I think some people take fandom stuff way too seriously :( I hate the internet culture of “must get likes/reblogs or it’s not worth anything”

Creating stuff for a fandom should be FUN!!! You’re in this fandom because of what YOU like about it, so make whatever YOU like making!! If you create works of art without letting yourself be bogged down by expectations, it will shine through.

The DCA, in my mind, would be thrilled with anything you made about them. Yes, even HW2 Sun :p

i don't mean to target anyone who enjoys these things, but it really bothers me how the entirety of the dca fandom seems to only consist of self insert ships and AUs... as someone who primarily enjoys "canon compliant" stuff, it's practically impossible for me to find any fanwork that doesn't either have a Y/N character being paired with the dca, or a story that takes place in a drastically different setting with completely different characters compared to the games... it makes me feel like i don't actually belong here :(

I don’t know why but I feel like Sun and Moon would both be super intense on physical contact, and I love the Aus and comics and stuff where they take their time and earn the trust of y/n or the self insert, and then there’s like the BIG MOMENT where there’s a hug and it’s the BEST!! They are both so sweet and nice they would be so excited to finally hug someone if they hadn’t I bet. Also, any fic suggestions? :D

Ok so

About 2015ish, I processed the loneliness I felt as I became increasingly isolated from my (elementary school age) classmates by daydreaming (to a genuinely maladaptive degree) about me being Bonnie from the location of the first game. In the lore I created in my head, he was bullied by the other animatronics. For some reason. I was never bullied by my peers at that age.

I used to watch those FNAF SFM videos and get genuinely sad and/or upset when they “mischaracterized” Bonnie.

In a way I do genuinely miss being able to escape to another world like that. It's weird to think about it in retrospect but I feel a sensation of loss that I'm more grounded in reality now.

(sorry about mentioning a ship. i understand if this doesnt get posted) This is a confession and a bit of a vent? I just wish I knew some platonic-only DCA blogs and AUs. It's so annoying because I'll find a cool DCA blog and follow and then they start posting ship art. No hate to the Sun and Moon ship, I just don't want to see it :( But I don't know how to go about finding blogs and AUs where they are siblings/friends/enemies and it's frustrating! And this site's search function is terrible.

I wish more people in the tales from the pizzaplex tag would draw more characters then tony or Gregory, I'm not saying to go draw unimportant guy #952 nor am I shaming anyone for liking ggy, I just really wanna see more art of Edwin Murray (the mimics creator who when he found out that the mimics ai was used in an attraction, kept going in it to write 'im sorry' even in his final breaths) and Lucia (the girl who has had MULTIPLE of her friends killed due to the mimic and had to defeat it herself, you could make such an interesting parallel with Cassie here) and it gets kinda tiring seeing the same tony and Gregory art, again no shame and I do have the tags muted for them but I'd like a tiny bit more diversity at least ^^"
