Every Hindu has to answer where they stand on current politics being played out in their name. Silence is no more an option but an answer that you're with the fascist monstrous state since that's the default assumption being made by administration. Feelings of Hindus are hurt when there is an advertisement by a brand showing marriage between a Hindu and Muslim, feelings of Hindus are hurt if someone targets Asaram Bapu or Swami Nityananda who are all convicted criminals, feelings of Hindus get hurt when people in traditional dress are shown without bindis, the list is long. But who are these Hindus? Are you one of them? If not, how can they claim your feelings are hurt? And why are you maintaining this silence that's indicative of your approval? Remember when Shah Rukh Khan is expected to condemn and clarify he does not support Taliban bombing something in Afghanistan? Now Afghanistan doesn't exist in India and nor is Taliban elected by Shah Rukh. But this RSS-BJP govt is elected by you, the thugs on the street are doing it in your name. If tomorrow they were rioting and burning houses in your area, they'll spare your houses. That's what they did in Gujarat and that's what they did in recent Delhi riots. You are part of it and responsible for this mayhem. I'm part of this too. Despite speaking forever against this politics of hate, I'm part of it because I was born a Hindu and this is happening in my name too by virtue of my religion. I have relatives that spew hate and forward bigoted texts on WhatsApp and social media. This is all on us. The more we speak the better. At least eventually we will tell them they don't have the numbers. But given reelection of Adityanath and Modi, I doubt that myself. The Hindus exist only as a reaction to Muslims. They practice and do what would displease Muslims. And they do more and more that which irritates Muslims. They want to play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers because Muslims play Azaan from loudspeakers. They want to wear saffron shawls and gamchas because Muslims wear Hijab and skullcap. Bhagvadgita says God is everywhere but Hindus search their gods and are sure that their gods only exist inside Muslim mosques. It's bizarre religion that only exists as other of Islam. What is its identity by itself? Each God has a hundred temples to himself/herself. Where does the original Ganesha exist or Ram? Is Ram in Ayodhya then what are hundred other temples scattered in every city? What is shiva lingam? Is anything that's an inverted U a shiva linga? Or only those inverted U's that exist inside mosques? What is Hinduism and what kind of a Hindu are you? Are you the kind in whose name Muslims get lynched on street because they allegedly have beef in their refrigerator? The beef that in lab is found out to be simple mutton! Are Hindus in Goa and Kerala and North east who eat beef not Hindus? Does that mean those who wrote Vedas and mentioned themselves eating beef not Hindus? Then why do you say Vedas are Hindu texts? Maybe those are Islamic texts since Muslims eat beef just like writers of Vedas did, what do you say? Isn't that the kind of logic you read on WhatsApp and jump on to hating a whole community?

Congress must be willing to sacrifice in West Bengal, says Trinamool Chief Mamta Banerjee

The Congress Party has registered a great win in Karnataka and it is now the CM of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee who has expressed her wish to support the Congress Party provided they agree to let go of their aspirations in the state of West Bengal and support Trinamool Congress.

The comment from the Trinamool Chief came as a surprise as to date, she maintained a distance from the national party and always talked about the ‘unity and strength’ of the regional parties in West Bengal to counter the BJP party in the coming 2024 elections.

“Wherever the Congress is strong in their respective 200 seats what we have calculated, let them fight, we will support them. But they have to support other political parties as well. If I support you in Karnataka but you fight against me in Bengal that should not be the policy. If you want to achieve something good, then you have to sacrifice in certain areas,” Banerjee said during a press conference.

She further explained the 1:1 formula and said that the Congress Party must be willing to sacrifice in areas where the regional parties are strong and politically dominant.

“Whoever is strong in some places and regions, they should fight together [not against each other]. Suppose Bengal, so we should fight Bengal, Suppose Delhi so AAP [Aam Aadmi Party] should fight Delhi. In Bihar, Nitish Ji [Kumar] and Tejashwi ji [Yadav] and the Congress also should decide their formula,” she added.

She also said that the Karnataka assembly election results have made it clear that wherever the regional parties are strong, the BJP party cannot make any difference.

कर्नाटक विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले गेम चेंजर क्या हो सकता है

लिंगायतों, वोक्कालिगाओं के बीच समान रूप से वितरित अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के लिए आरक्षण; आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े मुसलमानों को 10% ईडब्ल्यूएस पूल में प्रतिस्पर्धा करनी होगी, बोम्मई ने घोषणा की।

इस साल अप्रैल-मई में होने वाले कर्नाटक विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले गेम चेंजर क्या हो सकता है, सत्तारूढ़ भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) सरकार ने अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के 2बी के तहत कर्नाटक में मुसलमानों को दिए गए 4% आरक्षण को खत्म कर दिया है ( ओबीसी) श्रेणी और इसे दो प्रमुख समुदायों - वीरशैव-लिंगायत और वोक्कालिगा - को नौकरियों और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में प्रवेश में प्रत्येक में 2% पर वितरित किया।

राज्य मंत्रिमंडल के फैसले के साथ, वोक्कालिगा और वीरशैव-लिंगायतों के लिए पिछड़े वर्गों के बीच 2सी और 2डी की नव-निर्मित श्रेणियों के तहत कोटा क्रमशः 4% से 6% और 5% से 7% तक बढ़ गया है।

शुक्रवार को कैबिनेट की बैठक की अध्यक्षता करने वाले मुख्यमंत्री बसवराज बोम्मई ने कहा कि आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े मुसलमानों को अब आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग (ईडब्ल्यूएस) कोटा के तहत बनाए गए 10% पूल में प्रतिस्पर्धा करनी होगी.......
