of the pockets of his trousers. As soon as he found what he wanted, he lifted it. A black card. And even though it seemed like just an item without much meaning, one of the men standing in front of us stopped smiling.
Stiles noticed that there was a camera just above them, lifting the card so whoever was behind it could see the object. Automatically, the door opened and the men had nothing more to do than let us go inside.
When the door closed behind us, we sighed, worried about what we could find. There was a small corridor, walls were of an intense red that was making my headache. And it seemed like the door in front of us and the walls embracing us shook.
As Stiles opened the door, we were hit with loud music, colourful lights and the smell of alcohol and sweat. Bodies ground against each other, following the compass of the music.
Stiles clutched my hand harder as his other hand rested on Lydia's arm. He didn't want us to get lost in the crowd. We ended up in front of the bar, where three drinks were placed in front of us even though we haven't ordered anything. I furrowed my eyebrows as Stiles sought money inside his pocket.
I felt a hand gripping my shoulder, and jerking around I was met with a man. "No. On the house." He offered us an insincere smile. "Most American teenagers don't cross the border to refuse a drink."
"We didn't come to drink." Lydia clarified, dropping what seemed like a bullet with a skull on it inside the drink.
Of course, we were taken out of the party, to the insides of the building where everything was dark and where now, a woman stood before us. "Severo hates this music. Me? I've always loved the music of youth." We were sitting in front of her, while there were men all around the room, keeping an eye on us. "This kind, especially. It has a savage energy."
"We're here for Derek Hale." I was the first one to speak aloud.
"Is that so?"
"We know you have him. We've heard you can be bought." Lydia was the one continuing while Stiles placed money on top of the table with a loud thump.
"It's 50,000 for Derek."
"Now, where does a teenage boy get money like this? Japanese mafia?" A woman behind us loaded her gun, making Lydia and I jump in our seats as a man did the same next to Stiles. "Not smart to come alone."
"What makes you think we came alone?" The boy next to me smirked, and I couldn't help but take the grin out of my face. Malia, Kira and Scott had come with us.
"You brought a wolf into my home?" She got up from her chair.
It was my turn to smirk. "No, of course not. How could we do that?" She seemed to relax, but only for a couple of seconds due to my following words. "We brought an Alpha."
"My friends..." She sighed as she turned around. "I don't think you're aware of your poor timing. Do you know what the dark moon is?"
"The part of the lunar phase when the moon is least visible in the sky," Lydia said in a robotic tone.
"But do you know its meaning?"
"Some people say it's a time of reflection. Or grief." I intervened.
She glanced at me. "Grief and loss, mija. I wonder why, when you and your friends have suffered so much loss, you would risk it again for someone like Derek Hale."
"'Cause, we don't like to lose."
One of the men next to Araya stopped us from continuing talking as he started speaking to someone on the other line of the walkie talkie. I couldn't help but have a tiny smile on my face when I heard the voice of my brother through it. "Stiles. Take 10 off the table."
As the button-nose boy did what my brother had asked for, I decided to speak up. "Maybe you should just take the deal." Lydia nodded her head, smiling at the woman in a sickeningly way.
"While I'm keen to follow the warning of a Banshee," She glanced at me. "And of course, the one of a Siren. I'm going to have to decline."
"Aaaa... Come on. Just give us Derek. You don't want him anyway. Haven't you noticed what a downer he is? No sense of humour, poor conversationalist." I tried to maintain a serious expression as Stiles's continued speaking. "Just come on, take the money."
Araya grabbed the walkie talkie once again. "Severo? Show them how the Calaveras negotiate." When Araya left the room, the three of us were manhandled by the men. And I wasn't a Banshee, but even I could feel that Scott, Kira and Malia were in great danger right now.
Thinking back, we ended up here because Scott had gone to Derek's lot, just to find that he wasn't there. He had found bullets, and sending a picture to Deaton, he had learnt that it was the mark of a family of hunters based out of Mexico. The Calaveras.
Lydia said that he wasn't sure he was dead, but she also wasn't sure if he was alive, which was perturbing.
"He is awake!" Kira informed us as Stiles and I got closer to my brother, who was lying down on the floor of a dirty and abandoned bathroom, where we have been taken. "Guys, he's awake."
"Scott, you okay?"
"Yeah." He tried to get up. "They don't have him. They don't have Derek."
"We know." I sighed, offering him a smile that he sent back, trying to let me know that he was alright. "But right now, they've got Lydia."
"Lydia? What do they want with Lydia?" He asked rapidly.
"We always have the same question and it is always answered the same way," I spoke as everyone glanced at me. "The power of a Banshee."
My brother rapidly got up from the floor, trying to open the door with his bare hands, which wasn't working.
"We already looked for a way out. I think a lot of people have." I furrowed my eyebrows as Kira talked, not sure of what she meant until I saw the marks on the walls. Marks of people who desperately tried to escape, scratching the walls with all of their strength.
Malia was leaning against a column. "I say when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it."
"What about Lydia?" Kira asked, and I sighed, knowing Malia's next words.
"What about her?"
"We're not leaving without her."
"Why not?"
Stiles shook his head, getting closer to her. "Because we don't leave without people. Remember, we talked about this? Rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends."
"Is that what you would do as a coyote, leave her for dead?"
"If she was weak and injured, yeah. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her. Then I'd leave."
"Mmm. Believe it or not, that's progress." I crossed my arms over my chest. "Stiles and I've been trying to explain everything to her."
"All right, guys, we're not dead yet." My brother interrupted. "And that means Araya wants something."
Kira glanced at the dark-haired boy standing by her side. "But if the Calaveras don't know where Derek is, that means they didn't take him from the loft. Right?"
"Maybe he left on his own." Stiles completed.
Scott glanced at the floor. "Maybe someone else got to him."
We couldn't continue with our theories as the door abruptly opened, showing three men that quickly walked to us. However, we were soon met with darkness.
When I opened my eyes, my head was aching and everything around me seemed to move in circles. My throat was dry as if I haven't drink anything in days. I gradually noticed that I was tied to a chair and that my brother was tied to another one, right next to me.
The door of the room where we were now opened, showing Araya with another man and Lydia. "Oh, God," Lydia murmured as she saw us.
"Let her go. Look... you've got me. Just let the others go." My brother begged as Araya smirked. Her gaze moved to me. My brother followed her gaze, and it seemed like he had noticed from the first time that they had taken me too. "Why did you bring her?"
Lydia was chained to another chair as Kira came inside the room, also chained while a man grabbed her. What was going on? "So, let me explain what's about to happen." The man grabbing Kira spoke. "This one, the fox, has an immunity to electricity. So she's going to turn the dial on the Alpha. If she doesn't, I turn the dial on the Banshee and the Siren."
"No. I'm not doing this." Kira tried to resist.
"I see. Are you sure? One of your friends has the power to heal. The other? Not so much." Severo smirked. "And the other one might end up dying." Who?
"What are you doing?" Scott glanced at the old woman. "Is this a game to you?"
"This is a test, lobito. Let's see if you pass. We're going to ask some questions. You answer them, nobody gets hurt." She walked around us, but I had to close my eyes and lean my head down as everything continued moving around me. "You don't answer, we turn on the dial."
When I looked up again, my brother was looking at the fox girl. "Do what they say. Okay. Whatever they want. I can take it."
"So... We don't know where Derek is. We want to find him as well. You know who took him."
"What?" My brother asked her. "How would I know that?"
"That doesn't sound like an answer to me."
"We don't know." Lydia intervened. "Why do you think we came here?"
"Kira, turn the dial." The woman ordered, but Kira shook her head. "Should we turn the dial on Lydia instead?"
My brother quickly spoke up. "No, no! Do it, Kira. Do it."
"Let's start at one." As soon as she said that, my brother grunted, his hands gripping the chair he was sitting on, trying not to scream in pain. "Tell me! Who actually has Derek? Who had a reason, a vendetta particular to the Hales?"
My brother continued panting. "I said I don't know."
"Oh, you don't know because you haven't figured it out yet. So think! Who could've taken him?" They turned the pain even stronger. "Who had the power? The power of a shapeshifter?"
"I-I don't know."
"Oh! Someone who could have turned without you knowing. Turned, but not by a bite!"
"I don't know!" He screamed.
"Y-you.." My voice was a mere whisper, but swallowing I was able to scream. "You are going to kill him!" There were tears in my eyes. "You are going to kill him! Stop!"
Araya laughed, shaking her head. "No, mi amor." She smirked. "You will die first." I furrowed my eyebrows, feeling the temperature in the room dropping. I was cold. "Something told me lobito right here was going to be hard to peel." Her gaze shifted to my brother. "Your beautiful sister has poison running through her blood." My brother quickly glanced at me. "The longer it stays in her system, the more difficult to take it out. She can end up having seizures." I closed my eyes for a couple of seconds, feeling dizzier than before. "Say the name, Scott."
"Kate." What? Kate Argent?
"Okay," I heard Araya's voice. "Stop the machine." Severo did as he was told as another two men walked to Scott and Lydia, freeing them. My brother quickly walked to me, extending his hands to touch me. However, my body started shaking and I couldn't make it stop. "Severo bring the shot."
The door of the room opened again, this time two men were grabbing Stiles and Malia. Stiles's eyes widened as he saw me shaking while being tied to a chair. Before he could step forward, the man grabbing him stopped his movements.
"Don't dare any of you to touch her now." Araya's strong voice resonated through the room. Severo walked to me, stabbing the side of my neck with the syringe. I could feel the liquid running down my blood. Severo unleashed me, lying me down on the freezing ground as my body continued shaking.
"W-What did you do to her?? You old troll." I wanted to smirk at Stiles's use of vocabulary, but I was too busy being scared of the constant shaking of my body.
"She will be alright," Araya replied. "She has more water in her body than a human. The liquid we injected plus the water will do a quick job in removing the poison."
"N-nice." I tried to sound sarcastic.
"Fever might be a side effect of the poison, but you will be alright."
Tumblr media
I watched as my brother talked to Araya while I was leaning against Roscoe with the others. Stiles was constantly asking me if I was alright. I felt a little weak, but my temperature was back to normal.
Scott finally walked to us. "So what now?" My boyfriend asked.
He shrugged. "She thinks she knows where we can find Derek."
"She gonna tell us where?" Malia asked while she leaned her head against my shoulder. My hand went up to play with her hair.
"Uh, actually, she's giving us a guide."
Stiles's face transformed into confusion, but it went away as soon as a big motorbike stopped in front of us. "You know her?" Stiles asked my brother.
As soon as the person took their helmet off, we saw a beautiful black woman whose neck seemed to be scarred. "Braeden."
"Who's Braeden?"
"She's a mercenary," Lydia added.
"Right now, I'm the only one who's gonna take you to la iglesia."
"The Church?" I questioned. "What's The Church?"
"It's not a place you'll find God," I smirked, liking her way of talking.
Getting inside the jeep, we followed her as she took us to la iglesia.
There was a comfortable silence inside Roscoe. The three girls were sitting behind as I sat on the front between my boyfriend and my brother. "Okay, I'll ask." Malia was the one interrupting the silence. "Who's Kate Argent?"
Kira put her hand up. "Uh, I'd like to know, too."
"Well, we were at her funeral. So, I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground." I chuckled, nodding my head that was resting on Stiles's shoulder as he drove.
"She was never in it." I glanced at my brother.
"She was Allison's aunt," Lydia spoke, and I could feel the pain in her voice. The pain of someone who recently lost her best friend. WAnd a total sociopath."
"You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to." Kira whispered while glancing at the back of my brother's head.
"Um, yes, he does." I was going to scold Malia as if she was a curious child that didn't know when to keep her mouth shut.
"Yeah, she's right. You guys should know. You need to know."
"All right." Stiles sighed. "Kate was the one who set the fire that killed most of Derek's family."
"Some of them survived, like Cora, and Peter." Scott added.
"A very angry Peter," Lydia appended.
"Yeah, he's the one who bit and turned me." My brother sighed.
"And the one who scratched me." I added.
"And the one who finally caught up to Kate and killed her." Lydia explained.
"And we saw her buried." Stiles and I replied at the same time. He took his eyes off the road for two seconds to place a kiss on my forehead and ask once again, if I was feeling alright.
"No." Scott shook his head. "We saw a casket, remember? She wasn't in it. The Calaveras heard that Kate had been killed by an Alpha's claws. They wanted to make sure she was really dead. Her body was healing. More and more, as she got closer to a full moon. She was coming back. So they switched out the bodies. If a hunter is bit, they have to take their own life before they change. The Calaveras, they treat the code like law. They make it their responsibility to enforce it."
"Good for her." The were coyote intervened. "I wouldn't do it either."
"Would you kill half a dozen people to get out? Because that's what she did."
Kira sighed, placing her hand on my brother's shoulder. "So Kate's a werewolf now?"
"I don't know. You know, there's a saying, sometimes the shape you take reflects the person you are." I nodded along with my brother's words, remembering Jackson Whittemore. What was of him now?
"What kind of shape is sociopathic bitch?" As soon as the Martin girl spoke, the car was hit by something, making Stiles stop driving as we all got startled. We all got out of the car as Braeden got off her bike to ask what had happened.
"I don't know. It felt like we hit something." Stiles and Scott were examining Roscoe.
"Scott, we need to get there by night. It's too dangerous otherwise."
My brother sighed. "Go." Stiles made a gesture with his hands, trying to let him know that it was okay for him to leave with Braeden.
"Not without you."
"Dude, someone needs to find Derek. We'll figure something out. We always do. Just go."
I walked to my brother, kissing his cheek and embracing him. "Be careful, okay?" He nodded his head, wishing the same for me and sharing a look with Stiles. A look pleading him to take care of me.
Before he walked to the bike, he was stopped by the fox girl. "Scott... I can't think of anything else to say except for be careful. And...and I know 'Be careful' sounds kind of lame and I'm totally sure the second you're gone I'm gonna think of something much better, but I..."
"Uh, 'Be careful' works for me." I smiled as they embraced each other.
I sighed. "They are so cute," I whispered while wandering close to Stiles as his hands rubbed Roscoe's side, making sure that there wasn't any scratch.
"We are cuter." He replied while biting his lower lip and inspecting his jeep. I laughed and nodded my head and watching my brother disappear with Braeden.
"Guys," Malia grunted. Therefore, I turned around to look at her. "I don't think we hit something. I think something hit us." She was holding up what seemed like giant teeth or claw. I couldn't differentiate them, to be honest.
I sighed, leaning against the jeep as I examined my boyfriend inspecting the hood of his car. A screwdriver in his mouth. "Stiles, baby. Don't hate me. I know you love Roscoe but maybe we should just walk." He glanced at me with wide eyes. "It's getting colder and darker." I made a gesture to the girls as they rubbed their arms.
"Hey, I will never abandon this jeep. You understand me? Ever. Ever. Ever."
Malia glanced around. "Work faster, Stiles." She paused as her eyes continued examining the whereabouts. "There's something out here with us." I gulped.
However, night had fallen upon us and Roscoe wasn't working. Malia continued in front of us, glancing around, prepared to attack whatever was observing us. Kira had grabbed her sword while Lydia and I tried to help my stressed boyfriend. "Lydia, could you please hold the light still for a second? It's really hard to see anything if you keep shaking it like that."
Lydia scoffed. "I'm shaking it like this because we're in the middle of nowhere with your broken down jeep and we're being attacked by yet another razor-clawed monster. And I'm terrified."
"Well, just be slightly less terrified." He answered back. "You hold this." He handed me a big metal piece.
"What's this?" I inspected it.
"I don't know. I'm hoping it's not important."
"Oh god." I sighed. Things got worse as the next thing that happened was Malia running towards somewhere or something. "Malia!" I yelled. Kira ran after her while Lydia told Stiles to continue fixing the jeep.
"You... you please don't do that ever again!" Stiles scolded Malia as he drove. The jeep was finally fixed or so we were hoping.
"Do what?" She innocently asked.
"I... I thought you just took off. I thought you were running."
"I was running."
"No, I mean, like, I thought you were leaving."
Malia pouted, looking between Stiles and me. "I wouldn't leave without you guys." We glanced at her. "I would never leave without you two. Them I would leave."
"Yeah. Uh, it's progress." Stiles sighed. "I feel like the dad of a teenager girl." I nodded my head. Stiles and I had taken the paper of teaching Malia what she shouldn't do. The actions she must separate between a human and a were coyote.
"Don't do it again, okay?" I begged. "You scared us." She apologized. "And that doesn't look good."
"It's okay."
"Are you sure?" Kira looked worried as the rest of us. "It looks deep."
"I can feel it healing." I sighed in relief.
"You didn't see anything?" The Martin girl asked.
"Barely. It had a strong scent, though."
"Like what?" I asked while offering her water from my bottle.
She smiled at me as if she was a little puppy, grabbing the plastic bottle. "Like death."
When we finally arrived at the place where Scott and Braeden where we noticed that they were grabbing a young boy. Malia asked if that was Derek, to which Stiles replied 'Sort of'. That young boy was Derek Hale.
Derek Hale was a teenager once again.

Humans Are Space Orcs, “A Visiting Delegation.”
Writing on another request I received a few times. I hope you like it.
Government officials filed into the room one after the other speaking quietly. Their voices raised towards the ceiling and echoed off of the walls. Little drops of water glittered in the darkness as the mass of packed bodies caused a heat that disturbed the thin layer of ice which covered most of the room.
The ice itself lent to excellent acoustics, and the dull roar of voices never seemed to fade as the delegations slowly filed down onto the staggered platform seats.
There was a buzz of nervous energy about the room, emanating from all corners as they sat waiting for the meeting to start.
Off in the corner a white furred scientist clad in a heavy winter coat sat meekly to the side.
She was very nervous.
It had taken months to convince the Tricarian council that the creature existed, and even with the proof it had provided, things had gone very slowly. Only after the vaccine was synthesised and distributed did they even begin to consider what she said to be true, even then, she knew they didn’t really believe her, and who would. An alien had broken into their polar research fort and handed her a cure for the the plague?
Even saying it to herself seemed crazy.
When she handed over the device to other government scientists, they had managed to make contact with…. someone , but they spoke too well for the leaders to really believe that they were another species. Most just thought it was some sort of elaborate prank or conspiracy.
Either way, today was the day they were going to find out.
Their world was slowly recovering, and now they could turn their attention to other matters.
The first lunar launch would be happening within the week, if all things went according to plan, and if there was something out there… something already capable of space travel, they would like to know about it.
Again she shifted nervously in her seat.
What if this supposed….. GA delegation never showed up.
She, and her colleague were the only ones to have seen the creature in person, and he refused to come forward and speak about it, so that left only her. IF the creature didn’t show up she had no doubt they would have no problem pointing fingers at her and calling her insane.
She glanced towards the window, which looked out over the icy tundra and towards the coast, where large fishing barges were slowly creeping up through the ice, their nets cast into the sea.
No matter how today turned out, it was going to change everything for her.
Either alien would descend from the sky and walk into the council chamber for peace talks, or she would be labelled as a crazy loon committing conspiracy against the government, and her life would be ruined.
She slumped back in her seat, the fur of her chest bunching up under her coat.
She flicked her large ears in annoyance, and wrapped her tail tight around her legs nervously.
Oh please strange alien visitors come and help me.
It was a very strange thing for her to be thinking. The first time she had seen the creatures, she wanted nothing more than for it to go away and back where it had come from, but now, well now she wanted nothing more than to see it again, if not to prove to everyone else that it had been real, but to prove to herself that it had been real.
The noise around her died down, and she looked up to see members of the trichar head council filing in to the other side of the room and taking their seats.
There was some discussion between them for a few moments and then one of them stood and the entire room went silent.
“Brothers and sisters, I welcome you today, today of days, to an unscheduled interanual meeting under…. Very strange circumstances.” He looked around the room, eyes scanning up and down the seats, “For the past few months we have slowly been recovering from the virulent plague that wiped out fifty percent of our population.”
There was a sad murmuring about our room.
“A plague that was well on it’s way to taking ninety percent of us from the face of this planet.”
The mood in the room grew somber.
“Now, I know we have all heard the circumstances around how the cure was discovered…. Or given as the story goes, and I am sure most of you, just like me, are questioning the validity of these statements. Today is the day whether we learn if these are true or not.” He glanced around the room, his tail swishing slowly over the ice, “As of now I am still skeptical that anything of the sort happened.” he glanced over at her and she wilted back in her seat.
“Regardless of what happens today, perhaps we can be assured that we will survive, life will go on and we will rebuild, though we mourn for those we lost.”
There was another soft muttering around the room.
She sensed some anger in the air knowing that the chancellor had failed to mention that the fifty percent of people who had died mostly came from the lower uneducated classes. There were those whisperings in the government, that many didn’t see it as such a great loss. The uneducated masses were gone, leaving behind them only the elite to live upon the face of the earth. They no longer had to think about sustaining such a large and useless population.
Not all of them could be used on the fishing barges, and many of them didn’t have the skill to harvest ice fruit, so what use were they really.
The thought made her sick.
“According to our preliminary discussions with the entity that calls itself the Galactic Assembly, we have agreed to meet today with one of its ambassadors to discuss peace talks and joining the galactic community.”
There was laughter from around the room.
The Chancellor smiled, “I myself am skeptical of course, and the words shock me even as they come out of my mouth. It would be an amazing day if intelligent life existed out in the universe. For it would change our fundamental understanding about how we see ourselves. We would no longer be alone, but If I am being honest with you, I am more inclined to believe that this is some sort of clever and audacious ploy from our enemies trying to take over our power after our sudden weakening due to population loss. If that is the case we must plan accordingly, and since I have seen no aliens up and walk through that door, I am inclined to believe the latter argument.”
There was a chorus of agreement from around the room.
She wilted even further in her seat.
“The agreement was to meet at this time and this place, and our scientists have been monitoring radio activity out of orbit, and we have detected no such alien vessels in or around our orbital ring, and neither have we seen any strange alien ships descending from the sky, no Unidentified flying objects as it were.” He turned his head to look in her direction, and by this time she had sunk so far into the cavern of her coat that only her ears and eyes peered out.
“What have you to say for yourself.”
She took a deep breath and straightened, “Chancelor, I am sorry, but we must give them time. The creature made it very clear to me that it was not meant so readily for cold weather conditions like us. They probably had to make special preparations and lost track of time, I am sure they are going to be here.”
There was a great rumble about the room mostly chuckling from skeptics who thought her to be just another hystric member of the lower class.
She knew what they thought of her.
She had come from the uneducated masses originally and her climb to the top had been arduous.
In many ways she didn’t really consider it to be over.
She stood.
“Please, I implore you, the creatures are five minutes late in arriving and already you doubt the truth of what you saw on that drive. There was information there, images and pictures of all different kinds of lifeforms, and sounds and videos. WHat reason would another government have to fake all of that, especially at a time like this. No one had the resources to be working on such a thing, and when it was given to me much of the world was sure we were going to be dead in the next ten years, it hardly makes any sense.”
As she spoke, voices in the crowd rose and she was drowned out as groups began shouting over each other to be heard.
She curled up tighter inside her jacket, tail wrapping around her legs again in a self soothing gesture as the uproar grew louder and louder. On the ceiling above, decorative ice moldings vibrated and shed water.
This was going to be a disaster.
She melted further into her coat, expecting for them to take her away to a sanatorium at any moment.
And then the door opened.
Clean unfettered light spilled in from the outdoors, and across the ice encrusted floor causing it to glitter like a billion tiny diamonds encased in blue and fractured ice.
The entire room went quiet and then looked up.
Anger was replaced with gasps of shock, as the entire room pushed back in their seats.
She felt a sudden and marvelous wave or relief wash over her as she looked up and saw the strange alien creatures step into the room.
They were tall, almost a foot taller than most in the room, and just how she remembered them, with their long arms, and legs.
When they walked their boots thudded heavily on the ice.
The front rows shied away as the creatures entered in a small group of four.
They were dressed, from head to toe in thick padded gear with artificial fur sticking up around the neck and face.
Their noses and mouths were covered by another layer of covering, leaving only their eyes peering out from the inside of their hoods.
Behind them, the door swung shut.
For the longest moment, there was nothing but silence in the room, until the lead creature slowly reached up and pushed back his hood, causing it to fall over his back. When he did he first revealed the top of his head, covered in a thin and unproductive layer of light yellow fur that seemed to have no other purpose than to rest on its head.
The rest of its face, once it pulled down the front of the mask was clean from hair, and cold air bit at it’s skin as it breath plumed up and around it.
It had no ears of which to speak, unless perhaps, those strange folded…. Things on the side of its head were ears.
As she remembered, the creature itself had a very flat face and a large jewel-like emerald eye. Based on the others standing behind it, it should have had two eyes but one of them was covered.
It turned its head to look around the room, before falling on her with a depression of recognition.”
It showed its teeth at her, teeth surprisingly similar to their own. Sharp teeth for tearing at the front and flat teeth for grinding at the back.
“I am glad to see you well.” it said, and its voice echoed across the room for all to hear and understand,
There was a murmuring of surprise. Underneath the strange voice, she could hear the even stranger grunting and hissing of it’s natural language.
It walked forward with its companions in tow, “Forgive our tardiness, but we had to prepare ourselves for your child weather.”
The room remained silent.
The creature looked around at them and tapped its foot on the ground, “Ok then, introductions are in order. I am Admiral Adam Allen Vir of the Galactic Assembly and United Nations Space Corps, leader of the Galactic  armada, ambassador of the Galactic assembly and explorational representative. A few months ago I was sent by my benefactors to provide a cure to your people and sew the seeds of invitation to the galactic community.” He looked around at them, “Our other delegates apologies for not being able to visit with you today, but your planet is very very cold, and we are the only species that may survive with any sort of….. Regularity on the face of your planet.”
Even as she watched, the skin on the side of the creature’s ears were beginning to turn red, and then purple.
Finally after many long minutes the chancellor stood, staring and wide eyed.
“So it is true.”
“Yes.”
“How can we be sure this is not some elaborate hoax.”
The creature stepped forward over the ice, which popped slightly under his weight. He walked closer to the chancellor who cowered back in his chair.
He paused just before the desk and pulled off the coverings on his hands, and then unzipped the front of the jacket, allowing it to fall open.
WHen he pulled it off, the skin of his arms and hands were bare, leaving only another thin covering over his chest.
He held out a hand.
“Feel for yourself, and tell me if any of your enemies could prejudice a facsimile of life that is so convincing.”
Not sure what to do, the chancellor reached out a hand and gingerly touched the creature drawing back in surprise and some measure of disgust. When he came back again, he took the hand in both of his and turned it over, palpating the structure of the bones and flesh underneath, examining a fine layer of useless hair on the back of the hand and arm.
“I…. see your point.”
The chancellor gave the creature his hand back looking on nervously as the creature began to spasm and vibrate. He pulled back, but the creature shook its head, “Forgive me chancellor, it is very cold here.”
He reached out and pulled his jacket back on, followed by the gloves and pulling his hood up around his ears.
It stopped its strange vibrations a moment later.
“As it is, the GA has invited you to join in peace talks with them. They are eager to trade resources and knowledge for precious combinations of minerals found in your ice. They would provide the means of space travel, or assistance in building your own, and offer protection from unknown factors in the rest of the galaxy. We simply desire to be allies in a far reaching cooperative conglomerate.”
The Trichar eyed him, “And why would your people be so interested, there is nothing that we can offer you that surely you could find somewhere else.”
“We are not so arrogant as to think we have a monopoly on knowledge and experience. For example your ability to live in such cold climates intrigues us. This entire room is made of ice and steel, hardly worth keeping out the cold. Even I cannot remain here for too long. I believe there is much we can learn from each other.”
The Chancellor sat unblinkingly staring at the alien.
“There are many opportunities that we can provide you. There are icy worlds ripe for the picking that much of the GA hasn’t bothered to touch considering their harsh conditions. There is plenty of room for industry and the transfer of knowledge. We would do nothing but benefit from you joining with us. If you so choose we would be willing to take one or a small group of your number to meet with the entire assembly on the capital, though there is no pressure to do so. We also have broadcasting and camera equipment which would suffice for you to meet them over long distances. There are many ends and possibilities, but…. Out of my own experience, I believe you would do well to take this offer.”
There was silence around the room.
She could hardly blame them. A strange alien benefactor seeking peace with them and offering opportunities and a great wealth of knowledge was certainly too good to be true. Also, the creatures were kinda…. Strange looking. In the full light of day and with the sun streaming in through the windows, she would have sworn that she could see little circulatory structures peeking as blue veins from it’s skin.
Almost as if it was partially translucent.
She shivered, it really creeped her out that she could see its interior structures from the outside.
No wonder it wasn’t meant to survive on such an icy planet as their own. Granted it had looked a lot stranger and more intimidating in the dark, but there was something about seeing the whole thing in it’s true form in daylight that still threw her off.
Looking around at the rest of the room she saw a mixed bag of emotions.
Awe.
Disgust.
nervousness .
Excitement.
The alien tilted it’s head casing its wide eyes about the room. She turned her head away, feeling that if she looked for too long, she might fall into that depthless green pool. That was the strange thing about it, though it had a body and physical presence like the rest of them, it seemed so….. Strange and….. Other, as if it was only showing them a part of itself.
That was silly of course.
She was just being paranoid.
And focusing on that paranoia because another part of her was very excited.
She wanted to see what this creature was talking about.
She wanted to experience it.
She wanted to go with them.

I’ve been thinking of making OC family trees (more specifically for my Warriors OCs because that’s pretty much all my OCs anyway), because A) It gives me an opportunity to draw characters I don’t draw often or have never drawn before. I mean I can’t just give the main guys attention. And B) For the background characters that have family, I want to map them out not before I forget later. My memory is fuzzy when it comes to characters I hardly think about. Basically I’m a virtual crazy cat lady, and I need a way to keep track of all these guys.
It also gives me an excuse to talk more about them.
Of course, it would be best to start from the beginning. The first generation (or the first generation you’ll probably ever see)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cloudy, Rose, Lunar, and Luna were all born around the same time, as were their kits.
(Also just to get this out of the way early, I actually made a mistake when I was typing in Rowan’s name. I forgot I named him Rowanstorm and went with whatever I thought I named him. Uh . . . Which it wasn’t lol)
Lunar and Heather were your average couple (assuming all the couples you know of are good to eachother), and they were excited at the thought of having kits. However, the Clans were not made yet. There was no medicine cat to heal the sick or wounded. Heather would go on to have their children, but would pass away soon after their birth, leaving Lunar devastated. Luna was the first cat he thought of when he went to find a cat to raise the kits (saying he’s a tom and they’re still newborns, he didn’t have any milk to give them). She had her kits sooner, though the father wasn’t around. Luna, hearing what happened, agreed to raise her brother’s litter as well.
And as there was not yet a system yet, their kits weren’t given any suffix. Well . . . except for Nightshade, but she was named after a plant with the same name. Everyone else was just Owl, Charcoal (who never joined the Clans, so he kept that name), Heart, Moth, Flight, and Remorse. Lunar’s kits eventually growing up to create the Clans. Not being able to choose between their children, Luna and Lunar decided to live together in a different area away from the new territories. Charcoal joined them too.
I would go into too much detail on that, but I’ll get to that later. I actually should get around to this lore, so it’ll definitely happen. Just not here. Weve also got another family to talk about, plus I think I explained some of this before in some discord screenshots a few months back.
-----------------------------------------------------------
But anyway, let’s move on to Rose and Cloudy’s group. Again, their relationship isn’t anything special, they’re your average couple. Unlike Heather, Rose actually lived to see her kits grow up. Both of them did. Blossom and Rowan grew really close to their parents. Cloudy would take them on adventures to explore the territories. Rose was more relaxed, but she was the one who usually broke the two up when they were fighting. And if she noticed something bothering either of her kits, she was almost always the first to reach out.
When Lunar’s kits began warring against eachother over who should rule, both Rose and Cloudy took Flight’s side. Rowan and Blossom didn’t know what side to pick, and neither were they willing to potentially fight their parents if they ended up disagreeing with them. For a short while, Rowan and Blossom escaped to Remorse’s group (she made a shelter for the cats who didn’t want to be involved in her siblings’ war, or planned to stop it).
When they found out their parents had died in the war after it ended, they were torn between joining the newly-founded FlightClan in honor of what their parents were fighting for, or to stay with Remorse’s group (now RemorseClan). Eventually, they both decided on the former, saying their good-lucks and good-byes to their old groupmates. One of Flightstar’s first acts as leader was giving everycat under her care a new name, while staying respectful to the names they were given, thus Blossom and Rowan’s new names: Blossomheart and Rowanstorm.

it's crazy that so many of the songs from Maisie Peter's last soundtrack fits a lot of the oou couples
yes!! a bunch of analyses below for natewyn, maeve/luis, cooper/kris, addy/keely, and phoebe and knox lol
Neck of the Woods:
Falling asleep in a hospital waiting room 'Stead of holding it over my head Baby, you held me instead
That's such a Maeve and Luis line. Maeve was so worried about her relationship with Luis, and after the bomb went off, all he did was hold her, be her safe place, so she could sleep.
I'm scared but I'm never alone And I'd swim to your call on my phone
Maeve hates beaches but Luis is so important to her that she's willing to overlook that (see: kayaking)
Millhouse
Cup of coffee spilling over, oh, cleaning all my cuts
When they cut class to get coffee, Phoebe definitely realized she had a crush on Knox
'Cause you deserve it and we're somewhat decent people Or at least trying to be
That's so Phoebe and Knox. Phoebe says she's trying to be a better person and Knox well... he already deserves the world.
Funeral
I want you to know that the past is past That everything changed when I heard you laugh
This screams Maeve and Luis. She had a hard childhood and he’s just a goofball and she absolutely adores that he’s so laidback, and she’s learning to let go of her past to be with him.
And I can't blame you for things you haven't done yеt Even if I'm scared you will
Maeve spent the entire book hearing about how Luis cheated on the girls he dated, and she is secretly scared that he will do the same to her, but she’s caught in the limbo because he hasn’t actually done anything. It’s terrifying for her, but she’s also learning to love him.
I'd pin all of my hopes to your handlebars
Every time I hear this I think about Luis trying to convince Maeve to ride on the handlebars of his bike (after they start dating it’s basically the only mode of transportation she has)
Happy Hunting Ground
Now interlaced, for worse or for better My bird of a feather
Cooper and Kris have had their lives intertwined now, and they’re so lucky that they love each other.
So don't take it for granted I love you, don't take advantage
Maeve really, really loves Luis, and she’s so scared that everything will implode, and the vulnerability is very obvious in the lines
So careful where your boots tread Oh, protect the love that you get
This entire song is about loving someone so badly you’re scared they’ll hurt you, and Bronwyn is handing Nate her heart, and even though he’s broken it before, she’s letting him know that she’ll still be here.
And we got way too much to lose here, don't you think so? It's too good, yeah, just to let it slip on by without a pause And we've been stacking up the boxes trying to reach for what we wanted
This is so Phoebe and Knox. They’ve got so many hard things in their lives and their friendship and subsequent relationship is something they’ve both unconsciously agreed is worth preserving and fighting for.
I Want You to Change (Because You Want to Change)
I'm not a movie hero, just a guy you say you love Lyin', you say it's fine, you're lyin' But how am I supposed to know that? I can't read that stuff
It feels like sometimes Bronwyn has a lot of expectations for Nate, and it can be overwhelming for him.
Tryin' doesn't mean it's better Doesn't mean you're magically the pеrson that I want from you Tryin' doesn't make you perfеct
I don’t really have a reason for this, but I get Cooper and Kris vibes. Cooper is trying to learn how to live in a world where he can be with Kris, but Kris is already there. It probably causes some tension between them, but they also love each other and know that it will work out.
The Party
I know I'm a piece of work But I wanna make it work with you
Again, Maeve and Luis. Maeve has never willingly given someone control of her heart - even Bronwyn had to force her way into Maeve’s heart. So she’s really trying to love Luis and let him love her.
I'll take your chaos and your crooked in a heartbeat Heart beats louder, I'm gonna make you proud of me
This is so Addy and Keely. Keely would probably be annoyed with how chaotic Addy is, but she lover her either way, and Addy just wants Keely to love her and be proud of her.
People ask how long have I loved you, no comment 'Cause probably since I was seven and you were eight We didn't know each other, but baby, it was fate
There’s something appealing about the age of seven, because that was the year Maeve was diagnosed with cancer. The idea that there was some eight year old boy - a boy who loved to cook and play with his baby brothers - waiting to grow up and fall in love with the broken girl at his lunch table is so damn romantic to me.
Your friends think I'm bad news and a part of you believes them I understand, I know how lucky I am
Luis loves Maeve, and people don’t think they’ll work well together, but he loves her. And he understands how lucky he is to be able to love her.
You mouthed, "Babe, you look beautiful" From across the room, grin in your eyes And I tell the group, "Look that's my guy"
The fact that Cooper can tell people that Kris is his boyfriend probably makes him so happy and bubbly and all kinds of excited and it’s just so cute to imagine him just pointing out Kris to people like Addy and Bronwyn who pretend they’ve never seen him because Cooper looks so happy
Glowing Review
This year's a plot twist 'Cause I'm not the sort to be certain a lot
I love the idea that over a year Keely and Addy start falling in love with each other and they’re just really surprised.
You are better than you know yourself I found you off the highest shelf
Maeve very clearly has a very poor view of herself, so Luis takes it upon himself to build her up every moment he gets. Also, Bronwyn does the same for Nate.
Baby nothing much has changed, I guess your buzzcut, it grew But I'm still the girl with the blush, giving a glowing review
Phoebe made some offhand comment about how hot Knox would be if he grew his hair out, and I can imagine her in the future just staring at him, wondering how she got so lucky to end up with someone like him.
Maybe it's perfect, maybe it's incredibly flawed It doesn't matter I'm happy honey, I'm locking the door
Bronwyn and Nate’s relationship is flawed and broken and scary, but they really are each other’s homes. They really love each other.
Blood moons, skylarks My baby's out the ball park
Ballpark? Baseball? Maeve/Luis and Cooper/Kris??
Life without ya, I never wanna find out You're scared, me too I won't leave you
Again, Bronwyn and Nate’s relationship is so scary but they love each other so much
Lunar Years
I know something that you don't know Scathing down the landline, I still kind of love you And I'm four steps forward in my plimsolls But I still wanna stab any girl that wants to touch you
This feels like Bronwyn after she broke up with Nate. Like, she’s not his but she still feels like she is.
And no one wants to kiss a bad sport So I keep my head high, wave at all your family
Nate had so much respect for the Rojas that he took care of Maeve, even though he wasn’t Bronwyn’s boyfriend. And also this screams Cooper and Kris because Kris is so polite to the Clay family even though they hate him. Mostly.
You got good, I got better But I still care about you, and I think I'll care forevеr
Nate and Bronwyn still love each other, no matter how many times they break up
I know something that you don't know These days all our friends think you're kind of an arsehole
Were there moments where people hated Luis because of the way he treated girls and was now, in their mind, moving on to Maeve? Yes.
And I'm glad we got to do All those perfect, ugly, almost priceless Lost and lovely lunar years together
This is kind of for all five couples. They had their struggles and things were impossible sometimes, but they got to do everything together.

Title: Lunar Eclipse Masquerade
Reiji pt. 2
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2,409
Pairing: Reiji x ? (m/f)
ღ Reiji finds himself attending this Masquerade alone, despite somehow miraculously getting all his brothers to make an appearance. The effects of the moon fuel is longing for the one he loves, but a nice distraction can solve all that. ღ
Mun Yu: We made it to the second wave of LEM. I hope you all enjoyed the set up, and are ready for the main event. Our Lunar Eclipse is in full swing as the masquerade beings. These chapters will be longer.
Additionally: I would love to thank @dialovers-translations for translating the Shu and Reiji versus CD which show cased them during the Lunar Eclipse. It helped me greatly to write his personality.

Despite what most people think, demonic beings are very social creatures. The elites hold countless balls and parties, celebrating their immortality together, and entertaining one another with stories. Typically, they are done in celebration for something – though this is not always the case. All types of beings from across the Demon Realm will come if the host is of high enough prestige.
There would be no such host if it was not for Karlheinz. Seated as the head of the Bat Clan (vampires), Karl’s reach spans far. Being the widow for the former Demon King’s daughter, and having children of the first blood, an invitation from the Vampire King is not one to refuse. Though why would you? In his immaculate castle within the Demon Realm, Eden Castle, it is always quite the spectacle. While the celebrations held in his Human World mansion are nice, nothing compares to a true night of pleasure within the true home of the King.
On this night, there was to be a Masquerade in honor of the first Lunar Eclipsed Moon in over two years. While this night may serve each species differently, the idea to celebrate its return was simply too tempting. For this reason, Karlheinz took it upon himself – or rather – his house, to host the event. This extended to his offspring as well, regardless of their personal agenda. Members of every social elite race accepted the offer, and gathered for a truly unforgettable evening.

The past week had been hell. Getting a hold of all his siblings was no easy task, now that most of them no longer lived in the family mason. Contacting Shu was simple enough, as the two of them were closer now. It was strange. Most of his life, Reiji had hated Shu. Not that there weren’t thing that still made him crazy about his brother. However, they now had a common goal – one that Shu was actually willing to help with.
He was honestly surprised his elder brother agreed to the task. Ever since Reiji learned the true purpose of the Adam and Eve project their father was slaving away over, he knew that there would only be Shu who could actually take his place. Not for anything lacking in himself, of course. Between the two of them, Reiji was clearly a better suited ruler. It was for the simple fact that Shu would be unable to make a true connection like the rest of them.
In order for Karl’s project to work, truly work, his sons – or Adam – must become connected with a human. To adapt their emotions, and breed in order to make a new form of being. Once that was achieved, it was then up to that chosen son to defeat their father. Obviously, there were a good number of them who fit the first piece of that criteria. However, there was an overwhelming lack of interest in the second. While none of the triplets had interest in taking over the position of their father, Subaru also showed little interest.
Which left Reiji and Shu, the two eldest of the sons, to fulfill this plan of their father’s. While Reiji had always wanted to rule after their father, he was not sure that he could actually defeat him. Nor did he want to. His admiration for is father was too great to ever actually defeat him. Which only left Shu, and while Reiji did not want to admit that he would need the assistance of his loathed brother- there was no other option.
Strangely enough, when Reiji had talked to Shu about it, he wasn’t opposed to the idea. Seemed he deserved more credit than Reiji had every given. All that to say now, the two brothers were slowly growing closer – and Reiji was actually starting to enjoy his brother. It was at first disturbing – but the two of them were much more alike than Reiji had ever thought. The two had gotten so close in fact, they were able to connect with one another through the magic they’d been practicing in the Makai. Now all the two of them had to do was concentrate on the other, and a telepathic bound would be formed for communication.
With Shu contacted, next he would need to track down Laito and Ayato. It took a few days, but eventually the familiars were able to locate the middle children. Ayato was annoyed, but he and Yuko accepted the invitation. Laito was worse, since he had intended to cut off ties to the family. Reiji had warned him that it was no possible, and that if he did not attend this event, their father would find him. Which only left Subaru and Kanato. Those two Reiji decided to tell the night before, that way they could not refuse the invitation.
The only person he could not convince to come, was Rika, much to his dismay. She apparently had a thesis paper to work on, and experiments that couldn’t be left unattended. While this upset him, there was not much he could do about it. Such a change in personality for him, to actually allow a human to deny him. The thought alone made him want to call her again, demand her presence, or take her by force. However, he was much more attracted to the fact that Rika had goals as she did. She was driven, smart, proper, sexy, honestly – there was nothing he would change about her. He would simply go to the event alone.
With is brothers taken care of, Reiji went on ahead to Eden Castle, to assist his father in any preparations. When he arrived, he was surprised to find Skye commanding the familiars in his place. Reiji wasn’t the biggest fan of Skye – mostly because he felt uneasy that a male dressed the way Skye did. It was already unpleasant when Laito would force his human stalker to do as such – but to see someone else do it – in his father’s home no less – was simply unnerving. With Skye, Reiji never knew how to address him – though the siren never corrected him if he were wrong.
The two of them were effortlessly able to prepare the castle for guest, and the night of the Lunar Eclipse arrived in grand fashion. Karlheinz had not skipped any member of the Makai’s social elite. The Snake Clan, Eagle Clan, Wolf Clan; and a few of their sub families – not to mention sub families of the Bat Clan as well. Reiji was surprised at how many guest could fit into the Castle, then again, it was magic – no doubt that played a hand in helping.
Reiji proudly stood to greet guest as they arrived. This brothers all came in their own time, and even for a while Shu stood with him. Although it did not last, as Shu was apparently doing enough by being present. Reiji could all ready see a future of him taking on a lot of Shu’s duties once their plan had come to completion. Once a great number of guest had arrived, Karlheinz himself finally made an appearance. Although, it was in rather poor taste.
Growing up, Karlheinz never formally came into an event with any of his brides. This was, at least to Reiji’s understanding, out of respect – or even a lack there of- for each of them. It would be unwise to come in with all three of them, less he look like a glutton. However, he couldn’t very well come in with just one of them, as it would show favorite and a neglect of the other two. As Reiji got older he also believed that there was hidden malice in what his father did, though he also understood that ground rules must be set for behavior.
On this night, however, the Vampire King arrived with a woman on his arm. She was stunning, however, Reiji had the sinking suspicion as to who she was. If that were the case, then his father had indeed lost his mind. Not only was this woman not his wife, but if she were even his current lover – the thought made Reiji shiver. Perhaps in his old age, his father had begun to lose his mind. In any case, it was not his place to comment on the two of them. Though it did make him annoyed, as the thought of how his mother had always stood off to the side whenever the great Karlheinz made an appearance, yet this ‘woman’ was on his arm now.
Putting it out of mind, Reiji tasked himself with ensuring the night could go over smoothly. With it being a Lunar Eclipse, things were bound to get dicey. He even felt himself growing aggravated that he was unable to be with Rika, especially when seeing Ayato and Yuko. How he longed to hold her in his arm, parade her on the dance floor like the jewel she was. Not to mention the thirst for her blood was reaching its limit. How long had it been since he had last fed from her?
The moons forces seemed stronger this night, in this place. Deciding to clear his mind, Reiji walked out onto the ballrooms balcony. The night’s air was soothing, though the moon was in full view. Deep red in color, it seemed to dominate the night’s sky. As he walked over to the railing, he noticed someone else outside as well.
She looked to be about his age, though with demon’s one can never be certain. Her head was bowed and hands clasped, as if she were praying. That wasn’t a sight one saw often in this realm. Reiji’s curiosity was peeked. This woman stood to just about his shoulder level, and had long hair – which was tied back- but one could tell it had natural curls to it. There were two distinct colors in her hair, with it being a drastic change form top layer to bottom. Her skin was a darker shade, though not pitch black like other demon races may have. A nice tanned color.
The dress she wore had off the shoulder puffed sleeves, with a yellow base color. The top of the dress was covered in a navy lining, which sparked in the moonlight. Her face covered in a mask of similar color, with a navy base, and golden decoration. Reiji could also see horns nestled on her head, definitely a demon of some kind.
She seemed completely unaware of his presence, normally he too would remain to himself, but something in him this night urged him to speak. So Reiji softly cleared his throat, to alert her, “Ahem, excuse me. I don’t mean to interrupt.”
Almost immediately her head shot up, in search for the sound. When her eyes settled on Reiji, he was taken back for a moment. They were an intense golden color. Clearly the eyes of a predator, as if she were searching for a threat. As she took in the vampire, the intensity cooled slightly. “Oh no forgive me. I was simply paying my respects to the moon.” Her voice held some type of accent – which Reiji couldn’t quite place.
Reiji smiles, moving his hand in a dismissive gesture. “You are a guest, and this is a celebration of the moon. It would be rude of me to deny you the pleasure. I do wonder, if I might ask, your accent. I recognize it being European in nature. Where is it from?”
She blushes slightly and covers her mouth, “Ah, was it that noticeable? There are times when I get languages mixed up in my head. When we are in the Human World, my family lives mostly in Greece. However, we travel quite a bit. I simply found the language so beautiful, subconsciously I find myself speaking that way.” As she spoke, her Japanese became more fluid, the accent fading. “Languages are something of a passion of mine.”
Reiji admires how she was able to adjust her way of speaking. Neither language must be her native tongue. “I am also quite fond of learning new Languages. I find my repartee with most to be quite fluid. You seem to be skilled with them as well, the accent was all but gone by the end of your sentence.” Reiji offers her a smile and moves a little closer to her. “I have yet to introduce myself, Reiji Sakamaki.” He offers her a small bow.
In response, she offers him a small curtsy, “Calli, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Sakamaki-san.” She smiles up at him as they both rise. “You would be one of our host son, am I wrong? My father has told me stories about the famous Karlheinz. I had wondered about his children.” Calli looks back over to the moon. “I am glad to have met one of you, it makes me a little less nervous now.”
Reiji was not sure what she spoke of, though from the way she spoke, she must be a daughter to one of the Demon Lords. Which clan though, he could not say. Reiji new much, but there were still so many things about the Makai’s residents he had to learn. Something he would learn, as he and Shu continued towards their goal.
There was something alluring about her mystery. Form the small conversation they shared, Reiji could tell she was a very learned woman. Her upbringing was proper. She carried herself with grace. It was strange that she did not give her last name to him, though perhaps she was worried her title would be less than his own.
Perhaps it was the moon, but something inside him was compelling him to learn more about her. “You said that Greece is your home? I have not been there is quite some time myself. From what I do remember though, it was quite lovely.”
This seemed to light something inside her, as Calli turned to him in excitement. “Oh it is, personally I believe it to be the most beautiful. Though, my mother might not like me saying that. Our family has lived in many different places, and her favorite has always been in South America.” She covers her mouth slightly, “Forgive me, I got a little excited. I have not been around others too much, outside of my siblings.”
“Ah, I can relate to that.” Reiji says offering her a small chuckle. “It feels like an eternity since I have been able to speak with someone who did not share my blood.” He said this, but it was not entirely true. Rika was someone he spoke to as often as he could, but as late that has not been an option for them.
The two of them stayed out on the balcony for quite some time. It felt easy to speak with Calli, which was strange for Reiji. There were not many that shared his intestate, aside from Rika, but this was different. Calli was like him. She was much older than her appearance, and even though she was kept close to her family, she had years of knowledge. Similar to himself.
Even though it felt like a long time, in truth, the two of them only spoke for a few minutes. Their conversation interrupted by a loud crashing sound from inside. Followed with a voice Reiji recognized all too well. “Ah… it would appear I am needed. It was lovely to meet you, Lady Calli.” Reiji offered her a quick farewell and took his leave.
As he walked through the crowd of guest, something compelled him to look back. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw Calli now speaking with a rather large man. This man he could easily identify. That was Ajax, current Head of the Eagle Demons. His body language to the much smaller female was that of someone who cared about her greatly. Perhaps she was his daughter?

Ironically, Sun had been told many times in the past that he isn’t the brightest. And obviously, he tends to disagree with that sentiment adamantly! But this situation definitely doesn’t help...
“Monty, buddy! It was just a prankkk! Don’t you think this is a bit extreme?” Sun wrings his hands nervously, pale cream eyes flitting between the gator and his petrified lunar counterpart who squirmed in his grasp. Monty’s head snaps up and he glares daggers at the sun faced bot, letting out a low growl.
“Stay out of this, Sun! This is between me and the slippery little bird.” He emphasizes his point with a harsh squeeze to Moon’s neck, elliciting a pained squeak from his voicebox. Sun can’t help but winch at that sight. It shouldn’t bother him, and yet he can’t help but be overwhelmed with terror at the sight in front of him. He hadn’t meant for any of this to happen; He just wanted to scare Moon, get him yelled at so he could scamper away like a dog with its tail between its legs. Maybe he should’ve done this with someone other than Monty, though he hadn’t thought that Monty would become so violent. The moment the gator got his hands on him, he lost his mind. Sun shudders, remembering how his stomach dropped when the gators clawed hand locked around his brother’s neck. He wasn’t in very good condition now, either; His arm was torn open, the other pinned to the floor with a single knee. Cracks spread across the back of his head, pieces of the plastic casing missing in large patches. And of course, his back; The metal plate was entirely gone, the gators free hand plunged into it. Moon withered with every move of his hand, limbs letting out small jolting spasms and voicebox spitting out static amidst pained sobs. Sun couldn’t bring himself to enjoy the sight, seeing where the emotions came from.
“We-We have to take him to Vanessa... remember?” Sun tries again, tapping the pads of his fingers together.
The hand exploring his back tenses and clenches into a fist, yanking the wires harshly. Moon let out a cry, his trembling worsening, “Do you think I give a shit?! This fucker has been giving me the slip all night, and I’m going to make sure he never forgets this lesson! Just go back to the daycare or whatever, I’ll handle your brother.” His voice drops into a gravely laugh, and Moon claws at the floor tears falling down his cheeks. It shouldn’t upset him, it shouldn’t. But it does! He should hate him, he should laugh at the sight of him withering in pain. But he can’t help the urge to scoop Moon up in his arms and hug him to his chest, so tight, make him feel safe and calm.
“Monty, you aren’t being fair! Let go of him, you’re going to hurt him! Like, irreversably!” His eyes narrow and he steps towards the gator, hands on his hips. Monty’s tail flicks in annoyance and his grip on Moon eases, attention focusing solely on Sun.
“Why do you even care?! You were the one to give him to me anyways!”
“I just wanted you to scare him, geez! I didn’t think you’d go all batshit murder crazy!”
“Do you have a couple of screws loose in your head or something? The boss said to get him outta the way. Forever.”
Suns eyes widen and he gasps, covering his mouth. She... wanted Moon dead? But, no, that can’t be right can it? He’s snapped out of his spiralling thoughts, “Oh GODDAMMIT!” His eyes snap up to follow Monty’s line of sight.
Moon is gone. A trail of oil leading over to the edge of the balcony before dropping off, and he grimaces; He knew Moon was desperate to escape, but to go as far as to jump off? He races over to the edge and peers down, adrenaline pumping through his system. Gone, gone, he’s really gone! Where on Earth did he go?! He had no way to stop his fall, with the back panel gone, and there’s no way his legs could hold up such a fall. He had to of known that, right? It’s unfathomable, and the guilt hits him like a brick wall.
This is all his fault. His brother had to pay for his stupid, petty spite, again. Maybe he has become a bit soft, he thinks idly, but that doesn’t really matter anyways. He has a brother to find.
