#Killer Croc the hero of children

How Killer Croc somehow became the hero of children
It all started when Croc saved the group of children. It had been a mistake, really.
He just wanted to save his tiny friend Ellie, and the rest was a collaborative saving. Is that even a word?
And before he knew it, it happened again and again in this city. What is wrong with Amity Park?
And worse, the Hero Phantom in public thanked him for being such a hero. And for his help, as he already has problems with the magical enemies, it's good that a new hero helped against the non-magical ones.
Suddenly, he is known as the protector of children, and all the children in the city love him.
Waylon has no idea what to say. People in public praise him and want to take photos with him. And he gets free food and similar.

I think more dc x rottmnt crossovers should exist.
Think of the dynamics, the chaos potential and the stress adult heroes would be under at this group of overpowered teenagers just picking fights with and antagonising dangerous villains left and right. Or just straight up befriending them.

My Silly Audition Article for Screen Rant
Damian Wayne, son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al-Ghul, has come a long way from the disrespectful Robin who shoved past Batman and Alfred on his way into the manor. In his recent appearances, Damian has demonstrated his affinity for the cowl. No longer Talia’s secret child infiltrating Batman’s operations, Damian is now a dedicated and multifaceted, trustworthy member of the Bat-Family.
Damian was once the spiteful Robin who fought Tim Drake in Crime Alley in Fabian Nicieza, Marcus To, Ray McCarthy, Guy Major and Sal Cipriano's Red Robin #14. Now, he is now the trusted babysitter of Lizzie Prince, Wonder Woman’s daughter, in the Trinity Special by Josie Campbell, Belen Ortega, Alejandro Sanchez and Clayton Cowles. He’s the artist and creator of his own comic book in Joshua Williamson, Simone Di Meo, and Steve Wands' Batman and Robin #1. Damian is the only one who stuck with Batman throughout the Gotham War - as far as he could.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin Takes Lizzie On Patrol In Gotham
In the Trinity Special, Damian demonstrates both sides of Batman's weakness for rambunctious children as he lovingly teaches Lizzie to tie her shoes, then takes her on a dangerous mission in Gotham. Helpless to stop Lizzie from joining the fight against Killer Croc, Damian flexes his ‘Batman’ chops by delivering ‘Superhero Lessons.’ The similarity between ‘Robin and Wonder Robin’ and the original dynamic duo is further emphasized by his lessons being entirely ignored. After Damian’s new sidekick kicks Croc hard enough to need medical attention, he brings her home to nap. This is Damian’s first taste of being a mentor.
This isn’t the last time Damian and Lizzie fight crime together. The Trinity Special, which collects and expands on the adventures of Damian, Lizzie, and Jon Kent from #3-5 of Tom King, Daniel Sampere, Tomeu Morey and Clayton Cowles' Wonder Woman, also features scenes from a possible future. In these flash-forwards, Damian is Batman. In a fittingly dramatic version of the Bat-suit, Damian embodies Bruce Wayne’s brooding, dry humor, and versatility as he defeats the trial of Skill on Themyscira. As Goddess Nike declares herself “Victory” and challenges a fully realized Damian, he replies reliably, “and I’m Batman.”
Damian Is Forced To Learn Empathy Quickly
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
DC has been publishing more of their heroes’ home lives in books like Batman and Robin. As Bruce explains to Batman's brutal counterpart, Zur-En-Arrh in Chip Zdarsky, Jorge Jimenez, Tomeu Morey and Clayton Cowles' Batman #140, he is strongest when he is not “just a Batman”. Damian, having trained with assassins first, struggled to develop the conscience and empathy required by Batman to fight in Gotham. In volume 3 of Batman and Robin, both Bruce and Damian develop their empathy and teamwork as they cope with the loss of Alfred and of Wayne Manor.
These experiences demonstrate that Damian is developing the softer skills that make Batman a compassionate hero at a younger age than Bruce was able to. His tactical, detective, and martial arts abilities make him an effective Robin, but the earlier introduction to love and its utility in crime-fighting will give him an edge in being a better Batman. His sibling dynamic with Jon and Lizzie will also give him an edge on the original. With skill, empathy, and plenty of time to develop both, Damian has an edge on the original Batman, and can only get better.

BATMAN AND ROBIN 2023 #1 (Take 6 (yes))
(im not writing this as i go since ive already read the issue before. ill also be mentioning gotham war since this takes place during it (just a warning for spoilers!))
Tumblr media
i just noticed the bat and robin on the cover! so cute
Tumblr media
OH........(just noticed this too) that doesn't look good
Tumblr media Tumblr media
look at them goofing off n having fun
this is cute but the way bruce acts here and in gotham war is so jarring its kinda funny
bruce in batman #137: can't stand my fake ass family
bruce in b&r: me and my son damian 🤗
Tumblr media
bruce is in his "local dilf in the area" era rn
Tumblr media
damian having talia's mannerism that bruce noticed is so <3
and here its confirmed that this takes place during gotham war. not sure how to feel about that
Tumblr media
STILL INSANE OVER THIS baby first self insert fanfic
damian went from drawing hyper realistic gore vent art to anime eyes in the corner
i think it'd be fun if we see damian write more as the story goes on. like him daydreaming n doodling in class
wonder if theres any meaning with damian putting talia as a hero n bruce as a criminal here...or maybe its just a "totally original character do not steal" thing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you dont say bruce 🙄
"the last few years"?? pretty sure the events shown there all happened not even in 2 years since damian turned 14 around the start of the lazarus tournament
also why are alfred n talia not shown there? alfred's death has huge impact on damian (he literally hallucinated him) n talia was there as much as ra's
i dont like how damian looks here but that white connor should be a crime
Tumblr media
"thats enough emotions for tonight father" [slams door]
i wonder why damian is staying with bruce tho (outside of making this book exist) didn't bruce n talia had a custody battle moment™ n damian's like "nah i have my own life (is literally 14)"
Tumblr media
HELL YEAH MY BOY CAN COOK
he's quoting alfred ohhh im gonna sob
this is kinda embarrassing for bruce...like ur son is finally living with you again n he's the one up early cooking?? sir u better step up
Tumblr media
aw he's making tea the way alfred did
*squints* did bruce get his hand back? thats a pretty normal looking hand to me
did damian's comment on it in batman #137 made bruce think "shit i cant give damian any ideas of getting a robot hand" n he just. magically grow it back
Tumblr media
[GLASS SHATTERING SOUND]
gotham...heights? n. not gotham academy? no maps? no damian joining her dnd team?? no detective club finally hanging out with damian??
ik damian got expelled from gotham academy BUT. WHY
Tumblr media
okay? whats the point if he's not going to the same school that his friend went to?
interesting how damian fantasize for a normal life in robin 2021 (with him liking the mundanity of shoujo manga) n now that bruce is offering him that he's rejecting it (or maybe he just rly don't like school which is. fair enough)
wellll just cuz we're not getting maps n the detective club doesn't mean damian's other friends arent showing up right? RIGHT? (maya plz come home)
Tumblr media
THE ROBIN MOBILEEE it looks so ridiculous i love it
HOLD ON. DOES THIS CAR HAVE NO SEAT BELTS?? BRUCE UR LETTING THIS SLIDE?
ik that thing is rly loud too damian waking up the whole neighborhood here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
not rumors abt the batfam fighting getting spread around?? this is so embarrassing omg
am i the only one getting gotham academy flashbacks here? with killer croc n the trio with the fox shark n bird masks
Tumblr media
they're very comfortable with calling eachother father n son while in suits huh. ig everyone in gotham knows that batman is a dilf (who's beefing with his adult children) now
not much to say abt the rest: bruce got shot with something n now bats are attacking him
end thoughts: i hope with all the focus on animals here means that we're getting damian's pets back soon n that gotham war wont affect this book much since i rly want to see damian interact with his siblings again. also is it just me or does the day scenes looks very bright? saturated? it kinda hurts for me to read idk. the night scenes r pretty tho
next issue is damian's first day on his new school that is not gotham academy but im still excited for it! (coping)
bonus bestie corner

@crazysaru99, translated via google;
"Compare that killer monkey to that Yao monkey who wears Crocs"
"And that's also why MK doesn't want to think that his father is THE MONKEY KING because of what he was."
yup!
MK idolizes the hero Monkey King became, not the killer he started out as.
Also its hard for au MK to compare his dear Baba to The Monkey King. Because... imagine;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can imagine a talk occuring at some point in in MK's au childhood when he first reads Journey to the West (or at least the childrens' version) and starts obsessing over the Monkey King. Maybe a classmate or customer asks jokingly if his dad is the Monkey King.
MK: "Dad is so much not like Monkey King! I saw him cry after we watched Monkey Cop 2. I'm pretty sure I've never seen him wear a shoe that wasn't a croc. He can't stomach anything spicier than paprika. That doesn't sound like the tiger-skin-wearing, bandit-killing, heaven-defying Monkey King I know from the stories!" SWK: "Thanks I guess??" Macaque, jokingly: "Heh, what about me champ?" MK, thinking hard: "Yeah, you could totally be the Monkey King in a past life." SWK: "What!? MK: "Bama has a mysterious past, loves rare meat, and he's like... the most powerful monkey I know. He once yelled at a theatre heckler so hard that their eyebrows came off. Total Monkey King energy." Macaque: *laughing his ass off* Tang, Pigsy, and Sandy: *also laughing hysterically* SWK: "I'm a little disappointed you don't see me like that kiddo, but I agree your Bama is the strongest demon I know." Macaque, sits next to SWK: "I will accept my role wholeheartedly." Shadowpeach: *married couple moment* (ɔˆ ³(ˆ⌣ˆc) MK: "Bleh! Mushy romance junk... neither you can be the Monkey King then. He hated that stuff!" ¬_¬
Its like thinking the Margaritaville dad who rides a lawnmower used to be Hercules. Even if "Mr Qi" is a monkey yao, he doesn't really strike the fear into demons hearts like he used to.

Buff Batmom and Dean haven’t seen each other for a long time. Until she hear Dean became a famous ceo billionaire for his amazing tech and engineering skills and started his own company. She was so proud of him. The two reunited again at a gala where Dean was holding a charity for the children hospital where he revealed he’s dating Diana aka Wonder Women. Well aren’t that something. Buff Batmom brother is dating Barry and her former childhood crush is dating Diana. Carol would definitely be friends with Killer Croc or Deadpool.
Oh yeah. Jason and Dick jokingly start a conspiracy that Batmom's family is trying to infiltrate both the heroes and villains and take all of it over and tear it down from the inside.

I completely agree with you on that DC should give back Deathstroke to Dick, Batman already has more than enough iconic villains
Also I was wondering what other villain would you want to be a part of Nightwing's rouge gallery?
Yeah definitely, Deathstroke is one of DC's most popular villains, if they really wanted to push Nightwing as his own Superhero then the least they can do is give him an antagonist as iconic as Deathstroke, it's also completely unfair how Batman got Slade on a sliver platter when they only reason Slade became so popular in the first place is thanks to all the stories of him fighting against Dick/his generation of the Teen Titans.
Aside from that (and this might shook some people), I think the Court of Owls should also be turned into mainly-Nightwing's villains, because really over the years the CoW had more personal connections to Dick than Bruce. From his grandfather being a Talon (they should bring him back as a recurring villain btw) to Dick himself almost being a Talon, to his childhood friend Saiko (he should get a new costume/name and also be a recurring villain) being turned into a Talon by the CoW in Dick's place after he got adopted by Bruce and Haly’s Circus being created by the CoW to secretly train children and the whole "The Gray Son Prophecy" plotline all make the Court of Owls more suitable to be Nightwing's villains than Batman.
Aside from that, I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't read as much solo Nightwing comics as I do to with other characters, so I'm afraid I don't know how much potentials his already-existing villains have, but I did mention Saiko, I like how he’s connected to both Dick and the Court of Owls, but I really want them to give him a more interesting costume because right now he looks like a random goon and maybe flesh out his and Dick’s history even more, like maybe he can be anti-hero/anti-villain that still has a soft spot for Dick from time to time (when he's not trying to hunt him down)
This might sound really vain, but I really think a big reason as to why not many people care about Nightwing's villains is because half the reason why popular villains are popular in the first place is because of their aesthetic alone (Megamind said it himself "the difference between a villain and a super-villain is presentation!") and most of Nightwing's villains look basic, lets be real.
Like I said I don't read that much Nightwing's comics, but to me when it comes to looks alone, I think characters like maybe Flamingo and Tusk should be pushed more as Nightwing’s villains? Mostly because I think their designs and names are far more memorable than any of his other enemies.
We don’t really have any villains in DC that are dressed as a bullfighter nor do we have any (male) villains that have pink as their main theme, so I feel like Falmingo has the potential to be the equivalent to the Riddler in Nightwing’s rouge gallery and Tusk is literally an Elephant-man metahuman? Just recton out his death and make him Nightwing’s Killer Croc (which is funny because I’m sure his good friends with Killer Croc, maybe we can see them teaming-up together?) not to mention that he was the first criminal Dick arrested as Robin and till this day Tusk has a personal grudge against all Robins because of that.
There's also Deathwing who can be his version of Man-bat (a wicked inverse version of the superhero) and honestly? I might not even mind them re-introducing Tarantula as a new anti-hero, as long as she doesn't have anything to do with the former Tarantula or THAT storyline, but she needs to have a proper spider-like costume tho.

Incomplete/incoherent thoughts under cut
Hate whoever that guy Artemis is dating is. Don’t know him don’t care for him. Date Dick or Zatanna.
Lian growing up!!! I lov her.
The way Dick and Kaldur showing up makes Artemis worried....great friendship y’all have there.
The way I said Artemis knew what M’gann was going through and she literally says that this episode.
I loved how they showed depression with minimally animated sildeshow but with a gray tint. Maybe it’s cheesy but it’s effective. When you’re grieving that hard the world and your actions don’t feel whole.
Her looking at Wally and Conner’s memorials. Conner still not having a public memorial despite being an Outsider? huh.
Jade essentially trying to commit suicide by confronting sensei... girl ur not okay get help.
Interesting that the heroes and villains have rules beyond ‘don’t kill our kids’, like don’t follow us from our houses. I wonder what the other rules are.
Cissie and Roy being the ones Arty called. I know logically it’s because they’re on the team and live in Star City but I choose to believe they’re her sidekicks.
I was right mystery assassin is Onyx Adams.
Wow Kassandra...girl you aren’t okay.
I don’t believe Kassandra would let herself get that injured from Killer Croc. And her facial injuries don’t seem like was would happen from a croc bite.
Wait just thought of this... Killer Croc. Crock. Is there something there?
Anyway, is Tara on the team or was she called to help because she was part of the Shadows?
Either way with Artemis, Spoiler, and Blackbat (fuck you DC), the team sure loves poaching children of villains to their side.
We saw Damian AND Jason again! And Sensei invited Jade back. Could it be my theory that she’ll be involved in rescuing Jason will prove correct in a season or so?
Got very little of Cissie and Roy’s dynamic but the slightly antagonistic edge is exactly what I wanted.
I loved seeing the new flashbacks of Jade running away. Her alone on that train. TT--TT baby
Jade running the heck out of there when she thought something was wrong with Lian was high key funny esp. because Sensei and Talia just let her. Jason was ready to Fight tho.
Artemis had a way to contact Jade this entire damn time but never did? Girl, what the hell.
Dick and Kaldur staring at Conner’s memorial while Artemis’s voice over read a passage from Tale of Two Cities. I’m dead. I’ve been slain. Dick and Kal are the only two original original members of the Team left now...and Conner was why they formed the team. I need to see them mourning.

The Rabbit’s Lullaby 1
Reposting the first part to keep better track of it!
Tracking tag for this is #rabbit’s lullaby!
There was a new Rogue in the game and a child, possibly a teenager, at that. This is something that Batman notes with grim acceptance. Not the first time that a child or a teenager has been dragged into the darkness of Gotham and won’t be the last. But this is the first time a sidekick has been shared between two of the Gotham Rogues without a double cross or the death of said Sidekick.
Killer Rabbit, the silent watcher and potentially deadly partner to both Killer Croc and Scarecrow. It honestly baffled Bruce that the two men even had a tentative alliance and all of it centered around one girl, who from what he could gather was at least near Tim’s age. The Little Bunny, as he heard Croc call her on a few occasions, was also a slippery little devil and when one Rogue was captured she would pop up again weeks later with the other Rogue, or in company of one of the Sirens. And despite her deadly knowledge of weaponry and tactics...Rabbit has never killed anyone. She has had a chance to kill Red Robin and Batgirl on more than one occasion and simply knocks them out or leaves them tied up. The girl even has enough experience to give Robin a hard time before she runs off after temporarily incapacitating him.
There was also the fact that he has never heard the girl speak. She was always silent and would ‘talk’ in ASL to Croc or Crane, but only sparingly. Rabbit was a lot like his daughter Cass when it came to speaking her mind with only her body language. And from what Bruce could tell from security footage and has seen in battle, Rabbit is rather sassy for such a tiny and silent person.
And despite the company the girl keeps and the actions of those around her, Rabbit still holds an air of innocence about her and a sunshine quality similar to Cass. If what Tim and Steph tells him is true, she also has vigilante tendencies despite being a Rogue. Saving people from muggers, helping lost children and the like.
Now if only he could find Concrete evidence that Rabbite existed outside of her villain name!

Oh.
The french melody swept softly almost hauntingly through the abandoned sewer tunnels that made up Croc’s newest lair. The melody was accompanied by the soft dripping of water from the pipes above and the scrape of metal being sharpened. The singer being a tiny French/Chinese girl, in a porcelain rabbit mask and clothes that had seen better days, slowly and methodically sharpening her scythes as her large protector slumbered close by in his large nest of blankets and rags.
She had no memory outside of her age and name. She could only recall that she needed to run and hide, even though her instincts screamed at her to stand and fight. So, with her protectors’ help, Marinette became Killer Rabbit. After all it was easier to hide in plain sight when no one, not even you, knew your past. And Rabbit would always protect and serve her protectors, because they were the ones who saved Rabbit and created her. The heroes may think of her as soft, nice and innocent..and they could be right.
A ghost of a smile played on blue tinted lips as Marinette sung. Her voice echoing softly off the stone walls.
But if Rabbit had to...

I’m throwing in my two cents over the Uzaki-Chan non-troversy.
I really thought long and hard over whether I was gonna say something or not but after seeing so many violent threats over one anime character, I’m gonna say it.
First, I personally don’t care about Uzaki-Chan, so before anyone thinks I’m in the position of a fan defending her, I’m not. She looks like the standard low-budget anime character to me so I really have no feelings for the character.
Now that being said, I’ve been seeing a LOT of posts about her. A lot of negative posts. And what I’ve realized is that people REALLY haven’t learned their lesson when it comes to “If you don’t like it, don’t waste energy on it; ignore it and move on.” Because instead of some of you saying, “Uzaki-Chan anime? Hard pass”, some of you are using way too much effort and energy just to say “I don’t like this character”. And now it’s starting to backfire on you guys because you’ve made a problem where none existed.
1. “SHE’S A LITERAL CHILD WITH BOOBS SLAPPED ON!”
No, she is 19 years old, eventually even 20 as the episodes are progressing. A fictional character WHO IS AN ADULT with big boobs isn’t hurting anyone, but your infantilization of traits you perceive to be for children only, is. I don’t give a shit if the character has big eyes, or a short body, or a high pitched voice: If the canon of the show/game/movie/WHATEVER establishes the character as an adult, THEY’RE AN ADULT. Remember Baby Doll from Batman: TAS?
Tumblr media
She’s a 30 year old woman who, at a later part of the show, possibly had romantic feelings for Killer Croc. But by your guys’ standards she’d be a 5 or 6 year old little girl, even though that flies in the face of her whole character.
2. “I DON’T LIKE THE SHOW OR THE CHARACTER!”
AND THAT’S OKAY. YOU DON’T HAVE TO. I DON’T LIKE THE CHARACTER OR THE SHOW EITHER, SO WE’RE ON THE SAME LEVEL HERE. But when you start screaming death threats at everyone because you don’t like her or the show, do you know what you’re doing? Free advertisement. Your aggressive response isn’t gonna cow around or shame anyone who was going to watch the show, you’re just gonna get, “Fuck you, I’m gonna watch it now and draw the character more.” This same exact shit happened with Nessa from Pokemon where people started a controversy WHERE THERE WAS NONE. That’s how you guys got white Nessa, because it was your own fault. Uzaki-Chan probably would have faded into a niche obscurity if you guys hadn’t thrown a temper tantrum, and now you have to deal with it. And so help me, you guys are the exact same reason why I’m forced to keep seeing recommended videos by professional non-troversy reporter Hero Hei in my feed all the damn time.
3. “I’m gonna draw her BETTER.”
Okay no. Major red flag right there for me. You wanna redraw the character? That’s totally fine. You wanna redraw her because she’ll be, in your own words, “better”? I don’t like the implications of that. “She’ll be more adult-like when she’s not 4′11 with tiddies like that″. “She’ll be more acceptable as an adult if her tiddies weren’t that big.”
You all know Dolly Parton, right?
Tumblr media
She’s 5′00. Literally an INCH OFF from Uzaki-Chan’s height, and has the exact same bust. And she’s only known for that because she’s famous, because I guarantee that there’s other women out here who are short with a big chest, and you deeming those features as a child isn’t helping.
TL;DR: Uzaki-Chan’s not a child, she would have just faded into obscurity if you guys just ignored her, and it’s your own fault for the character exploding in popularity the way she did.

The Fall and Rise of Orca: One-Shots
Warning: child trafficking
                                               Under Cut for Length
Keeping Resolutions (With a Little Help) in New Year’s Evil Vol 2 Issue #1: Poison Ivy in“Auld Langs Ivy”
This story followed Poison Ivy as she tried to make an effort to be more people friendly, leading her to the C-List, a bar for lesser regarded supervillains.
Among the crowd inside was Orca, preemptively toasting the new year with Ten-Eyed Man and Scorpiana:

Orca seems to be back hanging out with lesser known rogues again here (something the New Earth version did shortly before her murder). It doesn’t really seem to fit her self loathing, loner persona we’ve seen in other storylines, but whatever.
Ivy soon found several rogues who were having trouble keeping their resolutions: Penguin (who wanted to quit smoking, due to a city-wide restaurant smoking ban that kicked him out of his own club), the Abacus (an underworld accountant, too shy to talk to women) and Orca (who was having trouble with her eating habits):

Hearing all these sob stories prompted Ivy to want to make positive change for them:

As a side note, Orca sitting on that little stool is hilarious to me.
As the clock struck midnight, Ivy used her mind-controlling pheromones to get Penguin to give up smoking, to help Abacus be more confident and to help Orca stick to eating healthy:
Tumblr media
At first, Ivy believed she had helped them (as the pheromones were just a temporary push in the right direction), only to find out her pheromones worked a little too well in the case of Abacus, who turned out to be just as much of a creep as she thought. This lead to her causing a dead Christmas tree to tear him to pieces, reviving itself as Ivy finally felt she had helped someone (the tree).
Summery Thoughts: This story’s just okay. I do feel like writer Jim Krieg might’ve been making a fat joke at Orca’s expense, but it thankfully doesn’t go as far as it could’ve. It’s interesting to see Ivy’s mind control used for a good cause and it’s nice to see some of the lesser known rogues doing something other than being cannon fodder for once. Though they’re definitely going to need a new accountant.
High Seas Heroics in DC: The Doomed and The Damned Vol 1 Issue #1: Orphan and Orca in “The Hunt”
At the East Docks in Gotham Harbor, a cargo ship was bringing in contraband during a heavy rainstorm: weapons and trafficked children. However, the crew were soon accosted by Orphan (Cassandra Cain), who knocked them out and rescued the kids.
Meanwhile, the ship began to rock as Orca arrived on her own mission to deal with the crew on deck and began tearing the ship apart.

Orca is at her scariest here with that gaping maw and using her deadly bite to convey her animal predator nature taking on human predators (something that would go even further with her Injustice 2 counterpart, which I’ll cover next post). Kudos to artist Dominike “Domo” Stanton and colorist Marissa Louise for the creepy visuals.
The remaining crew soon found themselves between a rock and a hard place as Orphan and Orca took them out separately:
Tumblr media
Once they’ve finished the crew off, Orphan confronted Orca, as both explained their motivations for attacking the ship, before deciding to work together to go after any remaining conscious crew members:

Summery Thoughts: This one-shot’s a little better with its brief team-up. There’s some decent narration from an unknown criminal commenting on how the lines between heroes, villains and monsters blur in Gotham City like nowhere else. There’s also good action here, though the story could’ve been slightly longer if Orphan and Orca had met up soon and had more dialogue together. As I said before, the art is the real star here, fitting both the dark aesthetic of the anthology, as well as the fact that the human monsters end up in a horror movie of their own thanks to a couple of Gotham’s vigilante figures. This has been the most recent appearance from Prime Earth Orca, so her future remains unwritten.
Next post, we find the light at the end of a very dark tunnel with Orca and Killer Croc’s love story in the Injustice 2 book.

An alternate reality version of Thomas Wayne appears as the Flashpoint version of Batman. In this continuity, Thomas turns into a crime-fighting vigilante after he and Martha Wayne witness their son Bruce Wayne murdered by a gunman in an alley during a botched mugging. When Barry Allen from the original timeline learns that this universe has a Batman he attempts to elicit his aid in restoring his lost abilities and undoing the changes made to the timeline. When Barry enters the Batcave he expects to find Bruce, but is immediately attacked by this far more violent Caped Crusader, against whom he is no match without his speedster abilities. It's only when Barry calls out the name "Bruce" that Thomas ceases his assault and the two are able to talk. When Barry learns that this timeline's Bruce Wayne was killed as a boy he is able to deduce that the man standing in front of him is Thomas Wayne.[2] Allen reveals to this Batman that the timeline he is living in is an altered version of his own, with significant changes resulting in a much darker and more violent world. Batman asks Barry the details of his son's life after his mainstream counterpart's own death. Willing to change history and ready to sacrifice his own life to restore his son's, Batman agrees to help Barry rewrite the timeline, which they believe has been altered by Eobard Thawne (The Reverse Flash), the first step of which is recreating the accident that gave Allen his powers and turned him into The Flash.[3]
This iteration of Batman is the subject of the mini-series Flashpoint: Batman - Knight of Vengeance, written by Brian Azzarello and drawn by Eduardo Risso. This story is set after the first, failed attempt to restore Barry's powers and fills out the backstory of how different this version of Gotham is and how Thomas operates as Batman. Thomas funds his vigilantism through a string of successful casinos, which he also uses to keep an eye on local criminals.[4] These casinos are managed on his behalf by Oswald Cobbelpot as his security chief, while Batman fights crime. Local judge Harvey Dent is distressed when his twin children are kidnapped by the Joker, so he calls in Thomas and James Gordon who we learn is the Chief of Gotham's privatised police force, owned and funded by Wayne. Dent blames Wayne for the kidnapping as it was he who convinced him that privatising the police force was a good idea, and threatens to take both it and his casinos away if his children aren't found.[5] Gordon, who knows Thomas is Batman and is his closest confidant, works the case while Thomas recovers from a fight with Killer Croc in Gotham's sewers. He consults with Selina Kyle, who is paraplegic in this world and fulfills the role of Oracle, and follows a clue to track down where the Joker is holding the children; The long abandoned Wayne Manor. He misleads Thomas and tries to take down Joker himself, but in a shocking twist ends up shooting Dent's daughter who the Joker had disguised to look like herself. When he realises his mistake and tries to help the girl, The Joker appears from behind him and cuts his throat. This is when we learn that this Joker is none other than Martha Wayne, driven insane by grief following Bruce's murder. Thomas cannot bring himself to kill her due to their past relationship, and so he feels responsible for the Joker's crimes.[6] When he shows up as Batman, having learned of Gordon's plan from Selina, Gordon is already dead, but both children are still alive, the girl just about holding on. While trying to save them, he is attacked by Martha, and we see through flashbacks how her sanity slipped away following their Son's death, and how she blames Thomas and wants to punish him for failing to save him. During their fight Thomas explains to her that he has the chance to re-write history, to save their son but at the cost of both their lives, which is why he feels obligated to ask her if he should go through with it. This revelation seemingly restores Martha's sanity and she makes him promise that he will, and they share a moment as a couple again. But when Martha asks what their son becomes after their counterparts' deaths and Thomas reveals that he becomes that world's Batman, Martha hysterically flees from him, and falls to her death through the same hole that their son once fell into as a child.[7]
After a second attempt successfully restores Barry's powers, Wayne works with the Flash to rally a team to oppose Eobard Thawne's changes to history. He contacts Cyborg for help in tracking down the government's secret "Project: Superman" location, only to be disappointed at Kal-El's frail appearance, having been held in a secret bunker his whole life with no access to the yellow sunlight that grants him his powers. It's only after they free him from captivity that Kal-El's powers manifest after being exposed to sunlight and he flies away.[8] After escaping Project Superman with the help of Element Woman, the Flash's memories change more drastically, forcing Batman to attempt to prevent the speedster's memories from altering. Batman injects the Flash with a drug that slows down electrical activity in the brain. After Hal Jordan's death during an attempt to stop the World War between the Amazonians and Atlanteans, the Flash elects to try to save this altered world, so Batman joins the Flash as the group heads to New Themyscira in Batman's plane and are joined by Enchantress. During the final battle with both Wonder Woman and Aquaman, the battle seems to be in their team's favor until Billy Batson is killed and Eobard finally appears.[9] Batman stabs Professor Zoom in the back using an Amazonian sword and learns that altered timeline was actually created by the Flash as part of an attempt to save his mother, Nora Allen. Before acting on this new information, Batman is fatally wounded by the traitorous Enchantress. Before the Flash leaves to try and restore the old world, a dying Batman thanks him, and entrusts him with a letter to give to his son, expressing his confidence that Barry will recreate the better world the Flash has spoken of and sharing his regret for what will happen to Nora as a consequence. Despite Pandora's actions preventing The Flash's from being able to recreate the Pre-Flashpoint timeline perfectly, Thomas’s will is done as his son is alive as Batman in this New Alternate Timeline. Barry gives Thomas's letter to Bruce Wayne and tells him that the timeline could not have been restored without Thomas's help.[10]
Thomas's letter tells Bruce that the loss he suffered has corrupted him, that he is consumed by his past and is neither a Hero or even a good man. He credits those qualities to Barry Allen, due to his ability to move past his own loss and find hope and love again, hinting perhaps that he hopes Bruce can do the same.[11]
ConvergenceEdit
Main article: Convergence (comics)
In the Convergence crossover, when the alternate Brainiac miniaturized the reality of the Flashpoint universe, Thomas Wayne had returned alongside Captain Thunder, Kal-El, Abin Sur and Cyborg. Thomas prepares for war against the Pre-Flashpoint Gotham City. He ponders if this Gotham City belongs to the same world that both Flash comes from and where Bruce is alive. Thomas also mentioned that he is unsure of his being "dead" in battle and forced to fight their opposite Superman by the voice of Telos.[12] While he watched digital renderings in the Batcave of the Pre-Flashpoint heroes against Superman, he was confronted by Kal-El asking to help the other-reality Lois Lane's pregnancy and convinces him that the other-reality heroes are not enemies. Superman arrives and pulls his counterpart elsewhere. Thomas is willing to help and successfully helps Lois give birth to their son. While leaving them content, Thomas then tells Superman that he has to protect the newborn child to which Superman agrees.[13] Following the conclusion of the Convergence, all parallel universes and alternate timelines are restored and composed as the new multiverse, including the Flashpoint reality and thus Thomas remain exist as the result.[14]
DC Rebirth - DeathEdit
Thomas Wayne behind the corpses of his wife Martha and son Bruce Wayne (left) and alongside his son Bruce (right). Cover of Batman #22 (2017); art by Jason Fabok & Tim Sale.
Subsequently, in DC Rebirth, Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) is mentioned by Wally West in the Batcave from the Speed Force to tell Batman (Bruce Wayne) about Thomas's letter saying how it all started and warned the Flash before the Speed Force pulled Wally away. Before Batman specified, he discovered a mysterious button embedded to the Batcave wall and pryes the button out.[15] Later, Batman and the Flash agree to keep their investigation to themselves until they knew who or what against an impending threat after the evidence of the button from outside force.[16]
While Batman (Bruce Wayne) was still puzzled about the button, its reaction to Psycho-Pirate's mask summons the Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne); his son slowly reaches out a hand to him, only for the Flashpoint Batman to vanish as Batman makes contact. Batman contacted the Flash about the button, but Eobard Thawne attacks Batman in the Batcave while Flash is busy. Thawne nearly kills Batman and destroys Thomas's letter as revenge for Thomas killing Thawne, provoking Batman to try and attack only to be outpaced by Thawne's speed. When Thawne picks up the button, Thawne is briefly teleported away, returning with his entire body mutilated by an impending threat that he vaguely identifies as "God" before he seemingly dies.[17]
After traveling on the Cosmic Treadmill, the Flash and Batman find themselves in the presence of Batman's Flashpoint "counterpart".[18] Prior to their arrival and after the Flash left to undo the events of Flashpoint, Thomas found that the Flashpoint timeline was not erased yet as the Flash intended, and instead was forced to live out the remainder of Aquaman and Wonder Woman's war. Left to ponder in the Batcave, Thomas waited for the joint Atlantean and Amazonian hit squad to arrive so he may sacrifice himself and them with explosives, until he encounters the Flash and Batman. He believes the two are hallucinations until the Flash briefs him on their situation.
Thomas teams up with his son to hold off the Atlantean-Amazonian hit squad to give the Flash time to fix the Cosmic Treadmill. The two Batmen reminisce about their first visit to the cave, and Thomas learns from Batman that he has a grandson. As soon as the Flash finished the repairs, Batman pleads with Thomas to come with him. Despite his desire to be with his son again, Thomas pushes Batman onto the Cosmic Treadmill, imploring the latter to find happiness and be the father to his son that Thomas could never be for him, and to let 'the Batman' die with him. As the Flash and Batman disappear, Thomas is satisfied upon seeing his son alive and accepts his fate; he hopes that Bruce would move on from the past. He throws his explosive trigger away and puts his cowl back on, reminiscing about the inspiring words he gave to Bruce as a child, and jumping into the white void that is erasing the Flashpoint universe with his last words being "We rise".[19]
His Return and Plot for DespairEdit
Despite this, Thomas is later revealed to have survived the attack, appearing in the main timeline in an alliance with Bane; he was first shown appearing alongside the other villains in Arkham Asylum after the failed wedding between Catwoman and his son.[20] His stated goal was to break his son's will as Batman, through methods such as psychically convincing Catwoman to end her relationship with Bruce, so that Bruce would abandon his life as Batman as Thomas wished. Once he judged Bruce to be suitably psychologically broken, he broke into the Batcave, knocked out Alfred, and trapped his son in a nightmarish sequence in Arkham Asylum. Once Bruce escaped, Thomas met him directly with the offer of restoring Martha to life so that they could be a family again, but Bruce rejected this offer, proclaiming that his father failed to understand that his goal as Batman was to hope for the future.[21] Returning to Gotham after apparently defeating his son, Thomas set out to reconstruct the city in his image, using the Psycho-Pirate to convert the city's villains into his enforcers, but Alfred- who Thomas had left mentally free but imprisoned at Wayne Manor as an apparent hostage to prevent retaliation from Batman's allies- informed Thomas that his son was going to destroy him when he finally returned to Gotham.[22] Thomas maintains control using Gotham Girl as his enforcer and the Psycho-Pirate to moderate the villains, issuing orders that any heroes entering Gotham will be expelled while villains would be contained, to the point that Gotham Girl is able to defeat Captain Atom when he tries to confront her.[23]

Okay, so I've been working a lot recently on my version of the DCU, particularly the Batman side of it, so quick recap on stuff I did to a variety of the villains:
I lengthened out Harvey Dent's fall from grace extensively, and filled in a lot of the gaps: in most versions I've read (which... isn't many, I'm not that well-versed in Two-Face lore) there's a gap between his introduction and him getting acided, but after said aciding he almost immediately goes to the robbing the Second National Bank on 2nd Street at 2nd Avenue thing, and honestly I think there's way more opportunities with a slowly corrupting man in the role of District Attorney.
Scarecrow doesn't have Fear Toxin at all. He keeps trying to get it, but the ingredients for it are really hard to get so it's only deployed in the extremely rare circumstances that Crane has both all the ingredients and time to make it. What that means is that most of Batman and Scarecrow's fights are elaborate games of theatricality and deception, to steal from Nolan, Scarecrow trying to hide which component of the toxin he's after from Batman and both of them trying to scare the other into giving something away.
There are two distinct versions of Poison Ivy - the first is a femme fatale who uses pheromones to seduce and then kill people and who is regarded as a mentally unstable ecoterrorist, with no-one believing her claims of being an Avatar of the Green. The second is literally Gaia's Vengeance, a supernatural being that is almost completely detached from humanity aside from a few morals and an attachment to Harleen Quinzel as the only doctor to not see her talk of the Green as the core of her problems. The two are sharply divided by that arc from Alan Moore's Swamp Thing when Alec goes to Gotham and beats the shit out of Batman, during which he dropped in on Arkham and taught Ivy everything about this connection to the Green that she couldn't even express because humanity doesn't have a word for it. Also the second version of Ivy works a lot like Batman's version of Mxyzptlk or Circe - an antagonist that Bruce has no chance against in a straight fight, and so he has to convince her that she should stop her plans without registering himself to her as a threat, because if he does he's screwed.
Speaking of Harley, like with Harvey I've lengthened out her backstory and added one key element: she's Batman's contact inside Arkham Asylum, largely because Arkham is still Arkham and she's one of the only people inside actually interested in helping the people locked up in there. Her fall is long, drawn out, and in no small part exacerbated by the institution of Arkham in general, with the guy who dresses as a giant bat being really the only person who doesn't think she's incompetent because she's got boobs and diagnosed schizophrenia.
Ra's al Ghul, on top of being influenced by my love of all things Assassin's Creed, has a constant problem of changing his nemeses. As he's introduced he's more of an Alfred villain than anything else - the reason he's equal parts obsessed with Bruce joining him and laughably bad at selling joining him to Bruce is because 'Get the Detective to join me' is Step 1 on his master plan of getting revenge on Alfred for killing him back in the 60s or 70s whichever is more Bond, and so he genuinely only sees Bruce as a pawn in his game against Alfred. Eventually he clues in and starts treating Bruce as a worthy adversary, but even then he spend more time bothering Tim because hey, corrupting the proxy son of the guy you're fighting worked brilliantly the last time, didn't it?
It should be noted that whilst Ra's elaborate game of pass the antagonist is going on, there's an shadow war between the League of Assassins, who follow Ra's and wear black robes and hoods, and the Order of Assassins led by Nyssa Raatko who wear white robes and hoods with red sashes and blades beneath their wrists have I spelled out what they're a ripoff of yet. Nyssa incidentally is a mishmash of a load of different versions of her - she's in a relationship with Sara Lance like in the Arrowverse, centuries older than Talia like in Death and the Maidens, violently opposed to Ra's cobtinued use of the Lazarus Pits like in the Arkham Knight DLC, and because she's mainly seen in The Hooded Man (i.e. the Green Arrow thing) there's a lot of Nasir from Robin of Sherwood there too.
You would not believe how hard I had to convince myself to not go with The Batman's version of the Riddler. Frankly it's still up in the air, it could go either way, it's either that or Eddie does a couple of brain-teaser crimes before giving up and going into PI work with Gordon. ...actually, fuck it, both of them, I would kill to have a story with Gordon trying to convince people he's completely trustworthy whilst his partner sounds like Freddy Krueger.
Because there's a lot of vampire villains in Batman stories, I just went 'fuck it' and replaced the Court of Owls with a secret community of vampires. They may still have the owl masks, I think they're kinda cool, but there less 'antagonists' and more one more social ill Batman needs to manage as both Batman and Bruce Wayne.
The Killing Joke is not a thing - whilst Babs does become Oracle, the Joker is not at all responsible for it. He may be responsible for Jason's death, I haven't figured that out yet, but he's by no means the multiple mass murderer DC likes to portray him as - he's a hedonist with a taste for puns, he only occasionally kills people and only when it's funny to do so, he's not a serial killer (ironically explaining it like that goes some way to convincing me why he isn't responsible for Jason's death).
He doesn't technically count as a Batman villain, but I honestly think Deathstroke may be my favourite character to write about in this entire thing, and honestly I love everything about him. The key idea behind this - and one I attribute completely to this post on @davidmann95 - is that Slade, convinced that he lives not in the DCU but rather in something like The Boys or a Youngblood comic, is completely oblivious to how the laws of this world work, and so no matter how physically strong he is he keeps getting dunked on by teenagers because that's his place in this world. But more than that - his conviction that he is the hero of this story leads him to miss that literally everyone in his supporting cast is better than him - his children are better fighters, his ex-wife is a better soldier, the person he thinks is his best friend is secretly manipulating him - because Wintergreen's the real supervillain here, in a twist that has a fascinating backstory both in and out of universe. Slade Wilson's life is one hilarious black comedy piece after another, a comedy he's incapable of seeing - and one that, because he acts like he's in a Mark Millar comic, he's completely deserving of.
And I think that's it? There are a few villains - Hush above all else - that I don't want to touch with a ten-foot pole, and a few that I feel don't really need changing - Freeze and Killer Croc spring to mind. And then there's the ones like Penguin or Bane, who I feel like I'd change but I have no real idea of how to change them yet. Expect a reblog with another block of text once I figure that out.

Assuming someone in the BatFam is the end game:
It's been only a week or so since Tony figured out who Ladybug is
She's captured everyone's hearts, but has to go to Gotham soon
For help, but also because of her internship
The Stark Gala becomes a 'you better live and come back one day, Mari or I STG' party, hosted by Tony Stark, of course
She makes all the outfits of the Starks, her parents, herself, Jagged, Penny, Luka, and Kagami (the last two friends minus Chloe from Paris) and she makes extra in case someone has a wardrobe malfunction
Meanwhile, the Waynes have heard a lot about the newest Stark: MDC
Tim is a fanboy. He's found everything related to his favorite rock star's designer/niece there is to find ("I'm not obsessed! They're just super talented, and I'd like something from them! Stop laughing at me, Dick!")
Dick has no room to tease him, as both him and Jason are pretty much in the same boat
Kor'i and Mar'i love MDC, as well
Every one of the Bats are huge Jagged Stone fans
Like... Nearly rabid
(Damian, Bruce, and Alfred redact that statement)
They're invited to Tony's gala thing (he only started it to surpass the Wayne Gala, like the Lil Shite he is)
The night of the party, only Bruce and Jason go, since the rest of the bats are busy
Bruce, Jagged (who brought Fang), and Tony are all chatting in the middle of the floor, 2/3rds of the group are just talking up Marinette
Jason, meanwhile, accidentally runs into this small, adorable child who proceeds to spill her punch all over his suit
He insists it's fine, but she won't take 'no' for an answer ("I am so sorry, please let me make it up to you" "Kid, it's fine, accidents happen" "No, seriously, let me help")
There's a look in her eyes that insists she do something, and he eventually agrees
Cue to Marinette having a suit jacket that matches and fits Jason because "You look like you're the same build as Mr. Stark (she's all for joining Peter in calling Tony 'Mr. Stark' to get under his skin)"
"you know Tony?"
She shrugs, and doesn't comment anymore on it
"give me your address, and I'll bring this back when it's clean again. I'm moving to Gotham for a while soon, anyway"
He does, she doesn't realize he's a Wayne, and they part when the party ends
Cue the entire BatFam sprinting into Jason's room, chasing after a full on scream
Like, they didn't know Jason's voice could get "so high and squeaky, what the hecc?"
They pause as they see Jason litterally jumping up and down
"What the hell, Todd."
Instead of answering, he shoves the jacket in Tim's face with a shite-eating grin
It takes a moment, but Tim scowls and pulls out his wallet
When the rest of the family only look confused, Tim sighs and explains
"He got an MDC original first."
"...you had a bet on that?"
Jason freezes, eyes widening
"HOLY SH*T, I MET THE MDC! SHE WAS SO TINY, OH MY GOD, BATS, WE HAVE TO ADOPT HER!"
They're confused for a solid minute
"YOU DONT UNDERSTAND SHES AN ANGEL AND HAS BLACK HAIR AND BLUE EYES!! SHE'S OBVIOUSLY A WAYNE!"
It takes all of Bruce's willpower not to adopt her on the spot when she visits them
Like, he almost brings up adoption papers
But he knows Stark would fight tooth and nail to keep this baby
So he restrains himself
(for now)
(he swears if one of his children doesn't marry her, he's bringing the adoption papers to court)
She doesn't stay long, only meeting all the Waynes at the house and going back to her hotel
The next day, a villain goes after Mar'i, near the park/mall/something Marinette is by
Instead of becoming Ladybug, she heccin kicks arse
As Marinette
She gets both her and Mar'i out of danger without a scratch using a yo-yo of all things and meets Batman and Robin as they clean up the rest
She's all like "no, it's alright, I'm sure anyone would do the same please stop thanking me, my family's gonna kick my ass to next year for scaring them like this"
Bats comes up and takes her statement, and she happens to mention the situation in Paris
"oh, this was nothing compared to some of the Akuma I've faced" "What's an akuma?" She paled, eyes widening in shock. "You don't know? About Ladybug, Chat Noir, Ryuuko, Viperion, Queen Bee, Red Wasp, Multimouse, Hawkmoth, Mayura, Carapace, Rena Rouge, and all them?"
She explains a little, giving basic information everyone knew, then shows him the app she made a while ago
The Akuma Alert app that held much more than just akuma-related things
She leaves soon after, and Batman has a goal in mind
Within the day, Diana is furious at the lack of response towards the Paris situation
"This Ladybug was left alone for all this time?! Shame on you all, leaving my mother's successor alone!"
When Ladybug is later spotted (hehe, get it?) in Gotham, the entire BatFam finds her and gets her in touch with the League
She explains how she asked both the League and the Avengers for help, all those years ago, and was pushed aside with warnings not to send in prank calls anymore
Of course, Iron Man has already looked into it, but he's not exactly a detective and the more brains on this, the better
Meanwhile, as civilians...
The normal shipping stuff happens
With the exception that nearly every criminal in Gotham low-key adopts Marinette
They may think she's the next Wayne, but the Angel of Gotham is off limits
And not because the little Wayne chases after anyone who even looks at her wrong with a katana
Not just as Robin. As Damian
Marinette actually meets a few villains on the street
She was going to a commission, carrying some hero, vigilante, and villain themed macaroons when she got lost
(before meeting the Waynes officially, actually)
She was in a park, looking lost when Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn came up
She offered treats, and ever since she's the Angel of Gotham
Once, when on a date with her romantic interest, Killer Croc tried taking the restaurant hostage after robbing a bank
Key word: tried
Marinette calmly slipped behind him, grabbed his tail, and dragged his butt outta there
(he blames the fast French girl and the tile on the floor, which didn't let him get a good grip)
By the time Bats and the police got there, Croc was in tears as this tiny French girl lectured him about manners and interrupting dates
(the BatFam can't think of a funnier time)
When the Joker actually kidnaps her as a way to get to Batman, literally everyone rages a rescue mission
Harley, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze (Marinette reminds him of the daughter he's always wanted, with his frozen wife), Two-Face (Marinette talked philosophy with him, showing him he still had choices beyond the black and white), Killer Crock (who was impressed by the tiny French girl who threw him out of a restaurant by his tail that one time), Batman, Robin, the Teen Titans, Red Hood, Red Robin, Wonder Woman (she could feel Tikki's influence on Marinette and guessed her identity), Nightwing, all the Avengers, Red Wasp (Chloe, with the Bee Miraculous because she earned it back ages ago), Sabine (no one messed with her baby. No one), a teenage boy wielding a potato gun (who let this kid here?), Pepper, Penny (the two women were fast friends, bonding over their husbands' eccentric ways), Jagged with Fang, Audrey Bourgeois, and the entire police force storm the Joker's hideout
He didn't have a chance
Later, they admit it was kinda funny watching the small Sabine beating the crap out of the deranged clown
Fang, who was usually a puppy with scales, didn't hesitate to bite off the Joker's hand, reminiscent of Captain Hook and the Croc
Marinette's fine (or not, depending on how much angst you want in the story. It's easy to have her tourtured and nearly killed in the Joker's clutches {or actually killed and focused on angst from everyone who knew her [possible heavy Lila/class salt]} and see her move past her PTSD) and she gets home eventually
Around this time, she's made the Guardian of the Miraculous
She eventually goes back to Paris with her huge family (or everyone she thinks could keep their emotions in check)
They kick Gabriel's arse, but Adrien gets away with his mother (who was healed by Ladybug)
Possible second book
Marinette's ship becomes the Black Cat
Time skip, fiveish years later, some of Marinette's classmates see her for the first time since she left
They insult and sass her, not changed since school
Her S/O scowls and debunks them easily, defending Marinette
When they don't stop, Marinette's S/O calls Bruce, Tony, Jagged, and the rest of the League and the Avengers to destroy the morons in the class because they know how long they've waited for this moment
Mari puts her head in her hands, but doesn't stop them because she knows how long they've waited for this moment
Three hours later, the speeches and lectures aren't done yet
Lila eventually goes to Gotham or wherever Marinette is, and tries to warn the person on her arm about Marinette's 'bulling tendencies'
That gets another lecture
Or, her class gets a tour at either SI or WE, depending on when in the story you write it (could be both, and the class just doesn't learn or Tony, Pepper, and their kids were visiting WE to talk about Mari Protection Measures when they overhear it)
Lila goes off on how Mari's S/O is actually Lila's, or how she's BFFS with Batman/Iron Man/ Bruce Wayne and his kids/ Tony Stark and his kids/ the Avengers/ the Justice League
Cue the class seeing Mari
Instant bullying
The resident children and billionaire steps up, insulting and embarrassing the class while defending Mari
Lila tries to turn it around, but they're having none of that
First the kids jump at the chance to defend their little sister and/or girlfriend, then the big guns show up
At WE, it's Bruce, a highly protective Jason, and Tim, who has every single sin/mean thing/lie pulled up in a folder
It's thicker than his hand, and hard to hold
It's both in digital and physical form and sent to every single member of Mari's family- blood related or not
At SI, it's Tony and Pepper
FRIDAY steps up, too
Harley shoots Lila with the potato gun mk 3 until she leaves
The class don't know what they did wrong, but they swear to make it up just to get the scary CEOs and relatives
Also, if anyone knows the AU where Marinette was a street kid with Jason and his little sister (I can't remember who made it or what it was called, but I fell in l o v e), that could work with this one too. Jason would be so proud of his Lil sister being so famous and awesome and "how dare you let me think you were dead!! Do you have any idea how worried I was?!" "I made you worried?! You up and nearly got killed last I checked!"
Jason swore not to tell her he actually died once. He prays she never finds out.
