Nicktober Day 20: Oblina

This is part of a series of drawings where I plan to draw all the playable characters from the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl series.

Oblina is the last of the original twenty characters from the launch of the first game. Overall I'm sort of mixed on her inclusion and how she plays. Having big strong attacks makes her pretty tough to deal with, and the inclusion of a jump cancel on her Down Special with the latest patch makes fighting her even more challenging. I will say I do like how her overall moveset represents her with scares acting as the strongs and a possible reference to the SNES/Genesis game with the Neutral Special shooting garbage projectiles.

Nicktober Day 17: Nigel Thornberry

This is part of a series of drawings where I plan to draw all the playable characters from the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl series.

Nigel Thornberry was quite the pick for a platform fighter, and him being sort of a joke character with goofy moves really fits him. The majority of his moves being animal motions is a cool idea, and the fact they're going more into the Jigglypuff homage by making him light and have multiple jumps in the sequel is even cooler in my eyes. Glad that his redesigned moves for the sequel have a bit more thought put into them than "Aerial Scorpion Sting."
