Vincent caught up on some work with Isaac and Renee came along to get some fresh air! "I'm just heading to the t-toilet..." for a second Renee thought she had peed herself, but it was her waters breaking. "Isaac drive the car over!" Vincent tried to control his breathing. Nothing could prepare him for this sudden panicking; he had to be strong for Renee. He was grateful his brother was there to calm him down and control the situation. The following moments felt like a whirlwind, but they travelled safely to the hospital and welcomed their new bundles of joy!!!

Okay, i see others getting frustrated that Essek, though actively mentioned, didn't show up. And while yes, I can understand the ire, consider this instead:

Essek was hanging out with Kingsley somewhere around Darktow. Kingsley is the new Plank King, and Essek found a lovely safe hiding spot with him and his crew in Darktow. They get along really well - Kingsley reminds Essek a bit of his brother, and it's nice to feel free.

But wait, I can make it funnier. What if both of them get the Donna Noble treatment. What if all of the solstice shit goes down and by the time the rest of the Nein find them they just straight up missed it all.

Nein: "OH MY GOD YOU GUYS ARE OKAY!!!!!"

Essek & Kingsley: "Yeah, we were just finishing our mai tais. Why, what's going on?"

Nein: "HAVE YOU SEEN THE FUCKING MOON IN THE SKY?????? THE SOLSTICE???? THE ALIENS?????"

Essek & Kingsley: "Huh, we haven't seen much around here. It's been all foggy and misty, which has actually been great for us. Kingsley used it as cover to sneak up on some rival ships so we could steal their cargo and....."

I just think it would be fucking hilarious if Essek & Kingsley were as clueless about the Solstice Shenanigans as Donna Noble was about the Cyberman invasion.

Dream is visiting the dream of a little kitten

Dream is visiting a the dreamscape of a little cat and she dreams of what most cats dream of. Warm sun patches and fresh meals. Endless fields of grass that they can run through. She dreams of catching birds and the taste of rainwater. 

She also dreams of her owner. Dream can feel the affection. The love she feels as he watches her dream. Can feel the happiness at hearing her name being called. 

And then. 

Her dream takes proper shape. And he can see the way her dreamscape turns into a mirror of her life. The flat she lives in. The tall pink cat tree in the living room that she likes to climb. Her owner takes shape too. A soft smiling face and whiskey brown eyes. Hair that looks so soft that often Dream wants to reach and touch it. Hob Gadling is talking to the kitten. She doesn’t understand him, of course, but she grows happier the more he talks to her. 

She purrs as he reaches to scratch her chin and stretches long as he picks her up to hold her. She loves him so much and he clearly loves and cares for her in turn. 

Dream watches and feels a warmth deep inside him at how gentle this man he has known so long has become. This man that has fought in numerous wars and fought and clawed his way out (and back into) so much struggle and only ever tells Dream the most notable aspects of his life. He doesn’t get to see these little tender moments. 

The dream changes and Hob is alseep on the sofa. A fire is crackling in the fireplace and the kitten tip toes along his chest and curls up. The softest most beautiful smile spreads on Hob’s face and the kitten gives his chin some little kisses. 

Dream feels his whole body get warmer as he watches. Seeing this soft intimate moment of his friend. He feels longing. He wants to see more of these moments. Wants to live in these moments. See them first hand. He wants to watch Hob curl up on the couch and maybe lay down with him.
