A BROTP I have with said character: KURURU AND SABURO/MUTSUMI BESTIES FOREVER. THEYRESO!!!! Evreyone watch Keroro Gunso Episode 229. i just think theyre neat they dont really interact much bc saburo doesnt... show up? very much? and also theyre both Loner Types they dont do a lot of Hanging Out. but theyre literal #besties and they would be even if they WERENT also kind of each others only friends. they Get each other. its fun.

Gender Headcanon: listen to me dororo is a trans guy and i mean earth kind of guy. i mean he explains it to the others by going "you know, like fuyuki". i mean binary by human standards nonbinary by keronian standards. i mean wouldnt it be really fucking funny if you knew you were trans (as a kid he went to garuru for advice on transgenderism bc garuru is also trans but thats lore-from-my-brain for another day) but for your entire life couldnt really place any definition that sounds right and then you go to an entire different planet and hang out with people there and go ok. question. your genders. can i have one

A BROTP I have with said character: DORORO AND KOYUKI AUTISM FATHER DAUGHTER DUO FOREVER. THEYRE SO!!!!!!!!!!!! i said "theyre so" about saburo and kururu too didnt i. theyre just all so. literally all of their interactions are so sweet!!! and adorable!!!! hes so protective of her!! and nice!! shes the only person who never Forgets He Even Exists. theyr eiguuguguuagagagauauagagh. shout out to the end of the koyunatsu first date episode when hes like "dont worry koyuki i stayed home the entire time like you asked" amd also shout out to every other time hes her nice dad.

A NOTP I have with said character: kerodoro. no offense but that would not work ever. you get it.

A random headcanon: this is more theory ground than headcanon, tbh, on account of i am drawing from canon evidence. i think he is on good terms with his little brother. ok look heres how it is. we know dororo has a little brother but we know next to nothing about that brother or their relationship. one of the things we DO know is one of the many things-belonging-to-dororo that keroro broke as a kid and never told him about, dororo blamed on his little brother and was really pissed at him about it. yeah this happened when he was like, nine, but hes dororo hes. well he is consistently not even remotely a person who moves on from things just bc they were kids. besides when he confronts keroro about That Particular Shit-Getting-Broken Incident he specifically brings up how he got mad at his brother & his mom like it was A Big Deal With A Lasting Effect. BUT in ep 183 he sees giroro & garuru interacting and is just like yay! its nice to have brothers isnt it! and reasonably hes just at Cameo levels of appearing in that episode so its not like hed be doing much or getting much dialogue anyway but still, hes dororo, if he was still actively broken up about anything to do with his brother hed have more to say than just Brothers are good! So with my expert detective skills I have come to the conclusion that Dororo had some Not Insubstantial issues with his brother but its all good now. hi this is so long <3 im normal <3 mine yoshizaki PLEASE for the love of GOD drop the dororos little brother lore id do ANYTHING. WHATS HE LIKE. SHOW THEM INTERACTING JUST ONCE. OR TWICE. OR MORE THAN THAT

ok so basically i think assigning a gender binary to original nonhumans is very weird. like if youre making a character based off an already existing species with sexual dimorphism sure!! obviously im not going to side-eye like. furry comics where the clear intent is to just have humanoid animals especially when the animal also has a vague sex binary like humans do (i say vague because, well, exceptions exist very often)

but when it comes to say.. endermen. or making an alien species. or even just an original species thats not just like. a bird combined with something or whatever. i think its very boring to just give them a male/female binary anyways. and i know theres still nonbinary characters in stories like this, but i mean like.. if youre making characters that arent supposed to be human, why emulate humanity? i could understand maybe if they were made to mimic humanity, or if theyre a minority in their vague sex binary, but ive seen many stories and art etc etc where the standard is clearly. male and female binary and the occasional nonbinary character

but. nature isnt really like that. sure in many species because of how sexual reproduction works theres the sex that carries and the sex that inseminates but theres also animals whose sex changes, or you could be creative and base the species off plants, or just make them able to both carry and inseminate, or even just explore asexual reproduction

and its only even more pushed with, well, exploring queer narratives with nonhumans. this isnt to say i dont enjoy them, i definitely do, but i feel like theres much more exciting ways to explore queer narratives with nonhumans that. isnt just like, oh they have Our gender system, or oh theyre just like us but different terms, or oh they Dont have gender but then they find out about Human genders and experiment!! i do have a slight bias with that last one though because i do think its one of the least explored in actual potential just that. in most cases its a little boring. give some spice to how robots would explore the gender binary rather than just giving them the appearance of a male or female and having them be vaguely clueless about gender. explore how humans would force the gender binary on them instead of just giving each a blank state explore how humans will inevitably force our gender system onto nonhuman creatures

and in fact, that last bit is Why i think i never connect easily to like.. say, endermen but they have a gender binary even though ingame you literally cannot tell the difference between any of them. its really just. humans will often assume gender even onto species that just would not experience gender like us. even trans creators will often do this, and i get it, like. the easiest way to tell the reader what gender a character is is by giving them human gender traits, like top surgery for a character belonging to a species that. doesnt have tits. or tits on a transfem character, uh. again, on a character belonging to a species that wouldnt have tits (yes this is vaguely about binary trans cranboo/oranboo depictions not to say i dont like those headcanons but it does make me tilt my head a little to like. think about the implications of endermen having binary sexes. why would they)

but.. i dont know. as a nonbinary person who connects a lot to nonhuman narratives i guess its disheartening. it also feels like, i dont want to say white centered or like a western ideal, because that would be inaccurate and i dont want anyone to imply that those could be driving reasons, but. it can sometimes feel like a passing over of the complex gender systems in various human cultures as well

i dunno. nature is very very varied in gender/sex presentation and not even just in animals. why limit your nonhuman species to how human sexes and genders work (and how sexuality works, even). get creative. at the very least if youre going to have gender markers dont make it be the tits humans are like the only species that works like that. come on

which is basically to say why are we giving endermen fucking tits i dont think they even have nipples they might not even be mammals at all i understand projection and all and wanting to show off trans experiences even but like cant we be creative. wouldnt that be nice and fun

Let me just start by saying this, the companions will absolutely do their best to fuck their shit up regardless- you’re their friend, in some of their cases, the only friend they truly trust.

Things were going so smoothly.

As per usual, a typical walk down the eastern coast of Boston resulted in stumbling upon some less than savory characters- but that hadn’t been an issue before. Once the two of you had finally stumbled upon mentioned characters, you gave each other a knowing look before engaging in combat.

One thing led to another and somehow they got separated from you, the realization of such causing their breath to hitch- worried eyes scanning all around in hopes of finding you. However they not had to look for very long-

“Yeah that’s it! Fucking tranny, cowering like the little bitch you are.” Somehow, someway..this person got the jump on you. What was to be an easy shot to their head quickly went awry whenever they struck your hand with their tire iron, proceeding to heat you back until your leg swayed from beneath you- your body succumbing to the sheer pain of a few broken bones.

That’s probably why your heart beat several pumps a minute, having had to force yourself backed into a crate wall in attempt to escape.

“Heh, shame. You’re actually kind of cute, for a dude with a pussy, at least.” The sickeningly spat, their fingers fidgeting as they readjusted the grip on their weapon- raising it, about to swing...until-

Dogmeat:

As though it wasn’t bad enough that the person his precious sole was fighting with was being aggressive, they were also saying these weird things too? Oh hell no. As soon aa the German Shepherd got a good shot, he’d leap above your trembling form and a silently wreck shop on their ass. Teeth to tits.

“Hey you fucking cunt, hope you like swallowing teeth!”

She wouldn’t even hesitate to use her own fists. It would probably hurt her too, but she didn’t care. True to her words, she’d make them suffer- busting their nose and knocking their teeth out before finally settling for gouging their eyes.

Curie:

“You say very mean things, at least you won’t be able to anymore...”

Being so dainty and lithe definitely had its perks. While that asshat was spewing their venomous monologue, she was able to sneak up behind them- plunging a syringe full of poison into their jugular.

How could they be so mean to you?

Danse:

“That’s quite enough.”

Danse usually wouldn’t ever resort to using such..brutal measures. However between feeling the sting of their words and seeing how they were able to beat you so badly....Danse grabbed ahold of their head and simply lifted up. The strength of his power armour suit allowing him to successfully “pop” it off.

Deacon:

“Sucks for them.”

Deacon would use their talking as an opportunity. Sneaking up behind them, he’d plunge his knife right into their back- twisting it for good measure as they screamed in agony. It was a bit underhanded, but shit, it worked.

As soon as he was able to get you to medical help, he’d be there to try to make you feel better about the ridiculous things that person said.

Gage:

“Dumbass, didn’t even know who he was talking too. Oh well, come on boss..let’s go get ourselves cleaned up.”

He. Would. Not. Hesitate. To. Blow. Their. Fucking. Head. Off.

Hancock:

“You, oh you’re coming with me..”

Having chems on hand usually meant Hancock was always ready for a good time..however right now it meant he was stocked up to perform a quick little “kidnapping”. Once he gage you a stimpack and was sure you’d be alright, he’d option for the two of you to go to Goodneighbor- dragging the insufferable, unconscious dickhead with you the entire way.

Once there, it was all a matter of waiting. Who knows? Maybe they’ll be missing a tongue, or a toe when they wake up. Either way, it’ll be a fun experience.

Macready:

“What a buttface..”

They didn’t know it, but it was a horrible decision to turn your back on a sniper. Mere seconds went by before Mac’s bullet flew through their skull, painting you in the viscera of their demise. A little bit afterwards, Mac would come strolling along with his trusty rifle at side. Then he’d kneel down in front of you, a small smile on his face when you thanked him.

Maxson:

“You’re in no position to say such disrespectful things..Mercy isn’t something I usually consider, but for you- it’s entirely out of the question.”

Arthur almost never got involved with the commonwealth missions, but this time he was glad he had.

As they were saying their indecent words, he grabbed the hand they intended to wing with- pulling it back and twisting it around their back, pulling one good time causing them to yell out in pain. Just when they were going to swing toward him, they were promptly met with the business end of his combat knife- slicing into their forehead from the force of which they turned.

Nick:

“Some people just have no redemption..Do they?”

The old detective would merely cast his gaze at their now twitching corpse, having shoot them point blank in the back of their head. He’d just scoff, kicking their body aside as he tentatively looked you over- deciding the next best course of action was to jab a stimpack in you.

Old Longfellow:

“Dontcha dare listen to them kiddo, son of a bitch probably didn’t have a piece of brain left anyway- now let’s go get you patched up.”

It took only five point two seconds for him to choke the unsuspecting raider, having pulled back their tire iron and thrusted it against their throat, holding it their until they no longer breathed. Once done with his rather violent display, he simply shrugged and offered you his hand.

Piper:

“Wow, what a dick..”

She’d have no words! None. She’s seen some terrible people, but boy, the world just never ceases to supply a worse bunch, does it? Regardless of her eternal thoughts, she’d just shake her head before shooting them in their ass, then their face when they turned around.

Preston:

“Hmph, as if being a raider wasn’t already a shitty enough life decision..”

Their words would enrage him to no return. This ended up resulting in him bashing the butt of his laser musket against their head until they no longer moved. They had no right to cast down such terrible judgement. No one does.

Skinny Malone:

“Don’t worry now, bastard got what was coming to ‘im.”

Yours crazy if don’t think wherever Skinny goes, his gang is close behind. At the very first sign of trouble, they came out of their shadowing spots and unleashed hell in the form of several rounds of ammunition. When all was said in done, the asshole that spoke such means words to you closely resembled Swiss cheese. After the whole ordeal, Skinny would take you back to his headquarters and let you drink to your hearts content- reassuring you that you shouldn’t let people like that make you feel any less of your self.

Sturges:

“Listen, I know you raider kind aren’t the smartest but..that’s just stupid. Even for your standards I presume.”

Truthfully..he was scared as hell going up against the raiders but! He owed it to you. So he rolled up his sleeves and stormed right in up to the bastard looking over you, hitting them upside the head with an old wooden board he thankfully found.

X6-88:

“Let’s go..I believe we’re both entitled to drink after this.”

He made quick, precise work of the perpetrator. Gone and done before your eyes could even process it. Had he not been right in front of you, offering you his hand, likely wouldn’t have even thought he had killed them at all- instead perhaps thinking it was some invisible force instead.

I ran into an issue where homework is a trigger for a trauma stuck young part. At first I thought my adhd was just acting up bc I would bc i would very restless and focus would be terrible when attempting hw. But on closer examination of the situation I realized it was anxiety. So I took a look inward and found a part that is just stuck at my childhood kitchen table. Either receiving or waiting to recieve punishment bc they didn't complete homework well enough or in the right way. At least not to my mothers standards. They are panicked and overwhelmed. I tried letting this part know that we arent their anymore. That she isn't here anymore. That its ok to do homework in a way that best suits us now and no one is going to get mad. But its like this part can't listen. They are stuck there and I also think they are the reason why I keep having the floating expectations of my teachers being angry with me.

I tried telling my therapist about this issue. She told me that she lacks experience with these things. She kept asking me questions about the situation that I didn't have the answer to. Like how to get the part unstuck. I told her I didn't know and if I did I wouldn't be asking a therapist. She asked me if they ever got unstuck. I said they never did yet for me but yes that is typically a goal in treatment. And other questions that made me uncomfortable. We then focused on things for grounding. I told her about my idea of using a pencil board I recently got with media that the part would know of as a visual queue for them to relax. Its a media ive liked since I was about 7 and I've always been generally safe when watching it so I thought it might help them feel more secure. Its also the media that Sil is from so I thought maybe it would act as a positive trigger for him to be around since he is so good at comforting and regulating functions. My therapist explored various reasons why this media was important to me which it has many. Successful character with alcoholic mother, minor trans character, Canon gay character, feminine male characters, character with did. Granted a lot of this rep was not done well but its the first I saw and all that was on tv back then so I attached to it even if I didn't fully understand why I related. She asked about my favorite parts and then suggested i play my favorite episodes while doing other grounding methods like using a wax melt and chewing gum..Also to my therapists credit tho her questions made me uncomfortable she did thank me for working with her limitations instead and is now personally reaching out to the more well suited therapist to try and get a response.

Today ive tried the suggestion. Ive got the show on the TV. Ive got my pencil board as an immediate visual queue. Using a wax melt. So far so good. Had light issues focusing in the beginning but I think that's more adhd. I was able to do homework for 2 hours and now im taking a break. Sil has been here the whole time. I havent seen the trauma stuck part at all though sil has indicated he's had contact throughout. I think this is just going to be the plan going forward.

(im gonna try my best to make this as readable as possible)

AHHHH OK SO i have a main storyline with my main characters that ive been working on since like 2015ish (yeah i was in like 6th grade theyve changed a lot) and im not gonna give away to to much just bc i plan to make it into an animated series or comic series.

fun fact: the main 5 characters in this story are all based off of characters that me and my best friends made and basically RPed as in elementary school jdjdjdfdjd

so the world these characters live in is the zombie apocalypse but thats not really the main conflict? more of just a main motivation(trying to cure everyone) the main conflict is emotional trauma woohoo and also some villains and stuff

another important detail about the world is the gods/goddesses theres the underlands(basically what would be their hell) and the abovegrounds(basically what people imagine heaven to be) and that they arent immortal and must pass down their powers via a child (could be theirs or could just be some random kiddo they yanked off the earth)

so uhh this is my main girl katie(shes mostly called just kat)

(this is the ref i use when i commission art of her super professional i know) shes basically the leader type character. shes pretty closed off with her traumas and tries not to get super attached to anyone due to the last time she got attached to anyone they all died :) big fun. shes pretty quick to get snappy with someone and has fairly low tolerance for messing around and get mad at herself when she finds that shes enjoying something.

some major points in her backstory:

grew up around her scientist father

when the apocalypse started she found a group of survivors that called themselves the metalheads(both bc they listened to a lot of metal and because they all had different metal attachments to themselves, hints where kat got the ears)

after a zombie ambush every dies and kat is now alone

(since i dont have any recent refs of the others im just gonna refer back to this post ) ---- then we got daisy(first one to the left) shes the bubbly, happy, always tries to see the best in things type. (im big mad that i cant publicly talk about her backstory since its SUPER spoilery and literally one of the main arcs)

she also has like ice/snow powers(shes like...elsa)

while her happy personality is one of her biggest strengths its also one of her flaws, she tries so hard to be happy she doesnt like to deal with her problems and pushes them aside for as long as possible

since the age of about 7 she grew up alone, learning how to be by herself and surviving fairly well until she meets kat not long after the zombie breakout

next imma talk about nate (first to the right)

one of his main struggles is dysphoria(hes trans) and dealing with hiding this fact from his teammates, not knowing how they’ll react

nate has like planty/naturey powers

hes fairly standard with his personality, caring, gets nervous easily, tries to be as brave as possible. one of his main contributions is his smarts and how he can help everyone out of difficult situations

the biggest thing about nate is that his mother is literally mother nature, one of the main goddesses of this world, nate doesnt want to fill that responsibility and runs away to earth

next is inferno(second to the left)

(this character uses both they/them and she/her so imma switch a lot)

inferno is the strong and caring type, they always want the best for everyone and tries her best to solve everyones problems while ignoring her own. theyre almost like the mother of the group? taking care of everyone and telling them “go to bed or ill beat your ass” when she catches nate working on something at 2am.

cant say to much about their backstory since it’s part of her main development arc but she is working towards being a goddess

and last of the main 5 theres aiden(second to the right)

hes the straight big brother, hes the first to learn that nate is trans and instantly super hella supportive, he hangs out with nate even more and theyre easily the closest 2 characters on the team

aiden uses like *whats the word for it im drawing a blank* like he can lift things with his mind (kinda like the force from starwars) due to these metal rings attached near his shoulders

as for where he got these rings(stares at the camera like im on the office) spoilery backstory

----

so then theres match(the orange haired one) and scissors, (the two on the top sides)

theyre robots build and given life by lilac(demon in the center) and these two dont have to much value story wise because theyre kinda comedic relief for a while before they just go off and do their own thing

lilac is one of the characters that i have SO MUCH backstory for but cannot talk about it because of how spoilery it is(which im big mad bc ive spent so much time on her)

but shes basically the main villain of the first seasonish shes cruel and only cares about getting the main cast out of her way so she can obsorb their powers(she wasnt just born a powerful demon she stole pretty much all her powers)

theres a few characters and arcs still in development for now, (wanna make about 3 seasons? first 2 are pretty much done with development and story but season 2 arcs are likely gonna stay hidden) but uhh thats the main gist of my main characters! sorry for the long post sjfdsofjaf

Ok what fuckin sucks even more than that is seeing people give tumblr user ihatecispeople shit JUST for his name being ihatecispeople. Despite the fact his entire blog is full of actual good analysis of transphobic shit cis people have sent him so its pretty clear WHY he's saying "i hate cis people" and he means these ones doing these shit. Its like how literally any damn minority cant say "ugh i hate [majority]" withput clarifying that they menat"i hate the members of this majority that are hurting me and do not hate everyone in the majority because i believe the category they were born as is biologiclly inferior". Even though its CLEARLY APPARANT thats what they goddamn mean, when they say "i hate cis people" DIRECTLY AFTER getting hate mail from a transphobic cis person. Its nuts how cis people (oh im sorry SPECIFICALLY ONLY CERTAIN CIS PEOPLE) will bend over backwards to say that a single trans person stating an unsatisfactarily specific statement equals cisphobia is real. Because that totally equals being hate crimed and societally oppressed by trans people!! Like do they really fuckin think that the only crime transphobes commit is posting privately on a blog somewhere the single sentence "i hate trans people". Which, by the way, is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to saying "i hate cis people" cos they fuckin said it first!! Like i already said, trans people are just saying they hate cis people WHO ARE BEING TRANSPHOBIC TOWARDS THEM AND THREATENING THEIR GODDAMN LIVES while transphobes have no goddamn reason provoking them to hate trans people except, yknow, ACTUALLY HATING US ALL AS A CLASS AND BELIEVIBG WE'RE BIOLOGICALLY WRONG. Like they dont even need to spend all the time we do clarifying our every move, they just get it taken on good faith that it was all a misunderstanding no matter wjat! And again trans people havw to write fuckin huge detailed essays explaining every damn aspect of why the thibg was bigoted in order to get it recognised. And even then tehyre more likely to get hate than get an apology! Its just like no matter what you fuckin do, transphobes are gonna be all "uhhhh i cant be bpthered to do the research/listen to you/remember what you said last time/use basic reading comprehension skills/give you the basic benefit of the doubt as a human being/put in ANY EFFORT AT ALL INTO THIS CONVERSATION", and so many "on the fence" people will just be like "yes this is perfectly okay" while at the same time supporting those transphobes grilling trans people over every damn sentence they ever say.

God its just so fuckin tiring. And thats the point. Its playing dumb to make you too tired to fight back, so you just shut up and let people treat you like shit. My abusive father used to do the same thing, pretending like he ~just didnt know~ that what he was doing was abuse and you had to explain it to him. Over and over in exactly the same way every time. Its clear he never really was "just innocent of why you were upset", he was only faking it to find a way to keep doing it while also getting everybody's sympathy as if he was the one being wronged...
