describe your perfect first date.

-,, im not going to expose my Ideal Realistic perfect first date so ! fictional characters instead; ideal first date would be im traveling through liyue, coming from the direction of mondstadt, i dont have a goal im just on a simple walk, i pass the inn, go inside for a meal then head to the harbor, there on the bridge id run into a beautiful green haired stranger who introduces himself as dr baizhu and thats the instance i Fall Hard for him, then from there we as we establish a relationship and he realises im bad at hiding a crush, we offically get together and over time we head to inazuma as a vacation ( kinda he wants to see if anyones in dire need of assistence there after hearing about the traveler's quest there ) and from there we meet ayato who baizhu notices i have trouble speaking to, bc of the gay panic, baizhu ends up flirting with him first and ayato Doesnt Get it sjhgfs like at all hes so oblivous and i find it adorable and from then i talk to ayato and we get together and he's like oh yeag and baizhus' into me too right and then we talk to baizhu and bam theres three of us now, ayato comes with us as his vacation back to liyue and stays with us for a While-- so long that baizhus like hmm we should go to sumeru so i can talk to this tighnari, so we do but we dont see tighnari first we see a very attractive silver haired man who doesnt notice us, and ayato and baizhu dont notice him that much either, but i do, so i trail off from the two of them, baizhu at first questions me i tell him the truth hes too focused on finding tighnari, so i go on my own , try to approach this guy, he kinda lets me?? ( tbh im unsure id be able to get with him on my own but-- ) in the end we end up together and he slowly joins the other two as well :>

i’m having so many emotions about teru

that was such a fast-paced, high-stakes situation, and he was thrown so many curveballs he barely had any time to cope with, and he still managed to adjust at impressive speed and never lost his faith in mob.

specifically: that moment right before ???% grabs him by the throat, when he’s kneeling on the ground trying to catch his breath. in that split moment, that’s when the realisation dawns, that this version of mob has no qualms in hurting him even with his bare hands. mob being non-violent to the point of letting himself get choked to unconsciousness was literally how they met, it’s one of the foundations at his core, and teru was well aware of it. having that knowledge suddenly be proven wrong, and all that means for his own safety, must have been a lot to take in. i can’t quite tell if it’s fear that we see on his face for a second, but if it is, that really adds to the element of horror - that sudden realisation that you’re in so much more danger than you thought and your initial plan is not going to be enough.

and then of course: when ???% lets loose his power despite so many people still being around and unable to evacuate. the horror on teru’s face, man. i don’t think it’d really clicked for him what mob being in this state actually meant until then. sure, him attacking teru was unlike him, but teru’s still an esper. he’s in great danger but he can somewhat defend himself. but civilians are different, and you can really tell teru did NOT think mob would put them in danger like that. he’s completely shell-shocked. i think that was another huge moment where he had to very quickly reassess the situation and what to do about it, all while coping with the emotional side of it all, since this is one of his closest friends and someone he really admires. he has to very quickly reckon with the fact that despite the pedestal he put him on, mob is just as human as he is and is capable of making mistakes just like everybody else, mistakes that don't detract from his worth.

which brings me to the point of it all. that DESPITE ALL THAT, teru was still able to 1) understand that mob desperately wants someone to stop him and would never want to harm anyone like this (bc he remembered that mob cried after realising what he’d done to his school....... where he’d only really harmed one person, who had done much worse to him..... if he cried after that, how will he feel when he finds out what he’s causing now?), 2) save all the people caught up in the devastation and get them all out of harm’s way, while being in a lot of pain (his EYES were BLEEDING), and 3) never once lose faith in mob. he saw him go on a (unintentional and unwilling, but teru doesn’t know that) rampage, doing things he would never in a million years think mob would ever do, and still took all of that in in record time considering the situation, and came out on the other side still whole-heartedly believing in shigeo and his goodness, and almost dying trying to stop him. because he knew that being the reason hundreds of innocent people got injured (or worse) would completely and utterly break mob.

and while, knowing teru, he might think he failed since he couldn’t achieve his goal (stopping mob’s rampage), what he succeeded in doing was ultimately just as important. he saved all the people he could, and gave his best for the one person he couldn’t.

#mob psycho 100 #mp100 #mp100 spoilers #hanazawa teruki #kageyama shigeo #this got really long but i have so many thoughts on this #there are some things i only brushed upon but that still drive me insane. but those will be for some other post maybe #the gist of this is that i think what teru was able to do here is an incredible feat that not many people could have done #both from a concrete point of view in terms of the people he saved and attempts he made at stopping mob #but also from a purely emotional perspective in terms of coping with all the life-altering curveballs being thrown at him #while being engaged in life-threatening battle #someone please get this kid to a hospital and then to a warm meal and a comfy bed or i'll do it myself #anyway thank you to bones for doing a great job with this final arc so far. excited for the next two eps #even having read the manga i'm NOT ready #post.txt

This is why I don't want to make friends in the system community. I want to. I do. But I'm sick of being misinterpreted. I'm sick of having to deal with a stranger's triggers. I'm sick of having to fight against someone else's s*scourse opinions. I'm sick of being forced to voice my own.

I just want to have a genuine experience in this community. I want to talk to people who just want to share and discuss their opinions. I don't want to talk to someone who is triggered to the point of struggling to say the right thing.

I've thought about making a discord server for systems. I've thought about it real hard and asked myself if its worth it. Do I put my identity out there for other people to scrutinize? Do I take the risk that some people in this community are actually nice and want to interact with me? Do I talk to people who may start rumors about me, or get all their other system friends to hate me? I truly doubt anyone would be that dedicated or sadistic to do that to a random stranger they just met. But anonymity is important to some extent. Am I willing to risk sharing my voice or appearance to a bunch of strangers that I don't actually know?

It just feels like a mistake trying to reach out to people who won't give me the time of day to have an honest conversation with them. And I'm not talking about one person. Please don't see it that way. I'm saying I don't trust most system blogs who are willing to weaponize their knowledge over someone's feelings. Especially to someone who is likely untreated and unable to receive treatment.

I'm so sick of being in this disingenuous community. I should be allowed to discuss and document my trauma journey without experiencing intense scrutiny and judgement. And I wish it was the same for everyone else.

I reblog posts for discussion and intellectual conversation. I want meaningful interactions. I want to talk about stuff without having to pull up 15 bagillion sources for every fucking word I say.

I'm not here to be scrutinized and judged by strangers all over again, like I'm being abused in an organized fashion. Friends are nice to each other, community members hold some level of respect and etiquette towards each other, let's share more compassion. But until then, I'll be here, with friends, who just happen to be systems.

I'm not going to make friends just because they are systems, I literally can't trust it.

alright listened to #that album twice now and my favourites (and probably the only songs i'll come back to) are so long, london, but daddy i love him (very annoying but it's kind of a given. i like the melody and how crazy she sounds tho), florida!!! one tiny moment i really love is at the beginning of 2.10 when nandor wakes up and, upon guillermo failing to show up to help him out of the coffin even after being called, his first reaction is to assume he’s hiding somewhere and to playfully crouch in his coffin and peek over the edge of it in a very distinct “found ya!” way. and even afterwards when he’s stomping to guillermo’s room and you can see he’s getting more annoyed, he still tiptoes to the curtain and pulls it aside like he’s just won a game of hide and seek. he even makes the documentary crew stay quiet to really sneak up on him, nevermind that he announces himself as he gets close (”there’s a vampire approaching your room!”)

it’s just such playful behaviour, especially for a 750+ year old vampire, it’s so endearing. he could have just got angry when he woke up and guillermo wasn’t in the room (another vampire probably would have), but his first instinct was “!!!! playtime!!! :D” and i love him for it. never change, nandor <33

HEY yknow i SWEAR i will actually sleep after this but I love how?? for the few quick scenes you actually get to see Mirror Man’s face while he’s using his deep and distorted voice, his reflection is actually upside down, when the camera focuses on that small rectangle mirror.

and he has to KEEP adjusting the mirror to fix it, like twice in a row. Except... the last time you see it upside-down for just a little bit before he doesn’t fix the mirror back right-side up, he points it at Claire’s feet.

And when he does that BOTH his voices talk at once, and it’s creepy as snap lol and I also love how his face doesn’t stop smiling, even when he’s clearly angry.
