their wedding is the biggest and fanciest of the bayview crew's wedding

they get married right out of college and no one can convince me otherwise

the first ones to get married

they just spent a lot of time not being together because of outside influences and now they just want to spend the rest of their lives together

all of phoebe + knox's family is there

plus the santoses, the bayview crew, ash & eli, and nonny

knox asks owen to be his best man and it makes phoebe cry for like three days straight

maeve is maid of honor

phoebe struggles with picking the wedding party because she should chose emma as maid of honor but maeve is her best friend and she was there for phoebe when no one else (other than knox) was

emma is actually the one who says phoebe should ask maeve

maeve throws herself into wedding planning

she and melissa are a force to be reckoned with

they're married in knox's back yard

phoebe chooses to wear a replica of her mother's dress but she asks ashton to help her sew on lace detail to make it her own

addy does phoebe's hair and keely does her makeup

phoebe plans on walking down the aisle by herself but as she's getting ready she realizes she doesn't actually want to be by herself

before she puts on her dress she hunts down cooper and pulls him aside

"it's okay if you don't want to, but you were there for me at a time when i really needed support. would you maybe want to walk down the aisle with me?"

cooper can't answer for a few minutes because he's full on sobbing

of course he says yes, and phoebe is so happy she thought to ask him

there's a lot of crying at the wedding because phoebe looks so beautiful and happy and knox looks so happy and they're just so in love

they have a small wedding after kris graduates from medical school

it's at contigo

the restaurant is closed for the day

it's a small guest list: the bayview crew, nonny and lucas, kris's immediate family and friends, the santos family, and ash & eli

it's less of a wedding and more of a party since cooper and kris decided to just go to a courthouse a few days earlier

they all take turns telling stories about cooper and kris (obviously addy and keely's idea)

addy and phoebe baked the cake themselves

and luis learned how to cook some of kris's favorite dishes from germany over facetime with kris's mom

there's a lot of laughter and good food, which is exactly what coop and kris always wanted

they bake so many desserts and buy cute pastel pink decorations

they throw the party in kris and cooper's apartment

bronwyn's parents plan most of the wedding since bron was busy finishing law school and nate became a partner in myers construction

it's held in the rojas' back yard

maeve is maid of honor and knox is best man

addy and phoebe are bridesmaids too

bronwyn wears a gorgeous dress that her grandmother made for her

nate's vows are in spanish

keely has to run interference with bronwyn's makeup because she's crying so hard at the vows

(i like to believe that nate went to mr rojas for help with his vows)

maeve puts together a slideshow of pictures of the couple instead of her speech, and the last picture is one that ellen took of them when they were little and still attending st. pius together

they print and frame the picture, and it lives on a shelf in their living room

maeve and luis

i kind of feel like maeve and luis don't get married for a while

maeve is a spanish teacher and luis is opening a restaurant so they don't have a lot of money for things like a wedding

luis proposes the night that the restaurant opens (yes this is @glitterandgoldrush's headcanon and i'm in love with it)

they just get married at a courthouse

but they have a potluck dinner that night with friends and family

it's everything they ever wanted

Phoebe/Knox + Bravery

I drop down on Knox’s bed, letting out a slow, intentional breath. He takes a seat next to me, carding his fingers through my hair.

“It’s okay,” he says, as I fight to regulate my breathing. “You’re doing so well.”

I crack one eye open to look at him incredulously. “I just had a panic attack from trying to go to work,” I remind him. “What part of this is doing well?”

He shakes his head. “You’re too hard on yourself, Pheebs. After…everything that you’ve been through, you’re doing far better than anyone could have expected.”

I nod, trying to accept his words. It was supposed to be my first day back at Cafe Contigo today. I made it through the first half an hour, but when one of the customers complained about the sauce being empty, something that was always Evie’s - sorry, Chelsea’s - job, my heart leapt into my throat. I may understand, on some level, why Chelsea did what she did, but the cold terror, that violating fear, I’m afraid I will always associate that with her name. Knox must have broken several speeding laws to come pick me up when I called him, hiccuping and sobbing. Luis basically had to carry me to Knox’s car, and he didn’t even comment on our relationship, I was that incapacitated by my panic. Doing well, he says.

Knox knows me better than anyone now. He can see straight into my brain. He uses the hand in my hair to gently tip my head up, pressing a kiss to the wet high points of my cheekbones on either side. “You are,” he insists. “Baby, you’re the bravest person I’ve ever met. If I had gone through even half of what you have, I would never get out of bed.”

It’s a new thing, baby. It melts my insides every time I hear it. “Says the boy who handled a live bomb,” I say, rolling on my stomach and propping up my chin to see him properly. “You’re incredibly brave, Knox.”

He smiles that soft grin that makes me ache to my core. We’re taking things slow, but when he smiles at me like that, there’s no mistaking the feeling for anything other than love.

“C’mere,” he murmurs, adjusting himself against the headboard and letting me curl into his chest. “Today is a new day,” he says. “We will try again.” It’s become somewhat of a mantra for the entire Bayview Crew.

I press a kiss to the cotton of his t-shirt, and he hooks an arm around my shoulders.

Out there might be a different story, but lying in Knox’s arms like this? Anything could happen, and we would overcome it together. Yeah, I feel very brave.

This is such a good question agggh!!!!

Addy: During oouin I imagined her to have a grown out purple bob that barely touched her shoulders. i've thought of her as being really pale - bordering ghostly.

Bronwyn: I've always imagined Bronwyn with long wavy brown hair - and obviously her grey eyes. I also feel like she would be quite tall (around 5'6 or 5'7).

Cooper: In my mind Cooper has a blonde crew cut in oouil - then quite long floppy hair in oouin. He is also a short king and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Nate: He's always been quite hard for me to picture tbh. If I had to describe him, he has dark brown hair that is not floppy but also isn't short?? Maybe a 5 0'clock shadow???

Maeve: Chestnut brown shoulder length hair with blonde and auburn highlights (this is so specific, but Maeve is such a vivid character for me to picture, I just can't help it). She also has a smattering of freckles on her nose and quite a soft, heart shaped face.

Luis: The tallest of the group by a MILE. He has black hair that is short on the sides but long on the top. I've also imagined him with 2 moles on the right side of his face for some reason? Ooh, he also has a strong nose that is a little bit bent from being broken so many times.

Phoebe: Copper red hair that reaches the middle of her back, with a bit of a wave to it. Her whole body is covered in freckles in true redhead fashion. I also think she would have quite prominent eyebrows.

Knox: Blonde crew cut style hair - almost a buzz cut. Long, lanky limbs. a scrawny white boy, if you will.

Kris: Short fluffy, light brown hair. an oval type face with ridiculously long lashes. I also feel like he would around the same height as Luis.

invisible string is so krisper coded. also peace because cooper's in the limelight all the time and that's something that he can't change but also he loves kris so much so he can't help but feel bad about the media attention

addy: midnights

midnight rain ("he was sunshine i was midnight rain" is so jake and addy — especially based on how the media portrayed them during the investigation) and bejeweled are probably her favorites

he loves the pop sound, but also songs like you are in love and this love remind him of maeve

this is purely based on vibes and the fact that begin again reminds me of that scene when the bayview crew was trying to get nate out of jail and kris was just so in love with cooper and it was so obvious and sweet

is this because evermore is my favorite album and maeve is my favorite character? yes. but also gold rush describes the way she felt about luis until they started dating perfectly. and she had the bridge of champagne problems memorized after the first listen and can recite it on command and nothing's going to change my mind on that
