Orca aren't meant to be kept in concrete cages, or concrete jungles - they're meant to be free out in the open. Kohana died Sept 14, 22. I thought it fitting to name my Spanish @orbea Orca M20iLTDin her memory. The sticker on the top tube is actually Kohana - she was known for playing games with her trainers with leaves. I guess when you're trapped, anything can be a toy. Like an Orca, this bike is an absolute weapon! Crazy fast yet still compliant. Kohana cuts through the air and flies up hills unlike any other bike. Another ride full of stunning North Kawartha scenery. I went West this time ... exploring fire roads around Anstruther, Gold and Beaver Lakes. Fresh gravel made some of the roads dicey. After yesterday's rain, everything was saturated and soupy. No KOMs this time around. The water is sooo high ... an entire beach on Anstruther was gone. The fungi seem to like the extra moisture... they've never been so big and colourful before. I could have stayed out all day, but kayaking with my hunny was on the menu for the afternoon.
