India is taking time because, even when I had the answer of what happened, I needed more information to understand more. So I wrote five more questions 🫠. I have two answered. I think Monday or Tuesday will be definitely ready ❤️. To fill the days I will be doing “light” questions.
Thank you for reading my readings 🕯️❤️
Answer:
I think when Paul met Cynthia, he knew what was the role she would play. He knew in a way that it was necessary that she was there. Did he feel good about it? No. He tried to not feel bad for her presence. I think what he couldn’t see is that she was there for the circumstances - the impulsive behaviour of John. When the wedding happened, he wasn’t happy, but he had to accept it anyways, so he tried very hard to have a prudent relationship with her. I think in a way he liked that Cynthia was John’s wife, because he then thought that she wasn’t an eager “competitor”, so that allowed that he could still do whatever he wanted to do with John.
So yes, there was jealousy I think, but “bearable” jealousy.
inspired by paperback book covers of the 60s and 70s, here’s a little graphic design project i’ve been working on pondering the question: what kind of self-help(esque) books would have been useful to the beatles WAGs circa 1968 - then creating them as if they had written them theirselves.
"John Lennon and Paul McCartney in particular were extremely good friends; they loved one another, really. They shared a spirit of adventure, a modest little childhood ambition: they were going to go out and conquer the world. They egged each other on, and helped each other if they got stuck. When John wanted to escape suburbia, he would drive up and spend the night at Paul’s."
"The disruption really came with the women. When you have very close personal relationships between two men and one of them goes off and gets a girl there's divergence.'
“Such an odd couple really, because they were different and yet very similar. Both had big egos, both very good songwriters - but they needed each other like mad.”
