Darkwing Duck Quadruple Feature! (Beauty and the Beet, Whiffle While You Work, Jurassic Jumble, Something Fishy)

Welcome back! It’s been a bit since I visited St. Canard and my march to watching Just Us Justice Ducks by watching one episode, with the exception of Megavolt the first chronological appearances of, each member of the Justice Ducks and Fearsome Five. The Megavolt exception was so I could, by comission, cover the one and only appearance of the OTHER Negaduck if you were curious.So far besides Negsy and Volty, i’ve covered both of Morgana’s first chronological episodes, Liquidator’s and (SIgh) Gizmoducks. But with only 6 left to go.. I put the seires on hiatus to work on ride of the three cabs and my minty fresh retrospective of life and times. At the TIME it didn’t seem like a bad idea, I could get to this any time and what not.. but in hindsight.. yeah putting an almost finished project on hold till two much larger projects, that at the time of this review have 10 and 13 installments left, WHILE also starting two more projects... was not my best move, especially since I have a comission, and an episode needed to properly review that comission AND a valentine’s day episode to review.. all of which come AFTER Just Us Justice Ducks chronlogically and 2 of which involve Negaduck. So yeah I whiffed it bad on this one and this mini-marathon is my way of fixing that, finsihing up the last few episodes before the big event. The episode i’ve waited almost a decade to watch and one of the most loved in the series history: Just Us Justice DUcks, which is coming up next week. Then LIfe and Times will be right back where it was and I promise to get that out weekly. But yeah with logisitcs out of the way and 4 episodes to go, I don’t know how to go slow so let’s get dangerous shall we?

Beauty and the Beat:The Misplaced Batman the Animated Series Villian

We open with one of the first Darkwings I watched via my old Darkwing Duck DVDS, rewatched a while back and easily one of my faviorite episodes and the first apperance of my faviorite Darkwing Duck Villian, though Liquidator and now Quackerjack are giving him a run for his money. But yeah I love Reggie and part of it is he’s something far diffrent than what Darkwing normally fights.

While he still fits in with the Rouges gallery: someone with either powers or a good gimmick whose intresting, engaging and most importantly to this show, Reggie is still diffrent in that he’s an inherently tragic figure. While the rest of the rouges have sympathetic qualities theier still not really good people: Quackerjack chose to lash out at what drove him out of buisness instead of starting over again, Megavolt is your standard wants money bad guy, and Liquidator was a massive asshole. And if you add in the other villians i’ve covered, Taurus Bulba was basically Marvel’s Kingpin as a bul and Splatter Phoenix while having a noble goal of funding her arts does so via framing an innocent child and stealing. They aren’t unsympathetic, some of them anyway, but they are still ruthless because they choose to be. Reggie.. didn’t get that choice. We see from the start of this episode his life has just been being everyone elses punching bag: His boss dosen’t respect him, his cowowkers not only don’t respect him but actively bully him and only the newsest researcher has ever paid him the time of day much less told the two assholes, Gary and Larson, a nice shout out, to stop. And given I reviewed Wonder Woman 84 yesterday i’ts NICE to remember a version of a “geek becomes a supervillian’ story that’s.. actually good. This is basically the same sorry, a disrpsected scientest trnasforms and gets revenge.. just you know done right.

And SOMEHOW Reggie’s life only gets worse as asshole one and asshole two sabotage his work, he gets fired and is forced to experiment on himself. While that’s a classic mad scientst and supervillian trope what’s notable is Reggie didn’t go immiedtly to world domination. He just wanted to cure world hunger and get some respect. He just wanted to be treated like a human being for once. Instead he got turned into a plant and despite this being a miracle.. he gets MOCKED by gary and larson and runs away, feeling like a freak. And since after that the transformation has clearly made his brain unstable.. he goes from a sweet, put upon guy who just wanted help to people.. to an obsessive plant monster.. who still just needs HELP. He needs therapy and a warm blanket and to turn his life around. And his motivation.. is just not being alone. While his kdinapping of the one scientest who liked him, and he assumes has feelings for him, is bad, and selfish.. it’s clear by that point Reggie is just not himself anymore. He’s Bushroot now. He’s lost himself and were this a diffrent show maybe he could’ve gotten the help he needed and some empathy. But what adds to the tragedy is Darkwing himself. This episode really showcases one of Darkwing’s biggest weaknses: his inablity to see crime other than in black and white terms. To him it’s just a game of heroes and villians. Nothing more nothing less. Villians can become heroes, as he hopes for Morgana, but to him there’s just good guys ,him and bad guys, everyone breaking the law. For someone whose often seen as an outlaw himself.. he still can’t see things in any other terms. However instead of just being lazy writing... it’s a clever character quirk, at the center of this episode and our final one, as well as one that pops up a little in Stegmutt’s first apperance. It nicely parodies/deocnscruts the whole good guy badguy dynamic by making it clear that sometimes while the person may be doing bad things.. they have a reason for it and sometimes the law just dosen’t work. It’s something I do wish they’d dug into more but given this was more of a comedy, I get why they didn’t, but what they did with it is great and it adds to this episode tremendously: Darkwing just sees Reggie as another villian to stop and not as a very unstable man who needs his help, but also needs tobe stopped for his own good. It’s why this is such a good episode, besides some great comic set pieces: it has a really tragic and moving story that , with some tweaking woudln’t of been out of place in batman the animateds eires. It’s still a bit goofy in places, as it should be giving the show it’s in btu at i’ts heart it’s just a relaly godo really tragic supervillian origin story.

Whiffle While You Work: The Saving Grace of an Okay Episode This one’s more of a mixed bag. For the good... Quackerjack is fucking awesome. While I already loved him from the comics, I hadn’t met his more lightehearted tv counterpart yet.. but boy was he a delight. From his it’s play time catch phrase which despite being repeated a LOT never got bored to his really invenitve use of toys. While a vilian with a toy gimmick is not new, Toyman has been around for.. 80 years? Damn. I should do some Superman TAS episodes this year to commemerate that. Point is between him and the joker the gimmick isn’t “New” but Quackerjack still feels unique from using actual jacks, to a motorized hula hoop, to a GIANT CRYING BABY DOLL TO FLOOD A CITY. Jackie is just a delight every minute he’s on screen, and his motivation is solid: wanting to get revenge at the Whiffle Boy video game and i’ts insuing phenmonin and merchandise deals for squeezing him out of buisness. It makes him mildly symathetic enough to be intresting but not enough to override his terrible actions. He’s just fun to watch, and Micheal Bell is phenominal in the roll. easily one of my faviorite vilians thus far and it’s easy to see why he showed up quite a bit.

Sadly the rest of the episode.. is not very intresting. It starts with your standard “Adult gets child away from the video game only to play it” plot which is belivieble, my dad was a gamer back during my childhood and probably still plays games ocasionally to this day. He fucking loved Starcraft, Ultima ONline, Super Metroid, Warcraft II and III.. and swearing. He really loved swearing at the games. And the idea of the episode isn’t bad, Drake is jealous that Gosalyn is in the limelight for once.. the issue being a grown man competing with his own daughter just makes Drake really unlikeable. He at one point tries to use his parental authority to take her out of the contest, lies about being in the competition, and dosen’t apologize or learn enough to make up for his being a dick about this. THe episode really suffers from Launchpad not being around to be a buffer between the two and as ssuch it’s just uncomfortable. Hell Gos threatens to reveal Drake’s identity to .. someone.. but she still comes off sympathetic as when Drake presses her on it.. it’s very clear she made the threat on the spur of the moment out of hurt.

Also the whole Whiffle Boy game craize extending to a city is delightfully batshit, and plausable given i’m pretty sure if nintendo could afford their own city we’d have it over in japan and for a video game episode in the 90′s, this one isn’t all that bad. It actually seems to get games on SOME level, and seems based more on an arcade game, which drake plays whiffle boy on at one point and the 80′s arcade competition craze, and since arcade comeptitions were still a huge thing in the 90′s, it’s very clear this si written by people who actually know what a video game is and don’t just fear it as some strange doodad their kids are into. Trust me I’ve been around animation so long this plot has become tiresome. So not a BAD episode, just held back by drake being written even more dickishly than usual. P.S. there’s apparently an ultima level to the game.. so either Lord British is finally putting Chuckles down or someone needs to know what’s a paladin.

Jurassic Jumble: Two Great One Shot Characters that Taste Great Together Well okay Segmutt does get one more episode but this is still his only episode on his own just like Neptuina next, so I count it well enough. Point is this episode is pretty good. It does have some weaknsses: It starts with Drake not beliviing Honker’s theory about a recent theft of acountants, one he’s only on the scene for because he happens to really need help with his taxes because, contrary to what Wesley Snipes thought, Superheroes still need to pay taxes. He dosen’t belive it’s dinosaurs.. he dosen’t belivie it’s dinosaurs despite the foot prints, honker being smart and HAVING FOUGHT A DOG MADE ENTIRELY OF WATER.

I just get annoyed when superheros in a superhero universe don’t hav ea logical reason for dismissing something.. or random citizens.. it was fine if reptitous in the stan lee days because it’d been 20 years, at the time, since superheros were active and people can be stupid but it gets grating when someone says somethin’gs not possible in a superhero universe. Given we’re currrently dealing with an outgoing president who refuses to accept an election is real and his followers who think masks are a polical issue i’ts not exactly unrelasitic, dosen’t mean it’s enjoyable to read or watch.

Still it works here because it splits the plot nicely and Gosalyn’s disbleif is less grating as she just wants it to be martians and dosen’t bully her friend or anything over it, just makes a few snyde remarks. The episode also wasn’t helped at first by the fact there’s a really reptitive bit where Darkwing bungies down to investigate the crook he thinks is responsible, but is actually just chilling at his minium security prison. It’s just not funny and takes up too much of the episode. But the episode picks up towards the second half when we meet our dinosaur: Stegmutt, a dumb but kind and friendly child like former janitor turned stegasaurs, whose unwittingly kidnapping people for his “friend” Dr. Fossil, the professor who turned him, and genuinely is not a bad soul and likes gosalyn and honker. He’s just clumsy and destructive and working for someone he dosen’t know is evil. Speaking of which.. Dr. Fossil is really damn awesome and i’ts a shame he never came back in the comics or cartoon and hopefully Frank does him better in the reboot. Seriously he’s enjoyable, a bit nebbish but delightfully insane, deciding to wipe out all non dino life because he’s tired of getting panicked screams in the street and of all the dino merchandise like those puzzles with the pieces missing. He’ sjust delightfully nutty, with his love of saying bin bang boom and his having to put up with Stegmutt’s antics, as well as the whole joke that he TURNED HIMSELF INTO A DINOSAUR, yet gripes about being a dinosaur and acts like it’s humanity’s fault , balking when Gosalyn suggests he just.. turn himself back. Plus Ptetrodacytl’s are awesome so tha’ts a bonus. Seriously his showing up turns the episode from okay to fucking amazing. Seriously bring him back for the reboot.. and get Rich Fulcher to voice him. Seirously Bob Fossil as Dr. Fossil... it’s too perfect NOT to do casting gag wise, and he frankly perfectly fits the charcter down to the nasily voice. Plus Rich does voice acting quite a bit, so he’s already likely in Frank’s Rolodex.

Stegmutt himself is also not too shabby, your standard child like moron, but he’s got a sweetness and niceness to him and we get some good gags like his habit of breaking off handles, his opening sodas with his tail and Fossil getting rid of him by telilng him to check if he left the bathroom light on...

And the climax with Darkwing.. turning.. into this

I don’t get it either but i’ts still a fun climax. Also forgot to mention Dr. Fossil can do that blow you away by flapping his wings thing Storm Eagle can do. Neat. All in all while not the series BEST outing, it has some flaws holding it back, it’s a damn fun one and one I highly recommend. Okay one more.

Something Fishy: The Better Submariner This is a simple but good one: St. Canard beach has gotten trashy.. literally there’s trash everywhere. And while Drake is ambilent to it, Gosalyn is taking up the crusade to take out the trash and the garbage people... and gets her dad beaten up over it by dumping trash on some guys head but frankly, he deserved it. Things go up a notch though when some sea creatures invade and .. clean up the beach and beat up darkwing. And while they destroy some property.. they aren’t exactly wrong? This is where that flaw I mentioned comes in though. Drake just.. can’t see things in shades of grey and insits he must be the good guy and whoevers doing this must be stopped. However it becomes clear when we meet the antagonist that while her methods are wayy to extreme.. she’s in the right. Neputina is an awesome character, easily one of the series best and esaily horribly underulitized. She was a simple fish who thought a toxic waste barrel was a new friend.. and learned the hard way by becoming a sexy fish woman. Yeah I said it. But her motive is understandable thanks to her origin and just how BAD it’s gottne, with piles of trash all underwater and the laws Drake cites agianst this sort of thing not doing squat. It’s a nice take on the old enviornmental message , something I dreaded going in as it makes a valid point; sometimes diong things the “right” way isn’t enough.. but it still dosen’t justify harming innocent people in the process, as Nep’s ultimate plan to flood the city would. Launchpad ends up being the voice of Reason as drake is too caught in his games of good guy bad guy to get Neptuina ISN’T a bad person, just one fed up with people hurting those she cares about. Neptuina is a unique villan in that unlike Morgana, who while having a sympathetic motive was out for herself, Stegmutt, who didn’t reailze he was on the wrong side, and Gizmoduck.. wellll

Neptuina.. is just misguided. She has the right idea but the wrong methods and Darkwing’s too stubborn to admit it.. but he’s also seen as in the wrong with Launchpad realizing DW just.. isn’t the good guy this time, but in the best scene of the episode talking Neptuina down by pointing out innocent people will get hurt. It’s a good, nuanced episode about envrionmetnalism with a throughly charasmatic and intrersting, acted wonderfully by Sussan Silo, antagonist. Neptuina is a better version of Marvel’s namor the submariner: she goes against humanity.. but I don’t want to punch her and dosen’t have one of her constnat character traits as “I want to bank your wife richards BANG YOUR WIFEEEEE”

So overall.. a good batch of episodes. Only Wiffle While You Work was all that weak, and even it had it’s charms and Quackerjack. It shows the series overall quality: even the just okay episodes here are still really fun to watch. It’s just a solid show overall and whie not without flaws is a classic to this day for a reason. Top 5 Games Of The Year #4

Yakuza 0 is a pretty special game both individually and as a part of its franchise. It’s the first time Yakuza has taken a step backwards chronologically, in order to better explore already established characters and what led them to the events of the first game. It gets a lot of praise already and I’m just here to heap a little more onto the pile because it well deserves it. Although the series at this point is no stranger to having multiple protagonists and Majima has technically been playable before the special feeling Yakuza 0 elicits by having two protagonists wasn’t really lost for it. Compared to the four in Yakuza 4, or the frankly over padded five protagonists in Yakuza 5, taking a step down to just two and placing an almost equal emphasis on each really does the game’s narrative and pacing wonders. Yakuza 0′s story is really good it is an excellent crime drama and among the best main plots the series has to offer. While some might argue other entries, usually 2 or 4, can stand up alongside it I feel 0′s has an edge in some areas. Largely in terms of pace, ambition, and intrigue. For instance, 2 doesn’t really mess around with plot twists, the entire game basically waves a giant flag over Ryuji saying he’s the final boss and the whole plot exists basically just to get to his and Kiryu’s legendary fight. And that’s fine, it doesn’t try to be more than it needs to be and that’s okay. 4 meanwhile has more intrigue and some good twists in there but its pace is much poorer in my opinion. Your mileage may vary on the bullets plot twist, too. 0 has some legitimate plot twists and it does a great job getting players engaged and interested in what’s going to happen next. To get back to 0 though, it doesn’t sacrifice characterization to achieve the quality of its plot either, far from it. It’s the first time we’ve seen a young, hot blooded, and frankly really stupid Kiryu. Kiryu’s never a smart guy but getting to see how he handles situations and behaves before 10 years in prison and subsequent stories smooth his edges and temper his personality is really a treat for fans of the character and newcomers alike. He’s fun, relatable, serious when he needs to be, and most importantly he’s still perfectly recognizable as Kiryu. He is still absolutely that amazing protagonist that you know and love, he’s just young, dumb, and full of.....well you know. On the other hand Majima is almost unrecognizable in this game, being calm, well dressed, a charismatic and professional showman, dissuading others from fighting, all while being openly depressed to boot. This take on Majima still feels fitting because the way he phrases himself is familiar, his gut reactions feel right for the characters, and ultimately this game contextualizes not just his transformation into the Mad Dog of Shimano fans know him as later but many of his actions through the rest of the series. Just ignore how his story here and how he’s written in Yakuza 5 violently contradict one another. We can all just pretend Y5′s Majima writing isn’t canon. The strength of characterization extends to the game’s side characters too, including ones who alongside Majima and Kiryu return from the main series. Nishiki, Kashiwagi, the Lieutenants, Tachibana, Lee, and more are all memorable and great characters. Just, uhh, don’t expect many women in the main plot is all. I don’t want to talk too in depth about the game’s story so as to avoid spoiling anything but it really is a treat. The script takes advantage of player’s expectations in a meta sense, that ultimately this will be Kiryu’s game because, well, Yakuza 4 and 5 were Kiryu’s games in spite of the other protagonists. Those guys all got good, moving stories too and they are all well worth experiencing and having around but ultimately Kiryu is still the most important guy on the block. Not so, here, as by the halfway point of the game players might notice that Majima’s ‘half’ of the game, his half of the game’s chapters, are quite a bit longer than Kiryu’s. Majima has a lot more legwork to do in the story because it is his story, and while Kiryu gets the true final boss fight and is very important to the events at hand as well it’s really Majima who’s the star here. This game is an excuse to explore his character and it does not beat around the bush on that intention. If you are a fan of this franchise you really do have to experience this story. All too often prequel games just end up softening or weakening the existing narratives they’re trying to pay homage to or trying to strengthen but Yakuza 0 expertly dodges that bullet by never missing a beat in terms of quality relative to standard Yakuza entires. My only real issue with the story, honestly, is that Makoto is about as much of a McGuffin as she is a person. The game does take time to develop her both directly and indirectly but ultimately she spends about as much time just being a plot device to be ferried around by one man or another as she does getting to talk and do things. The gameplay is very refined compared to other games in the seires, I would argue it’s tighter and more fun than Yakuza 6′s, even, if only due to the sheer variety of Heat Actions (effectively super moves; ranging from the silly to the bombastic to the brutal to a handful that made me shout ‘HOLY SHIT HE DIDN’T DESERVE THAT!!!’ at my TV) present in 0. If you like beat ‘em ups you’ll like Yakuza’s playstyle; each character gets 4 fighting styles earning three through the story and a fourth through side content. The fourth fighting style for each one is essentially a bonus, letting them fight in their ‘iconic’ styles, Dragon and Mad Dog respectively. To be honest they’re both underwhelming, Mad Dog is maybe Majima’s weakest fighting style and Dragon, while strong, requires a lot more heat than what it naturally builds to stay competent. The fighting styles are still fun though, they add plenty of new and unique options to each character to justify getting them, they’re just not going to win you the game for free or anything. Of the character’s main fighting styles the only real issue I have is the disparity in strength between them, both internally and between each other. No mincing words here, Majima is obscenely overpowered compared to Kiryu. Breaker Style annihilates every challenge in the game with next to no effort besides Mr. Shakedown fights, which aren’t really fun anyway. That said Slugger easily bashes in Mr. Shakedown and even Jo Amon. Majima will breeze through all of his content even on higher difficulties. Comparatively Kiryu can have a pretty rough time in some fights. This is due in part by his fighting styles being really well balanced internally, they’re all useful and thus the player may actually feel like swapping between them mid battle or between encounters. Kiryu not really having an overwhelming option generally means he can be very expressive, my fiancé and I played him very differently for instance on our runs. Whether you most enjoy his fast, invulnerability frame heavy, dash cancelling Rush style which takes a very high amount of investment to become good but I would argue is maybe his best style once you get it there, his brutish item swinging, semi-grappler Beast style which absolutely decimates indoors fights, or the more well rounded, heat action heavy Brawler Kiryu’s got something for everyone. Each of his styles also get a great variety of unique heat actions, all three to environmental cues, and Beast and Brawler to equip-able and overworld items. While Majima’s fighting style are also expressive and a ton of fun to use they just feel too safe and too easy compared to Kiryu. He gets absolutely stellar results and gets them quickly for extremely little effort in the ridiculously fast, low profile attacks of Breaker. Not to say Breaker isn’t fun, because it is, breakdancing to beat people up is hilarious and fun and its heat actions are flavorful to boot, it’s just really overpowered is all. After some investment his Ballerina With A Baseball Bat fighting style, Slugger, also becomes nigh impossible to challenge for the AI thanks to it losing its primary weakness of the bat bouncing off of walls it hits after you put only moderate investment into it. While the least varied of Majima’s styles in terms of heat actions, Slugger is great fun if you ever wanted a proper weapon based fighting style in Yakuza. It feels like what Shinada should have played like. Majima’s starting style, Thug, is a fun grappling and street brawling style that requires a lot of precision to use well and is very well suited to one on one fights should the player be so inclined to not opt for his better options. It makes use of baroque kicks, eye pokes, strangles, and back turns. It’s also Majima’s only style that can make use of non-baseball bat items for heat actions as well as most of his environmental heat actions, and Majima has some GREAT heat actions under these conditions, helping Thug keep a niche compared to the other styles. Honestly, if you like Tekken you’ll probably like Thug. These great fighting styles would be pointless if the game didn’t have fun enemies and situations to pit you against and thankfully it does. Its ‘dungeons’ are a lot of fun and some of the boss fights really stand out. Thanks to the sheer myriad of context based Heat Actions even just fighting the random mooks in the street stays fun for dozens of hours as you experiment to see how you can fuck up some chumps today. It’s deeply gratifying and a lot of fun. While the optional Mr. Shakedown fights are a chore, they are all optional besides the first one so there’s no real reason to bother with them unless you’re doing a 100% substory completion run or REALLY need to grind money in a game where money is already free. Some of the boss fights are a bit mediocre, too, but overall they’re good fun. I do think Yakuza 0 is at its strongest though when it’s making the player fight room after room of enemies, dozens at a time, and just letting them feel like an absolute champion while doing so, really letting them revel in just how strong and cool Majima and Kiryu are. Yakuza 0′s side content is both one of its greatest strengths and in my opinion an area where it shows the most weakness. While Pocket Circuit, Karaoke, Cabaret Club, and the Sub-Stories are absolutely excellent and I truly cannot stress enough how fun they are the game also has a myriad of seemingly half baked minigames based off of real life activities for you to do, a lot of which have unnecessary RNG. Even Bowling has RNG...BOWLING, come on! The Pool, Darts, Bowling, Catfight Club, and other such minigames feel very rushed in execution and for all but the last of those feel like poor simulations compared to other games I have played. Catfight Club is just a really, really, shameless and sexist ‘Watch almost naked women ‘’’’wrestle’’’’’. Also, opposite Majima’s deeply flavorful, engaging, well written, and fun club management minigame Club Sunshine, the aforementioned cabaret club, Kiryu gets Real Estate Royale. Which is about as fun as you think. It’s literally standing around waiting for money to grind for you and then going out and investing it into properties. While the storyline attached to it is decent enough and has some good moments for Kiryu the minigame itself is just dreadful and grossly slow paced. Which is funny to say, because I think it takes less time to complete than Cabaret Club, but it feels like A Lot Longer because it just isn’t fun. There’s the Telephone Club, which uhhh, you can have Kiryu do to get laid. It’s funny in a tongue in cheek way but it’s also not my cup of tea besides laughing at Kiryu’s great dialogue and body language during the interactions. Basically, play Karaoke to hear Kiryu’s beautiful singing voice and also THE ONLY GAME IN THE SERIES WHERE MAJIMA’S SINGING ISN’T JUST AWFUL SCREECHING! 24 Hour Cinderella is a gift to the world and you need to play it. Cabaret Club is also where the vast majority of this game’s female characters exist, as hostesses. While the game could take this opportunity to be sexist (and one could argue it is, for sure) the writing present in Cabaret Club for the platinum hostesses and their story lines is just as good as anything else from the game. They’re worth talking to, learning about, and seeing their development. In all honesty they can almost fittingly serve as a nice break from the game’s intense story, giving the player a breather with some whole and comedic interactions. The Sub-Stories which make up this game’s version of side quests (because yes, this is a Beat ‘Em Up Japanese Crime Drama RPG) are also basically all amazing. The writing is heartfelt, funny, and just really good. They all have strong opening hooks without forcing the player to immediately get involved and despite being 100 of them they’re basically all really memorable. This is also where the game pays Kiryu back a bit for his lost story content relative to Majima, giving him 60 of the 100 sub stories. They’re all great ways to get to see more aspects of these characters and the citizens of Kamurocho, please give a bunch of them a try if you play this game. I also briefly want to talk about the settings of the game, Kamurocho and Sotenbori. They’re literally just the real life Japanese districts, Kabukicho and Dotenbori by SLIGHLY different names. If you play this game enough you’ll know some real life actual locations in actual real life Japan like you’ve been there. You’ll be able to navigate at least a few square blocks of Japan without a map, it’s amazing, and it’s really something special compared to other games. Also, I’m not exaggerating, the overworld(s) of this game are only a few square blocks large but the game plays that to its advantage. Navigating from one side to another of either one takes a minute or two at most and the streets are always PACKED with content. It’s impossible to wander around playing naturally without falling ass backwards into a dozen or more of the game’s sidestories and inevitably getting sucked into playing a few of them and seeing how good they are. I love this game’s map, it’s so brilliant in its design by simply being true to a real life location. Yakuza 0 also sports stellar sound design. The sound effects are BEEFY, hitting things feels amazing and nothing sounds out of place or off beat. The bombastic, over the top hit sounds really sell Majima and Kiryu’s overwhelming power and it just makes every fight satisfying. The soundtrack similarly is good, and while much of the soundtrack isn’t what I would call listening music, the Karaoke selections, specifically Bake Mitai, sure are. I’m not really the kind of guy who can tell you why the sound design is good, it just is, trust me.

All in all, Yakuza 0 is a stellar game and is exemplary of both what a modern beat ‘em up AND a modern RPG should strive to be like. It is a masterpiece in its own right and I’m glad that its success in the western market has secured this unique, beautiful series a future. Please play Yakuza 0, it’s regularly on sale on both PS4 and Steam and it deserves your attention. If you’re ever alone on a Friday night, just remember these Yakuza, and you’ll have a great time.

Sedang jatuh cinta pada TV Show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Kurang dari satu bulan selesai 3 season + 1 season on going! Sebuah pencapaian, karna ku jarang nonton apapun itu yg berbentuk series.

Awal mula karena punya kuota Hooq, tapi bingung mau dihabisin untuk apa. Setelah 1 season selesai, malah kecanduan😌

Mari kita rekap masing-masing karakter sesuai pandanganku.

1. Phillip J. Coulson

A leader, a father, a bestfriend, good-fighter, almost bald one.

Sebwa karakter yang 'dibangkitkan dari kubur'. Fyi, dia tewas ditusuk tongkat Loki di film The Avengers. Awalnya dia percaya cuma tewas selama 8 detik, ternyata eh ternyata lebih dari itu. Dia cuma ingat dibawa ke TAHITI, a magical place, untuk pemulihan. Padahal TAHITI itu singkatan misi untuk menghidupkan kembali A.C menggunakan GH325 which is berasal dari alien dengan ras Kree. Di season 2 dan 3, dia diangkat jadi direktur S.H.I.E.L.D menggantikan Nick Furry. Meskipun jadi pemimpin yang disayangi anak buah, A.C tetap digambarkan tidak jadi sosok sempurna. Dia punya miss dalam ambil keputusan. Though he get an alien blood, he still a human being. Di season 4 dan 5, dia tidak lagi jadi direktur, tapi tetap dianggap pemimpin terbae sama naq buahnya. Ah ya, di season 3 dia tida sengaja pegang kristal Trigen (batu yang bisa mengaktivasi manusia biasa jadi Inhuman). Sbab tida ingin kehilangan bos, tangan kiri A.C yang mulai berubah jadi kepompong Inhuman dipotong sama Mack dan putus begitu saja. Selanjutnya, A.C pakai tangan prostetik buatan teknisi kesayangan kita semua, Fitz, yang dilengkapi banyak alat canggih. Di season 4, waktu masuk Framework, kehidupan A.C sama sekali berbeda dari dunia nyata. Dia nolak ajakan Fury untuk gabung S.H.I.E.L.D. dan berakhir jadi guru sejarah. Dari semua agen yang masuk Framework dalam keadaan tida sadar, cuma A.C yang punya ingatan tentang Daisy.

2. Melinda Quailian May

The Cavalry, bad-ass lady, true fighter, muka lempeng jarang tersenyum.

Sebelum direkrut A.C untuk jadi pilot, May kerja dibalik meja mengurus berkas-berkas S.H.I.E.L.D. May dulunya agen lapangan, tapi semenjak misi Bahrain, she's totally changed. Di season 3 diceritakan alasan May berubah; she killed an inhuman girl. Kalo kata A.C, she lost herself there. Awalnya kutak suka sama karakter ini soalnya.......mukanya lempeng banget kaya sampul jilidan. Ternyata eh ternyata dulu dia manis nan riang, but Bahrain's changed her much. Di season 1, dia sempet bobok bareng sama Ward, tapi dia sangat menyesali hal itu. Lol. Di season 3, dia ketemu lagi sama mantan suaminya, Andrew Garner, psikiater. She once married, but yes Bahrain got them divorced. Mereka hampir rujuk, tapi karna Andrew tetiba berubah jadi Inhuman (The Lash), he left Melinda. Waktu masuk Framework di season 4, May jadi agen HYDRA, bukannya S.H.I.E.L.D. Tak usah ditanya lagi lah ya bagaimana jahatnya dia. Namun di separo jalan dalam dunia Framework dia berbalik bantu S.H.I.E.L.D., supaya bisa balik ke dunia nyata.

3. Daisy 'Skye Quake' Johnson

A hacker and computer expert, a good fighter, an inhuman.

Dijadiin agen karena banyak bantu dalam misi-misi tertentu. Dia menganggap A.C sebagai ayahnya, walaupun pernah ketemu ayah kandungnya, but still she's Coulson's girl. Dia punya DNA inhuman dari garis keturunan ibu, Jiaying, inhuman yang punya kekuatan tak bisa tua, organ di tubuhnya cepat regenerasi. Nasib percintaan Daisy tida pernah mulus. Season 1 punya hubungan sama S.O sendiri, Agen Grant Ward who lately known as HYDRA SPY. Di season 2-3 punya hubungan sama Lincoln Campbell, inhuman dengan kekuatan listrik, tapi ditinggal matek, karena bunuh the Hive. Di season 4 ketemu Robbie Reyes a.k.a Ghost Rider hampir tumbuh benih-benih cinta, tapi akhirnya nggak berlanjut.

4. Jemma Anne Simmons

A biochemist, a doctor, Fitz's soulmate.

Saintis kebanggaan kita semua! Punya gelar Ph.D dalam waktu singkat, lulusan terbaik dan tercepat dari akademi S.H.I.E.L.D. departemen ilmu pengetahuan bersama Fitz. I adore her, apalagi kalau lagi jelasin tentang permasalahan yang dia teliti di lab, cerdaz. Pernah jadi mata-mata S.H.I.E.L.D di HYDRA, tapi ketahuan, lucky her she is saved by Bobbi Morse. Punya love story sama Fitz yang naik-turun tiada henti. Di season 1-2, dia kaya friendzone-in si Fitz. Berkeras kalau mereka lebih cocok teman saja. Seiring berjalan waktu, hati Jemma luluh juga. Yaiyalah, Fitz bela-belain pergi ke planet antah beranta untuk jemput pulang Jemma yang 'terhisap' monolith. Di season 3, kisah mereka makin bikin gemash. Most favorite couple. Dalam Framework di season 4, Jemma tewas ditembak dalam percobaan dan konflik S.H.I.E.L.D. vs HYDRA, makanya dia digambarin bangkit keluar dari gundukan tanah. Di Framework, FitzSimmons bukan sebagai couple menggemaskan, saling kenal saja tida. Padahal di dunia nyata baru saling jatuh cinta, ciuman, bobok bareng. In the end, they got together once more.

5. Leopold James Fitz

An engineer, a monkey, an awkward scientist, once been a bad guy.

Kesukaanku Mr. Fitz! Seorang laki-laki yang waktu kecil dirundung sama ayah sendiri, dianggap bodoh. Pada akhirnya bisa membuktikan sendiri ke ayahnya bahwa, 'no dad, i'm genius. you just too stupid for knowing my talent a-hole'. Di season 1 dia cuma keliatan genius doang, nerdy, gak bisa berantem, culun maksimum, bahkan untuk ngakuin kalau dia suka sama Simmons aja sulit. Semua berubah semenjak kejadian Fitz-Simmons kejebak dalam kapsul yg jatuh ke laut. Fitz ungkapin perasaan ke Simmons, but yeah that was not the right time. Sepanjang season 2, dia selalu di lab, berkonflik dengan diri sendiri dan menyembuhkan diri pascatrauma waktu hampir nyaris mati tenggelam. Di akhir Season 2, dia akhirnya make a move ke Simmons, eh Simmons malah kejebak monolith ke planet antah berantah. Di season 3, Fitz-Simmons mulai deket (finally), meskipun teteup banyak cobaannya. Di season 4 cobaan berat mereka adalah AIDA, android buatan Fitz+Radcliffe yg ambisi jadi manusia normal. Framework adalah penampilan terbaiknya Fitz. Cool, charming, though had a demon inside. AIDA memprogram Fitz punya kehidupan yg berbalik 180 derajat dari kehidupan normal di realita asli; punya hubungan baik sama ayahnya, jadi pacarnya AIDA (Ophelia), jadi petinggi Hydra, gak punya memori tentang Simmons (padahal di beberapa episode sebelumnya mereka bobok bareng huhu). In the end, they made it, they reunited once more.

Dari sekian banyak karakter, yang paling berkembang Fitz, sih (dan emang ini yg favorit banget). Dari 'nerdy boy' berubah jadi 'bad-ass'.

Moment terbaik adalah waktu Fitz keluar dari mobil dalam status sebagai petinggi Hydra. Sadapppp (4x17). Moment terburuk adalah waktu Fitz bunuh Agnes di Framework. My precious baby has changed into a killer machine.

Sinopsis Novel Dunia Ana

Judul: Dunia Anna

Novel Dunia Anna ini merupakan salah satu novel filsafat semesta yang sangat popular karya Jostein Gaarder. Dalam novel ini menceritakan tentang keadaan bumi ketika tahun 2082. Tokoh utama dalam karya ini adalah Anna dan Nova. Dalam novel ini seorang gadis bernama Nova, sangat terkejut ketika nenek buyutnya mengirim surat kepadanya saat 70 tahun yamg lalu. Tepat saat nenek buyutnya berusia 16 tahun seperti Nova saat ini.

Sepanjang ingatan Anna, setiap malam tahun baru keluarganya di desa biasannya selalu pergi ke gunung naik kereta salju. Kuda-kuda penarik kereta dibersihkan dan didandani untuk menyambut tahun baru. Segalanya terasa berbeda pada malam tahun baru ketika Anna berusia 10 tahun. Sama sekali tidak ada salju turun, banyak binatang yang mati seperti: seekor rusa kutub, tikus, hamster gunung dan lain sebagainya. Itu semua diakibatkan pengaruh pemanasan global atau perubahan iklim seiring berjalannya waktu. Selang 6 tahun kemudian tepat Anna berusia 16 tahun ia mendapat hadiah dari tante Sunniva berupa cincin bewarna merah yang telah berusia lebih dari 100 tahun. Selain itu ia juga mendapat sebuah ponsel yang telah lama ia dambakan. Sejak Anna masih kecil orang sudah sering bilang kalau ia suka berfantasi. Namun sejak musim semi ini, mulai muncul cerita-cerita yang Anna rasakan sendiri sebagai kisah nyata. Lalu Anna berkonsultasi dengan seorang psikiater dari Oslo, ditemani temannya Jonas. Psikiater itu bernama Dokter Benjamin, beliau berusia sekitar 50-60 tahun. Dokter Benjamin berkata, bahwa Anna memiliki imajinasi yang sangat tinggi, dan mereka saling membicarakan mengenai keadaan bumi yang mulai mengalami pemanasan global.

Sepulang dari sana, Anna mengumpulkan kliping artikel tentang iklim dan lingkungan hidup. Ia mencari sumber dari media massa, seperti: koran, tv, internet dan lain-lain. Sambil Anna duduk dan mengguntingi artikel- artikel tersebut ia tertidur. Keesokan harinya saat membuka mata ia telah berganti nama Nova. Segalanya terasa baru dan berbeda. Dilayarnya tercantum Sabtu, 12 Desember 2082. Lalu terdengar dari ponselnya suara “Pling”, dan muncul gambara seekor monyet kecil bermata bulat dinyatakan punah. Tak lama kemudian terdengar kembali bunyi dan muncul gambar seekor iguana dari Amerika Selatan yang dinyatakan punah. Nova sedang mengunduh aplikasi LOST SPECIES yang dari waktu ke waktu menampilkan kabar terbaru tentang punahnya spesies flora dan fauna. Nova pun memutuskan untuk terus menonton berbagai video dan gambar dari awal abad ini sepanjang hari. Ia juga memasang filter tanggal 12, Desember 2012. Pada saat itu juga, tepat nenek buyutnya bernama Anna berusia 16 tahun. Lalu Nova menemuka sepucuk surat dari neneknya itu. Surat itu berisikan tentang nenek buyutnya itu menyapa Nova dan menanyakan bagaimana kabar cicitnya itu. Nova pun terkejut ketika membaca surat tersebut. Bagaimana nenek buyutnya tahu kalau ia memiliki cicit bernama Nova, padahal ia menerina surat sudah 70 tahun yang lalu.

Disaat pagi hari pintu kamar Nova diketuk, lalu ada sesuatu yang menyusup di dalam kamarnya. Nova membalikkan badannya dan tampaklah Anna, nenek buyutnya itu mengenakan pakaian di pagi hari sebuah kimono biru, wajahnya kecil dan keriput. Hari ini ia tepat berusia 86 tahun.Lalu nenek buyut menanyakan kabar Nova dan menanyakan bagaimana iklim di bumi akhir-akhir ini. Nova pun menjawab, bahwa ia ingi mengembalikan spesies flora dan fauna seperti dahulu.Yang tadinya populasi flora dan fauna masih banyak, tetepi sekarang berangsur-angsur menjadi punah. Lalu nenek buyutnya menjawab bahwa ia akan beruasaha menembalikan ekosostem seperti semula sama seperti ia masih berusia 16 tahun.

Mengingat cincin yang telah diberikan tante Sunniva, Anna memakai cincin merah ini sepanjang sisa hidupnya. Cincin ini akan mengingatkan pada kewajiban yang telah ia sanggupi dan pastilah ia akan tetap mengenakannya saat ia menjadi nenek buyut. Lalu Anna dan Jonas mulai membuat artikel mengenai flora dan fauna, tujuannya ia ingin menyelamatkan 1001 jenis flora dan fauna dan memikirkan bagaimana mencegah punahnya flora dan fauna tersebut. Saat Anna melakukan makan malam bersama Papa pamit untuk tidur, satu satunya hal yang Papa bicarakan adalah Anna tidak boleh lagi mengenakan cincin mereka itu saat diluar bermain ski. Apalagi Mama dan Papa sudah berkata cincin itu sudah terlalu besar untuknya. Oleh karena itu mereka menunggu sampai Anna genap berusia 16 tahun. Waktu telah lewat tengah malam dan ini sudah masuk hari ulang tahunnya. Hari ini tanggal 12, Desember 2012. Anna sebenarnya agak kecewa karena tidak terjadi sesuatu yang istimewa ssat jarum jam melewati tengah malam.

Beberapa saat kemudian ia mendapat sebuah pesan dari Dokter Benjamin, beliau mengabarkan kondisi Ester, seekor peliharaannya dalam keadaan baik. Dan ia berterima kasih atas dikungan moralnya. Akhirnya Anna tertidur beberapa jam saja, tapi saat terbangun ia merasa telah pergi beberapa bulan. Lagi lagi dia telah berada di tempat lain di dunia ini. Sebelum telepon berdering atau mungkin disaat bersmaan dia sempat mengingat bahwa ia menjadi Ester dan ia sedang di lawan di kawasan Afrika. Lalu itu semua hanya mimpi Anna ketika ia tertidur saat malam hari ulang tahunnya.

Kisah ini pada intinya menceritakan mengenai keadaan bumi yang semakin tambah umur terjadi pemanasan global. Selain itu seiring berjalannya waktu spesies flora dan fauna semakin punah karena ulah manusia. Kisah ini juga menceritakan seorang anak yang bermimpi ketika berulang tahun, ia memiliki fantasi dan imajinasi yang tinggi sehingga banyak orang yang heran terhadap pola pikirnya. Maka dari itu sebagai manusia yang cinta akan bumi ini seharusnya ikut menjaga dan melestarikan agar bumi serta flora dan fauna yang ada didalamnya tetap lestari Nama : Della Cintya Raisma

Patah hati?

“I love him very much, tapi dia gak perduliin aku. Bahkan aku chat dia gak pernah bales :(“

“Lu tau gak sih udah seminggu lebih dia gak ngasih kabar ke gue, tapi dua hari lalu dia upload foto sama mantannya di instagram? How can I'm not get hurt?”

“Dia itu lelaki brengsek. Gue udah percaya banget sama dia, sayang banget sama dia, tapi ujung-ujungnya gue dicampakin gitu aja,”

“Aku udah berusaha mati-matian buat dia, ngerubah penampilan aku, gaya hidup aku, bahkan aku sampe rela ninggalin teman-teman dekat aku demi dia. But, what I get? I will never be good enough for him.”

Thats all painful, right? Most pain always cause a heartbreak. Kayaknya gak ada rasa sakit yang gak menimbulkan luka. Semua rasa sakit pasti meninggalkan bekas. And I think everybody has their own scars. Entah itu karena di putusin pacar, ditinggal jadian sama gebetan, disakitin teman, dikhianati sahabat dan hal menyakitkan lainnya.

My most painful heartbreak? I had so many scars in my life. But, let me tell you the most painful one.

Satu tahun lalu . . .

Sept 13, 2016.

Umurku 20 tahun saat itu. Ya tepat di hari itu aku berulang tahun ke dua puluh. Aku sedang berada di Kota Medan kala itu. Mengikuti acara Workshop dari kantor. I not celebrate anything. Karena seharian sibuk terus, hingga sampai malam tiba, aku mendapat ucapan selamat ulang tahun dari salah satu sahabat dekatku saat di SMA, baru aku ingat bahwa hari itu aku ulang tahun. Papa menelpon ku tiga kali. Tapi tidak terjawab karena aku sudah lelah seharian dan sudah tidur. Keesokan harinya juga aku beraktifitas dengan kesibukan yang sama. Hingga workshop selesai.

Sept 17, 2016.

Aku pulang ke rumah hari itu. Bertemu Papa.

My mother passed away when I was nine years old. Papaku tinggal sendirian di rumah.

Let me told you a little story about my Father.

Waktu itu kami sedang duduk bersama di ruangan tengah, menikmati teh hangat sambil menonton tv. Hujan turun dengan deras diluar. Saat itu pertengahan bulan Desember dan usiaku baru melewati angka tujuh belas. Aku iseng bertanya kepada Papa, “Pa, menurut Papa lelaki yang baik itu bagaimana?”

Jawabnya “Sederhana saja, nak. Lelaki yang baik itu akan selalu memikirkanmu dalam tiga keadaan dihidupnya. Saat dia sedih, saat dia bahagia dan saat dia berdoa. Saat dia bersedih mungkin ia tidak akan langsung mengungkapkan rasa sedihnya kepadamu, lelaki beda dengan perempuan, nak.”

“Lantas bagaimana aku bisa tahu saat dia sedih?” Tanyaku.

“Lihat matanya. Kau akan tahu semua hal dari situ.” Jawabnya lembut.

“Dan harus kau ingat juga, nak. Saat seorang lelaki bahagia karenamu, ia tidak akan menemukan alasan untuk tidak mencintaimu.” Papa menatapku dalam sambil mengatakan kalimat ini.

“Bagaimana dengan doa, Pa? Apakah semua lelaki berdoa untuk wanita yang ia cintai?” Tanyaku lagi.

“Tentu saja. Lelaki yang baik akan selalu membawa wanita yang ia cintai ke hadapan Tuhan-nya.” Papa tersenyum sejenak, lalu menyesap teh dihadapannya. “Mungkin, saat aku mencintai Mama mu, masih banyak kesalahan yang sering kulakukan. Cintaku untuk Mama mu sama sekali jauh dari sempurna. Tapi, aku belajar melalui tiga hal tadi. Dari situlah aku tahu bahwa aku tidak pernah salah melangkah dalam mencintai. Ketahuilah nak, aku tidak pernah ingin kau dicintai oleh orang yang salah. Aku pun tidak berhak menentukan pilihanmu kelak benar atau salah. Kau yang putuskan sendiri. Kau boleh jatuh cinta, tapi jangan salah melangkah. Cinta itu tidak hanya bahagia di awal, tapi menjaga sampai akhir.”

Papa mungkin bukan laki-laki paling baik di muka bumi. But, he is the best Father for me. Papa mungkin bukan laki-laki paling bijak di muka bumi. Tapi, dia lah yang paling banyak mengajariku pahit-manis kehidupan. Papa ku adalah tipe orangtua yang akan bilang “Do everything you want in your life. But remember, you only have one life. You choose your own way. Follow no one.” Dia membiarkan ku belajar sendiri tentang hidup tanpa memberikan ku clue apa-apa selain kata-kata itu.

Sept 18, 2016.

Aku bangun pagi hari itu. Packing barang-barang dan memasukkan ke dalam koper. Aku akan flight untuk kembali ke kota tempatku bekerja siang harinya. Papa duduk didekatku mengelus pelan rambutku serta mencubit pipiku. Aku pura-pura marah dan ngambek. Dan dia berkata “Gadis kecilku sudah dewasa sekarang. Ia sudah bisa menjaga diri dengan baik. Bahkan tanpa bantuanku, dia telah berhasil melawan dunia.” Aku tersenyum waktu itu. Siapa yang menyangka itu akan menjadi kata perpisahan kita yang terakhir?

Sept 20, 2016.

Aku baru menyelesaikan pekerjaan di kantor dan bersiap untuk pulang. Di perjalanan pulang aku mendapat telepon dari nomor Paman. “Papa mu sudah tidak bernafas lagi.” Berita yang seketika membuat dadaku sesak dan duniaku menjadi gelap. I can’t say, even a word. Seketika itu juga tangan dan kakiku dingin. Aku tidak dapat merasakan denyut nadiku sendiri. Aku merasa langit runtuh seketika itu juga, gelap, kelam.

Heartbreak? Pain? Entahlah. Aku hanya merasa mati saat itu. I can’t speak, I can’t cry, I don’t feel anything. Rasanya benar-benar seperti tidak bernyawa untuk sejenak. Satu malam.

Sept 21, 2016.

Pagi hari aku langsung menuju ke Bandara. Mencari tiket dengan jam terbang paling pagi. Namun ternyata hanya ada tiket available dengan jam penerbangan siang. Jadi aku mengambil penerbangan itu. Butuh satu kali transit untuk sampai ke Medan. Aku transit di kota Surabaya. Tapi, ketika tiba di kota Surabaya, penerbangan dari Surabaya ke Medan sudah tidak ada lagi dikarenakan pesawat yang mebawaku sebelumnya delay. Aku pun tidak dapat memaksakan diri. Even if I insist, there no other flight to Medan that night. Aku pun diharuskan menginap malam itu di Surabaya. Sampai di kamar hotel tangisku pecah. Aku marah. Marah karena aku tidak bisa pulang langsung ke Medan hari itu. Aku sedih. Sedih karena aku tidak bisa berada di sisi Papa saat ia mengalami rasa sakit. Aku kecewa. Kecewa pada diriku sendiri. Kecewa pada keputusan yang sudah ku buat. I feel lost. Aku menangis hingga aku tak mampu lagi menangis. Aku merasa seluruh badanku mengigil dan gemetar. Satu malam.

Sept 22, 2016.

Aku tiba di Medan jam 10 pagi.

Papa akan dimakamkan pada jam 12 siang.

Hanya tersisa waktu dua jam bagiku.

Aku memandangi wajah Papa. Hanya sekitar 15 menit. Aku tak sanggup. Lututku lemas.

Aku terduduk di sisi peti jenazah Papa. “Pa, maaf. Maaf karena aku tidak ada di sisi Papa malam itu. Maaf karena aku tidak menelpon Papa malam itu. Aku seharusnya menelpon Papa setiap waktu dan memastikan tidak terjadi apa-apa. Maaf. Aku belum sempat membelikan Papa sepeda motor baru yang sangat Papa idamkan. Aku belum sempat membawa Papa jalan-jalan keliling Indonesia seperti janjiku dulu. Aku belum menjadi anak gadis kuat yang mampu tidak menangis saat di sakiti oleh kejamnya takdir. Maaf, Pa. Seharusnya kita punya waktu lebih banyak berdua. Seharusnya kita sering bersepeda bersama keliling kota di sore hari. Seharusnya kita sering makan bersama di warung dekat rumah. Seharusnya . . . seharusnya . . . .Seharusnya kita baik-baik saja. Seharusnya aku tidak meninggalkan Papa.”

Aku bersujud di depan peti jenazah. Untuk terakhir kalinya.

Itulah patah hati ku yang paling menyakitkan. Leaving big hole in my life.

Setelah waktu-waktu itu, aku berusaha mengalihkan duniaku. Aku tak ingin berpikir tentang rasa sakit dan patah hati lagi. Aku mencoba menyibukkan diri. I travel, I work and buy every stuff I want. But you know what? Semua hal itu tidak mampu menutup rasa kehilangan. I still feel empty inside myself. Satu-satunya penyembuh luka? Waktu. Let the time passed.

Day by day, I get better.

Aku tidak berkata bahwa lukanya sudah sembuh sempurna.

No. that wounds will never leave your heart.

Luka yang ditimbulkan akibat kehilangan mungkin bisa berkurang seiring waktu berlalu. Tapi tidak akan pernah bisa sembuh.
