Spittle Runner 3D Model From “Nickelodeon All Star Brawl”:

This one didn’t come with a texture file (at least not one that I could use) so I had to colour it all myself using pictures of Spittle Runners and a colour-hex-code-picker-thing.

It’s as close as you can get to a real Spittle Runner in terms of colours, but it’s lacking the Irken Armada Symbol on the top.

Also Spittle Runners look extremely different in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl. The greyish-brown part that the middle section is made of extends across most of the ship’s front, especially in the area underneath the cockpit. It almost resembled armour plating. I found this out by turning on the game, playing as Zim in Zim’s stage with a level 0 CPU and watching the background go by.

This version’s colours are identical to the version we see in the show.

ZIM’S CANONICAL SHOCK SPEAR DESIGN TAKEN FROM NICKELODEON ALL STAR BRAWL:

This isn’t just Zim’s unique shock spear (as all shock spears we see seem to be slightly unique in some way), it’s the most clear picture we have of a shock spear PERIOD.

I couldn’t find a texture file for it in the game’s code, so I had to colour it in myself using a hex-code-colour-finder-thingy and pictures of Zim using his shock spear in game (helping this tremendously is the fact that Nickelodeon All Star Brawl has a “frame by frame” mode that lets you see individual frames at a time).

So first off, I already speculated on Zim’s shock spear in a previous post, and I want to bring up what I got right and what I got wrong. (I will add a link to that post in the morning so tumblr doesn’t eat the post)

First off, Zim’s spear appears to have longer blades than the leftmost spear, but shorter blades than the rightmost spear. That seems to be completely true.

The middle section of Zim’s spear is also still unique. Like I mentioned in my other post, where the other spears have a different material in the middle section that the user is meant to grip while wielding the spear, Zim’s spear instead has a bunch of separate rings made of the same material. These rings are way easier to see up close and yeah. They’re a bunch of separate rings instead of a designated “gripping area”. Zim also doesn’t hold his spear in that normal gripping area, instead holding his spear below that section.

However, one thing I got WRONG is that one orb on Zim’s shock spear is purple instead of the usual red. I found out when going frame by frame that both of the orbs on Zim’s shock spear are red, just like all the other shock spears.

But the most intriguing parts of Zim’s spear are the blue parts near the tip. Because they aren’t just coloured sections of the spear.

They’re unique parts of the spear itself that aren’t present on any other shock spear.

No other shock spear has these coloured parts. They’re unique to Zim’s spear.

And I have no idea what the purpose of these things are. They could be extra power generators to up the power of the shock spear’s blades, they could be something akin to a mace, they could serve no purpose at all (although that’s unlikely because no other shock spear has these things). I can’t say.
